I was waiting for 2 weeks no one called and said any words. Well then don't sale while you don't have any in stock rather then took my money make me wait for 2 weeks and said not available. I called another time 2nd lady said don't call me around 8:30pm cause store close at 9pm and i need to go home. If you don't wanna work till 9pm then change store hours on website that you close by 8:30pm or do not calling 30 minutes before store closing at your website and front door. I called another time 3rd lady told me can you come look for another mattress and it will delivered tomorrow. Excuse all of you! You sold me mattress not i ask for free. You don't have what you sold then do not waste my time, give me the money back. Worse customer service, please avoid this place or you will never get the mattress and has to due with all bad experiences which i never experienced in my life.

We bought a Queen standard mattress for our son, and then soon afterwards bought a twin for my daughter and now a King Purple Flex mattress for hubby and me. The Queen and King mattresses come with the adorable squishy toys! The airy waffle mattresses are super comfy and hold up well and even better than our Sleep Number mattress! The Purple Flex is softer and less firm than the standard mattress with extra layer of foam. I can feel the difference when I lay on my son's mattress vs mine and the extra $300 is well worth it! The mattress has a cooling agent. The thick Harmony pillow offers perfect back support when lounging around in bed (writing this review and watching TV!) The flat Dreamweaver is perfect for actually sleeping. My only complaint is that the Dreamweaver has a mild funky smell. The mattress is pretty easy to roll out and didn't need much assembly (we didn't pay for installation). The stretchy linens are super comfy and worth the splurge and received a great bundle discount on the pillows and linens. Shout-out to Jorge at the store, who was friendly and super helpful with scoring some great deals! Highly satisfied customer and recommend Purple if you're looking for a great goodnight sleep!

There was no way I turn that offer down and is why they earned my business that day. Fast forward to delivery, and the experience was flawless. It's my second Murphy bed from the terrific Rob Myers, owner of the More Space Place in Chantilly, Va. (The first one lasted 21 years of daily use). Even with an injured rotator cuff, I have no problem pulling down and putting up the new bed. The mattress is really comfy (choices are firm or plush). Their installers are top-notch, and creatively solve problems of tricky interiors. They also do all sorts of other custom cabinetry and built-ins, but all I needed was a place to sleep. I've known Rob since 2004 and he is terrific. I've recommended him to a half-dozen friends who are equally pleased with the results. I can't say enough good things about him and his crew.

When I checked out on my last trip, the young gentleman at the register kept yawning and barely acknowledged me -- it came across as lacking basic manners and customer service. To make matters worse, a picture frame I bought turned out to be damaged in the corner when I unwrapped it at home. When I brought it back to return, the sales associate spoke to me in an accusatory tone and insisted that I had damaged it. I explained that I discovered the damage only after opening the packaging, but she refused to accept the return. Thankfully, I asked to speak with the Manager, who checked my receipt, realized I had purchased it just the day before, and resolved the situation professionally. I appreciated the manager stepping in, but the interaction should never have escalated to that point. Glad it was ultimately corrected, but the sales associate definitely needs better training in communication, customer courtesy, and how to handle returns without blaming customers.

Anyway...while he was at his appt., I decided to walk around the shopping center (FairLakes Promenade). I had seen Home Sense before but never got around to checking it out. Finally, got to do that today. At first glance, it looked like it was a furniture store. Yes, they have lots of furniture but a deeper look showed there was so much more. There are towels, bedding, kitchen utensils, household cleaning items, rugs and decorative items. My intention was just to look not buy. However, when I saw the food items, I realized that I needed a shopping cart. Things that caught my eye...imported pasta, pasta sauces, spices, sweets and a cleaning formulation for shower doors and mirrors. Truthfully, there were other items that attracted me but I exercised will power. For example, I saw a lovely vase but my sensible side said "we don't need another vase." There was artwork but sensible side said "We have enough of that and only so much wall space". When I went to check out, the cashier was friendly. I found out, when he tried to get me to sign up for a credit card, that they are part of a conglomerate that includes TJ Maxx. No, we don't need another credit card! My haul ended up costing $35 plus change. Once we were home, I showed my husband my haul. He asked what it cost and was pleasantly surprised. Aw, gee! I'm so proud of myself :D So, no regrets for paying Home Sense a visit!
