Me and my fella are in need of a new sofa and we headed to every furniture store I could think of. This place is nothing to write home about. One of the lesser Ashley stores I've been in. The selection wasn't amazing, but they have a good amount of discounted merchandise, which is a plus. The layout of the store is a little shabby. I think a few more decorative details would do wonders. I probably wouldn't make another trip all the way to that side of town, but it's good if you're in the area. read more

If I could give negative stars I would.. I ordered my living room set in February. I was told I would receive them at the end of May which I was very much okay with. May roles around and they say it will be June.. same thing again June rolls around and now it will be September to which I start getting frustrated at this point. Sure enough September rolls around and was told it is now going to arrive is November which is absolutely ridiculous at this point. I understand COVID set everything back but to consistently tell me dates that are absolute lies is disrespectful. We have gone to several furniture stores in Las Vegas. Hands down Ashley's is the best to us. They treat you with repect and their sales are "true" sales. We actually had a company RAISE their prices and say that was the sale price. The staff is very professional and welcoming. For now on we will go there 1st when looking for an item. I've been a customer of Ashley Furniture for a number of years. The experience in their Henderson NV location on April 28, 2019 was less than pleasant. We stopped to browse furniture as we are in the market for several furniture purchases. We were met by Yulia immediately upon entering. Trying to communicate needs and wants was difficult and frustrating. We did make a small purchase, however hesitating up until the very last second, our salesperson did not look listen, in fact at certain points almost argued with us. I was very happy with my furniture from Ashley. While at the store the staff was very kind and informative. The young girl who helped us was supportive of our price point and did her best to keep us within our limit. The management also gave us extra discounts as a result of an hourly raffle I won while shopping. Although I know the purchasing process can be lengthy I would have liked it to be a bit quicker the sale paperwork took about 2 hours and I was exhausted by the time we signed the final copy. And I had to wait three weeks for my furniture to be available for delivery. My furniture was delivered on time and as expected, the delivery men were professional and quick. Upon delivery the bedroom set was free of any scratches or imperfections that I worry about with delivery items. The men were kind enough to arrange the room to my specifications. First I want to say that I love the furniture I purchased from here,however their customer service is the worst ever experienced. I had a bed delivered this morning around 7am I thought went really smooth. Then when I went to leave my house the delivery men left the metal bed frame in the street in front of my house. So from 7 in the morning tell 2pm my neighbors had to drive around a king bed metal frame. Now the delivery men could have to me they couldn't take it instead of taking it out of my house and placing it literally in the middle of the street. So when I call to complain the supervisor argues with me saying it was my fault and there's nothing they could are would do about it then hung up on me. I ordered a living room set at the end of May and I have still not received my lamps that were on back order. Each time I call, they tell me they are at the warehouse and will be shipped. This is the same story that I have heard since the beginning of July. They were due at the end of June. Still no lamps and September is almost here. Not recommended. After my previous post, Lisa was very responsive and the lamps arrived. My suggestion would be if you run into a problem, sometimes calling corporate or management first helps. We purchased the bitters sweet bedroom collection about 5 years ago and just went in to upgrade from queen to king. We also ended up getting a temper mattress. Great customer service and friendly staff but that was the slowest service EVER. If you plan on financing or changing your order, be prepared to wait a couple of hours. Bring a pillow and blankets find a nice sofa or bed to sleep on and take a nap! If you bring your kids, bring cash for the snack machine. read more

