I pulled up reviews on this place before going and whew! I was ready to change my whole game plan on buying furniture, but since this location is close I figured I'd stop in JUST to see what they offered and what their prices were. We ended up being approached by William who turned out to be such a great staff member. He wasn't a pushy sales guy like most and in fact, he went above and beyond our expectations to help us find the perfect kitchen table and sectional. We probably looked at every table twice and he was always there to help with measurements, information, and suggestions. At one point he even walked halfway across the store to grab a bench from another set that we thought might look great with a different table we matched up with. Next, was our very tedious search for the perfect sectional that would fit in our oddly shaped living room. I was so picky and selective throughout the whole process that I even began to feel bad that he got stuck with us, but he only continued to offer his best suggestions and continue to give us his best service. Once we had everything picked out, I brought up my concerns of the bad reviews of the delivery companies they use and the horrible mistakes and issues we had previously read about. William offered his honest advice on how to go forward with any issues that MAY occur with any damaged items on arrival etc. We kept this information on hand when the delivery service arrived and much to our surprise, everything was smooth sailing with no issues at all. Ultimately, I am so glad we went in for our own experience rather than going off everyone else's. The furniture was exactly what we were looking for, great quality, and we were so thankful for our 10/10 experience with this store. If you are worried after reading the bad reviews, at least just go in the store to see what they have. You don't have to buy anything if you don't see anything you don't like. Trying to get a refund on your Warrenty that i was told was 100% refundable 5years ago when I purchased it is now only available as a store credit. Then I get told it can't be used on online sales. I filed a complaint with BBB since I had been treated unfairly by their customer service. I am almost 76 years old and have had 3 back surgeries, neck surgery and surgery on both feet! I must have a comfortable mattress to rest my body! I bought a firm TemperPedic but it was too hard, so it was exchanged for a Medium one which is still too hard for my body! I want to exchange it for a softer TemperPedic which is more expensive than the one I originally bought but customer service gives me a case number then won't follow up on it. I was told in one of my numerous phone calls that an exchange would be made shortly! This has never happened to date! They say I signed a paper that says only 1 exchange but I don't recall this and even if I did, the signature was on a 5X8 Ipad screen and who can read the really small print?! I do not recommend Ashley Furniture for a restful night of sleep! Their store employees leave me standing when I asked for a supervisor, then went and helped another customer! I purchased the Blairhurst bedroom set at the Pearland, Texas location in November 2025 and scheduled a delivery date of 12/19/25. I was also told by the salesman that upon delivery the bed would be assembled for me. From the day of purchase all the way up to the day of delivery I received countless communications via email and text telling me how to prepare for the delivery (which I appreciate). On the day of delivery, the delivery mana told me that there were no bedrails but he would be back tomorrow. I didn't understand why no one contacted me to tell me this (considering all the previous communications) but I said ok. The delivery man assured me that he would be back the next day with the bedrails and will assemble the bed. The next day, on 12/20/25 the morning came and went so I called the store to get some type of assistance and clarity. I spoke with some who gave me the phone number to Ashley's Solution Expert hotline. I called and spoke with someone named Gillian and I explained what happened. When she pulled up my order in the system she informed me that there wee no bedrails on the order. Furthermore, she told me that the bed rails are a separate purchase and the salesman should have explained that. Obviously, I told her that wasn't what was explained to me and I also told her that the delivery man assured me that he would be coming back the next day with the rails to assemble the bed. Gillian was as confused as I was. I asked her how could the delivery man say he's coming back when there were no bedrails on the order? She had no answer. Gillian moves forward with contacting the warehouse and putting in an expedited recovery order. She says the warehouse will contact Ashley's to notify them of the error and someone from Ashley's will contact me within 24 hours. I confirmed with Gillian that it would be a call back in 24 hours and reminded her that the next day was Sunday. She assured me that they will still call me even though it's a Sunday. As of today, it has been over 24 hours and I have yet to receive a call from anyone at Ashley Furniture. I have no confidence that this issue will be resolved any time soon but I will continue to try to get resolve. This is by far the worth customer service experience I have ever had!!!! read more

