Extremely Disappointed and Concerned About Quality and Safety!!!! Horrible Furniture! The warranty process is a scam and costumer service is overseas! I purchased the stupendous sectional, ottoman, and lounge chair from Ashley Furniture.Unfortunately, this has been a very disappointing experience from start to finish. 5000 sofa and it doesn't even last a year! No animals no smoking on this furniture! The white fur fabric on all pieces is already deteriorating and fraying, which is unacceptable for furniture that is supposed to be durable. Even more concerning, the furniture appears to be poorly constructed. The sectional and lounge chair make loud creaking and screeching noises, and the structure feels unstable during normal use. Since bringing this furniture into my home, my family has also experienced health-related issues that were not present before, including allergy-like symptoms from the fur like material of the sofa. At this point, I consider this furniture defective and not fit for use. I will be filing disputes with Synchrony regarding the financing and submitting complaints to the Attorney General and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture based on this experience. Quality is horrible. Delivery is not timely. I also returned my night stands after delivery because of the awful smell from the wood. Well Ashley you got my $40. Bought a rug from the sale rugs, fine. Expected it to maybe need vacuumed or even a at most a cleaning. But this rug looks like it was used to change tires on. It's not even salvageable, rented a carpet cleaner too. Wasted my time and my money. Should have been tossed in the trash. Congrats you got me. After the $1000's I have spent on some really nice pieces I am not thrilled I feel cheated over a rug. read more

I give 5 stars to the delivery drivers, Edgar & company. My sofa delivery ETA was between 8:30 to 11am, and they arrived at 8:45. I didn't realize the sofa size was huge and the entrance to my house was very narrow, with a post that is in the way. Edgar and his buddy made every possible way to get my sofa inside carefully not to damage anything. Once they got the sofa in, they were in and out of my house within 5 minutes, despite having to do some minor assembly. Kudos to the delivery drivers! They work very hard for customers read more

Had a sofa and loveseat from them and had it 1 year. At six months the cushions went from being really firm. To completely sunken in. We had extended warranty and called. They came out to see the sofa and said it wasn't covered because it's wear and tear. But the employee said he would help us out. And ordered us new cushions. Took a couple weeks to get. And we were told we had to put the new cushions in. I called again for someone to come out and he did help with putting new cushions in. Which was great. But now a few months later cushion have broken down and base is failing. It's now a back breaking sofa. It hurts to sit in. I know you get what you pay for but one year later totally unhappy. I would say pay a little more and get something that will last at least a few years. read more

I've been on the hunt for a sectional couch so this was one of the places I wanted to check out. I had never been in here before. It was easy to find & park. What I didn't like right away was the uneven ground out front of the store. (see photos) This I found to be a dangerous hazard as someone may trip & fall from it so they really should address this. The store wasn't that big compared to another local furniture store I've been too. I was greeted upon my entrance by a young man. I told him what I was looking for & he directed me into the areas I should focus on to find what I was looking for. I didn't find anything that I liked. I did have to use the bathroom & the guy had walked me over to that area. I liked that he wasn't pushy or following me around the store. I like to go in & look around without being bothered. If I have questions I'm not shy in asking. Unfortunately I didn't find a sectional that I liked. Their prices are a little hight to begin with & I'm not looking to pay an arm & leg for a sectional. The set up was beautiful as they do have some nice pieces but I'm giving them 3 stars due to the unsafe walkway & their outrageous prices on their selections. They also didn't have a little snack & drink place set up like I've found at other nearby furniture stores. :-/ read more

The saga continues today. I called Ashley corporate to try and sort through the issues. They have a "delivery" scheduled for tomorrow but the last time they showed up when I didn't schedule one they were here to take a coffee table without a replacement only a credit memo. They have nothing that looks remotely the same so I didn't want a credit. She assures me this time they do have a replacement table. We will see. So I follow up on my dining room table. She tells me she has no record that the table was ever ordered let alone delivered with missing parts (even though they sent one of them - I think it needs 4??) and the local store would handle this. However she says the phone for the local store has been down for 2 weeks and there is no way to contact them. She told me if I need to speak when them I have to literally drive to the store - but she would send a message to have them hopefully call me. Maybe their email is down too since I've send 10 follow-ups on the parts and no one is responding. Meanwhile the side table they sent me a new top for is already cracking after just a month in my house. read more

Was told my chair would be in two weeks then after me calling because never heard from the company that my chair Would be coming in four weeks later I've already waited two weeks. I ordered some stuff from Ashley's store and the color was way wrong I ordered off white they sent black so I had to go back to the store they told me they were going to reorder my original order but it will take 3 months to get it. So the manager was very apologetic about everything and he gave me 4 gifts cards ($100 each) for the mess up he said he couldn't give me money off which is fine tell me why I go in to use the gift cards and they say we no longer except those. Bought a sofa here and not even a year later when we sit the cushions sink in we got the protection plan because they told us it would cover any damage and when we tried to do a claim we were denied. I decided to get my DREAM desk here. The staff understood that I prefer to browse alone and gave me space to do so. Eventually I found my desk and the process from selecting to walking out after paying was smooth. The only thing I would recommend is them having bags for items that can be carried out of the store like small decorations and blankets. Besides that the store is safe from trip hazards, clean bathrooms, credit card vending machines, and the prices are clearly displayed. Ordered my desk and delivery was quick. read more

