    Kiki the Store Manager is fantastic. Lou helped as well and was extremely kind. We were able to get the bed we wanted with the mattress and extras we were looking for. We had been at a competitor earlier in the day and hadn't felt as confident and as comfortable as we did here. **UPDATE** 12/4/2020 After ordering $2400 worth of stuff in the beginning of September, and after multiple delays for when it would arrive, we finally got our confirmation for a DECEMBER delivery. When it arrived today, multiple pieces were damaged. So the delivery guys tell us that either we can keep it damaged and deal with it, or we can send it back and wait AGAIN for another replacement shipment to arrive! It gets even more ridiculous... When I call any of the 7 different numbers to talk to someone about it, none of the numbers work, or it cuts out or hangs up on me! I'm now trying to text someone from the helpdesk, but all they can tell me is that since this isn't a "corporate" store, I have to contact the store. (the store that doesn't answer the phone). I am so beyond pissed at this point, that I'm lucky this update isn't filled with a bunch of swear words. The delivery people left all the pieces that weren't damaged in boxes on my bedroom floor, blocking my path to the closet and the bathroom, so now we have to do gymnastics in order to use our living space. (I'll attach a photo if possible) HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HORRIBLE PRODUCT, and you can BET this will be my last business dealing with Ashley Furniture. GFY!

    If there was a -10 rating they would earn it. Buyer beware I can't say that enough..the entire chain is just terrible when it come to customer service. Auburn Hills store is a joke. Slick looking stores..fast talking salesman, promises of prompt service.but it's all a lie. And I have heard many stories about them but I loved the sofa so much I ignored them. First you can only communicate through text or e mail. There is no direct customer service..and you are going to get a BOT to start. Jenny..your personal BOT. We bought an expensive leather sectional from them that came defective. They delivered another one that is worse than the first..the seams don't line up across the bottom cushions , the back is uneven..it's an embarrassment. There is a wedge piece and the leather is pulled incorrectly and is not smooth. As soon as the sofa was delivered I got an automated email asking how everything was.,so I told them and sent a series of pictures that clearly showed the defects to the requested number and was informed me they would not exchange the sofa. So we are now stuck with a defective expensive sofa that looks terrible. I tried to text back the two numbers I had from customer service and I have been blocked! The messages are undeliverable with the red exclamation point! Even the text message number where I sent the requested photos is gone! I e mailed asking them to come get the sofa and return my money PLUS the extra $1000 we gave them for extended warranty and have received no answers. Do not buy from them. They do not even have their own repair people. You would assume a company this large has its own repair people. They do not. The first time they sent out one man that is subcontracted from a company in Texas. He services Michigan and Ohio. He was the one who told Ashley it needed to be replaced. Now they won't even send him out. Do not deal with them..

    Cushions they claim is normal wear and tear after one month

    STAY CLEAR from Ashley furniture . The Furniture looks 10 years old after 1 month. At first they replaced the covers. Then it happened again. They claim this is NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. The manager Sharon told us she hadn't heard any complaints about this couch when I asked BEFORE purchasing it. Was scheduled to come months after the 3 month date. No follow up. One year and 5 year warranty that we purchased . Too bad it's normal. How does a company stand behind such a product. Take your money elsewhere. Called customer service over 10 times they don't care. Sad. WILL NEVER SHOP AT ASHLEY AGAIN.

I then drove 30 minutes to the show room to pick out another bed. I was told I would have to pay a "10% restocking fee" This for a cracked frame a it being way to big. I have called the corporate office two different times. I found out the manager of the department I was speaking with had a manager named Deanna. I was told she was to busy to talk to me but that I would still be responsible for the 10% restocking fee. I asked him I could reach Rachel Scott, the owner who does all the commercials. I was given an email address and told she might read a couple. I.got.my statement from their credit card company. It should be $577.94. It is $1504.08!!! I was just told it will take three billing cycles to give me all the credits. I have a couch and ottoman in my living room and a bed and mattress just purchased. All from Gardner White The couch.I just paid off has the back cushions so.out of shape. It looks terrible and it is on ly 2 years old. I am not happy! I refuse to pay the restocking fee! I want my bill corrected ASAP. Oh and I won't even start about how rude the guy from Australia was who said he worked for their credit card company. Rachel Scot...I am waiting for a call from you.     Buyer beware. We normally like to use small and locally owned businesses, and find that they…read moretypically provide superior service. That isn't the case here. Our new mattress was delivered, but the crew refused to take our old mattress and foundation, contrary to what Tarik had told us would happen when we purchased the new set. The installation crew leader was rude, unprofessionally dressed in pajama pants and driving a rental truck, and told us that they could not put the old mattress with into their truck because it had slight staining. He indicated that they were a subcontractor to the store and not employees. You had to look very hard to find a small sweat stain on the mattress, which was their excuse. To make things worse, he then said that they couldn't dispose of the foundation because they only take complete sets of mattresses and foundations. He said that they donate the used mattress to churches, but nothing of this nature was mentioned when we purchased the mattress. Our 12 year old mattress was quite worn out and I can't imaging anyone wanting it - it is ready for the landfill. Basically, we feel that we were lied to by Tarik. Should anything happen that requires a warranty, I no longer trust this store, as my gut feel is they would shirk their responsibility or tell us more lies. We were shopping for two mattresses, but I can tell you that the second certainly won't be purchased from this store.

The daughter who owns her store with her mom was super helpful, giving Recs and letting us try out each mattress. We went to a large mattress store after this and got terrible service and Ended up going right back to Mattresses and beyond to buy our mattress. We love it! Highly recommend.
