Worst furniture experience I have ever had. I ordered the Besteneer dining room table, six chairs, and the server on January 3, 2019. I placed the order through the Ashley Home Store in Henderson, NV. I was promised my order would be delivered on Monday January 14, 2019. I received a text on Saturday January 12 advising me I would receive my order between Monday January 14-Wednesday January 23. I replied to the text which stated a representative would contact me. I never received a call and waited home all day Monday the 14th. I had taken off from work and my order was never delivered. I reached out to customer service on Tuesday January 15, 2019. They stated they were aware my items would not be delivered on Monday January 14, 2019 but acknowledged no one reached out to me. The representative stated all of my items would be delivered on Friday January 25, 2019. This was a complete lapse in customer service considering I was promised my furniture for the 14th and it was a surprise for my spouse's birthday. My spouse took off on the 25th from work to receive our furniture. I was not pleased when I received a phone call from customer service stating my server had been damaged and would not be delivered along with my table and chairs. This would mean I would have to take yet another day off of work to receive my server. The Customer Service person could not give me a date of when my server would even be in stock yet alone delivered. I asked to speak with a manager and spoke with John. John stated he could not give me an estimate for when the server would be in stock or delivered until the truck delivering my table and chairs returned for the night. I advised him the missed delivery dates, lack of communication, and my server not being delivered was unacceptable. He stated he would be willing to offer financial compensation once he had a delivery date for the server. In the meantime the table and chairs were delivered yesterday afternoon. The chairs were so loose that I did not feel comfortable even sitting in them. When I would lean back to sit in the chair I could feel the back separate from the seat of the chair. On top of that half of the chairs were not level. I called John back to advise him of this. He stated he could not get a technician out until February 6. Again, I advised him this was unacceptable. I have a new dining room set that I would not even be able to use for almost two weeks. John told me he would call me later in the evening with resolution about the chairs and a delivery date for my server. I never received a phone call. Okay so it's been a couple of months since my last post. Well never mind my five star review. This place is a joke they are all so very nice and cater to you to get your money. Yes I feel stupid for allowing myself to become their victim. What you see on the floor is not that you get. I bought a dinning set plus an accent chair with end tables. They scheduled me for delivery but than changed the date. Okay should have been a sign for me. Than they called me to tell me that my dinning table would be the only thing delivered and that I would have to wait two more weeks for the rest. Okay no problem but when they delivered the dinning set little did I know that it would start falling apart a week later. Chairs were flimsy, screws were coming off, table was scratched NOT AT ALL WHAT I HAD SEEN ON Display! Than I get another call telling me that the rest of my order yet again was going to take another week. Okay so by this time I had enough. I go back to the store talk to a manager explain to him what is going on and he says okay we can have someone come by your house to fix the dinning set. Someone from our Corp office will call you to set a date. I said okay however I canceled the rest of my order and asked for a refund they agreed and gave me back my money for the rest of the order I hadn't received yet. Well 2 weeks go by and the table gets worst chairs are making noises and I still hadn't heard back from anyone from corporate. Oh wait the best part of it all is that I financed have of my purchase and I got my first bill. Well my bill had the wrong amount seems like this morons added the amount that they refunded me to my synchrony account. Oh I was hot drove again to Ashley's spoke to manager again. By this time he felt really bad about what was happening. So he asked a store rep to fix my account and offered me a whole new set. I agreed so we scheduled a date for delivery. Okay delivery day comes and when they got there needless to say they where missing parts to the dinning set. So they took back the new set and left the Flimsy chairs scratch table behind. Not again right? So I called the store couldn't talk to a manager. But he did call me back and told me he was sorry and told me I could go choose any dinning set I liked could be different no matter the price he would honor it or I could have the same one I already had but new and he would still give me a $300 store credit. So I thought about it and I decided to get A different dining set. Went to the store picked it out schedule delivery and they came by however the dining set was too big for my house doesn't fit and I wasn't home when it was delivered. When I choose this set the sales rep told me I could exchange it should I need to. So I called him the very next day to let him know that I needed to exchange it for a smaller one. He texted me back and told me that the only thing I would have to pay was the delivery fee of $99.99 okay no problem I get it my felt this time and I'm willing to pay. Now I just had the other manager John call me today to tell me that I would have to keep what I have now and they can't doing the exchange for me. Well doesn't that suck. After all you guys have put me through and what I've had to deal with now u can't help me after I was told you could. Okay I ain't done with this yet. If you John can't help me that's fine. I will take this to the better Business bureau and file a complaint with Synchrony Bank. I'm done dealing with people who don't have the best interest for their 5/19/19 today marks 5 days since my last post to yelp and the Better Business Bureau! I'll start by saying this has nothing to do with the store staff and everything to do with getting a technician to service your furniture. We purchased a table back in January and it was very poorly put together to the point it constantly needed the screws to be tightened together again . We had purchased insurance with the table because the sales rep told us how easy it was to have serviced or replaced if need be ..... that couldn't be further from the truth we finally got tired of the table and chairs being extremely wobbly no matter what we did and went into the store . We went to the service desk and were helped by a nice guy who was very willing to assist us . He told us we should hear back from Ashley's to schedule a technician visit in the next two days ..... we never heard anything back so we call and he told my us that the technicians went and even put the tightened everything right up and it was good to go which was a lie no one even contacted us. So once again he tells you should hear from someone in 24 hours and once again radio silence ... I call back and speak to somebody with Ashley's customer service line and was giving an appointment for this week and was told they should call you one day before your appointment to agree on a time and nothing .... So I call again to the customer service line and the rep told me that they couldn't give me a time I had to wait and I explained I was told otherwise and I needed a timeframe since that's what I was told . Finally she said let me look at your account and then says oh I could schedule a time for you.... Buyer beware do not get the insurance it's a huge hassle to get someone out to fix it !!!! They give you such a run around and the service is piss poor . read more

