My daughters and I went to Ashley Home Store on Labor Day weekend and ended up buying a couch, two end tables, and a table ( a set) Everyone was helpful although at one point it was a little awkward as two salesmen were arguing over who would help us. It also took longer than I thought it would to get the furniture ( delivered yesterday Sept 30) Delivery went well, although my time was changed from morning to afternoon since someone changed their delivery date. We walked in at 8.45 pm & were nicely greeted by floor manager who informed us that he's keeping the system open for us to be able to make our purchases. We were also made aware about the 50% VIP sale & we excitedly picked two paintings by 9.04 pm. When georgette went to ring us up for the stuff this floor manager shamelessly refused & said the max he can do is 40% as the sale is now off!!! I politely went to the floor manager & complemented him on the floor setup & asked to discuss this situation. He refused & walked away!!! It all started on September 6, 2022. I was in Fairfield Ca and stopped at the local Ashley store. I purchased a tv stand that needed to be delivered. The receipt states "ship date Sep 9". The 9th came and went, no tv stand. So I called a few days later and was told that the stand was back ordered until mid October even though I was told it was in stock. So I got a text message on Oct 7th for a delivery on Oct 8th. Eighth came and went... still no delivery. I called again and they gave me another date of Oct 20th but said I would receive a text or email to confirm. 20th came and no stand. So I called again being told I would get a text. So I move on the 21st and still no stand. I just happened to go to my old place on the 24th and it was on the porch. We go to assemble it and it's missing pieces!!! I tried returning it to my local store and they wouldn't accept it and the manager lied to us saying it was because each store has their own accounting system. Wrong!!! Especially since the Bay Area shares the same distribution center! They wanted to order me the missing parts but I cannot wait another two months!! WARNING: do not shop here. I just went to this Ashley today and had the BEST experience! As I entered I was greeted by Nadhim. He was such a pleasure to work with, had an awesome personality, was very friendly and just made the overall experience pleasant. Save yourself the time and hassle. The Dublin store has a big beautiful showroom teaming with salespeople ready to take your money. It all falls apart from there in the execution. Some background: The furniture itself ranges quite a bit in quality, and price. Some items are very overpriced, some are definitely worth the value. I made my first Ashely purchases ever in Oct and November in 2022. One online, and one in store. I will spare you the details but there were multiple issues with both orders that took weeks to resolve. The other issue was not resolved. All this resulted in multiple trips to the store (they can't help you with in store orders over the phone), and calls to corporate for the online order. My in store issues: I tried to buy a chair on black Friday after much discussion with a sales team member I was told it would need to be ordered from the warehouse and would be ordered for me and we would have to come pick it up in the store. Weeks later we call asking for a status update: turns out the chair was never ordered in the first place. And the price we had been quoted that day was no longer being ordered - they wouldn't honor the price. So we reluctantly decided to move forward with the higher price because we really wanted the chair. Tracking information was sent to the wrong phone number even though we had updated the phone number on the order twice including in person. We were told the item would arrive in a certain window yesterday. It never came. You can't call the store so I had to go in person again (third visit on this chair). Turns out the items are no longer available. That whole story was for ONE chair we tried to purchase. Their customer service team is separate from the sales team and works limited hours and often isn't available to help you even during M-F, 9-5. No chair. Three trips to the store. Total let down and waste of time. A separate online order for a coffee table never arrived. When I called headquarters told me it had been delivered. The tracking information on their website showed it was delivered on Jan 1, 1901. Yes, you read that correctly. Fedex had no information on it on their website. Despite this it took me three conversations with Ashely to get a refund for something I never received over multiple weeks. This was officially the worst retail experience I've had, times 2 since it was for two different issues. In summary: There is NO customer service infrastructure to support the sales team. You can find 6 salespeople on the floor and no one to help you with a return or delivery. Staff isn't well trained and gave me incorrect information twice. You can't call the store for issues related to an item so you have to go in. At this point, I just want my TIME back for all the hassle. It