In February I bought what I thought was the most comfortable and stylish sectional from Ashley's Homestore in Dulles. The sales representative was very helpful during the transaction and my husband and I went through the entire buying experience without any issues. Although we had a great buying experience with the representative living with this piece of furniture for the last couple of months has been a complete nightmare. First, within a week we noticed that we would sink considerably when we set on the chaise part of the sectional. So we contacted customer service and they replaced the chaise because the springs in the sofa needed repairing and I demanded a new chaise instead having them patch work the one I had only for a week. Now that we have received the new chaise it is quite noticeable that the cushion on the other part of the sectional has flattened considerable well beyond what it should have for a 2 month sofa. Not to mention that the pilliows and cushions on this sectional shift constantly making it extremely uncomfortable to sit on for an extended period of time. I can honestly say this is the WORST furniture purchase I have every made. In the last two months I have purchased furniture from both Macys and Bob's furniture without any issues. This was my first and last purchase from Ashley's. I would warn anyone who is considering buying their furniture in the future to take these reviews seriously and avoid the hassle and headache we are experiencing having spent our hard earned money on crappy, poor quality and ill designed furniture that we can't return and have to live with. read more

My husband and I purchased several items on 11/12/2017 We were told that the items would be delivered the week of the 24th of November- the estimated arrival was 11/16/17 to the distribution center. We called after we received no word from the store. We were told the first time that they were waiting on the coffee table, that everything else was in. The next time we called we were told the TV stand wasn't in. When we pointed out that we had been told previously that we were only waiting on the coffee table, they said they would check. The third time the store called us and said that they had everything but the coffee table, that they couldn't find one and wanted to know if we would take the display model, which we agreed to. They said that they could deliver everything today. My husband arranged to be home to receive the furniture. Today when he called they said that the lamps weren't in and so they couldn't deliver. I called tonight and told them that I would bring back the items that we had already taken since they could not deliver as promised. They said that they could not deliver tomorrow as the truck was full and could not deliver until Tuesday. I asked for the delivery fee to be removed since my husband would have to take off work to receive the order, and he refused. When I asked for the store manager's name (to whom I was speaking) he refused to identify himself other than "Kevis" the first two times, then finally gave me his full name when I asked why he would not identify himself. When I asked to return the furniture to the store, he told me " I could take it to Fredericksburg". When I asked the name of his boss or superior, he told me he was it. He laughed and said, "Not everyone has a boss." Incredibly poor customer service. I hate that I gave this store my money and urge everyone out there to shop elsewhere. read more

If I could give this negative stars I would. Completely horrid customer service from day 1. Sales challenged me on every step of purchasing a table. Came late. Unreturned calls. Then the pickup happened. Customer service rep was supposed to meet us out back and after 10 minutes didn't show after we drove there. When we drove back around she was helping another customer and told me "you just went out there." Then started talking about me when I walked away to another customer and I could hear her so I came back to tell her it was unacceptable. She told me I must have "misinformation." Not only utter disrespect on every level but terrible service and you aren't treated like a person. Overall sleezy. read more

They are liars who will say anything to make a sale. I asked multiple times when the furniture would be delivered. Every time they are like "Oh it's only 2-3 weeks! We manufacture everything! Don't worry" Sure enough, 2 and a half weeks go by and I call to check on delivery, and they tell me that the chair won't be available until June, and the sofa won't be available until JULY! When I asked why I was told otherwise and why the sofa couldn't be delivered earlier, there answer was "it's just not available". So completely ridiculous. They delivered the rest of the furniture that was ready (probably only because I was pissed and complaining about their lying). They never called to notify me of any delay. The woman I spoke to said they would "see" if they could get the couch earlier. I'm sure they'll never call me back and I will have to call again, and talk to a manager. I hate doing this, I hate having to complain and cause a stink. If they had just told me that it would take 8-12 weeks instead of 2-3, then maybe I would've purchased something else. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Spend the extra cash if you can, and go somewhere reputable like Belfort. read more

