Worst service I have ever had in my whole life!! The sales rep selected the wrong bed set. The delivery driver was helpful but now, they say they can't get me the correct produxt for my son's bed for 10 days. Now my son has to sleep in the floor for over a week. The store manager will not talk to me. He won't even talk to their own customer service support team. Just piss poor service all around. I spent $5,527 on a reclining couch and two chairs. What a nightmare! The delivery was delayed three times. On the third delay I wasn't even contacted and it was already putting the delay at 90 days. At that point I had to claw, scratch, bite and complain which included going down to the store and pounding the desk. I finally got them moving but they were only able to deliver the couch and one chair. I had to repeat the whole process to get the second chair. Staff is friendly and super helpful. The only reason why I'm giving them 3 stars instead of 5 stars is because not all our items were delivered. We order a full living room set on 11/12. Our delivery date was set for 11/17. Till this date 2/18 we haven't received our full items. We keep calling and they keep saying they created a ticket and someone from corporate will contact us. Very disappointing since we are paying for items we did not get and when we asked for a refund they say it's a bundle package and cannot refund. Poor customer service and communication. read more

I would like to give negative star to the Ashley Dublin CA store. While selling they give supposedly extra discounts to attract the customer. In our case, made us pay $500 and asked to apply for a credit card with 0% APR, which for remaining $3000 which can be paid by installements , also there was an additional $250 discount for which document was provided. so far so good. Then the real story started. The $250 discount was never applied. We went to the store, called customer service 3-4 times and every time we were there we were told the discount would appear in the next billing statement. It never happened and we kind of gave up, since Covid started and stores were closed. Its been more than 2 years and we just kept paying monthly installments (less than $100 each month) and never bothered to check the statements, However this month I checked the monthly billing statement, found that additional $1700 interest has been charged. It looks like the 0% APR was for 12 months only and they never mentioned to us at the time of sale , however as I saw the statement today, I noticed it was written in small font in bottom of the document. I clearly remember them not mentioning anything about it at the time of sale and in fact telling up what a great offer I had! This is the first time I am writing a bad review in my life. This is totally unethical on their part. I hope someone from Ashley store Dublin looks at this review. Or at least someone looks at it and does not fall in similar trap If I get the contact of the CEO of the company I would contact him as well to at least let him know they follow unethical practices. read more

I'm a little late on this review.. but wanted to wait for delivery of items that we purchased. Let me start off by saying Karen and Joe are freakin awesome talking great customer service.. Joe helped guide us thru the entire store to find the right bedroom set. He ended up saving the best for last!! Because we ended up purchasing it. After joe helped us with the bedroom set, Karen came and handled the actual purchase. Karen she took her time in breaking down everything that we were going to be charged and etc. who doesn't like detailed billing.. These 2 went beyond to show customer service and I'm thankful my first Ashley store visit was experienced with them and we will be back to purchase more in the future. When I asked about return policy the sales lady mentioned we can return it in 30 days. After ordering it there was some defect on the product and asked if we can exchange or return it .. but they just told me no return policy! Went shopping for a bed - just the frame, headboard, foot board and mattress. Maybe a night stand and a lamp. Nothing fancy. It was like buying a freaking car. She showed us everything we didn't want, didn't have the stuff we found on their computer screen. She would write it up then the manager had to come do his thing and neither one of them understood we had a budget from the company to buy a bed, sheets, pillows and everything. We were there for almost 2 hours and were the only customers in the store. Nice furniture but I can go to Walmart and buy better nightstands for 1/4 the price. read more

