Several weeks ago, I ordered a couch from Ashley furniture I was going away the following week and asked them if they could hold delivery after explaining that I had a young dog and was worried about leaving her with a dog sitter for the first time and what may happen. As salesman do they pushed me to buying the Warranty and said don't worry about it that would be covered. I thanked them and agreed to the early delivery date. Well, I guess they duped me. The dog did in fact rip a part of the furniture and when I reached out to them to have it repaired, I was told that that's not coverer. After all the good things I've read about Ashley furniture I was incredibly disappointed in they are taking advantage of customers and blatantly lying buyer beware and look somewhere else. next stop Better Business Bureau ! read more

If Zero stars was an option they definitely earned that... especially customer service and the delivery team. I saw another review that I am currently dealing with. The 4 hour window they gave us from 6 am - 10 am when I am not able to receive deliveries before 9. I told them this and they ghosted me. Dealing with this salesperson who was our mode of communicating with the delivery team during this holidays was a hassle. I don't ever advise anyone to shop and get something home delivered with this store. I was going to write about the whole situation but it seems that there is somebody else who did that for me... seems like Ashley's likes having one sale customers because I am not coming back. read more

Terrible customer service! I purchased a sofa and the salesman set up delivery for a couple of days later. I thought the day was perfect. They text me a four hour window for delivery and I made arrangements to be home at that time. Then the difficulties began..the 4 hour window was changed by Ashley (not me) to a time that was not convenient for me. For me to change it back to the original window, or a different day, they wanted to charge me an additional $99. fee. What a scam. I called the store, spoke to the salesman, he gave me another delivery date, then it was changed yet again. I asked for the manager and was told he was in a meeting and would reach out to me. He never did. Called the main customer service line. They set up a new delivery and told me they would waive all delivery fees and a credit would be issued reducing my full amount paid at the time of my order. Guess what? Never happened. I did finally get the couch delivered and have emailed and text Ashley with zero responses from their customer service team or the store manager. I guess as long as they have your money they really don't care weather your happy or not. Never, ever again will I purchase anything from Ashley furniture! read more

The Mohegan Lake store is fine but Ashley Customer Service stinks. My expensive couch got stuck in the recline position and has been open in my living room for a week. After many calls with customer service, many questions about what's wrong, and no hope in sight of having this eyesore in my living room fixed there is no date in sight to repair this simple issue of a button that stopped working after I pressed it with my finger tips. I went back to the store where staff agreed that customer service stinks and offered to follow up on my behalf but I still have not heard back. I don't recommend spending top dollar there if you cannot count on customer service afterwards! read more

My husband and I found our perfect dining room table and chairs at Ashley furniture in Mohegan Lake, NY today. We didn't have a lot of time to spare, and our Ashley associate, Christopher, quickly understood that and worked with us. He answered our questions, quickly worked out the total price, and he never tried to upsell us things we didn't want. We also asked about a queen size mattress and the foundation for it that we need as well, and he showed us a few that met our needs in that department, too! We ended up purchasing all of the above, as well as a large mirror that we saw on display that will fit and look perfectly in our new home! We really appreciated Christopher's honesty, knowledge of the products in their store, and the suggestions he made that were spot on to our needs and wants!! We HIGHLY recommend Ashley Furniture for their fair prices and excellent products, and we also HIGHLY recommend working with Christopher! read more
