My recent experience with Ashley Furniture at the Restaurant Row location in Houston/Katy has left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied. As my family and I embarked on the journey of furnishing our new home, we had high hopes for finding quality furniture and a positive customer experience. However, our visit to Ashley Furniture shattered those expectations entirely. Upon entering the store, we were immediately drawn to a beautiful sofa that seemed perfect for our living room space. Excitedly, we explored the various payment options presented to us: monthly financing or a cash payment with a generous discount. Opting for the latter, we made our purchase, including a 5-year warranty for damages and white glove delivery. Sadly, the troubles began as soon as the delivery team arrived at our home. Far from the promised "white glove" service, the delivery was marked by disrespect and carelessness. The team traipsed through our home with dirty shoes, blasted loud music, and showed a complete disregard for our property, causing damage to our door frames in their rush to complete the delivery in one trip. To make matters worse, upon unpacking the furniture, we discovered that our sofa was riddled with flaws. The wood frame was broken, resulting in visible holes and scratches on the fabric. The cushion covers and pillows were stained and dusty, indicating poor storage conditions prior to delivery. This was not the quality we expected from a reputable furniture retailer like Ashley Furniture. Seeking a resolution, we contacted our sales representative, Alex Castillo, to be met with a shocking response: "ALL SALES ARE FINAL." It was disheartening to learn that this crucial information was buried in the fine print of our receipt, conveniently disclosed only after the purchase was made. The lack of transparency in Ashley Furniture's business practices is concerning and undermines the trust of customers in our community. Despite our efforts to find a solution, the customer support team remained adamant about their no-return policy, leaving us stuck with a broken sofa that didn't even fit our living room space. Even when presented with the opportunity to exchange for a larger sofa at a higher price, we encountered resistance and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. The final blow came during a conversation with a store manager, who callously remarked, "This is a million-dollar company, if you don't buy again, someone else will." Such dismissive attitudes towards customer concerns are unacceptable and reflect a lack of respect for the community Ashley Furniture serves. In the aftermath of this ordeal, I cannot recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone with good conscience. While their furniture may appear beautiful, the lack of transparency, poor customer service, and refusal to address legitimate concerns have deeply disillusioned me. I sincerely hope that Ashley Furniture will reconsider its policies and prioritize honesty, respect, and customer satisfaction. Our community deserves better. read more

Ashley furniture are thieves crooks and liars do not shop at the store. I bought a leather sofa from them in 2013 and paid for the extended warranty for the couch when my pet damaged it by scratching the leather. Ashley would not honor the warranty claiming that it had to be a human the damaged it and not a pet. it did not state that state that anywhere in the warranty so in other words they weaseled out of having to fix my couch for the $170 warranty that I paid for on top of the $600 for the couch. In addition my parents bought a TV dresser from them and the delivery guys either drop it in the warehouse or dropped it on the truck either way it was cracked on the bottom when we got it and when we noticed it and call them out on it they claimed that no such thing had happened and that it had to be our fault they sent a guy out here to repair it because the bottom drawer was broken because of the damage from the drop and they never actually quite repaired it today my parents are having to drive to Ashley furniture once again to get the TV set stand repaired after two years of having the drawer broken. To make a long story short dealing with Ashley furniture is not worth the time or the money it's always going to be a debacle just read the other reviews on yelp if you don't believe me these people are crooks thieves and liars and they will actively swindle you just to make a few extra dollars they're not a reputable furniture store although they do have nice furniture they don't take care of their customers they treat you like shit and do not understand the word loyalty therefore they should be out of business. read more

Update: I have not seen my $5000 refund and it's been a month. Y'all do not answer calls and all y'all do is lie. I am currently working on filing a class action federal lawsuit against Ashley furniture. Im posting this same exact message to everyone reviews online. So far I have 96 people that I have responded to with this same message. I am coming against you crooks. I will spend an hour a day replying to bad reviews online with this message. I will NOT stop. I will make it my business to spend an hour a day working on this lawsuit. I hope you take this review seriously because it's going to be BIG. Went to Ashley's with my wife yesterday afternoon. As my wife and I were talking and discussing about buying furniture for our living room, we were approached by Candy, one of the sales associates. She came up to my wife and said, "I apologize my Spanish is not as good as your English..." First of all, both my wife and I were born in this country and we speak both languages fluently and English is even our dominant language and the language we were speaking when she walked up to us. Candy proceeded in humiliating us by telling my wife, "You're doing good speaking English, (as if my wife just crossed over), but if you need a sales associate who speaks Spanish, please let me know." My wife never felt so belittled and humiliated in her life. We were ready to pay cash for a living room set, yet one of our main purchasing decisions was how uncomfortable we felt there. read more

Jay greeted my wife and I as soon as we walked in and continued helping us for 2+ hours to make sure we found what we were looking for and that we were happy when we left. Update!!!! The beginning of another week since the whole Ashley ordeal has started. Never got my furniture as promised. Requested a refund nearly a month ago. I've been contacted by a customer service rep saying that she sent in a request on my behalf for the refund and that was 2 weeks ago. I've emailed to get an update and have heard NOTHING. Lets see what they do if a camera crew and consumer reporter show up at their store. read more

I had an issue with my order and was not a happy customer to a point where I wanted to cancel my whole transaction. The clerks brought my concerns to the sales manager James and Andy. They took the time to hear my concerns with professionalism they offered to make it right and went above what I expected them to do. I just bought a mattress & box spring from here. The salesman, Rick Shepherd, was great. He is knowledgeable & friendly. The sales people there were very nice & friendly also. I received my mattress 2 days ago & am very pleased. The delivery men were courteous & friendly. A great experience. If I need more furniture I will go back and shop at Ashley Furniture. They are rip off's and con artist from the sales men to the management. The warranty sucks so don't buy it like I did. The product sucks really bad. High pressure sales.
