If you are thinking of buying furniture, don't think Ashley! Not only do they fail to communicate, it seems they don't honor their "insurance guarantee" ( and I use that term loosely). We purchased a number of items including a bedroom suite: dresser, highboy, two night stands, and a very faulty frame, as well as a dinette set, and coffee table cost: We dropped quite a chunk of change in the process. We did have a bit of a problem with delivery of the coffee table, but with COVID rampant, that was to be expected. What we did not expect was that the bed would collapse within a month of purchase with a broken rail while we were sleeping! Either the design of the bed was faulty or it was incorrectly put together. For three of those weeks prior to the big crash in the middle of the night, I was traveling across country and only my husband was sleeping in the bed alone. But we had insurance, right! Everything should be fine! That's when we had a really rude awakening! We went back to Ashley immediately after the Big Crash. It was impossible to get thru to customer service. We finally had a a service visit scheduled two weeks later. Meanwhile, we are sleeping on the box springs and mattress on the floor. (Something I haven't done since college over 40 years ago!) Serviceman came and stated the bed could NOT be repaired...and then silence from Ashley. After a week of no further communication, I called AGAIN. After a run around with sales it was determined that a new rail had been ordered. And then, more silence. I waited over another week and called customer service AGAIN. I was told that Ashley had been trying to reach us. Interesting, since the Askley/ Sam Levitt number NEVER appeared on either of our phones. However, the rail would be delivered on Saturday,BUT it wasn't! Again silence from Ashley. I called customer service twice ( disconnected the first time) and was told there was a problem with the truck. The service person said he would check with his supervisor and call me right back, but he didn't. Anyone want to by a new, but broken bed? My experience with this store was extremely unsatisfactory. Although they initially appeared attentive and engaged with managers during the sales process, their level of assistance diminished significantly after payment. They charged my credit card the agreed-upon amount but then claimed I had not ordered a specific item, despite having placed the order, signed documentation, and completed all necessary procedures. Additionally, they failed to assemble my bed, leaving the mattress on the floor. When I requested receipts and documentation related to their claims, they refused to provide them. I was forced to contact the company's CEO and founder to obtain email correspondence with copies of all relevant documents. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against shopping at this store. Despite multiple attempts to reach them today, they have not responded to my calls. Avoid this store; it's clear why very few people shop there. Ashley Furniture - Ongoing Nightmare I placed an online order with Ashley Furniture on July 4, 2025, for a sectional sleeper sofa and ottoman. July 11 - Ottoman delivered no issue. July 30 - Only one sectional piece delivered. The other was reported broken and never loaded. August 14 - The missing piece (Marelton left-arm facing sleeper sofa, 5530510) was delivered broken. I sent photos via text, chat, and emailed. Since then, I've been chasing Ashley for answers: Aug 14 - Reported issue through multiple channels. Aug 19 - Told I'd be contacted within 48 hours. I wasn't. Aug 21 - Told replacement was approved and I'd get a call with delivery date. No call Aug 25 - I emailed. No response. Sept 5 - Called. First rep said she couldn' help since it was an online order. Transferred, then told case number closed and a new case had been opened. Put on hold, &disconnected. Called back told the new case was closed. Put on hold,disconnected At this point, Ashley Furniture has delivered me broken furniture, closed multiple service cases without resolution, and failed to provide any replacement. I made a large purchase from Ashley at the Green Valley location. i included the extended warranty on all pieces. After 3 months of use, the couch and loveseat showed excessive wear, including pilling, pulled threads and worn armrests. Upon contact, I provided requested pictures and their response was that it was normal wear. Are you kidding me? I'm a 70 year old woman that uses the furniture to sit, read and watch a bit of TV! I then called customer service and spoke with a very apologetic young woman. She sent me her email and requested that I send additional photos and she would resubmit my request. It has now been a week and a half with no response. I have since canceled my extended warranty and will never set foot in their store again. The service is shameful. Trying to help a lady recovering from chemotherapy. She purchased a BTX4QN BedTech adjustable bed from the Ashley Home Store in Sahuarita AZ in March of 2020. She paid $159.99 for a 10-year warranty. The bed controls stopped working well over a year ago, and she has been unable to get any help with the problem since it occurred. She still has the receipt. I have recently stepped in to help but cannot seem to connect with the right people. The problem always seems to belong to someone besides Ashley Home Store (they keep saying Sam Levitz), but the receipt clearly shows that Ashley Home Store sold the bed and the warranty. I will gladly remove this review if we get the help we need to make the bed work properly again. If not, I will be contacting the BBB and local investigative reporters. read more