I purchased a sofa/love seat and a bed set from Ashley Furniture. The sofa arrived damaged. Ashley furniture came and fixed it. When we received our bed set, that was also damaged. The night stand had a large scratch, and the drawers on our dresser didn't work, because the holes were stripped. Ashley furniture came by and 'fixed' the scratch on the night stand by filling it in with putty and paint. They couldn't fix our dresser so we had to wait 2 more weeks for a replacement. I received the dresser today, and the drawers do work, but one of the dresser drawers is chipped. I'm over having people come by 3 times to fix things. I'm just not going to shop there anymore. Every item we have purchased was damaged. We have spent about $4,000 with Ashley furniture this year. For my family, that is a lot of money, and I would like to have received a quality product They do have excellent customer service, but a furniture store shouldn't deliver damaged furniture over and over and over. read more

My husband and I bought 10 pieces of furniture in-store from them to fill our new house. While the saleswoman, Katherine Johnson, is AMAZING, the customer service center is a joke. I tried to schedule a delivery of one of my pieces of furniture, and I have YET to be able to talk to someone on the phone. Does anyone ever pick up the calls? In total, I've been on hold for about 90 minutes to ask a simple question. The furniture in the store is great, but the lack of help really dampens the good aspects of this store. Trying to get anyone to help was a project in itself. Visiting from Calif, my Mom asked my sister and I to help her look for a nightstand, recliner and new dining chairs. To begin with my rant, she unfortunately had to go hunting for a salesperson. Didn't get his name , he was far from being helpful. Bald sales guy, mid to late thirties. Claimed to be checking on availability and all the meantime chatting with all his other incompetent buddies. What he didn't bother to ask or realize is that my Mom pays cash for everything. Your perception was so skewed. Your sales people assuming we needed a translator on the way out. I'm a business owner and by this rant, do you think that I need translation? We talked her into going to another Ashley store where she bought what she was looking for. It's a shame that people in such menial positions can pretend to have a good perception of customers based on what they look like. We bought patio furniture at Ashley's a month ago from Shawn Smith! he was awesome! he helped us with measurements and also made the arrangemnents to have the store manager use some software to ensure it would fit on our patio. The delivery was quick and set up was perfect! We are here at Ashley's again today buying the chair that goes with the furniture. Shawn once again was able to get us a discount since we bought the rest of the patio furniture on a discount earlier. We recently moved to North Las Vegas and went shopping for furnishers at Ashley Homestore on N Decatur blvd, something that should have taken 30-45 minutes because we already knew what we wanted took about 2 hrs. First I was asked by the sales person if we shopped at Ashleys before, I told him that my brother had just purchased several furnitures, which he did. He asked for a phone number and pulled up my brothers name. We purchased several furnitures. The manager approved a discount after we asked because of all the furnitures we were purchasing. At time to check out, we noticed that my brothers name and address who lives in Sacramento was on the invoice. I was never on the invoice and my husband and I were the ones purchasing the furnitures, we had to point out to the sales person that he never asked for our names or information, he knew that my brother was not the one making the purchases. We had to demand that they changed the invoice to the correct information, which was completed after another 30 min in the store. Very frustrating and unnecessary time consuming. The delivery was promised for Saturday, 4 days after purchased, we waited and it never arrived. After we called we were told that a piece of furniture was out of stock and delivery would be the following Saturday. Frustrated because I work out of town and returned home to received the delivery. Once again a waste of time, lack of communication to the customer, and disorganization. We definitely will not return to Ashleys. To top it off my brother who lives in another state received information about my purchase and furniture delivery to his address. We are happy with the furnitures but awful customer service. read more