Wow. That sums up how poor my experience has been with them so far. We purchased a living and bedroom set from them and were disappointed to find out when we paid that it would be three weeks for delivery. This mind you with getting paid up front. Since then it has been one false commitment after another with nobody on their end really seeming to know what's going on. The furniture we were told would come by September 2nd. Today is the 12th and we still do not have the entire order. They have split the order, told us a piece would be late because it was broken and then had it show up with another part of the piecemeal delivery however a piece that was supposed to be with that delivery was not on the truck and so on. Time on the phone with them is painful at best. The store people claim no way to control the delivery and factory people, however they are all one. The manager of the store is very nice however you get the sense he deals with this sort of thing a lot. We made the mistake of not reading the YELP reviews first before purchasing and secondly by paying all of it up front making it very convenient for them to delivery when they get around to it. We should have known something was up the day we purchased when a man was talking to the manager and literally pounding his fists on the desk he was so angry at whatever commitment they had failed to live up to with him. Furniture we got was beautiful but will not shop there again. read more

Please don't read 1-Star but ZERO-Star. I will never put my feet back again at Ashley store. BAD BAD experience. I bought a sofa at end of January 2018. They schedule deliver for end February but a real schedule was for March 9th. I disposed my old sofa waiting for the deliver. Deliver at that day never happened. Went to store many many times to get the deliver done and only got excuses and bad service. I called the customer service and always the deliver was being postponed for April, then beginning of May, middle of May and so on. They schedule a new deliver on March 28th and I hoped that was a final step. But one more upset happened. They want to deliver a display model of the sofa with some stains and of course I didn't accept it. I bought a brand new sofa and not a display model. Went to store again many times and asked for money back. They said that can not cancel orders. How they can not cancel order that they can not deliver?!?!? After many more tries they finally sent me a refund. Many headaches. I had to live without sofa for months, watching TV seating in the floor, etc. I already contacted my relatives and friends to inform that bad experience with Ashley Furniture. read more

I won't do my business with them at all. I placed an order for heavy reclining sofa and love sets but my family didn't like those furniture. I called them the next day to cancel my order but they refused to do so. The lady at the service desk told me that I can cancel it but there is 30% restocking fee ...oh my...! so, I need to give them $470 to cancel my order that was placed 12 hrs ago. I just wanted the store credit so that I could purchase some lighter sets. I wanted to talk to the manager but he wasn't available until the third day. Eventually, I met him but he wanted to do the bargain with re-stocking fee. He asked me to choose any sets. I chose the cheapest sets, but he told me that I need to pay at least 15% re-stocking fee...That was just a non-sense... Rip-off!!....won't buy anything from them.. I want them to be out of the furniture business. read more

Never buying from here again!!!! I'm not going to even waste my time writing the HELL my boyfriend & I went through with this place. Just save yourself the time, money and headaches... Worst purchase ever of my life. I would never shop there and will recommend all my friends and family not too!!!!!! They are the worst at providing customer service!!!!!! I bought the furniture about a month ago and got it delivered... 3 chairs were not balanced and damaged . It took them 3 weeks to send someone to fixed it and they did some really crappy job!!!!! They don't care for their client needs at all. I have never seen this kinda bad service from any company except Ashley home store. I m very much surprised that they are still in business!!!!!! I wish there was option for negative points!!!!!! Ashley home store employees - you guys really need to realize that there are million stores out there to buy furniture from and it's all about the CUSTOMER SERVICE and you guys are probs the worst for me!!!!! read more

College students don't realize how lucky they are to have only a milk crate for furniture so they don't have to put up with the @#&*% from Ashley Furniture. We bought a beautiful table/chairs a year ago. It arrived and 3 of the 4 plaid seats were crooked. It took several weeks to replace them, which, consequentlty, were shipped to our address for us to do. Within a few months, the top of the table started peeling and the chairs had little chips in the wood where they hit the table. I called several times but nobody ever returned my calls. After one year, the situation is still unresolved. read more

Do yourself a favor if you are looking for furniture. Go see Skip at this Ashley location. He's now going to be my "furniture guy." He was amazing. We had to purchase furniture for a new house we bought in Leesburg and we were lucky enough to get Skip as our sales person. He was very patient with us as we were furnishing our entire house so we literally looked at every piece they had in store. We also have two small children who he was great with and would interact and entertain them during our discussions with my wife about what we wanted. I asked him if he would start working at the new Store in Leesburg and he said he would come up there for us on his days off. Just awesome. He also looked up every piece of furniture in the system to insure there wouldn't be a long wait for delivery in what we ordered. Again, go see Skip and you won't have a negative post or experience. read more

