I purchased a leather sofa and loveseat but when it was delivered it was much harder and less comfortable than the store display. The store delivery person advised me that it would soften after breaking in. It didn't happen and the store refused to do anything to help remedy the problem. They said it's yours as soon as it's delivered and left with your signature.... I will never again buy anything from Ashley Furniture Store....zero care from the company!!! Stay away.... If Zero star was available that's the rating they deserve. We spent over $4,000 .... very nice to look at but the most uncomfortable sitting on. read more

Terrible Terrible, my wife and I go into the store to purchase a kitchen table, at first we could get no ones attention to help us, finally after 20mins we get a man who has been drinking, I mean he smelled straight like alcohol every breathe was a bottle smell, then he didn't really know jack squat about anything, then I asked why were people picking up items out the side of the building he said oh that's nothing people were picking up deliveries. Then when I asked if I could pick up the item myself he said no you can't you gotta go pick it up from the warehouse I said well why not from here, he said you have to purchase the In home delivery for $69.99 I said I don't need that I can pick it up, he said but you have to put it together I said I'm not worried about that I can do it myself. And on and on and on he went. At this point I was done! Walked out The next day I call their number to the local store to be transferred to some BS call center and get hung up on like three times and then called back transferred again and again, finally some young girl gets on the phone and is able to answer one simple question and even then she didn't seem sure about that either- ridiculous I would just stay away from this place they need to rebuild their cast from zero- pretty pathetic service. read more

I posted this review because everyone's going to have their own experience. There seems to be a lot of negative reviews about service or delivery time. My experience with this Ashley store was great. They did let us know that it's going to be a few weeks maybe even months for delivery time. We were just in the middle of a pandemic. There's a lot of items on back order. People will just have to except that & be patient. As far as the service goes. The service we received was excellent. Katherine was our rep. We had to go back and make an adjustment on our order. I took my family to Walker Furniture Store and I saw a Couch I like, I ask the Sales Rep to see if they can knock off a price on the Couch I saw with electric recliner, they said NO, WE ARE A ONE PRICE STORE, I ask them are you sure, if I pay cash? The Answer again NO! I said fair enough, and I told the salesman to give me a out to door# on the couch I like, the response from the salesman yes, holy Crap they said yes . I ask for the manager to see if he will come down on the price, Sales Rep went to get his Sales Manager, and the manager came to us and told me that we are Car Max? So they are selling used couches ! I told them both see ya!!! I took my family to Ashley Furniture and came upon a guy name Jason Aganon, the Sales man was very happy and very polite to me and my family at the start. I showed Jason Aganon the paperwork I got from "WALKER USED FURNITURE STORE"(CarMax) . So Jason took a look at the paperwork and guide my family to the same couch we look at Walkers furniture. He told us that it's manual recliner and the price was more then Walkers (WOW). I told my wife I guess we are going back to the Walker with there nasty attitude salesman and manager. I ask Jason Aganon to match the deal, he told me I don't know but I will ask. I love the fact he didn't say no in the start but gave me a hope, Good start so far. Jason came back and offer a closer price, I told Jason I rather have power then manual, I ask the salesman I will make an offer, if he can include a separate recliner with the six piece furniture at the same otd number he gave me on the second offer and we will have a deal. So Jason said let me see, again he never said no to me. He went to his Store Manager John Salandra and sent his salesman back to offer me $20 more on the offer, I ask Jason Aganon to direct me to the Store Manager and the salesman said we will match the price and I ask Jason to direct me to the store manager and he did and I shook his hand on the $20 more and told him he has a great salesman. Debra in sales helped me with purchasing a new sectional. My experience with her was fun and felt zero pressure to purchase. I'm giving two stars for the simple fact that the store manager was rude. He spoke to Debra in such an unprofessional and mean tone. He said something in front of me(the Customer) that he should not have discussed. I was made to feel incredibly uncomfortable by him. He showed his annoyance when I wanted to match the price online and proceeded to tell me that he was going to bring up his want to ban online price matching at his next meeting. When I finally checking out, he verified my phone number, when he should have asked me to verify for security reasons. I ordered a sectional from Ashley Furniture in Henderson on 6/27/22. The order was supposed to be delivered in 6 weeks but wasn't delivered until almost 9 weeks (after multiple calls). My husband accepted the delivery but the sectional we received was entirely entirely different than the one we ordered in store. My husband works