January 2022 I purchased a recliner from Ashley furniture, Green Valley, AZ. In addition I purchased a five year warranty. On October 2024 the chairs control melted causing the chair to be inoperative. The following day I went to Green Valley store with my melted controller and wa told someone would contact me in three days, No contact. I returned to the store and was told someone would contact me. No contact. My third visit to the store I was informed about the Bankruptcy of Sam Levitz who was the owner of the local Ashley stores. I was told my warranty issue may or may not be picked up by the new owner. The receipt I have does not show Sam Levitz as the owner nor did the store have any sign that Levitz was the owner. Had I known Levitz was the owner I would not have purchased anything from the store. My reason being the Levitz warehouse store in Minnesota that was a disaster that failed. After many contacts with people from Ashley I have no resolution. I feel I bought the recliner from Ashley and was misled by the Green Valley store and Ashley Corporate about the true ownership. SELLING A FIRE HAZARD. Avoid any powered sofa or loveseat. We purchased a sofe loveseat combo in 2022 with an extended warranty. August of 2025 we came home one day and tried to extend the footrest. Smoke started billowing out of the controls!! We immediately unplugged the sofa and used an extinguisher to quell the smoke. Ashley customer service and warranty department have been far from helpful. Turns out they are aware of this issue but are still selling this model of couch and have only issued a recall for a similar couch set that's slightly different (but shares the same faulty control panel that ours uses). Just a note to be aware of their so-called warranty on your next purchase. I bought and received a sofa and love seat ($6K+) and the sofa has a spot on the arm where the stitching in the leather is uneven that shows a small hole in the seam and causes a ripple in the leather around the hole. I got the "repair technician" out to take a look. "That's just an irregularity and we don't have a warranty for that" said he. It has to be shipping damage he said. Yous pays yours money and yours takes yours chances with Ashley. I did say that the salesman told me that they would fix anything that was not perfect. We have tried to get a couple of items repaired since July of last year. After several calls and several in store visits we were told Ashley has NO CONTROL over their service department and were escorted out the door by the store manager. We where pretty disappointed with our experience here. After already having a really bad experience last year with Sam Levitz/Ashley in Tucson we decided to give this Ashley location in green valley a chance. The location is convenient for us and the showroom is clean and spacious. The sales person who helped us was nice enough, but because they work on commission it felt at times like they where stalking us through the store as we just wanted to look around. We eventually find a couch and chair we want and set everything up for delivery. We picked the delivery date for about a week later and it confirmed it on our receipt at the store. We also confirmed it directly with the delivery company 2 days later. Then again confirmed the day before. Then finally the day of we sit around all morning get nothing. We called to check if it was still coming that day and they are now saying it will be over a month before they can deliver! We already the day before gave away our old couch, and at this point decide to just try somewhere else. We understand that things happen, people call out sick/truck broke down/furniture is damaged or whatever, but not having the courtesy or professionalism to call and tell us is unacceptable. We would have been fine to wait a week or two if they just would have called us, but instead waited for us to just wait around all day and discover it for ourselves when nothing is delivered. And over a month delay is unacceptable. Who knows if anything would have shown up at that later date. So we canceled our order and got a refund. So now instead we drove all the way across town to Marrana and went to American furniture warehouse. They had just as good of a showroom with a huge selection including Ashley furniture. We literally found the EXACT same couch and chair. They offered free in-store pickup that could be ready in 15 minutes or next day delivery for $75. Overall it ended up still being about $100 cheaper getting here instead of direct from Ashley? So now I'm sitting on our newly delivered couch that I got cheaper and with much better service writing a review about how I would recommend never going to Ashley. Genuinely feel bad for the staff at this store because no matter how nice of a showroom you have, in as good of a location, with as great of salespeople, none of it matters when you can't actually deliver the product. read more