The worst place ever to buy house furniture! I bought a Craftmatic adjustable bed and what a nightmare. From the day that it was delivered until today I've been trying to get the right legs for the bed. It's been over three months and over a half dozen times that I've been to the so called customer service department to try and get something done. And they've told me time and again that they would get it taken care of. What a joke. I purchased a mattress cover and that to was a night mare. When the delivery guys unpacked it it was Filthy. It looked like it had been dragged down the road. They said that they would have it cleaned. When it was returned to me it didn't look much better. I bought furniture at this location in November and my experience was a complete nightmare from the very start. Orders weren't correct, items were brought chipped, or something was missing from our items. My roommate and I not only spent quite a bit of money furnishing our entire apartment, but we spent a lot of time trying to fix all the errors. This Sunday, we went in for one last complaint because again, something wasn't correct. At this point, my roommate and I lost complete patience and didn't want anything to do with this place anymore. A gentleman by the name of Yohan completely turned our experience around. We were very upset walking in to the store, but he resolved every problem we had in such a calm, friendly and professional manner. Well crafted nice furniture, weird sales and business practices. Found a table we liked and got to the buying part, backed out because they don't have an option for returns. We don't return stuff, but having the option on the off chance that things look different or just don't work the way you measured they would makes big purchases easier. We talked with a couple of different people they were both nice, but could have used a lesson in sales based of customers needs and less pushing packages. We were not looking for a mattress and didn't care about one. Yet after saying that we were talked into a 15 minute demonstration on the "latest and greatest" yada yada.... Over it. As a customer I just want to be listened to! They sell packages which is nice, but said that the option to customize them was upsetting their customers. Last time I checked options always make me happy. Also bad form off the bat when the gentleman came in hot bashing RC Willey. I get it, competition and what not, but I could care less that you used to work there and you know why they aren't good. DO NOT buy furniture from Ashley Home Store. I have a delivery scheduled for May 29th when I am in my new home. They call everyday to schedule an earlier delivery and everyday I have to call back and tell them I'm not in my house yet. Twice they have actually sent the delivery out after I told them the day before that no one lives there yet. This has gone on for two weeks. I just got another delivery notification from them today. In case you were thinking about shopping Ashley homestore I want to tell you my experience. We ordered a bed on Black Friday and paid for delivery. When they came to assemble the bed on Dec. 17, they put the rails on upside down and then laughed about how that never happens before admitting they didn't have a necessary tool to fix it. The Ashley HomeStore representatives then made my daughter sign their phone, explaining she was just saying materials had been delivered, not showing her what she was actually signing and left with the bed partially assembled and taking up her whole bedroom. We get a call saying a repair was required and that it would be a couple weeks before they could come repair the bed, as they needed to order parts. After an hour on the phone we got them to promise they would be at our house on Sunday with new parts. Frustrating as hell since my daughter has no place to sleep!! Then we get a call saying that Ashleyhomestore won't be sending anyone until "sometime after the new year". When we said nevermind, we want to return the bed and cancel the order, we were told that was not possible, we signed saying the bed was delivered and therefore we cannot return it. WTH?? This was not an as-is purchase or a clearance item, how can they not accept a return?? I cannot believe we are being treated so poorly, and I wanted everyone to know about our experience so you can shop somewhere else!!! read more

Ashley is the worst company ever. First they kept pushing to deliver early before I was ready. Then they delivered at their convenience. When I tried to call to say I couldn't sit home until 7pm it took 45 minutes to even get through to customer service and the girl who answered confirmed this was routine and was most unapologetic. When I finally got the couch, it had a nail sticking out of the back and a stain on the back. The delivery man was rude and his hands were filthy touching my light grey couch. He moved heavy decorative items on my porch to deliver and didn't put them back. The delivery man called customer service for a service call about my concerns and to fix the nail and stain and when they called they told me when it was good for THEM to come service this couch. It wasn't about my convenience or time despite their error. They required me to agree to their windows of service whether it was good for me or not. 8-5 and I'd only know a smaller to die the nite before. I should have known when the first salesgirl was too lazy to even show me this couch at the back of the store that buying from Ashley's was stupid and would cause me aggravation. I just couldn't imagine how much. I'm very sorry I ever gave Ashley a dollar at all. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY'S. There are many other companies who will really appreciate your business and value it. I'm sorry I ever walked into Ashley's. read more