I bought a mattress set over the phone and was suppose to be delivered in couple days. Salesman called next day and said we cannot get it for another week or more, go ahead buy it from some place else and we will refund you your money, I went ahead and bought another mattress. I got to know there is a 30% re-stocking fee, which I was never told about, in fact I never received my receipt. I spoke to Salesman, he said to talk to the manager. I spoke to floor manager, he said dispute with credit card company, we cannot do much about it. I spoke to GM, he said we can offer Gift Card, I said I cannot accept GC as its not my fault, he said I will call back on Monday after talk to my boss. That Monday never came. Just left him another message. I never got any refund. Not even my receipt. Not even my Mattress. I guess only option I have is to dispute with my credit card company. Overall my experience was good. My salesman Michael was very helpful and accommodating in every way. He answered my calls and emails promptly. I saw the bedroom furniture in a brochure and liked it when I went to the store. Two unsettling situations - delivery took longer than expected and I had to call the warehouse twice to find out what was going on. I received final delivery only after I called. Secondly, the color of the bedroom set was brown whereas I wanted the grayish color. But I Like the furniture and am glad to have it. The delivery guys were very efficient. I am sorry to read all the bad reviews. Overall, I feel very fortunate. read more

As the previous comments I agree the worst custmer service I have ever received wish I could give negative stars!!! TRUST ME DONT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE YOU WILL REGRET IT! So I purchased a King Sized MATTRESS & box springs in JANUARY after calling several times to set up delevery I was told several times it was not in yet. Finally in April My items where in so I could set up delivery, (Ashely usesT&T distribution to delivery there furniture which is even more of an headache b/c the drivers don't speak good ENGLISH!) the original representative told me the did not deliver on sat & Sun so I took off of work for Monday. But when I called to confirm I was told that was incorrect that the don't deliver on Sun & Monday So the only option I had was to have my mattress delivered on Sat. The same day my furniture was being moved in. My origanal delivery time was for 8-11 am which was impossible b/c I was moving that day so they changed my delivery time to 4-7. I was supposed to be the last delivery of the day. Well Saturday came. The non English speaking deliverers called me every HR on the HR to deliver early something about his Madre?!?!? So finally I gave in.... Big mistake on my part.... My furniture was not set up yet so my mattress & boxsprings had to be left out side my door. When I finally went to put it on my bed the box spring was damaged it had a whole in it. I was furious. So fast forward to this Saturday that just past 16 April the delivery company was supposed to bring my replacement box spring between 8-11. I had a 3pm flight to make that day but like 4 mins away from the airport so I thought I would be safe... Wrong the delivers WENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS!!! & instead of coming to me next they went to the next delivery. After T&T distribution was very unhelpful I called Ashley Furniture b/c this is who I paid my money to. I asked for the store Manager (Mike) he thought my problem was beneath him (even though he begged me to write a review online when I purchased my items in store) so he passed my call to Andrew a customer service rep. Well when I spoke to Andrew about my issues & how I had a flight to catch he Laughed & ask what was he supposed to do. Finally the delivers arrived at 12:30 & we're done by 1! But all in all this was the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AND WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN.! OH & MIKE HERE IS YOU REVIEW YOU REQUESTED read more

They don't even warrant a one star. We bought a very expensive mattress with full warranty from Sterling Ashley. Long story short the Temperpedic started to dip in the middle. You can google this...it's at least a common enough defect it pops up on searches. Ashley sends a technician to my home who tells me he sees the dip and he'll submit the paperwork for replacement. Then weeks later I get a voicemail that Ashley is denying the claim because it was the bed frame that was defective. THE BED FRAME WE PURCHASED WITH THE MATTRESS FROM ASHLEY, STERLING! The voicemail then goes on to suggest we go the hardware store and attempt to fix this ourselves. This was on November 25th, 2016. It's now July of 2017. In between this time they have come out to my home three more times, each time with an excuse of losing the previous technicians report. They constantly change their reasons in not expediting our claim and keep telling us they need to send another technician to the house to do another report on the mattress. We were furnishing a second home and went to Ashley for what we thought were reasonable prices. We knew the quality would not be great but we are not using this furniture every day. So we picked out $4100 worth of furniture. Writing up the bill became a major problem for them and after 30 minutes, we told them we were going to lunch. They hate you to leave the showroom but we did anyway. During lunch, we discussed whether we should even go back. The sales pitch is very aggressive and you feel like you are dealing with used car salesmen. But we went back and they had the invoice printed up. When we asked how much they wanted down, they insisted on all the money up front. We have been buying furniture for a long time (granted, in much better places than this) and no one has ever asked for the entire amount up front. After reading all the previous reviews, you can see why they would do that. They have your money, provide lousy service and there isn't much you can do about it. We refused even after they got the manager. We are so happy we walked. Please don't buy furniture from these shysters - you will be so sorry you did. W read more