Our sales lady was the rudest, pushiest she could possibly be. We were looking to get a twin version of a bed we bought for my mom 3 years ago. We showed her the info from our website search of their company. It's dark brown, CLEARLY says dark brown and she insisted one they had in stock that was reddish brown was the same thing. We gave up on that and moved onto mattresses. She took us to the expensive ones even after we informed her they were out of our price range. I asked if we could just order the same mattress we got FROM THEM 3 years ago and she said it's not a good mattress--even though my mom stated several times how much she's loved hers. She said EVERY time a customer orders online, their order gets canceled. How can you flat out lie to a customer? You cannot stay in business by canceling every single order. She repeated that many times until a manager corrected her. I ended up ordering the same bed and similar mattress box spring from Amazon as we waited for her manager--for over $200 less. I have so many furniture pieces I'm replacing this year, but I guarantee I will NOT be purchasing from Ashley Furniture. What a waste of our morning. read more

When you buy your first new house, you want to fill it with furniture that isn't hand-me-downs. And after my mom told me that Ashleys was having their big Presidents Day sale, my husband and I decided to take a look once again here. We had pursued about a month earlier and didn't really love any of the couches or tables, but we did find a bed we loved. We figured we head in and see if it was on sale. When we walked in, we were instantly greeted by Michael C. He asked if we needed any help to just come find him and even told us that he could probably get us up to 50% off that day. We had originally started the day thinking we were going to buy our couch, but after hearing that, we mosied back to where the bed we had seen a few weeks prior. We fell in love with it, and I even loved the matching dresser and nightstands. It was a pretty big deal, since we both really couldn't agree on anything. Michael made his way back to us again and checked in with us. He ended up starting us a mobile cart on his tablet and as we talked and looked around, he kept adding more and more discounts for us. After we decided on the bed, we decided we needed a mattress. Of course, I know the sales people here are supposed to get your started on the temperpedic cuz it's the most expensive. But we ended up going with a different mattress. Again, Michael was super helpful and patient with us, as next to our house, it was the biggest purchase we've made in a while hah. When it came time for us to finish and check out, we applied for the financing. They offered up to 60 months, even with the 40% off, but Michael's manager said they didn't want to finance that for us since we weren't spending enough. Not totally sure how close to $7K is not enough, but I do get we did get a lot of details. My husband was ready to walk out haha, but I told him hey, we love the bed and it's super discounted, let's just try to meet in the middle with them. Michael ended up advocating for us, and we even put some money down, so they got us a little bit better of a deal, which was great. This store definitely has a lot of options and I definitely think the best time to shop has to be when they have a sale, otherwise, dang, you'll end up paying a lot. But, my parents have bought furniture here before and have had it for years with no issues, so I know they do make some good quality stuff. Now, I just have to anxiously await our new bedset, which thanks to the pandemic, won't be here until 1-4 months haha. But again, big thanks to Michael C for taking such great care of us! read more

Spent $5000 on a new sofa set and they left off a throw blanket that was part of the order. Two months later we are getting a call center in India that says we cannot talk to the store directly and have to deal with them! They tell me now I have to pick the item up at a warehouse. I don't even wanna give the store one star to be honest. I feel like the entire thing was a scam and I don't know what's going on with the customer service in the store. Seth, the sales person was very pleasant, easy-going and amicable. He helped us with the furniture that we're picking out and he was friendly and kind and he kept saying that he'll give us the best deal possible. We picked out a sofa. We picked out a very expensive bed. We picked out several rugs, coffee, and end tables lamps basically half a homes worth of furniture. Then he bought Adriana in to close the deal and she made all kinds of promises on the pricing and we felt very good about the pricing that we got. Fast forward to the delivery and half of the furniture never arrived still hasn't arrived and they have been incredibly difficult to deal with. We also found out that they gave us an additional charge on an extended warranty, which we specifically said we did not want. When questioned Adriana said well that was the only way we could've given you the price that we gave you on the sofa. What? Give me the best price you can on the sofa and let me make a decision. Don't unilaterally put a price on something And play the shell game with us. It has now been 2 1/2 months half of the furniture has not been delivered and I canceled it but yet they still haven't given me a credit on my account with synchrony. They also made a big deal about we're gonna make it up to come in the store. Will let you pick two very expensive pillows, which seemed gracious at first and we were glad to do. But three weeks later we still haven't received the pillows. Three weeks for pillows I can go to target and get pillows in 20 minutes. Bottom line is Adriana and team were not forthcoming and something seems like it's going on there. They're playing the Shell game with money and moving things around, maybe it has to do with their bonuses. Maybe it have to do with their numbers, but they're not being honest with us. They're doing some reversal, some charges miscellaneous things on my synchrony account without ever disclosing to us and to be quite honest, you can get the same furniture somewhere else without the rigmarole and them just playing games. My recommendations go to a different location. Do not shop at the store. And please understand I have gotten furniture from from other Ashley's as well as other Companies like Sleep Number and other stores and I've paid my bills and I've never had any problems. Somethings going on in these people need to learn customer service. I would not shop here please be aware of that friendliness versus what you're gonna get later on. And their delivery services in their communication are very, very poor read more