I didn't purchase from this particular store, but it is the closest one to me so they get the glowing review. My purchase was made online at Ashleyfurniture.com a nightmare from the second I pressed submit. I chose to use their card for 24 months no interest. I got 24 months at 9.99 interest... why would I choose something like that!? Let me say my credit score is close to 800, so it was not a credit issue. I would just pay cash, I would not use a card that charged interest!! So, I called synchrony and they couldn't do anything, called Ashley and they were, for lack of a better word to describe this, incompetent. So, I had to pay the he entire order over $2k in one payment, in order to avoid interest and close the account. Still salty about that, should have gone to Gallery Furniture. Nice store, the structure of furniture cheap. I'm not sure why dining tables lack 100% wood. This was a significant issue. Although the material quality is essential, that is not why this store gets a low star rating. I felt ignored when I walked into the store. Once the sales clerk realized I wanted to purchase something, I immediately felt pressured to buy from them, which made my experience extremely uncomfortable. She guided us to recliners that were even better than what we were initially looking for, and answered all of our questions. She got the order placed, including a tentative delivery date (since we're not sure yet when the new home will be ready). Sini was friendly and professional, very helpful in finding what we needed. I normally don't make reviews, but the lengthy and partial delivery process everyone is stating is true, them saying items are in stock but they actual aren't is true and items received being defected is true. I placed an order for a dining room table and chairs set from your Pearland location. The salesperson who assisted me, Mr. Levi had added furniture onto my order that I did not request. He also lied and stated I would be given a discount and free warranty on the furniture. I assumed the pricing of everything was more than what I calculated online because of taxes delivery and assemble fees. However after reviewing my paperwork with my husband when I got home, I realized all of the errors that were on my paperwork that he purposely added on there so he could make commission off a sale. I felt like I was scammed and taken advantage of as a customer. I was confused as to why he was rushing me to sign without allowing me to read over my documents in the process. After calling customer service, I was transferred to Levi who advised me to come back into the store tomorrow to correct the order and resign documents. During the conversation not once did he ever take accountability or even apologize for what he did!!! After work I immediately went back to the store the next day and got everything corrected. When there I noticed the original salesperson Mr. Levi was not there and I was directed to a lady in the back of the showroom by another salesperson. While there I asked her when will my furniture arrive just to see if the information Mr. Levi had given me during the initial purchase would remain consistent. And not to my surprise, I found out he had lied AGAIN! She stated my order would not arrive till mid January. I became infuriated all over again. I argued with her that the salesperson guaranteed me that my order would arrive before Christmas which is the ONLY REASON I decided to make the purchase in the first place!!! She apologized and said my table was in stock but the chairs are on back order and the delivers won't deliver pieces at a time. They'll wait until all of the furniture in the order arrives before they deliver. A few weeks difference I was okay with (I just decided to cancel my Christmas event at my new home); HERE WE ARE ALMOST 4 MONTHS LATER AND I STILL DONT HAVE MY FURNITURE!!!!!! Every week when I text the crappy customer care line, I get informed that my order is further and further delayed. Again after Ashley's furniture following up on the review I posted on Yelp. They continue to not resolve the issue. I highly doubt stores have informed customers how much of their product line is currently unavailable because 'it is somewhere in a container in the water awaiting arrival, then customs clearance and finally a trucker to transport it to their local warehouse'. We will of paid off our purchase before our furniture had even been completely fulfilled. And the best resolution the customer service can provide is 'sorry, supply chain issues' or 'go to your store and see what they can do for you (which customer service has no influence or control over). I called them following day and they said that my order is backorder so they dont have it right now (I PAID 1 MONTH UP FRONT) I asked them to cancel my order and they said i had to pay 15% restocking fee??? Do Not Buy from Ashley Furniture!!! I purchased the Dorset love seat and Dorset sofa from this location at the end of November 2019 on Black Friday, and I still don't have my furniture. I will say that the shopping experience with Reuben, the sales associate, was pleasant, but once I left the store the customer service plummeted.  