warning!!!!!!!! I had very bad experience in this store. It has its own aggressive policy which won't allow any refund and exchange. There is no order cancellation unless you pay 30% restock fee and get the rest 70% store credit. You will not get any happiness after you dealing with them. It is a big trap. Don't become its prey. This store won't last long. read more

While I've had a less than stellar experience w/ this place, my review applies to the location in the Manassas area as well. 2 years ago we went into Ashley and dropped about $7K on a living room and bedroom set. We told them we'd been staying in a temporary place but would be moving into a new location (gave them a specific date) and said that we have NO furniture and that before we commit to buying those items we wanted to be sure they'd be delivered on time as we'd have nothing to sleep or sit on if they were not. Long story short, they did not deliver on time and when they did deliver, all of the pieces were not sent. Because our temp living quarters were not available after the day we moved out, we had to sleep on our floor for over a week until they delivered (just) our mattress. When we called the sales person, who obviously collected a commission on our sale, we found out she was no longer there. We got the run around, multiple calls went not returned. Last week we moved into a new home and needed new furniture. We liked some pieces at Ashley so we decided to deal with a different location and decided to go to the one here in the Dulles Town Crossing center. It seemed that the problem w/ our first experience was more with the sales person and lack of customer service at the Manassas center, not necessarily the lack of availability. We went in an quickly identified a salesman who did not 'stalk' us and seemed genuinely interested in earning our business. We dropped another $5K, this time on a full office set and pull out sofa. However, before we signed anything we told the salesman about our last experience and told him that we need him to check availability. We told him that if the stuff was not available, that we would not be placing the order because we don't want to be expecting the items and have them not show. He checked and assured us they were in stock and they could deliver May 2nd, as needed. Two days later, there became an issue with the date of our move so I called the salesman who was glad to change our delivery date to May 1st. I called customer service the next day, just to make sure it was correct in the system and they confirmed we were set for May 1st. A couple days later I called the distribution center, the one that calls you to set up delivery, and they too said it was in the system for May 1st. A few days before our move I rec'vd a call from the distribution center, calling to confirm our delivery for May 2nd. I immediately called our salesman, only to find out he was no longer with Ashley. Ultimately, they ended up delivering on May 1st yet only after no less than 10 calls to them. When the items were delivered, one of them was incorrect AND we were charged for it, more money than the item we'd actually ordered. At first, they seemed attentive in addressing it and I even got a call from a manager who told me his top priority was to get this corrected and get us the correct part right away. He said he'd be in touch w/ a delivery date for the correct part. I got no call back from him yet the following day a woman whom I never spoke with, called me to ask (over the phone) for my fiance's credit card number so they could refund the difference. I told her we would come into the store to handle that, that I would not be giving a credit card over the phone, especially when I was not expecting her call and did not even know if it was legit. I did say that I was expecting a call from the manager to tell me when they'd be bringing the new piece. That was last Thursday. Today I called the store to find out what was going on, only to be put on hold and then hung up on. Called back to be disconnected for a 2nd time and the third call I was put on hold for almost 20 minutes, only to have the old music stop and a phone line start ringing...after hearing this ring about 40 times, I hung up and called back yet again. This time, after only a mere 5 minute hold, I was told our part would not be delivered for about 3 more weeks. When I asked why so long and why no one had called to tell me this, I was told the part we ordered was unavailable and was offered to reason why or even an apology for not getting a call back. We had another bedroom set, dining room set and hutch we planned to order yet that wont be happening...not with Ashley anyway. They stalk their customers from the moment you walk in the door, some of the sales persons circling you like sharks, no matter how many times you tell them you don't need their help or ask them nicely to go away. The customer service after the sale is substantially lacking. We gave them a second chance but they don't get a 3rd. read more