till late in the evening and I am busy with school. Calling them doesn't help as you are placed on hold for hours. My husband also didn't want to wait another 8 weeks but I was not happy because it was not what I wanted nor ordered. We finally went there in person to talk to them (it's been a week) to tell them that these are different couches and they told me that their policy is 3 days and only for damage/defective items. The item was neither damaged nor defective but we received something other than what we ordered. The 3 day window was in the fine print but we didn't read that nor did anyone accuse us verbally of a 3 day window. We talked to the office manager Alicia and the store manager Sabrina but they said they can't do anything. Initially, they kept insisting that the incorrect sectional was, in fact, what we had ordered in the first place. Then they agreed the wrong sectional was sent to us. After they noticed the three day window was up, they kept referring to that. I am making payments for something I did not order and I am stuck with it. As we were about to leave, the office manager Alicia and store manager Sabrina started laughing loudly at something. Could've been anything, but obviously I didn't find anything amusing in our interaction. I am just angry because I am spending my hard earned money on this couch every month but its not even what I wanted. They said we can try calling corporate but we know nothing will happen. This was the Mall ring circle location near Galleria mall. Just wanted to vent and let everyone know about it. I will never shop from there as they are not honorable. It was a bait and switch. I am attaching the pictures in store and the one on their tablet that they showed us versus what they gave us. The quality and design are subpar to the one we liked. This is my update: I give it 3 stars I had a manager contact me not to long ago his name is Timothy. He was polite and very upset as I am about the way I was treated in his store. He also offered me a discount should I come back and shop. Their is no dout that he took my last review as personal as I did. He offered me to come back and shop and assured me that this kind of treatment that I had to suffer thru would NEVER happen again. In my eyes Mr. Tim is a professional manager who cares about his clients. I have to give credit to Ashley for the customer service I received. We bought a leather dual recliner and one side had a rubbing that put out such an obnoxious sound for the entire recline and decline. It drove me absolutely crazy! So loud we couldn't hear tv over it and it could be heard upstairs as well. After many visits by techs and lots of rubs with leather cream (disgusting to say the least), customer service finally approved to exchange it out. We travel a lot, which is why the process took so long, but they still were great! Very understanding of my nerve limits and took care of us. I ordered my living room set back in April 2021 and today August 24th 2021 I have mostly everything. I say mostly because they sent me the wrong rug, the rug I paid for was quite expensive. The entire process have been a nightmare. They've pushed back delivery dates on 11 occasions. Shipping piece by piece. I've tried contacting customer services multiple times and they've only answered twice. Both calls were unprofessional and unproductive. When I stated the problem they put me on hold and hung up. This department is utterly disrespectful to the buyers. The managers are useless because apparently they have no control over anything. We ordered a coffee table and were told by our salesperson it would take three weeks to receive it. Instead, it took 4 months for it to be delivered. Unfortunately, after waiting so long to receive it, the coffee table was delivered used and broken. We were told during the delivery that we would need to report any problems within 72 hours. We called the number that was given to us and reported that the table was damaged within the hour it was delivered. After waiting four months to receive the table, we were completely frustrated in dealing with Ashley Furniture and asked to return the table for a refund. They said it would take 72 hours for the company to make a decision about the return. After waiting a week and having to call several employees, we were told that we would not be able to return the table and receive a refund because Ashley Furniture does not have a return policy. We will never shop at Ashley Furniture again. read more

We made the mistake of buying some furniture from Ashley on July 26, 2020. The furniture was in stock, so they told us when we purchased, but our house was not ready until September. Ashley set up delivery 3 dates and times between the end of September and November 14 and near each date scheduled, recanted the deliveries they set up each time or simply did not show up. Saturday November 14 was confirmed 4 times and they failed to deliver. We called and opened a case with corporate. A 4th delivery date was scheduled for today, November 17 between 8:30 and 11am. Today, November 17 was the 4th delivery rescheduling in 6 weeks. We called customer service at the Henderson location yesterday to confirm. We even drove to the Henderson store yesterday to confirm in person that our furniture would be delivered as promised. We received 6 texts confirming delivery yesterday and today. We tracked the order on line which said we were 3rd on the truck schedule at 8:30am and we should expect delivery between 9 and 10. The