We ordered an entire living room table set consisting of four pieces. If you ordered online, it was listing a three day delivery window. We wanted to see the pieces first, so we went to the store. We liked the pieces, but the price was cheaper online. They price matched but told us it would probably be two weeks for store pickup. An additional selling point came when it was mentioned there was stock in California and they would probably transfer it out. We paid in full via credit card. Yesterday was the two week mark. We called and have now been informed it will be until the end of the month. Meanwhile, they are using our funds and a payment, with interest, will be due before we even see our purchases. This is infuriating, as we pay cards before the due date to avoid interest, but we don't want to pay for something we do not have. We caution others about the deception. One has to wonder what kind of financial status Ashley is in when the vendors are not expediate with merchandise replenishment. Ashley is "using" our funds for ?? Oh, and the salesman's solution (repeated many times) - we can cancel the order. No wonder there are no cars in the parking lot! read more

This store seems to have it all. We recently moved into a new house and could easily furnish it with Ashley. I want to give a shout out to Alex, the very attentive young man who steered me toward a powered recliner set. I was set on replacing my worn out, traditional recliner, but Alex upsold me to an electric one. I thought, "Okay, sales guy, I'll let you give your obligatory spiel, but I'm still going with my old school chair. I was wrong! I've never been happier to be upsold, because Alex showed me something I couldn't live without. At least, I don't WANT to live without it, LOL. His supervisor, Luis, was great as well. He assuaged our uncertainties with COVID delays and other unflattering reviews left about this store. Ashley is great. Their parent company, Sam Levitz, is not. I think that's an important distinction. We happily bought a bedroom set from Ashley as well, but Sam Levitz turned an otherwise pleasant experience into a 10-week fiasco. Ashley's prices are pretty good, and they are willing to negotiate to meet other stores' deals. They will also price match any deals you find with Sam Levitz. Thanks Alex! read more

Ashley.com is the worst . I ordered $1k worth of furniture from the store and another $1k online. Because I live on a new street and my address can not be verified by google maps my .com orders were all cancelled after shipping and now I need to wait 7-10 days while the credit card refund is processed . In the meantime Ashley had delivered to my house and had been paid for over $1K worth of furniture so if they had bothered to check their records as I suggested the 8 times I called them they would have realized that they had been to my address. Our experience with the Green Valley Ashley store was like the three stooges only without any humor. In April we ordered furniture and scheduled it to be delivered after our move in July. Over the next months we received messages that it was ready. On the first day in our new location our rug was delivered. It was not the rug we had ordered. Then on July 30th. We went to the store to confirm delivery on Aug1st. Confirmed, it would be delivered between 2 and 6 pm. At ten to six the furniture had not been delivered. I called and was told, a manager had called and said we had rescheduled the delivery. We had spoken to no one about this nor had anyone called us. I asked to speak to a manager, there was no one available. I told them I was so frustrated I was considering canceling the order. A sales person later that evening texted me me asking how did we like our new furniture? I explained that we had been told we had canceled the delivery. She checked and said the love seat we had ordered was damaged and they stopped delivery. This was the first we had heard of the damage and reason the delivery had not been made. Next morning we went to the store and spoke with the store manager. Not one word of I'm sorry for all of this until Suzanne mentioned that no one seemed to care about this matter. He told us the order had been cancelled. We said we had not cancelled. after reopening the order he said a new love seat could be ordered and delivered in two months. When told there was the same love seat on the showroom floor, he said he could not let us have it. I told him we were going to walk around the show room and he could come up with a better solution. Like magic, when we returned, the love seat on the floor could be sold. Delivery was to occur two days later. On the delivery date, the love seat was again not included on the truck. Another call to Ashley. To make the tale even better, a large framed picture bought in the original order and delivered, had a chunk of the frame broken off.