If we could, we would give them zero stars. Their customer service is very poor. The sales guy Abraham said they have all furniture in stock, but we did not get our furniture until 2 months after. Every time we called , he promised he would call back, but never did! The same goes for the store manager, who never bothered to return our calls. They just want you to place order and then they know you are trapped and do very little from their end to expedite the delivery. They charge you for white glove delivery service, but its no where close to what they promise. Our furniture was damaged with scratches, tear, etc. Not recommending them to anyone and will not buy anything else from here in future. read more

Positive: We recieved good customer service in the store. Employees are a little aggressive but other than that it was a good experience. The store manager there was beyond kind. He is a very friendly man. Negative: 2 to 4 weeks delivery. We waited all day on a Saturday. Of course, it cant be delivered at the convenience of the buyer, who just spent well over a thousand dollars on new furnature! A four hour window is given...I think they forget that people usually work monday thru friday. It was delivered exactly 4 weeks. Like i said we waited all day. Our window was 10 to 1 and it didnt even show up until almost 2:30. Only half of the oder came. No one even bothered to call and tell us only half of our order was coming that day. Then we had to wait until another saturday to waste the day again waiting on our second half of undelivered furnature. We called to explain our frustration and the women who answered at the store in the costomer service department was beyond rude. Pretty sure if you work in customer service you should at least have a personality and be helpful. She wasnt. We ended up having to talk to the friendly store manger again. He addressed our concerns professionally. We canceled half of the order that wasnt delivered and got our delivery fee back. Thank you to that kind manager. I would not recommend this furnature store to anyone. Sorry!! Incredibly frustrating! read more

if i could give them 0 stars i would. run far away do not order from them. terrible service. i ordered a dining table and some sofas. the dining table was missing parts and sofas had scratches all over them. i was obviously very upset as this was brand new and i payed a lot for it. i called and told them this and they said they would order me a new one, i would have to order the parts, and they would send someone to fix it. it took a month for the parts to arrive and another month for him to fix it. he came and didn't know how to fix it. he also said he only thirty minutes so he only fixed one of them and left it half undone. they said they would need another month to send another guy to fix it. also he ripped my sofa.‍. they sent me another sofa which took two months to arrive but it had even more scratches. this whole ordeal lasted six months. this was irresponsible, unprofessional, rude, awful, terrible, disgusting, and evil. . i asked for a refund and they refused. they are money stealers and thievesssss. also they are liarsss they record the calls and write down something else. they said i was completely fine with all of this even though the manager knew how upset i was. please do not buy from them. runnnnnn ‍‍‍ read more

My wife purchased 2 bedroom sets on November 27. She specifically said that we needed the bedroom sets before Christmas as we were having company over during that holiday. The contact person said that will not be a problem. So they were scheduled to be delivered on December 15. They delivered one of the sets, set it up, everything was fine. Upon setting up the second bedroom set they realized they were missing a part. They said they would have the part in a few days, we we get a phone call to confirm delivery the day before. Never got any phone calls, although we did Get a designated day that it would be delivered. They never showed up that day, even though my wife waited during the four hour window that was designated. After the four hour window she made a phone call and Ashley furniture said that they called and left a message the day before saying that the part never came in. Well, she never got a phone call... Strike one! They then proceeded to set up another time, saying that they would call to set up another appointment. She got an email and an automated message saying that they would have the part delivered on a certain day, still before Christmas. On that day, during the four hour window, she waited again, but no one came. She called again after the four hour window and they said again that they called the day before to say that the part never came in. Well, she never got a phone call the day before... Strike two. Then they had one last ditch effort to get us the part the Saturday before Christmas. And again the same scenario... Strike three. I was livid! Considering we had company that was supposed to come that weekend and we had no functioning bedroom furniture for one bedroom that was promised to us before Christmas. So after Christmas, I walked into the brick and mortar in Sterling. Spoke to someone named Kievan I believe, last name was Davison. He was somewhat receptive at first, then got a little chip on his shoulder after he apologized for giving us hardware that was supposed to replace the hardware that was not appropriate when that bedroom set was initially delivered. That hardware was not even close to what we needed. After I told him that apologizing wasn't enough considering we were promised the bedroom set before Christmas, then he proceeded to tell me I was hostile. Meanwhile, I never raised my voice, I was stern, but never depicted any hostile behavior whatsoever. And the dude thinks that he wanted me to rub his back and give him a gold star for trying to give us parts that were not even close to what we needed? Give me a break. When we paid that kind of money, and it was very expensive, I expected it to be right, I expected it to be delivered on time, and I expected honesty, which we did not receive at all considering three times Ashley furniture said they called us to let us know that the part was not in and we never received phone calls. Even if we would have received the phone calls, let's face it, we were promised the set before Christmas and it never happened. So customer service was extremely unacceptable. Let's face it, in this day and age of online buying, when you walk into a brick and mortar, I expect Service to the utmost degree. And that was not achieved in the least. And then this guy turns around and gets on my case as if he should've been applauded for trying to help us out, give me a break. Needless to say, I won't be going back there for anything other than to dissuade others from buying any material items. read more