My furniture was supposed to arrive on Dec 27, 2019, but the order was delayed until Jan 11, 2020. The warehouse didn't even call me. I learned this after several back and forth phone calls with customer care. I called the store and spoke with Matthew, a store manager, about the delay. He could only confirm that the order had been delayed, but couldn't give a reason. What an inconvenience!  I had planned my holiday events, moved my old furniture out, and scheduled assistance with the living room arrangements, according to the Dec delivery date. I decided to apply patience and still deal with the company. I received a text message this week that my items would be delivered on 1/11/20 between 10a and 1p. We worked last night and this morning to clear areas for the new furniture to be moved.   On today (1/11/20) at 11am, I recieved a text message stating that the delivery truck would arrive at my home within 15 minutes. Time passed... No truck.....so I called the customer care dept at 12pm and was told that the truck would arrive by 1p. Time passed... No truck... so I called the customer care line again at 1:45p. I was told that the warehouse manager cancelled my order because the love seat had been delayed until 1/20/2020. No one from the warehouse or the customer care department had called me. Customer care advised me to speak with the store about the mishap.  I called the store numerous times to speak with a manager, but I kept being placed on hold or sent to voice mail. I drove to the store today and spoke to Ronnie Wilson, a store manager. He informed me that the sofa was available, but the love seat would be delayed until 2/20/20, not 1/2020. I thought and asked, "Why didn't they deliver the sofa ?!" He couldn't provide any answers on what happened at the warehouse today. I spoke on how dissatisfied I was, he offered a little discount, and I respectfully declined the offer. Overall, he didn't seem really concerned. I asked him to cancel my order.  Ashley Furniture, it's disheartening that an international company such as yours, would provide such poor customer service. My expereince with your company has been horrid. I've been inconvienced and disrespected to the utmost. I'm a verified human and not computer so getting started. The experience with buying from Ashley has been horrible and that's being very nice. The salesmen where straight shooters so no issues with front of house but the back of the house needs to be re-organized. I go into the store and their system tells me their is over 40 items of a couch 4 days before my delivery date so you would think, 4 days before my delivery date you will get 2 of the 40 available items rights; good one. Turns out on my delivery my 2 couches are not on the truck but mine you 3 people said I would get my item say they have products available then 2 weeks before you are to call to verify deliver and times and get hit with your product is out of stock like they never reserve this product for you. if it wasn't for Chelsea at the warehouse off 45 i would of given this negative stars. but whom ever is her manager, promote her as her customer service was top tier! Monica deserves 6 stars!! We moved our son from Ohio to Texas with little time to outfit an apartment. Monica spent 4 hours with us non-stop and we worked through the entire process together. She even read apartment floor plan to ensure furniture was appropriate. Monica was fabulous to work with and as a result we purchased everything we needed. When there was a minor delivery glitch, Monica and her manager Thomas had everything worked out as we traveled to Texas. I am completely satisfied with our experience. read more

I have a $10k limit with @AshleyHomeStore @AshleyHomeHelp and I do not care if they were the last furniture store on this side of Heaven, they will get not one red cent from me.. so the store tells me I have to call corporate. I call corporate tell them store including about the GC.. they keep me on the phone for 45 mins for that rep to tell me they can approve the same $250 GC that the store approved. Trying to tell me it's something with my finance company and they can't credit my account... these folks are a bunch of idiots. This place is so hit and miss. I purchased several items in July 2017. I was highly unimpressed with the quality but that was on me since I shopped online. November 2018 I go into the store and purchase a couch, rocker, end table and 2 lamps. January 2019 I'm still waiting for the floor lamp. After several calls and an unanswered message I finally get someone on the phone who tells me the lamp can be delivered the next day (after trying to get me to go pick it up) BUT I have to actually go into the store to have it delivered to my home rather than the original delivery address. I MIGHT understand this if I wanted it to go to some random address but I wanted it shipped to the address on my Ashley Credit Card. But no, I have to be further inconvenienced by their asinine requirement that I travel to the store to get my much delayed