To say that this was an experiance would be a huge understatement. We had to redecorate an entire place so we went shopping, ordered some of our furniture at another store which was amazing but really expensive so we would need a second and maybe a third mortgage to finance it. So we got to Ashley and despite all the bad reviews we bought over $4000 worth of furniture. Now this was LAST September ( check date almost a year later) and we just got our last piece last week. Now in their defense there were supply chain problems everywhere so it's not entirely their fault but once the stuff was ordered and paid for they could care less. We kept going back in there to check on it, and all we got was a new date, further away never closer. The attitude was always hey that's the way it is. Then came delivery days they would call once and only once if you were taking a nap or driving and couldn't answer the phone they would automatically reschedule for 4 or 5 days later no second call nothing. You had to watch the phone like a hawk and answer it no matter what. We got stuff piece by piece and finally we got the last coffee table (yeah) which had a busted leg (damn). They asked me did I want to get this repaired or order a new one? Thinking quickly that it took 11months to get this one, my next one might not make it till 2025! So they took my name etc. and called me to schedule a repair. The repair man was exceptionally nice and quick. So finally we have all of our stuff. Would I reccomend them HELL NO. They work like the old high pressure used car dealers, they will try to add more and more to increase their profits and they are selling some pretty good furniture but it is way overpriced. So I bought furniture from these people about a and a 1/2 2 years ago. so we decided to change a room around in discover that this bid looked awfully uneven. Come to find out that This bed the reason why it is uneven. It's because they used to boltl to put it together. They never mentioned a word to me. After they put this together, they just moved on as if the work was complete. I know this is a late review. But, however, be careful with these people. Because every piece of furniture the wife precious from them, Is falling apart and we spent well over ten thousand dollars in this store. Ordered 2 love seats and a tv stand. It was explained to us that the couches would be delivered inside the door, no problem. Couches showed up and we have to assemble them?!?!?! I called to see if I could replace it with a different one or purchase a different couch. The answer was NO. I was told there are no refunds or exchanges and that all sales are final. Furniture stores can be scary because of high pressure sales people and concerns over quality, but Ashley was really a good experience for us. I looked high and low for over a year for a table for my foyer and was just not finding anything I liked. My husband was getting utterly annoyed with me. I knew exactly what I wanted, it seemed so simple, but nobody carried the item. Finally, we came in here, a store five minutes from our house and voila. One of my favorite things here is that the salespeople were not hounding us. They greeted us and let us know they were there to help, but they didn't follow us around. I think the salesperson may have mentioned that they are not commissioned. I finally found a table that I loved and the cost was very reasonable. Win! While the sale was being written up we also stumbled upon lamps that work perfectly in our family room that were also reasonably priced. Another win! Delivery was only around $100 which was well worth it to save the hassle of getting it home ourselves. The delivery was one of the most impressive parts of the whole process. I was easily scheduled for a Saturday delivery. They called me the morning of as a reminder of my delivery window and texted a confirmation. The delivery guys called from the gate as well. The guys came to the door first and surveyed the delivery area. They took great care in my home and were really respectful. They allowed me to examine everything to make sure it arrived okay, I signed off, and then I was left to enjoy my new purchases. read more

Ordered a sleeper sofa in July 2019 and purchased the additional warranty. The mechanism malfunctioned in November 2019. Since then, I've had about 5 different technicians come out to my house to repair the sofa without the parts. The technicians are confused that show up to my house and just tell me to call the store. When I call the store they send another technician out empty handed. I get the run around every time I've called Ashley's HomeStore and have been told they do not take returns. Out $1500 bucks and will NEVER order anything again from this company. They are a rip off. read more

My husband and I stopped by this afternoon to just look around and get a feel for what we wanted to furnish our new home. A gentleman greeted us as soon as we walked in and introduced himself as Irwin. He was so professional, non pushy, and really took the time to listen to our wants. If you want your furniture delivered within 3 months DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. Nothing but the runaround since we started dealing with this company, they don't communicate on when your furniture is going to get delivered and when you do call and ask for delivery dates they keep pushing it back 2 to 3 weeks at a time. We bought a couch on February 13 with a estimated delivery date of one month, I called early March and that was pushed back until march 20, I called a few days before then that was pushed back until April 2, I called a few days before then that was pushed back until April 16, I called a few days before then that was pushed back until May 02, I called a few days before then that was pushed back until May 30. A company that claims to manufacture its own furniture sure has a horrible way of finding out when they're going to manufacture a furniture. read more

I purchased a leather sofa and loveseat but when it was delivered it was much harder and less comfortable than the store display. The store delivery person advised me that it would soften after breaking in. It didn't happen and the store refused to do anything to help remedy the problem. They said it's yours as soon as it's delivered and left with your signature.... I will never again buy anything from Ashley Furniture Store....zero care from the company!!! Stay away.... If Zero star was available that's the rating they deserve. We spent over $4,000 .... very nice to look at but the most uncomfortable sitting on. read more
