October 8, 2023…read more Transaction number 8233 I normally wouldn't email the CEO of a company on a Sunday but I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the following store number: 81375 I bought a storage container and when I got home immediately noticed there was a crack and brought it back for an exchange the same day. An African American woman named according to her Bran working on 10/8/23 at 2:17 pm rudely interrupted my transaction to tell me that she couldn't return it because I hadn't been broken when I left. She didn't handle my first transaction nor I had I ever seen or spoken to her before. But she proceeded to call me dishonest over something I simply hadn't noticed. I was not asking for a refund but simply an exchange as I needed the item. I shop here all the time and she was so rude and unprofessional that even the sales girl apologized for her behavior. But the sticking point for me was her calling me a dishonest person. Even if she said, the policy was to not accept returns it would have been handled better. I have never been treated so poorly in a store publicly. She eventually let the sales professional handle it but it was extremely unpleasant. Sent to CEO regarding this experience

I recently purchased a mattress and adjustable base from this location for the Memorial Day weekend…read moreSALE. I was really excited about the deep discounts on the sale price, so we were eager to get the mattress. Firas was our mattress expert, and he was determined to provide a high-quality service in case anything should go wrong with the delivery or product. Well, come delivery day, the DELIVERY was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, likely just a bad 3rd party that Mattress Firm uses, and no reflection of my sales team at the store. The delivery team was RUDE and wanted to be out of our house as quickly as possible. They brought the new mattress in and removed the old one, as required, but then, when they went to bring in the base, the box was noticeably damaged and punctured. The delivery team said this "was not a big deal and happens all the time ... it will work fine." We opened the box and found there to be rips and tears all over the base, which they insisted was fine. The delivery team also set up the base and took the extra pieces with them after I had instructed them to be left with us in case we needed to adjust the height. They were visibly angry that this was not a quick drop-off for them, despite the damaged merchandise, which I had every right to refuse delivery of, since I did not purchase damaged merchandise. I quickly called Shawn (in front of the delivery team), the Assistant Store Manager at my Mattress Firm location, explained, and Firas was off that day, so not able to resolve our issue directly. With some conversation, Shawn was able to resolve our issue and arrange for the base to be swapped at no charge to us. The new base arrived in excellent condition and worked exactly as intended. Shawn and Firas were FANTASTIC and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for making this situation right.

I went in and worked with Robert who provided excellent advice and we were able to order the bed and have it shipped to the Store and Hilo Hawaii so that it would be ready for when we arrive at his apartment to move him in. Robert also managed to get us an excellent discount even with this unique order situation. This was extremely helpful and made the process easy as the bed is in the apartment waiting for us to move him in thanks to some friends and The people at the Hilo store. We will continue to shop at the store thanks to the excellent customer service and pricing we get.

Bought a $60 pillow from this store and they told me that they warranty it if it flattened out…read more About two weeks later it did flatten out just like the cheaper pillows so I took it back and now I was told that they don't warranty it; that I had to go thru the manufacturer. Called the manufacturer and they told me that they would replace it but I would have to pay to ship the pillow to them and then pay for shipping to have the replacement pillow shipped to me. This would have come out to be about the same cost or more of the pillow and I didn't want the same pillow that would flatten again. So am out the $60 because the salesperson lied to me. If I had bought a pillow from a larger store am pretty sure they would not have lied to me like this place did. Is why I always try to stay away from smaller specialty stores like Mattress Warehouse.

My husband and I are renovating our guest and kids' bathrooms, and Amy was truly fantastic to work with. She was patient, thoughtful, and really creative, and she quickly understood what I was going for--something elevated but still within a budget. She had seen me working with other designers in the store before and clearly picked up on my style and preferences. Amy helped me find beautiful marble along with really complementary floor and niche tiles at great prices, and she even helped make some deals work. She genuinely has a great eye and comes up with tile combinations that feel intentional and a little different. Bryce was also great. After a frustrating earlier experience where a designer didn't send me my designs and then left the job--wasting time and setting things back--Bryce went out of his way to help turn that experience around. He was kind, responsive, and very focused on making sure I walked away feeling good about the store and my experience. He also helped make pricing work on some closeout tiles, which I really appreciated. I've spent at least six or seven hours in this store over the past few weeks, and everyone I interacted with was helpful and pleasant. If you're looking for strong design help, good pricing, and people who genuinely care about customer experience, this location is absolutely worth visiting.

Our salesperson talked to us about the Ease adjustable base. We were on the fence, because it honestly looked like a hack (as in, it does not operate as easily or as logically as a Sleep Number bed, whose entire design revolves around it being adjustable). Putting a $6,000 traditional mattress on top of a base that adjusts does not necessarily make a good "adjustable bed". I contacted the store to see if we could keep the mattress and return the base for a normal box spring, under the terms of the 120 day guarantee. No dice, they answered, the adjustable base is non-returnable. This was not made clear at the time of sale, which implied the entire set could be returned if we weren't happy with it. So now I'm stuck with an $800 adjustable base that is not good and I'm not going to use. The only reason we agreed to try it was because we were led to believe we could return it, and now they won't take it back. With no shortage of mattress stores around, I will definitely not be going back here.
