I don't even know where to start...I am just so happy with the overall service, patience, price and most of all with my Salesperson Michelle. We came here on a Sunday evening we were greeted by the door by Michelle she was friendly and just told us about their specials going on. She said if we needed any help she would be glad to assist us. We looked around for a bit and couldn't decide between 2 bedroom sets. Michelle went above and beyond and really took her time with us as we kept going back and forth. She was so patient with us and had a great attitude. She worked with our budget and was just an absolute doll. We ended up getting a brand new bedroom set and I couldn't be happier. A few days later I decided that I wanted to change my living room furniture around too so we ended up going back to Michelle and she showed us some great pieces for our living room. We couldn't decide between different tables and accessories. She was so amazing she even moved tables from other models to help us match. I mean I couldn't believe how dedicated she was. We also showed her the color scheme of our house and layout and she offered us some great suggestions. She went over the protection plans they had to offer and just overall everything was so smooth and seamless. I am so grateful for working with such an amazing person as her. She was not pushy what so ever, she was very patient as my Husband and I were going back and forth on a lot of things. My furniture came timely they have an awesome system where they text you to confirm your delivery date and time, they also call to confirm..On the date of delivery you can track your delivery and check the time. The delivery guys were always so nice and set everything up to my liking. We had no issues what so ever and I'm very happy. All in all we had a wonderful experience with Ashley, their furniture and Michelle made our whole experience a fantastic one. If you are looking for furniture I highly recommend you see Michelle she is the Best of the Best!!! I never got the pushy salesman attitude at all. She definitely gave us our space. We purchased a sectional from this store, and was sold a furniture protection plan through ProtectAll. It is to cover accidental damage to materials, cushions, stains etc. We submitted a claim direct to the ProtectAll company, and they are denying the claim and refuse to come and fix/replace our cushion on our sectional. They are stating the damage is manufacturer defect in the threads of the cushion. Ashley Home Store needs to get involved and make this right, or refuse to sell this coverage. read more

The furniture is very cheap my sectional sofa came apart in just about a month and no I do not have any kids nor pets to destroy it. The furniture is just very cheap material and not worth the price at all. Save your coins and go elsewhere where you wont get scammed out your money. Bought Tavani sectional for over $2400.00 . It is supposed to match the cloud sofa. 4 months in, the couch is pulling heavily and the cushions are worn out. I purchased two electric recliner chairs in December of 2016. Recently, one of the motors burned out while the chair was stuck in the recline position. I cannot find the warranty information so I called customer service to get that info. Because of this COVID thing they claimed that their call volume was very high and that I had to leave a voice mail and someone would call me back in 48-96 hours. Here it is, over a week now with no call, so I called again....same garbage. All I want is the information to get the motor replaced so we can sit in the chair!!! Absolutely ridiculous. IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH ANYONE. called the number on the receipt and website. Send you to customer service line which you need to request a call back. IMPOSSIBLE TO GET HELP OVER THE PHONE. We purchased a mattress in store that was delivered to our home. The seller Alex, told us MULTIPLE TIMES that "yes we will take your old mattress to dispose off" and even charge us for the CA RECYCLING FEE. We confirm with him Multiple time that they will take the old mattress. He even told us, just make sure if the old mattress have stain to wrap them in plastic or else they won't take it. DELIVERY DAY COMES AROUND, there was NO Note on the order to take the old mattress. The delivery guy can't do anything which I understand. I called the store. I can't reach them. Talk to customer service 4 times. THEY HUNG UP ON ME TWICE. EVEN said some one from dispatch will called back to coordinate the pick up of the old material "She will call you in a few minutes". I never got the call. There was so many employees at the store and at the customer service counter. WE CANT EVENT REACH ANYBODY. I was looking for a cheap small dining table as a temporary item until I could find what I really wanted- Ashley furniture is not my typical style (nothing wrong with a very Americana style but not my cup of tea). I was looking for a generic table that I wouldn't mind just throwing away. I walked into the store (I will admit I have never stepped foot in any Ashley Furniture store-and never will again). I was greeted by an older Asian gentleman (I use the term gentleman loosely...very loosely). He ask me if he could help me find anything and I stated I was just looking. I found the dining area and did not find what I was looking for...and I was going to head out the door to leave and continue the search at another store. He was following me around the store-creepy (after I stated I did not want help). When her cornered me he asked me yet again if I wanted help-I stated no yet again. He evidently didn't like how I said no and he starts yelling at me in the store-he yells at me "I AM ONLY DOING MY JOB!" he also yelled at me "SOMEONE GOT UP ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE BED!". Before I left I asked to speak to the manager, he realized what I was doing and he hung out and leered at me. While I was speaking to the manager he stayed in close proximity and played on his phone...the manager did apologize and stated that she would speak to him. I doubt she will and frankly I don't care if she does. If poor customer service is not what you are looking for keep on looking for your furnishing needs at another store. The way they do their business is extremely unprofessional. I feel like a fool for not reading their reviews before doing business with them. They're quick to collect your money and tell you your couch will be delivered within a month. Then they call you a week later and reschedule your delivery 3 times in a row within 2 months! And this is all after sending us 1 piece of the couch which arrived broken, all to be sent back. We only received 1 piece of a 3 piece couch. The entire experience was a complete nightmare. Management could care less about resolving the issue. What makes it worst is that the they give you no explanation. Bought the couch late July, received all of the pieces by early October. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