We bought a couch here about 6 months ago and the experience was great, and we are happy with that purchase. So when we decided to get a new bed last month, we figured we would go here again. That was a big mistake! When we filled out the paperwork at the store, I noticed they entered my phone number wrong, so I wrote the correct number down and the sales person assured me that she would correct it in the system after we left. Well that never happened, because the manager called me a few days later to tell us the bed could be delivered early, but also that my number was listed wrong in the system and she would correct it now. Also, when we bought the bed they told us that part of the delivery package they would also pick up our old mattress free of charge. The only thing we needed was to go to Home Depot and purchase a mattress bag to wrap it due to COVID safety precautions. When the delivery came and I asked them to take the old bed, the guy said it wasn't included in my order for them to take the old one. I called the sales rep who didn't answer, and tried calling the Dublin store (who also didn't answer) and was directed to the general Customer Service line. They told me there was nothing they could do because they don't schedule special pick ups, those are only for same day deliveries, and she gave me the phone number for a company that I could have come pick up (which the number was no longer active). When I finally got a hold of the sales rep, she told me there was nothing else she could do except offer a $250 store credit, so I asked to speak with the manager. The manager told me that she could arrange for a special pick up when the trucks would be in the area next. Then I never heard from her again when she told me she would call me back the next day. I tried calling the sales rep (who now no longer works there) and she said just keep trying to call the store. It takes hours for someone to finally answer the phone at that store. If they don't answer it goes directly to their general service line, and they are not able to help with specific store questions. And they don't have a voicemail set up. I finally was able to get a hold of someone yesterday who wasn't able to find my account in the system based on my phone number (shocker!), so she took down my name and number and told me the manager would call me back. The manager is now off for the next two days, so I plan to go to the store and hopefully get an answer from her, because obviously calling is pointless. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. First off, being able to be contacted is the most important thing. If customers can't reach you by phone, and you don't give the option to leave a message, what are they supposed to do? Nobody wants to keep calling every 5 minutes in hopes that someone will answer. And own up to your mistakes as a business, and make it right with the customer. Or else we will be happy to take our business elsewhere. read more

I bought a bedroom set this past July and the bed is extremely high, the floor sample is very low, and I told the salesperson that I wanted the bed low just the floor sample!.....but I received the highest bed as high as my chest, I tried to return it or exchange it even for more money, but after I tried to do that the store manager told me that they do NOT have exchange or returns ! And if I have any problems I should "call the corporate offices"! We then received half of the order and still no response. Finally someone called a month later trying to set up delivery time for the dressers and I told them I wanted to cancel the rest of the order and return the one that we received. One of the reps I was passed to said she is sending someone from UPS to pick it up Friday and to leave it outside. I received no email regarding the return, no label, and no one showed up. Worst experience here. Save your time and money. We bought a sectional and dining table with 4 chairs. The sectional arrived broken. The delivery drivers didn't want to take it back and said they will replace it when they bring the table. The table was supposed to arrive on the same day as the sectional, but we received several different excuses on the cause of delay. So we told the delivery guys, we'll wait for the exchange. He told us someone would contact us about scheduling the exchange and table to be delivered. No one did. When we tried calling numerous times we were on hold for over 40 minutes. They said they knew nothing about the exchange and that if something is broken then the movers need to take it back or get a tech out to fix it. After arguing we were able to get a proper couch that we paid for. The drivers said they didn't have room on their truck to take back the other chair, but we couldn't throw it out or drive it to their Dublin store. So now it sits in front of our front door. Our dining room table arrived, two chairs were defected. So now we have to wait another week for the two other chairs. Good luck getting a refund, credit, or just what you paid for in a timely manner. There are a lot of more options in the area. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED! I will never spend another dime with Ashley Homestore! If you can get a manager on the phone, they either lie or they passify you and make false promises then become completely unresponsive by phone or email. The store manager Sara Rosales promised that the corporate office would contact us but they never did. We have sent numerous emails, made phone calls, left messages to try to resolve a simple issue after spending $15k on a top of the line Tempurpedic bed. They delivered us soft mattresses but we wanted firm. One sales manager lied and told us if we weren't satisfied that we have to wait out the first 90 days and take the issue up with the manufacturer. I spoke to Tempurpedic and they flat out denied this, saying the seller Ashley Homestore needs to address our concerns. We have now been stuck with paying for this $15k bed that is completely uncomfortable and causing back pain daily since October 2019. read more

