Ashley Furniture of course has been in business for many years. The quality of their furniture is great. I've been to this location many times. And have my preferred sales guys that I use. Ask for Ladell or James Dupriest at this location. These two guys definitely know how customers should be treated. They have also come along way with pricing. My recent visit to this location this past week gave me creepy vibes. I understand salespeople have to make money but this one particular guy is too pushy. Even after knowing you're looking for a particular person he tries to tell you that you don't need the person you're looking for you need him. Major downside to coming here. No matter when I walked in he was the same way. I call, and there he is answering. I couldn't get away from. Michael please do better. I, luckily, haven't bought anything here. The customer service was poor enough that it alone drove me away. We've been to this store twice in 3 years. The first time, we were promptly ignored the moment we walked in the door and the sales person seemed completely uninterested in conversing with us. The second time was today and, while we got someone who decently feigned interest in conversing with us, he was extremely pushy and absolutely would not help us look for what we were interested in buying. Additionally, he was not knowledgeable about the products and would give incorrect information to direct questions about materials used. I really wish I could give a better review, but that is not the case. The Sunday after Thanksgiving we bought a new bed. It was a big ticket for me, but as I was in line for not 1, but 2 cervical spine surgeries we felt it was important. Kyle was great, helped us navigate the experience, explained everything. Delivery was scheduled for the week before surgery. The bed was delivered as scheduled, however the gentleman who setup the bed ran out as soon as they were done, without asking any questions or making sure the adjustable bases even worked. The bases work, but they set the beds to the full height making it nearly impossible to get in bed. I have contacted Kyle, the store and the claims number, but here I am 4 days post surgery unable to get in and out of bed because the bed is so damn high and I cannot fix it on my own. read more

Bar stools I purchased in the store in August were twice as much as they were online. Salesperson told me she would throw in protection plan and free delivery. When I saw bill the stools were unassembled and I was charged for protection plan. This has been the most horrific experience of my life. I would not recommend this store and I am mad at myself for not checking reviews before going there. They rate 1.2 stars and trust me that's the service that you get. Mike Brown is a fast talker and he'll say and do anything to make a sale. I bought from him a dresser, bed, temperpedic adjustable mattress and frame, headboard and footboard that looked in the store the color gray, and I asked several times if it was gray (questioned the lighting) because their lighting it looked gray. He called over several other sales people to confirm that the color was in gray. I ordered the bed it gets to my house and it's beige. So I called him to ask if that came in two colors, beige and gray and that what I received look beige and he was very rude very condescending because he's made the $5000 sale now he doesn't care. He completely ignored the fact that I asked him several times if it was going to be gray because that is the color of my room decor and he said the bed is gray however it is not! The delivery guys were awesome, and even though it was not their fault that this man lied to me (I learned today that it comes in ONE color shade) to make this sale. When you see a rating of 1.2 stars believe it. I hate I didn't check first. I told him my decor was gray. The bed gets to my house and it is beige. Why does it take so long to have repairs done to my recliner? Ashley's furniture Longview is not the place to get new furniture. Ashley's departments don't streamline together. First, is the walk-in and deal with salesperson. Second, the sale is made and people at the store has your money. they don't deal with you anymore. I paid extra for the warranty too. Third, you think you are calling the store's number and you get somewhere else. I got my chair in Dec 2023. It would take the following year to get repairs. Luckily, I had figured out how to fix the first thing that went wrong. Found it weird that the Ashley store needed to ship repair parts to my apartment before the repairmen would arrive at my apartment. Now I got this big weighty box of whatever, I haven't open yet in the livingroom. Dec 18, I noticed my chair had another problem, something I definitely needed help fixing. I called and got a friendly voice. They had me send pictures via text messages and a work order was made. Jan 7, I am wondering when will the repairers make their way to my place to fix my chair. I got the corporate office this time, same number dialed. I was informed that the first work order was not entered correctly. New work order was filed with another later date of them getting here to fix my chair. At the same time of THIS, I'm getting texted the SAME protocol. what the heCK? The customer is supposed to confirm that a solution is in the works and I am not able to confirm. The same protocol comes up: "Hi you need help" "Let us help you" "Send pictures via text". AGAIN RIDICULOUS. How do you not have my furniture's serial number in YOUR records? Why do I have to flip my chair over to find the serial number to give to you? Ridiculous. I went and bought a handful of items for a new house recently. One of the items was a queen bed set. I was delivered that bed with no feet. Let me be clear for those who didn't get that the first time: Ashley delivered a bed WITHOUT THE FEET. You know what that's like? That's like buying a new car and having it delivered without tires.... Stick with me...it gets better! Then I got the feet in the mail (12 business days later) ready for the delivery people to install them. DO NOT SHOP HERE! They are such a scam. I recently went with my grandmother to re-purchase items that we went to another location for but unfortunately had the same issue happen to us. We worked directly with Evan Corn who we made aware of our horrible experience at a previous location and was reassured it would be different with him. We genuinely thought he would look out for our best interest throughout the transaction. We simply reordered some items and when we were done, he wanted to add on a mattress protector for us stating that it would be $12 (when Bedgear is usually $100+) in installments with our credit card that we had gotten previously approved for through Ashely. It was too good to be true, but he repeatedly told us that it would ONLY be $12 and I made a joke stating that I could pay that cash and take it home however I couldn't because it was part of a promotion since we were financing. Well, just like our previous one experience, the same thing happened when it came to delivering our products. We scheduled the delivery AND