Purchased a chair and matching ottoman two weeks ago. I was given a delivery date of 10-10-24 and a delivery time of 12pm-2pm. In the meantime I made a doctor's appointment for early that morning in order to be home to accept the delivery. I called the day prior to confirm the delivery date and time to learn that the time had been changed to 7:45am. No one had the business sense or consideration to inform me of this change ... WOW! What a business. This is my first purchase from Ashley Furniture in Henderson Nevada and it will be my last! All I heard from 7 people that I spoke with was "I'm so sorry." Guess what? SO AM I. We bought all our furniture from Ashley about 5 months ago, bedroom set, living room section, table everything. Delivery was super easy. Unfortunately the original couch we purchased didn't hold up well, the process took longer than I hoped but even with some difficulty with corporate Danielle, Elizabeth, and everyone else in the store that we interacted with us was super helpful and made sure we got taken care of. We got a new couch ordered and the softest blankets I've ever felt. If you go with Ashley, this location is the way to go. read more

I got approved and bought a mattress and didn't want the mattress protector to begin with. I've work sales before and know how it work and to let them have a slightly bigger order I just let the male manager add it anyway. I was promised it would come in the same day I had to pick up the mattress , it never came in (was supposed to be in by the 11th of July , I had to reschedule it to the 29th and I just received a call again in regards of having to push back my delivery date even more back than I had originally though. i was offered 5% off witch was only $15 off I spoke the the store manager again and he said I will receive $100 off and because it was financed I wasn't able to get it anyway I am getting the run around by the a big company who speaks highly about there business. I can't cancel the whole order because its "furniture" but im Not satisfied with the mattress nor service. I wish I had taken my business elsewhere. read more

Why give a home star 3 stars? More obvious reasons may include the service or selection , I must attest that was up to par. What was shocking was the blatant racism experienced at this location. Even witnessing a white male sales associate treat a child badly because of the color of his skin who was quietly seated with his sister as he was waiting for their parents. It was appalling! Do not come here unless you want a terrible experience. To start off the sales lady was fighting with me about my signature and said it was insufficient for their files. It matches my ID, cards, and all important documents soooo wdym it's not sufficient. She proceeds to push me to change my signature???? Which i did not do. After that, she promised me the delivery date of 5/28 to an updated address. She doesn't update the address AND the delivery was actually never scheduled. I eventually get a text to reschedule my order which I do to 6/4. It then auto texts me that my order is scheduled for 6/3, so then i reschedule it again to 6/4. It does the same thing AGAIN, so i AGAIN reschedule it back to 6/4. They then text me saying my order is scheduled for 6/4, but to the wrong address. So then i call and i have them update my address. I finally get a nice text saying my order is being delivered 6/4 with a time window and the correct address listed. I'm sitting at home waiting for the delivery and then get a text saying my order needs to be scheduled. I call a customer service line and get informed that my order was cancelled due to an address change. This address change had been updated since i placed the order but the sales representative did not update it accordingly. They then tell me they can contact their delivery team to see if they can add it to the route and end the call on me. I call another customer service line and they tell me my order was rescheduled due to them not having the items in stock. After all this mess, I ask to cancel my order because this is ridiculous they ask me if i would like a 5% discount instead of cancelling. No i don't want your 5% discount i want my damn order. Safe to say they lost me as a customer FOREVER. read more

Jose never called me back, so I called the store back and spoke with Edgar (sales manager). I explained my issue, and he attempted to update my account to ship my rug to me. He couldn't update to send because someone was logged into my account. Stated he "update the cells" when he could access my account, and then contact me. Since he gave me his email, I emailed him the next day for an update because, AGAIN, nobody got back to me. He got back to me with "Adding the store to investigate, but we usually can't change address once it's shipped". I was floored. I never asked to change the address! So, AGAIN, I had to explain the issue in detail, and request the rug be delivered. Shocker, NOBODY GOT BACK TO ME. So I gave up and lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. That lit a fire. The next day, not only did both Jose and Edgar get back to me, but corporate called me too. However, corporate just wanted me to close out my complaint with the BBB, no apology, no concession for wasting my time. I told her absolutely not until the rug is delivered without damages. When asked what they would do better to streamline this process for others going forward, she told me she had no plans. They should be ashamed of their customer service and the lack of willingness to help customers until a government agency is involved. If you are having repeated issues getting what you paid for and nobody will help you, I implore you to CONTACT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU . That is the only way you can get Ashley to pay attention. read more