I would not go to Ashley for any home purchases. Especially not the Northridge location. Went there for a mattress and told the lady what we wanted. Not sure if she understood since she didn't speak that good of English, but claimed this is the best mattress for what we needed. Ended up buying a mattress and a topper which was supposed to be a cooling mattress. Spent more than I ever have on a mattress. After 1 week we called to try to return it since we could not sleep at all, very uncomfortable and hot. (Again was suppose to be a cooling mattress with the topper). They sent out a "mattress tech" to see if it was defective. He told us to go to the store to speak with a manager. Went to the store to speak with the manager Taylor and at first she tried to ask why we waited so long to return it. I told her we purchased it on the 8th, it didn't get delivered until the 19th, slept on it for a week, called to return it. They sent out a "mattress tech" on the 29th to determine if it was defective, then he said to wait a couple days so he can file his report and go in to talk to the manager and here we are on the 31st. Since he declared it not defective she said we are unable to return it even tho on the website it states you have 30 days. But I guess each store has their own policy. Real cool. Then her suggestion was to buy a more expensive mattress and I'll get $500 off! Really?!?! Like really, I'm trying to return this and you want me to buy another more expensive mattress. We just walked out. So now we have a mattress that we're not even sleeping on. I will definitely not be going back and will make sure my friends and family and whoever reads this that I strongly hope you do not come here. Congrats Ashley Furniture for taking my money. So I my husband and I came in because Weve been searching for the "Party Time" sofa in white.... and the online chat service told me I could find it in the store or at least have it ordered through them.... We get there and let me say I think Ms angeles was very Kind. But I lost complete trust and became uninterested when she did a bait and switch.... So at first when I was sitting on the sofa, she shared that the sofa was 1,300 because it was on sale.... I was highly interested! And ready to purchase, I just wanted a few minutes to walk around, and see if anything else caught my eye for our home. Anyway I lost all trust in the store, the employee and the transaction when she came to speak with us(my husband and I had returned to the sofa to just make some final decisions and speak about what else we wanted with it)so like I said I lost all interested when she returned saying that it actually wasn't on sale with 40% off, that it was actually like 2,900 and it'd be more with taxes and delivery..... Not only did I loose interest because she pitched the wrong price, but it made wonder " does this employee really know this product, what else might she pitch that isn't correct" And on top of that the sofas are cheaper on the website and the sofa does come in white, just found the sofa by Ashley sold on different websites...... i would prefer to purchase a sofa in store to keep a location in business and to give them the sale... since I work in retail and know how important conversion is.... read more

Horrible !! On day of delivery. The two guys show up. Call me to tell me to come outside to wave them down. Hmmm ok .. address is in the building. So I did and when I got there they started to let me know that. Your couch won't fit in the elevator or the stairway. What? This is a building with o at 100 units. People move in and out all the time. Not to mention my couch and love seat were the same size and I got I in just fine and they took it out the day before with no problem. (I sold it to a family and they got it no problem ). This turned into a nightmare. As they would not deliver it. The delivery guy said "he could lift it over the rail to my door ". But Ashley would not allow him to do that. Then Ashley told me " well we can't leave it with you. It has to be to your apt. Now I'm confused. You can't get it to my unit. But you won't leave it with me. The delivery guy can get it to my unit but you won't let him lift it. The Ashley woman told me and I quote. "You can refer to the order a d come back and chooses something different or smaller. " BP!!!! I don't want anything different I want this one. It s fits in my apartment just fine. I have nothing to do with the stairs of the building. I asked her. What I was suppose to do. I got rid of my furniture yesterday and now have nothing. And that was her answer. Omg what did I get myself into. The delivery guy felt kinda bad for me so he had me sign a waiver (be careful of this because if the item comes damaged before you unwrap it. You just signed it away ) better take my advice and use you left hand (if you are right handed ) and sign someone's else's name wayyyyyy different than yours. Then you can just claim it was not you who signed and that's not your signature or name. Ashley plays very dirty !!!! But I have to pay this guy an extra $100 out of my pocket for him to take it to my building which it took him 5 mins tops. It was so fast and quick. We were all like WTH. (me , partner , apartment maintenance ) hmmm. Why could they not do this in the first place ? This was a horrible experience and I am telling you. Do not come here.