was honestly shocking. And after all of this, I was offered NO make good or compensation or accommodation of any kind. A company like that won't make it. Literally go anywhere but here. If I could give this business zero stars I would. I ordered furniture on 8/31 spending $4,159 with the delivery scheduled for 9/28. On 9/28 I was given a 4 hour window and only one piece of furniture came. I immediately the store and was going to cancel but was told by the manager Sarah that she would waive the delivery fee if I scheduled another delivery and kept the furniture, I agreed. Another date was given to me I waited 4 hours and at the end of that window was called by customer service and told the furniture would need to be delivered another day because their delivery driver was injured. Was told I would be contacted to schedule another day. I was never contacted, had to contact them and was told the furniture was delivered on the day I had waited. By this time I had spent 19 hours on the phone with people wondering where this furniture was and I had had it! I requested a refund and to this day have not received. I'm honestly at a loss of words and don't understand how it is this impossible to get a refund. We purchased a couch, love seat and char in September. The experience in the store was good, but we decided to cancel the loveseat. I am now going on month 3 with no refund. They've stayed a check was mailed twice to my house and it never arrived. I've now asked for it to be mailed to the store ... I still have no check. My wife and I went to the Dublin location looking for a loveseat couch for our home. We were impressed by the selection. We found a couple that would look good and seemed very comfortable. Things were going good, so we asked the young saleslady to check the pricing and availability, this is about where things took a very wrong turn! We were told there was a 50% off sale that ended , today . She got us a price for the two we were interested in, the price was much more than we had seen at Living Spaces , but Ashleys quality seemed better and my wife liked the comfort better here, so i was thinking this could work out. Then she started the upselling, we were "required" to pay almost $100 for delivery. I told her I would pick it up, but she said no and we had to pay almost $100 so they could pay their drivers. Then she told us we "had to buy their stain guarantee" at this point i was having none of this and was ready to get out of there quickly at which point she made a very rude remark to us. Well the good news is we went home, looked online and found the exact same couch ( much cheaper by the way) with FREE shipping to our house. So that salesladys greddy rude behavior saved us about $150!!!! This worked out great for us, but what I learned is NEVER BUY from Ashley Furniture store they try to inflate the sales price with a bunch of needless charges and fees. I am writing this review only because I ruined my money, my 3-4 months time, my comfort, piece of mind, and my trust because of Ashley Furniture store and I do not want other people make the same mistake I made. Please do not consider what I include in this review as my madness or frustration, it is an exact real story that happens to anybody dealing with Ashley Furniture stores. First of all, the whole company is scam and everybody (even their employers and their delivery guys complain about their lies and I heard lies from all of them) are mad at Ashley, and I do not know where some of these 5 stars in google coming from (I guess they make some fake accounts to randomly put 5-stars review for them if you look at their history they only have 1 review and it is Ashley). I recommend for ASHLEY review take a look at YELP (2.5-starts even with their fake 5-star review) or other online review platforms. I am hugely surprised how they have maintained in business in the US with this awful customer service. Regarding my experience with them, please be cautious (scared-scared-scared) of these names: DAVID, SAHAR, KALY, TOBY They are professional liars/scammers. Initially, they treat you as if they love you so you feel they are the nicest people. The purpose is to attract you and catch you in their traps. Their tricks to do that includes: Hey body come here I give you great discount (while the original price is 3 times higher), we protect your furniture for 5 years, push you to buy tonight because tonight we have a great deal and we want you to take advantage of our great deal, we have 48 months finances, and so on and so forth. Unfortunately, we were fooled by SAHAR (salesperson working in Dublin store) and she connected us to a so-called manage David in Colma store. They asked us to open a credit card for financing 2 days beforehand, but at the time of payment, David added 10% to the whole purchase because of financing. It was the first lie and we got a hard inquiry and credit score dropped hugely and could not use that with 10% more (we bought $11000 things from Ashly and with the finance, it was $14500). They are very professional scammers and do their best to catch you in a trap so you cannot decide. Therefore, we had to pay all upfront that was very stressful for us. Then David pushed us to buy a protection plan but we did not trust them to have protection plan. After payment (November 27th) they set our delivery for 3 weeks later (December 14th), while we were previously promised by SAHAR for 3-4 day delivery. The most awful part of the experience is after 3 weeks they changed the time of delivery 2 times and push it back to the very late afternoon. 