This has been the worst experience EVER. Avoid this place at all cost. If I could give -10 stars I would. I ordered a dining room set on 3/11/17 it is now 6/6/17 and they're telling me I have to wait another 2 1/2 weeks for the furniture to arrive, not at my house, but to their warehouse. And then wait for them to deliver to my house. This is beyond ridiculous. When I ordered the table I was told it was in back order and it would be available on 5/5/17. We'll the date came and nothing. I went to the store to try and cancel because at this point my old dining table fell apart and now I have no dining table. Turns out even if it's their fault they will not let you cancel the order. This table hadn't even been made and they wouldn't cancel the order. I was told "it looks like" it would arrive on 6/9/17. I called today to see what is going on and now they're telling me I have to wait until the end of June! Avoid this place like the plague, aside from the terrible service they can never do anything to compensate for all the trouble and headache they make their customers go through. It's always I'm sorry my hands are tied I can't do that. AVOID! I'm never shopping here again and making sure none of my friends or family shop here either. read more

The cashier and the salesman were great and made the experience worth having. Our order came in about a week and was set up quickly read more

If I could give this review less than one star, I would. The furniture pieces sold at Ashley are decent, and you can get a good deal if you compare prices week to week and navigate the sales. The in-store customer service is good -- what you'd expect from a commission-based purchase. The delivery and post-delivery customer service, however, is a nightmare. They profess "white glove" service, but the delivery vendor is anything but professional. Your delivery date can vary and no timeframe is generally promised. Once you receive your furniture, good luck if anything is damaged or defective. Replacements will take weeks at a time between waiting for stock and then scheduling. My wife and I are now on our 5th piece of furniture for one piece, and a recent "repair" on another was half-complete because the repairman "forgot his tools" at a previous job. Emails to customer service for Ashley have been flat out ignored (three times). Emails to the delivery company, T&T Distribution, have been ignored (many times). You can look forward to having to call back every other day otherwise your replacement could sit in the warehouse for weeks waiting for someone to address your delivery. At this point, I would not purchase again from, nor recommend, Ashley Furniture. I would reconsider my position should our situation be addressed and resolved in a timely manner by someone who actually cares to keep our business and future referrals. At present, it seems this store could care less. read more

Worst service ever. We got a chair from this store in September. Upon delivery, we noticed some damage and called customer service. They sent someone out, but he never called to tell us when he would arrive. We called back to reschedule and were told we would need to pay a $75 fee for the missed appointment. We were able to get that waived and the technician came back in early October. He said he would need to replace the back panel of the chair and ordered the part. It was supposed to arrive in about 2 weeks. Finally, in early January they called back to set up another appointment but we still hadn't received the part. Miraculously, the part then arrived a few days later and the appointment was set for mid-February. The day before the appointment they called to cancel since the tech(I guess there is only 1) had a death in the family. A week later they finally called to reschedule the appointment for early March. We are so frustrated with them that we asked if we could either swap out the chair or just return it. We were informed that they have the right to repair first, and that the delay is really our fault for missing the first appointment. We will never buy furniture there again. read more