delivery even after I had to hunt down info on it in the first place. This furniture store has zero customer service once you receive your furniture. You are basically screwed. I purchased a sofa chaise which was supposed to have 8 legs. It only came with 4. We bought some bedroom furniture from them earlier in the year. We were told we could get 25% if we bought with them that day. We told them we would walk around and look before deciding. When we told them we wanted to buy, the salesman said his manager can only give me 20% off because we left the store (we never did). I told him we will leave then and he said he has to ask his manager if he can still give us 25% off. He came back and said fine. I wish we just walked out because we have had nothing but trouble since. He also told us we would get the furniture in 3 weeks. However we did not get everything shipped until after nearly 4 months. We would continuously get notifications that they will deliver our furniture. We even confirmed the date multiple times. But each time the delivery was rescheduled. Half the time they didn't even let us know. We would be sitting at home and not make any plans because we were expecting our delivery. So I would call to complain every time. I would always ask to speak to a manager (at least 4 times) and I never got a call back. One of their customer service agents even accused me of lying and told me they left a voicemail that they are rescheduling but they never did. The last customer service agent who scheduled the actual delivery date told me he would give me a $100 credit to our account because of all the trouble we had. But when we went to make another purchase at the store they said they could not find it. They said they will look into it and get back to me. They never did. So I emailed a customer service agent and they never responded until I followed up again the next week. And all they said is they don't see any appprovla for the credit and will notate that a manager never contacted us. I understand things are delayed with the pandemic, but what I don't appreciate are the lies, unkept promises, accusations and the amount of time I wasted. We paid for a bedroom set and a couch on 5-11-2020. The bedroom set was delivered on 5-19-2020 and the bed frame broke tonight (6-5-20) the rails under the mattress broke right off and our mattress fell through it! So I'm currently writing this review while laying on my living room floor! The couch was supposed to be delivered on 5-28-2020 which was already kind of a long wait. On 5-26-20 I get a text CONFIRMING that my couch will be delivered 5-28. I call the delivery company and they say the delivery has been delayed until 6-16-20 and that they're very sorry no one called me and that someone will be in contact with me with in 24 hours to see about getting me a couch ASAP. 24 hours pass by no one calls so I call them and the lady who answers this time has a very different attitude. She tells me that someone did call me to tell me about the delay and I tell her they didn't, she says yes they did and there's nothing they can do. I just hung up on her why argue? At this point My husband and I are sitting on lawn chairs in the living room like freakin Jessie Pinkman when he was on crack! So we decided we wanted a couch ASAP and found one available immediately at Cox furniture but before we can get it we have to get our money back for the Ashley couch so we call and call and each time we're left on hold for over 30 minutes w no answer. This is about Ashley Furniture store.I wanted some reasonably good furniture to last for a few years. I purchased a dining room set a year and a half ago and a bunk bed about 6 months ago. One of the chairs broke and the bunk bed pretty much dis​in​te​grat​ed around 2 of the screws. I contacted Ashley Furniture, you are reading this post because they gave me the run around. I feel like, if I would have, purchased some Furniture from a mom and pop store if was worth more than this Furniture. It might have broke, become damaged, but I will expected but not want it to break.. So if you want good furniture, do not shop at Ashley Furniture. They said you cannot move the bed or you will break it and someone leaned back in it to it is not a manufacturing problem. This is nonsense. To me I believe the screws were over screwed. I remember a particular noise of extra rotate when the furniture was installed. I know for sure that would make wood split. Even if the wood was good wood ( it that is what it is) look like it is pressed pieces of wood compacted together, it would split like that. KEEP YOUR MONEY. read more