I went to Ashley during Labor Day weekend and got a huge deal on a couch and coffee table. They even price matched other online websites. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the delivery men gave up on trying to get the couch in my apt. After 2 mins they gave up and took the couch back. Then the following day I called for my refund, I called everyday until I finally went into the store 4 days later. The people at the store couldn't even give me my refund, it had to go through someone in the offices, had to give my credit card number and everything on the phone. Very surprising. I think they took so long because they wanted me to find something else from the store. The furniture is great, the customer service needs work. read more

Love this store! Aisha took care of me and assisted me from start to finish! Very welcoming environment & all the workers there are pretty nice! Aside from the ambiance the store offered! Aisha was very knowledgeable on the products we were exploring. I ended up getting a sectional that I absolutely loved. I wish more furniture places were like Ashley Furniture and not like a used car lot! Aisha was not forceful and only showed me things I actually needed. Went to Ashley this past weekend looking for a Couch/Loveseat. We were met by Usharani who directed us to just what we were looking for. As we were able to make a quick decision based on her recommendations, we took a moment to look at livingroom sofas. She was once again right on as to what we were looking for. We were thinking of upgrading our dinette set. She took the time to show us numerous dinette sets. We had a specific size we needed. There were none on display. She looked on line for something we may like. While there, David (I think) came over to introduce himself. He too was helpful in suggestions etc. Hats off to Usha and David. Great representatives for the company. The only negative was the delivery fee and set up ($399) A little high when others are offering free delivery. All the great reviews are fake !!! They are eager to make a sale and after the sale they don't give a crap about you. We received our couch set with a missing chase piece which they promise to deliver on a next date then tell us a day before delivery that it's not available. It's been 2 months and still no chase piece. So now I have a couch set in my living room with a missing piece for over a month. They delivered the mirror to my chest piece without the chest which came a month later. I continue to call them and everyone has been extremely rude. Salina has been helpful to some extent but again I'm am still missing pieces. I've gone to this location 4-5 times and made purchases trusting them that my items will be delivered but I was wrong. The delivery date they give you is false and they don't even have the courtesy to contact the customer to tell them their item won't be delivered instead they leave it to the delivery driver to tell us our item isn't in the truck. I also purchased a Thornam coverlet which I was supposed to get within 2 weeks and it didn't arrive for the next 2 dates that they kept postponing. When the truck arrived and my coverlet wasn't there for the 2 deliveries I called customer care to only find out they have completely stopped production for that order !?? The refund process is also crap as they never answer. I have tried to constantly call this location to only get my missing piece of the couch and have not been successful. I will never come back to this location and recommend no one either as they are only greedy to make their sale and not care about their customers. ZERO stars. WORST delivery experience. 3 people came to deliver/assemble our furniture set and one of them was completely HOSTILE towards me. Yes, you read it right. He was hostile towards the customer. The other 2 people did their work with no fuss. Trouble erupted when they brought 2 pieces of desks instead of the 1 desk that we ordered. It turned out that the salesperson had billed us twice for our desk purchase and hence the delivery of 2 desks. What would you do as a representative of Ashley store in this case when you are delivering to the customer? You would try to sort it out, right? Not this delivery person. He accused me of not understanding things and started to get impatient with me. I was shocked as no customer deserves to be treated this way and I sternly told him not to treat a customer this way. He continued to remain hostile and even THREATENED to WALK OUT without assembling the furniture. Yes, you read it right. I just left the room then thinking that there is no point talking to such a hostile individual. He ended up completing the assembly of one desk and took the other one back to the truck. In the end, my wife called up Ashley customer service and got the unwanted desk purchase to be reversed. I would go on talking about the sales experience (or lack there of), but that pales in comparison to the delivery experience. This experience has left a very BITTER TASTE in my mouth as it not only SPOILED the purchase and delivery experience for me, but also rudely shocked as to why Ashley store would engage people who are hostile to customers. The net result is that I would not be looking at Ashley Homestore even with a Hubble telescope in the near future. read more