Our salesperson, B, was awesome. He took wonderful care of us while we were in the store. He was knowledgeable, patient and kind. He was able to answer all of our questions. He was not pushy at all. He wanted us to feel comfortable with our decisions. Please, go visit him. You won't be unhappy that you did. read more

The overall in store experience has been great. There was an error where I received the wrong end table but must give credit for the way the store employees handled the situation by promptly fixing the problem. Melissa was there to work with me from the beginning to end and turned a bad day into a good one. The delivery service on the other hand is not handled directly by the store and could use a little work but again, the actual people delivering the furniture were fast and courteous when they showed up. read more

I wish I would have looked at these reviews before making the mistake of trying to buy anything from Ashley. Ordered a simple rug in January and each time I followed up on the day they previously said it would arrive, they just said it would be several more weeks & acted like I was crazy for even calling....on the day they told me it would arrive (?!). Finally gave up & got a rug somewhere else. Spoke to Ashley on 03/27 about refund. They were going to check into and call back. Called back today (over 3 weeks later) since I never received any feedback at all. Got transferred around, was matter of factly told "oh yeah, the manager said no refunds." When I asked if their plan was to keep my payment AND the rug, they said I would have to speak to the manager...and hung up on me. Called back...went to voicemail. What a great way to run a business...take the payments and never deliver the product...all profit! I wish I had thought of that! read more

THIS IS THE WORST PURCHASE EVER ! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE ! We ordered and received our dinning table and 8 chairs. The dinning table and four of the chairs were damaged. The delivery guy took the pictures of the damage and then few weeks later the technician showed up at our place to inspect the damage. The technician told us that the dinning table and chairs have to be replaced and that someone will contact us to arrange for replacements. Since then, I have been calling customer care every single day. I was told once that they lost paperwork, sometimes they tell me that the replacement was approved and I would get a phone call, on several occasions I was asked to leave a message for manager so they will return my call and provide status. I even called the Sterling store and reported the issue but they didn't care a damn. No one ever called back and customer service is a JOKE. This is a SCAM company and I would never recommend the store to anyone. I have brand new damaged furniture delivered to my home and there is absolutely no communication from the store or customer care. I am going to escalate this to BBB and other agencies and report this scam. read more

Save your money. Do not order from this store!!! We placed an order in July for a large sectional from Ashley Furniture. Had a great experience ordering it (and giving them all of our money...) so we were hopeful that we'd found a nice place to do business since we'd been shopping for a while at that point for a new couch. The problems began when our order, that was set to deliver in August, was backordered and we received no phone call or information that the warehouse was still waiting on part of our order. It took me - the customer! - calling in to learn of the backorder, but Customer Care was somewhat helpful in setting me up with a delivery date that worked with my schedule so I was confident things were moving in the right direction. Boy, was I wrong..... On the day of delivery (almost 1 1/2 months after we'd ordered the sectional), Ashley Furniture's delivery truck pulls up with our sectional. I will give them props here - the delivery truck was on time as promised. But that is all that went well that day, unfortunately. The sectional came in 3 pieces and was clearly just fitting through the door when the delivery guys were unloading it. I tried to help with the door to keep it from being in their way, but they were in more of a hurry than anything and literally heaved and jammed it in faster than I could beg them to be careful. As they unloaded piece by piece in my home, I began to discover they were ripping the leather on each and every part of my brand new sectional due to their carelessness as they were trying to hurry through the delivery. I tried to deny the delivery and they put me on the phone with Customer Care. I spoke with Jade who was more than helpful and put me at ease that I could keep the sectional while they reordered all brand new pieces for me. I sent her photos of the damage and I truly believed she was going to make it all right for us. She told me to just keep the couch in the meantime since it'd be a few weeks before they could get back out to me with the replacement. Weeks passed and the next delivery arrived at the warehouse. Jade had put a note on the account for a Manager to inspect the pieces before they were delivered to us and requesting new delivery guys. I received my delivery window time for the following day, and I believed that things were going to be fixed. Boy, was I wrong again!.... The next day, the delivery window came and passed. I - again, the customer! - finally had had enough and decided to call Customer Care to find out what had happened. It turns out the delivery guys were running behind but were on their way. Fine, it just so happened I was home all day and their delay was better than a no show. So, I waited. It was a new set of delivery guys this time around. They were much more careful and very helpful in making sure they did not damage the pieces as they brought them in. I was SO RELIEVED! We pulled out 2 of the 3 pieces and things were looking good, no damages, and they were able to take away my ripped furniture. And then we got to the biggest piece of the sectional - the sofa sleeper - and we can tell it was never inspected/never out of its plastic like we had requested it to be before delivery. The delivery guys open it up to bring it inside and lo and behold, the seams are completely ripped/not sewn together on the arms of the couch. You have got to be kidding me!!!!! Long story short, 2 of the pieces were fixed and we had to place yet another replacement order for a 3rd delivery. I had to speak to a new person at Customer Care, Dwan, after learning that Jade no longer worked for Ashley Furniture -- just my luck. Dwan was helpful in following up via email for me and assured me that he would keep the delivery guys from this time as I was pleased with how much they took care of my pieces (unlike the first time around.) He also put a note on the account to have a Manager inspect the sofa sleeper before it came out to us for the 3rd delivery. The last update for this review: We had our 3rd delivery this past Saturday and I was disappointed to see it was the same guys who'd damaged the pieces in the first place. He tried to lie and tell me he'd never been to our place before but I recognized him as soon as he told me his name. They pulled the sofa sleeper off the truck, and you could tell it'd never been out of the plastic (meaning a Manager never even opened it to inspect it for us...) Right away we saw multiple gauges out of the leather and white markings on the cushions that we couldn't wipe off. We denied the order and were put in contact with Customer Care again to set up our 4th delivery attempt. At this point, I have zero hope in Ashley Furniture. There is absolutely no way I can get my money back and sadly, we also wasted putting money out for their replacement warranty when we first ordered with them. I can't even get a Manager or someone higher up to call me regarding this God awful service. read more