I am just so frustrated I don't even know where to begin. I ordered my couch at the end of May from the Ashley Pearland location. I was initially told my sectional would arrive 06/27/20. I wait at home, no delivery, no update from anyone. I call/text my sales lady named Alice, no response. I give it a few days and I go up to the store. A manager up there tells me that it will be July before my delivery. I wait again at home, no delivery, no update from anyone. I call/text my sales lady again, no response. This goes on for for MONTHS. I even try calling 18773148457 and I wait on hold for over 45 min each time. I'm always given a date in the future, I wait at home, no delivery, I call, I wait at home, no delivery, I try to reach my sales person NO LUCK! A few days ago synchrony bank reaches out to me and tells me that I have a bill coming due! I asked them for what and they said that the store told them I had received part of my couch!? I said no I have NOT! And Synchrony was nice enough to stop the bill. Well on Friday 09/25/20 @ 11:15 am i get a text from my sales person asking me to come back in and re-sign my financing contract. She asked me had I received part of my sectional and I responded, no I have not received any of my sectional. I don't even know what's going on. I ask her what happens now? When will I receive it? Do I still need to come in and sign? She goes quiet. Then at 12:13pm I receive an automated text from Ashley HomeStore congratulating me on my purchase!??? I text my sales person to see what is going on and of course NO RESPONSE! I then call 18773148457 and they said that someone at the store had me on layaway status and restarted my contract without me even being present in the store! WELL THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW! I immediately call the store directly and tell them to just cancel the whole thing with no restocking fee (because there was nothing to restock! And plus, my financing lapsed because it had been over 90 days anyways!) The gentleman at the store said he would send me something in writing to my email, but i still don't have anything in writing! I would like something in writing stating that I no longer have anything purchased with Ashley Furniture. I wish that I could give zero stars. My delivery was scheduled and changed three times. It was suppose to arrive today between 215-515. Its been over a month now I've been waiting. I check the tracking link and it updates to say they are on number 9 of the route and I'm number 12. The scheduled arrival time is 330-4. At 325 I check. They are on number 13 and delivery status unknown! I call the store. I was told that not only was it put on the wrong truck, but also that my stuff would not be delivered until Saturday. This makes the 4th change! I tried to escalate and was told there's no number available for a Regional Manager. I am beyond words and would recommend not doing business with them at this time. read more

I called before going out to the store. Talked to Brandon. Gave him the item number and asked if they had it in stock before driving out there. He said YES. He lied! Drive out there and they did not have it. He even started another lie by saying it was in back. That they replaced it with an upgraded model on the showroom floor (which they did not as the model he showed me had less features). So I said let me get the one in back. I should've read the reviews. They told me that my purchase would be here today. When I realized I had not received any update. I called the store only to be placed on hold..ALL DAY LONG. I drove across town to the store only to be informed that the date I was given was an estimated date. (Took off for nothing.) They apparently cannot promise an actual date... so I guess I'll be waiting until next year. More to come.. read more

Very disappointed. My elderly mother-in-law purchased a power lift chair from this store along with a Protect All protection plan in September 2019. The chair stopped working this past February so she called the store. After waiting on hold for an extended period of time she finally got to talk to a person and they said a technician would contact her within 24-48 hours. That period passed without a call so she called them back and went through the process again with the same results. She has issues with her hearing so I tried to call for her and got the same results twice. We had gaps between calls due to frustration and life but we tried the whole process again a week ago and they finally gave us an email address Grtphoto@ashleydsg.com and instructions to video the chair not working etc.. I did this and sent in the email. Five days later Marlene Davis with Ashley Home Store emailed me back and said that it wasn't covered under the store warranty, since it had been more than a year since the purchase, but she had good news! It should be covered under her Protect All plan that she purchased and she gave me a phone number (800-999-5219) to call. I called Protect All as soon as I received the email. Unfortunately, Jeff at Protect All said that they won't cover it because it had been more than 30 days since she noticed the problem with the chair. I explained that the run around that we had gotten at Ashley Home Store and that we had tried to report the problem but it was a no-go. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they called me back to let me know that they still were not going to cover it because of that technicality. I just emailed Marlene back and I am hoping that we can get some help. BTW the Ashley Home Store in Pearland is not a corporate store so do not just call the Ashley Home Store 877-313-1205 number because they won't know what you are talking about and you will wait on hold for a long time for nothing. read more