3 delivery guys brought us some of our items. When we looked at them, we were shocked. After 3 weeks they brought us garbage, damaged, scratched, and even some floor samples instead of brand new. They broke my door, damaged my wall, hugely scratched my hardwood floor and damaged my house, and we only got only 25% of our stuff that looked pretty much like floor samples, although they charged me for brand new. Interestingly, it turned out the delivery guys faked my wife's signature (signature forgery) that I did not have any complain about $2130 damage they caused to my property (floor, wall, door, entrance Lanscape lights). After 10 times calling and spending 10 hours , they scheduled us for another delivery (January 5th) and promised to refund my delivery fee because of the inconvenience. New delivery guys brought the same items (broken, damaged, scratched, floor samples...). After that, we had 3-4 more deliveries (total I guess 8 times) every time something was missing and damaged. Finally, we had to accept all the garbage they delivered to us since we got tired of their lies and mental problems we had got from them. All in all, they are professional and educated on how to play with you mentally so you give up. The couch came and didn't fit! :( so we went back to the store and picked out a new one. Wayne really made all of this work. He had a great solution with a very chill vibe. Start to Finish HORRIABLE!!!! I was looking online for a few days and finally found the bar stools that would fit my space. I called the store and asked if they had them in stock. I called and waited 15 minutes before someone answered and then they hung up without saying anything. I called again and waited another 10-12 minutes. I finally got through and I was put on a brief hold and then was told YES they had the stools in stock. I drove 40 minutes to the store. When I arrived there was only 1 couple in the entire store besides myself as a customer so not sure why such a holdup on the phone. When I arrived I was greeted and asked what I was looking for. I told the associate that I wanted these specific stools. I told her the item number and she wrote it down incorrectly. I had to repeat myself 3 times with a confused I have no idea what your saying look on the sales associates face before I took the paper and wrote it down myself. I was then told they do not have them in stock. I said I called before I drove here and I was told they were in stock. I then spoke to the manager and he stated they don't carry anything in the store. I told him I call and verified before I drove here your associate told me they were in stock. He then proceeded to tell me well you could drive to Lathrop which is an additional hour an a half possibly 2 with Bay Area traffic if I wanted to pick them up. I told him they already wasted an hour of my time and gas. He then stated he could deliver them in 2 days however it would cost me an additional $59 mind you the price of the stool was $59. I told him why would I pay an additional cost when If I order online it would be free delivery. Who was going to compensate me for my time that was wasted. Horrible service and customer care. We ordered a sofa set at Dublin, CA location on Oct 31st and then changed our mind as the delivery was after the holidays. We cancelled the order on Nov 4th, and were promised refund within 7-10 business days. After 5-6 times of calling in, cannot get through anybody at the Store, the call center customer service team is unable to refund us. They want us to go to the Store since Store is not picking up the phone (925) 660 0480 (ext 2). I have heard others able to talk to the staff at the Store, can anybody share another phone number that would be answered. First time furniture shopping and what an amazing first impression this store has left on us! When we first walked in, we were greeted right away by Thomas - who ended up being our guy til the very end. He wasn't just a typical salesman who tried to push a sale on us and actually gave us a genuine experience since we were about to make an investment on furniture that we plan on having for a long while. Our first priority was looking for a mattress and he assisted us with getting accustomed to the tempurpedic beds. He actually helped us get set up with some pillows and used a couple of different functions to find our best comfort level. Since my boyfriend experiences a lot of back pain, we were able to find the most comfortable option that relieved that tension. He was understanding when we explored the different options and was supportive of the ones that we chose, which we could not be more happy about! After delivery I inspected my new