confirmed it only for them to text the morning of our scheduled delivery: It's Ashley Homestore! Are you ready to schedule your order? Reply 1 to schedule. Reply 2 to exit. Reply STOP at anytime to opt out of these messages. Like this was already confirmed for delivery, why am I getting this text? Do they not realize that we have to take the day off of work in order to accommodate for these deliveries since Ashley cannot even provide a schedule timeframe for it? I proceeded to call the store to reach Evan numerous times and every time he apparently was with a customer therefore we cancelled the entire order! I came to bring back the mattress protector which had not even been opened/ used and they denied me stating that things like this cannot be returned. I am incredibly upset and unsatisfied with my experience at Ashley Furniture store. I first started being a customer in 2015 and my experience back then was already disappointing. The prices are fair, the quality of the furniture is okay if you don't expect to keep the furniture for 5+ years, but the customer service and sales tactics are unbelievably dishonest. I must have forgotten what happened back then, because I made the mistake of buying furniture from them again only to be tricked by a sales person and then not have my furniture delivered on time. The sales person first offers me a $3000 mattress (the most expensive option at the store, and that I didn't buy) instead of trying to offer me more affordable options, which already gave me the wrong impression. When I go to make a payment for the items I did purchase, he promises me a huge discount, which later after looking at my receipt, he added all of the "discount" back into the furniture protection plan price, so there really was no discount. He never offered me a delivery only option (which is free), but instead automatically added a $150 "white glove installation fee" which I didn't need. All of this was purchased on the 4th of July, while their website was running a sale. I was never offered a 4th of July discount at the store, so my purchase ended up being more expensive than what it would have been if I just made the purchase online. And then, it gets better! I'm promised a delivery date at the time of the purchase, I call to confirm it, and the customer representative promises me they will deliver it on the same day that we had previously agreed on. And now, 2 days before my delivery date, 2/3 of my items are on back order and don't exist! How fun is that? Customers beware of the sketchy and dishonest sales practices at Ashley Furniture. I didn't pay much attention as my observation was heading the wrong direction. Not surprised that I was right and the sales associate now quoted me double of what I was told. I let him know that John quoted me a different price and rudely cut me off and said, "Just tell me how much he told you". He left to get John and returned with the store manager. When I shop, I dress comfortably and not glamorous. I dress for comfort and not for show. That's when you know if the store treats customers fairly. The store manager should receive training to treat all customers who walks in that door fairly. Never judge someone based only on what you see on the outside or only on what you perceive. He probably didn't think I had money to spend. I have so much respect for my parents that I didn't want to make a scene. This manager spoke to me as if I was at fault and a stupid kid. Sir, I may look very young, but I am in my late 40's. Professional and successful. It clearly explains why most of the reviews here are very similar. Imagine having a store manager as incompetent like the one I dealt with. He just let a good customer leave like it was going to be the customer's loss. He couldn't even look at me on our way out. The fact that he did not even try to talk to me and see what he could have done. Instead, he told us to just leave and take my business elsewhere. DO NOT USE ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!! Their products are made overseas, so there is a very slim chance of even getting the product to the warehouse, let alone delivered to you! I have been sitting on a back order slip for 5 months! I ordered a reclining leather couch and loveseat in December so that my guests would have a place to sit on Christmas day. The order, however, was delayed. It is now April! I have gone in every 2-3 weeks to inquire of a status and I get the same answer: "It will be 2 weeks from now. You can take it to the bank! That date is set in stone!" When the delivery date comes, it's, "We are so sorry, but your furniture will be here in 2 weeks!" I was also told that if I had ordered a different set, they would have been delivered months ago. So we are still in this nightmare of disbelief!!! We decided to go back to the store and try to reselect a couch that at least could be in the warehouse ready for delivery just to get out of this nightmare of waiting. We moved from out state to an empty house with 3 little kids and to be told that our couch, bed are going to take over 6 months for delivery after being falsely informed is BEYOND MISLEADING! We walked the entire showroom and there was nothing available for delivery. Everything in their showroom is wait time MONTHS UNKOWN. The sales gentleman mentioned that he had lost over $30,000 worth of commission sales because customers were coming in to cancel their order. He also mentioned that they have a regional manager that comes in once a month and blames everything on Covid but that no one truly knows what's going on and that in all his years of sales he had never worked in such a shady company such as this one. SHIPPING DELAY OF MONTHS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH COVID THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING PAST 2018 GOOGLE ALL THE REVIEW DATES. While I was at the showroom I meet a lady who was there trying to pick another dinning table set since she had purchased her original one in May 2021 and there we were Dec 29th still no table set. Same as me she looked all around and nothing in the showroom was available for her immediately so whether you change your order or not, you will still be waiting for months! I did exchange numbers with this client and have also communicated with two other clients in the Woodland area who are in the same position. WAITING(OVER 4-5 MONTHS) and being lied to with no furniture. We are now taking Legal action(myself and three other clients) since this furniture store has chosen to continue operations by falsely misleading clients and not allowing them to make a decision with their purchase and time length of delivery. Not to mention the emotional stress and physical back pain from waiting to have somewhere to sit on. Since then and currently today WE ARE STILL BEING LIED TO. Last week we were told our bed railings would be coming in January 8th, 2022(we were told this for 3 straight days) and now yesterday it changed to March 2022. So 5 months to have bed railings delivered! We are mentally exhausted at this point and therefore made the decision of Legal Action, this company misleads clients.