phone rings at 8:45 and Ashley's delivery department in Phoenix Arizona wants to AGAIN reschedule for perhaps tomorrow. Channing tells us they were on the other side of the valley today with other deliveries! She also claimed that the delivery driver contacted her (her department) that they could not deliver as promised. These people are UNRELIABLE! These people are UNTRUSTWORTHY! These people HAVE NO SCRUPLES! These people HAVE NO SHAME! These People have a 1 out of 5 rating with BBB! 468 complaints in the last 3 years and 244 in the past year. You can also never get a call thru to the Mall Ring Drive store. You get routed to who knows where? Order# 321-62-620762250. After 8 calls to Ashley today, an on line chat that was a disaster and some creative detective work, we managed to reach the delivery driver by phone, Demetrius. Nice guy! He told me he had been in my area all day and not the other side of the valley, so the person who originally called us this morning to postpone and avoid delivery again today, Channing, was LYING about the route and the driver calling her! The delivery driver works for EZTrans LLC an independent contractor hired by Ashley. He was kind enough to amend his routing schedule to accommodate delivery and fulfill Ashley's false promises. My husband and I bought a diner set table, the delivery process was TERRIBLE, when they came with the table it was damaged, so we had to wait for them to return it and send us back another one, so we were without a dinner table for about a week (were a family of 5) then when they come and deliver the 2nd table , the delivery guy drops and breaks our light post out front as well as the table .. we had to order A THIRD table and contact our HOA about the damage. The customer service on top of all this was terrible, they gave us a $75 in store credit for the inconvenience. Our table is already chipping paint and it's only been 5 months. After much research and visiting other furniture stores, we decided to make our purchase here. The sectional I wanted was cheaper online than it was in store. Luckily they price matched, so this wasn't an issue. The transaction itself was simple and easy since I had stopped in a few times prior to making the commitment. After financing and setting an appointment for delivery, I was finished within an hour. My new sectional was to be delivered in two weeks. Fast forward two weeks. I received a text message confirming my delivery for December 16, which I thought was nice. They were on time and the delivery men were friendly. When they were setting up, one of the pieces had a hole in it. Great! It had to be ordered and I had to wait another 2 weeks for my sectional to be complete. Finally a month after the transaction, my sectional is complete and I'm happy. If it wasn't for the month wait, it would have been a 4 star review. When arrived on the delivery date the delivery guy was the one who showed me that the table had been used, the holes were stripped on the table and it was missing a chair. I refused to keep because that is not what I ordered. He ended up calling someone from delivery to file a claim, the lady from the delivery place called me and stated that someone from Ashley home store would be contacting e within 24 hrs to set up new delivery date etc. Well, no one from the Ashley home store contacted me within 24 hrs so I endEd up going to the store and cancelled entire order. I came in to look for some barstools and art work. Michael C. greeted me and I didn't know what to expect. Sometimes they try to hard sell you or upsell you and follow you around. Michael was not like this. He was very friendly, knowledgable and provided valuable product information. and I really valued his customer service. The store has very nice furniture and pretty much has anything you need for your house. I actually bought more than I planned because I found so much I liked. Michael is a great guy to work with. Ordered furniture set on Apr 29 its already July and still nothing. No call or email and when I would call there is no status update. Whenever I called I will be waiting on the phone for 30 mins. July 12 I called to cancel order and get refunded. Got email the couple days later saying delivery for July 23. Called again, waited 30 mins, and verified cancellation, still cancelled. Day 7 and day 10 still no refund. Was told 7 to 10 business day we will get refund. Day 10 called again waited 22 mins and Katelyn answered. I would give a higher score for the selection, but the service was poor. I am a wheelchair user at the moment (broken foot) and the furniture is so tightly packed that it's very hard to navigate the store. Instead of helping, the salesmen made fun of my husband and me when they thought we couldn't hear. When we told them that we were looking for furniture here with the hope that we could get it delivered from the LA store, one salesman told the other, "Don't even bother, it's not worth it" and they walked away. We picked out a bedroom set to buy (like I said, there was nice furniture), but we decided not to buy it here because we wanted our commission to go to different salespeople. Had the chair 20 minutes. Talked to a sales representative and then the store manager. They were going to talk about it and get back with me. No call back. Just a text message saying sorry no. What I wanted was more expensive than what I already had. I spent 3k on couches. One would think that they would work with you, especially since you were going to spend more.