chair only to find it was made in Vietnam. Horrible customer service experience. We have settled down for an Electric reclining sofa and got it delivered. No issues with the product. Problem started when the delivery guys forgot the power cable for one of the recliner and they dint care informing us what is the process to get the power card, rather they havent told us to contact store. Couple of days later (after waiting for the call back from the store) we called the store stating that they missed an power cord and they informed the information will be passed to the warehouse (no case raised or follow-ups) 4 calls after that delivery (no direct number, have to go throug extensive customer care) still havent got any proper reponse for getting the missed power cable. Very much disappointed with the customer service, need to think twice before buying expensive furtnitures at Dublin store. Ashley Home Store in Dublin, CA has terrible service. First, I had a date to have my new sectional couch and ottoman delivered, which was then changed several times after it was confirmed. Between text messages that were auto generated, text messages with my salesperson, emails, and phone calls from their warehouse, I was repeatedly told different things. It was not all pieces would be in, then different dates they would be in, then different dates for a new delivery. And I was told by my salesperson I would be compensated for all of this mess caused by them. Then I finally get things delivered with one small missing item. At that point, I found I could not use the new ottoman and one armless chair. I informed my salesperson of that. Then I received a call from someone named "Star" who stating she was customer service. and she had an attitude from moment one. Star stated unless the two items were defective I could not return them. I tried to explain that was not what I was told and that I could return them, as they are brand new and just delivered. I said well, I could just make the defective not really meaning it, just so Star could see how ridiculous what she was saying was. I asked to speak to someone above her, she Star, said she was it and there was nobody above her. Then Star got excited and her voice changed. She Star got loud and said the conversation was being recorded and if I needed any further help, I could go to their website. Then Star hung up. I mean, wow, what great service Ashley has. If you want to buy furniture and you are thinking of Ashley in Dublin CA, I would be careful or you may also receive very poor service.....I will never buy anything from Ashley again. A lot of wasted time! We are looking for a specific bench and their website mention that I can see it at store. Since Dublin was our closest location, we scheduled an appointment to come. I wanted to make sure that my stuff will be available as well as other items we wanted like a recliner rocker or glider, so tried calling. I called the day after and no answer, it led me to their customer service hotline. When I asked my questions, I was told to call their location again, hit #2 (when it rings, its ringing at your local stores), thereafter if I hear the Ashley commercial, drop the call and call again since I will be again redirected to their call center hotline. Oh well, in my head maybe they're just busy or short staffed. I called again Friday morning like 6 times and 8 more times in the afternoon, just because I don't want to waste a trip on a Friday night. We came in the store, we were greeted right away and taken care by Robert. He was nice, helpful, and did his best to answer our questions. As I have foreseen, the item we are looking for is not at the store, but Robert made an effort to help us find an item in the similar line so that we can feel the fabric and see the design and colors personally. My two stars are for him for helping us out at the store. Seems like their system is not updated because they can't even confirm if they have one in stock so he has to call. He even offered to text to make it simpler and we said yes. He asked for our phone numbers to give us a call or text the next day if it is available or not in their other stores or in their warehouse. Two days came and no calls or follow-up from him. Again, a lot of wasted time - from browsing their outdated site, calling for anyone at the store, and waiting for a call or text. After reading the reviews, seems like it has been an issue. My mother-in-law's friend also has the same experience having a sofa delivered with two different colors and didn't had it resolved after four months! So far, the bed that they delivered was nice, the only thing i didn't expect is the size of the bed is kinda big and it takes almost the whole space of my room, kinda bigger for my room. Dealing with Ashley HomeStore in Dublin has been a nightmare. On July 16th, 2020, my husband and I went to pick out a living room set with a couch, love seat, and recliner along with a coffee table and end tables. They were nice and friendly and said they could help with any issues and stated to contact them or return to the store. Ashely stated ALL pieces would be