We were looking at a 2 piece sectional, asked the sales rep if hardware was available to attach the pieces. She asked the sales manager, who came over and said the rubber feet would keep the pieces from sliding apart. With kids and dogs, we knew rubber feet wouldn't be enough. He assured us that if the sectional moved around after it was delivered, we only had to call customer care and someone would be sent out with hardware to attach the pieces. After leaving 4 voicemails on the customer care number and no return call over three weeks, called the store, salesperson connected me to customer care. explained the problem, she said she'd researched and call back. Two weeks later, she says there is no hardware available and they can't do anything. So the sales manager lied to our faces and we are stuck with furniture we wouldn't have bought if he had told the truth. We are now waiting for a customer care manager to call us per our request. Very unhappy with the dishonesty we experienced. read more

Overall we had a terrible time they say 3-4 weeks to keep you satisfied but it took us 11 weeks for it to even ship here. When u call them they will just make a excuse to shut you up overall there just a pain I will never buy from them again! read more

They don't allow a NO STAR. Purchased furniture 11/19/16. WE WANTED FURNITURE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Were told by the store we'll hear something in 2 weeks, have to order these items. Call on 12/3/16. Spoke to Eubinka x10038, very helpful, doesn't seem to be her extension anymore, says being transferred to Joe Jackson. She was helpful in at least giving some sort of dates; after I called to find out anything. Told me one piece will be at the warehouse 12/13/16 & the rest 12/16/16. Tried to call store tonight to check status of anything. Because there has been absolutely no communication about product, DELIVERY, status. I need to know delivery date & time, I don't have the easiest schedule to bend. Unless I know when we will receive the furniture. But yet again I have to reach out to find out anything about my order. Four weeks and no communication about anything. I would lose my job. Please give me an accurate update. THIS IS ONLY THE HALF OF THE HORRIFIC SERVICE. And we're still waiting. read more

very bad experience with Ashley. I bought a bed, a set of mattress and a mattress protector from Ashley store at this Thanksgiving day and they actually did not even give me the mattress protector which I paid for it. The delivery was quick but the delivery guys just walked into my house without any foot cover or floor cover on a rainy day. Today I called the customer service to ask for the mattress protector I paid for and was put on hold over 20 minutes before one guy finally picked up the phone. After I talked less than 2 minutes to the guy he put me on hold again... and I still don't have my mattress protector. I'm very disappointed!! read more