I ordered a full sofa set, including a chair an ottoman. Once I paid of course the sales guy says oh sorry the chair is on back order for a month. I called him out on not telling me that before I paid so they gave me a $100.00 discount. Fine whatever. Month comes and goes I have to try and reach the store to find out where my chair and ottoman is, this is when I find out it's delayed AGAIN for another month, I ordered this in June so now they tell me to wait until the end of August, end of august comes guess what no chair! I have to reach out AGAIN where is my chair? Oh sorry delayed again until mid November. OMG! By this time I had it and said cancel the stupid thing this is a joke 4 months later and maybe I might have my chair, when I said to cancel it surprise guess who had it in stock now! Ok fine deliver it to me then. Oh wait then they deliver it but only have one of two pieces I refused the delivery since they lied and told me they had both pieces but really didn't. Try calling customer service hahaha what a joke you sit on hold, no one ever answers. I cancelled my order by email to the store manager and they still showed up to my house 3 times trying to deliver half the order, they obviously have no communication within the company. The finance people in the back of the store stay away from them, they are the rudest women I have ever seen, they literally act like they hate life when you have to interact with them. The manager John is good for nothing except sitting on his tail end all day, every time i came there he was sitting on his you know what doing NOTHING! This place is horrific and gives out fake corporate phone numbers too. Ashley furniture sucks, RC Willey is the place to go, top notch service, easy delivery, and doesn't screw your orders up. Normally I absolutely DREAD going to this store. The sales people are so terribly pushy....I feel like having a sign hanging around my neck saying "YES, I HAVE BEEN HELPED ALREADY". It's literally nauseating, so much so that I purposely get on a phone call to walk through the store. Fast forward to yesterday, I went to the store to try to find a recliner to match a new couch we have. I was in the store literally 15+ minutes, and NOT ONE sales person walked up to me, NOT ONE sales person greeted me, and only one time for a split second did a sales person even glance my direction - and she kept walking a different direction. There were 2 other sales people 'yelling' to each other across the store, seemingly discussing how to rearrange the furniture in a corner. I walked right by them, twice, and no acknowledgement whatsoever. The store was nearly empty of customers...you would think they'd be happy to help me, but no. I even stood at the catalogues in the back of the store flipping through them to see what else they had that I might like, and nothing. Zilch. Not one person ever walked up to me. If you purchase furniture from this company do NOT purchase a warranty with it. Once you actually file a claim they will NOT cover anything. If you tell the store that the warranty that they sold you is not covering your claim they don't care and tell you that you have to cover the costs yourself. I have purchased two couches from them in the past and paid for the warranties and now that I actually need to use it this is how I am treated. Will not be returning as their customer in the future. Ive purchased alot of furniture from Ashley and the last time i bought a server from them delivered with a broken door and took them over 6 months to fix as the first time they delivered the parts for the door was the wrong parts. Got nothing but sorries figured i'd givem a try and buy a coffee table and see what customer service they would do for a returning customer that had an issue last purchase and store manager gave me excuse bout the furniture industry versus lets see what we can do for you. So salesperson said if your ordering something simple like a coffee table try online. So I opted to try online, order came fast but table came damaged when i called there customer service they just said just put it back in the box, seal it, and put it outside on Thur Fri and Sat and UPS will pick it up. Asked if i could just drop it off at an Ashley store they said no...I asked if Ups will pick up box if not closed properly as you know its easier to take out things of a box then put it back in the box like it came....they said no and when i asked then how am i going to return this thing they sent to me damaged they hung up! DO NOT EVER PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY ONLINE EVER and if you receive bad furniture from delivery just REJECT dont take delivery drivers suggestion Ashley will fix it may be FOREVER before it gets fixed and wont get anything for the headache on a future purchase.....no discount, no delivery fee waived no good service for customer loyalty. read more

After seeing an add for an outdoor table and four chairs I went to the store and purchased it. It would take until July 8th to be delivered. At time of purchase I was told this was a non-margin profit item. I said I could wait for delivery as this was on May 26th. On July 4th I received a call that the delivery was to be July 6th. As she read the item to me it was only the chairs not the table. Upon further investigation I was told the table had been discontinued. No calls beforehand at all. If I had not asked about the table at three different levels I would have thought the table would be arriving at a later date. However my main concern was their financing front desk where I was misinformed by the information provided and 3 hours later after selecting my furniture they advised I was not able to complete the transaction. I advised them that's fine, I was getting ready to leave and go to the Martin Luther King location when they said they are going to call the Mgr and advise and see if they can finalize the sale, which he advised yes. I made a big mistake of coming to this location, I always go to the other location and have excellent service. Just bought a new sectional. They did the whole transaction without the ottoman, intact i caught the mistake and they made several more huge mistakes while i was there trying to get through the financing part. After i realized they charged me double on the ottoman so I've been calling trying to get them to fix their mistake. I spoke with Marcel their who remembers all the mishaps during my purchase and he was too much of a coward to tell me they won't honor the mistake so he told me i had to call a different phone number to talk to a manager. Even though the desk is right next to his. In the meantime he told some other lady the situation so when i called for the manager she piped in and instead of putting the manager in the phone she basically told me that since i didn't catch the error before delivery it's too bad and i have to pay for their mistake.