delivered on August 27th, 2020. On Aug 26th I called to get a delivery time and they told me they were running a week late. On Sept 3, the delivery arrived and placed the furniture inside, it was then we were told that the love seat was missing and would be delivered soon. The sofa was also damaged, which the deliverymen noticed and documented. I was never called for an update for the love seat and on Sept 11, I called to see what the status of it was and was told it would be delivered on December 22nd. They also have yet to contact me about repairing the sofa. I went back to the store to speak with them and was told they could not help me. I have spoken to corporate and they have said I cannot return the items since they were delivered and placed inside my house. If you purchase from Ashley, ask before they unload to see if the whole set is there or else they will not refund your purchase. It is Oct 5th and I have canceled the love seat, I still have an incomplete set. I have requested a refund and all they want to do is exchange the sofa for another one but will not return the recliner. This experience has been frustrating and a nightmare. They never call back and will not try to help you out. They just repeat that the contract says "no returns once delivered". They broke their contract with me when they stated they would ALL be delivered together. I have sold my previous couches and have no choice but to take their credit and purchase another set from this company but now they are saying that they will only take back the damaged couch for credit and leave me with the recliner. read more

Anyhow, I was assured my order would be here today. Then I get a call saying the sofa is delayed 3 more weeks. Go into the store, and they supposedly fix the PO order and it all should arrive 11/7. Okay quality furniture but "white glove" delivery was a joke. Crew assembled table legs upside down and chairs were loose. Had to disassemble and reassemble table and tighten all chairs as well as remove many exposed staples that could have injured guests if they reached under seat to adjust theirs chair position. Sent email to store manager who said she would credit delivery cost back to credit card so felt better about things. But then to add insult to injury the credit never arrived and store manager never returned any of my many follow up emails. read more

We used to love Ashley however they failed miserably this time. We placed a huge order trusting them and even agreed to delayed delivery due to Covid. However they kept lying every time on the delivery date saying truck broke down or some item is delayed further. It's impossible to reach the store over the phone and if at all we managed to reach them, Sarah their manager would never be available. She called us later however even her promises were fake. After 2 months of ordering we haven't still received all our stuff. These people lie and just don't stop, we have got the truck broke down excuse third time today and it's totally unacceptable. They are totally untrustworthy and we are never going back again. read more

This store doesn't treat customers as even humans. They make you wait long enough for no reason that people want to get out of the store. We were purchasing a decorative item, the associate did not help with picking the item. I picked it up with absolutely no help, from the corner of the store. And then she kept delaying asking for managers help. The manager is even more hopeless guy with no concern about customers time. He was reluctant to come over and help. He kept glancing at me and made me wait longer. I finally walked out the store and made a resolution not to go into this store again. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY HOME STORE!!! If I could give a zero star review I would. We ordered months ago from Ashley Furniture and went in multiple times, and paid in full for an entire bed set. We coordinated and ordered based on availability as we know there are a number of supply chain constraints in the current economy. On the day of delivery, the delivery driver came 20 mins earlier than the promised arrival time, and instead of waiting for me to get there (as I planned to be there at the deliver time), or even giving me the decency of a phone call, they left. When I called to inquire where the delivery driver is they said the driver left and my bed set and entire furniture was sold to another buyer. When I asked how that was possible given I paid in FULL upfront for an ENTIRE master bedroom of furniture, they said it's their policy if someone "does not accept" delivery - even though the delivery driver showed up UNANNOUNCED and had ZERO communication with us. We've been on the phone for hours and the "best" they could do is provide us with the same set of furniture with a backorder of three months...because it's feasible for my family to sleep on the floor without furniture for three months due to negligence on the business' side. HORRIBLE customer service. Every person we talked to was rude AND contradictory of each of their policies. SAVE THE HEADACHE!!! Go somewhere professional. read more
