I agree with the other review. Don't buy from Ashley Furniture and certainly don't buy from them online. If you do manage to get in touch with them their famous line is that someone will call you back in 24-48 hours. They just do this as a ploy to get you past their return policy so that they can refuse to return your damaged product if you are patient enough to wait through their delays in getting you the product in the first place. The bed came in damaged and they sent the wrong part to fix it. After two months without a bed we were tired of waiting and suspicious that they would even be able to ship us the right part to replace the damaged headboard and if they did it would likely come in damaged because they don't package it well enough to protect it. Then even after being given a return order number and a return pick up case number they refuse to pick up and refund the totally unusable bed! The worst customer service I have ever experienced! Will never purchase from Ashley again and will advise all my friends and family never to buy from Ashley. Go to Mor Furniture. I bought a 6 seater dinning room table for almost $2,000 and i would've been better off buying a used table than this bullshit! You can't put ANYTHING even slightly warm on this table without it completely staining white. I will upload a picture. Let's just forget about the huge white "burn" like stains on my dining room table from putting my freakin dinner plate (not a paper plate) but the built of this table is just pure trash! DO NOT SHOP HERE! The sales associates will try to convince you that they are giving you great deals just to get you to buy! I bought a sofa there and found advertised at that same location online for a much lower price. Every time I tried leaving the store the associate kept reducing the price with the illusion that he was giving me a deal. When I brought this up to the store manager he said that his associates don't know the prices of their furniture. Really?! Like other reviewers say they, LIE, LIE, LIE. Originally I was given a delivery date of June 28, 2018 but since they could not provide a time-frame it was changed to June 30 The customer service team is just as horrible. One sales rep actually hung up on me. On my delivery day (two-and-a-half weeks after purchase) the furniture was supposed to arrive between 11:30am and 3:30pm. Their driver showed up at 10:15am and then stated that they would have to re-schedule delivery for another day. At no point did the driver or their dispatch team notify me that they were at my home. I called the store manager and was left on hold twice for over 15 minutes. When I arrived at the store to speak with the manager once again I was told to wait. No one apologized for any of the bad service and then they stated that they couldn't process my refund. They finally arrived at 8:15pm and their delivery guys couldn't figure out how to assemble the sofa. The worst of it all they SCRATCHED my new wood floors! The furniture was a cheap "full 14 piece bedroom set) and the furniture only lasted a few years before it started falling apart. Not a big deal, because I got what I paid for. My issues with this store are now happening in 2018. Somehow (for some reason) in 2018 I have been added to their call list and over the past week, I have received sales calls from them telling me that they want me to come look at their sale/special. First time was fine, however, I explained to the salesman that I was not in the market for furniture. This morning, I receive a call from the "sales manager" stating that the gentleman I spoke with on Monday set me up for an appointment at 2:00pm today and she was calling to confirm the appointment and let me know that there is a $50 gift card for me. I explained to her that I did not set up an appointment nor am I in the market for furniture (again). Within 30 minutes, I just now received another phone call from them. I politely asked to be taken off their phone list and as I was asking, the lady just rudely hung up on me. They called beforehand to make sure that we would be able to accept the early delivery. What really made our experience great, was the day after purchasing the sofa and ottoman, we discovered that the website listed a cheaper sale price. I ordered a sofa from Ashleyfurniture.com online on 8/22/21, it was delivered 8/24. After unboxing the sofa, I noticed that the left arm of the sofa was torn exposing the white padding beneath the green microfiber exterior and upon further inspection, noticed that not only was the fabric torn, the entire arm was out of alignment and smashed into the body . I immediately called Ashley customer service and spoke with "Dev" and notified her of the damage and requested a replacement. I was asked to send pictures and told that the earliest I would hear from the agent would be 8/26. So now it's 8/26 I receive a call from "Dev" who informs me that a tech agent will be here on 9/3 to inspect the damage. This is unacceptable to have a giant box left in the middle of my living room, I cannot move comfortably in my own home and have to shimmy around this monstrosity for AT LEAST another nine days. read more

We walked in looking for a living room set, came out buying 3k worth of furniture ok... now for the amount of money you're spending at this place I'd expect their customer service to be a little more pleasant. First off the sales person was very unfamiliar with her product! We asked her about financing she referred us to other employees. We asked her about the 14 piece set we were looking at she would leave and come back with an answer. Point is we were there for a good 3 hours once we decided on the set that we best liked. She messed up our contract and I understand she may be new but this company needs to invest in training their employees!!! Now for the grand finale we paid about $200 for delivery alone, confirmed it with the salesperson, had it in writing... waited a week for my furniture to arrive on a day I was supposed to be at work for them to tell me I didn't confirm it through text and they decided to cancel it! I waited all day (because they don't give specific time frames) called at the end of the day and they told me it wasn't coming!!! Well hello we agreed on a date at the store and we had it on our contract! They made us wait another two weeks for our furniture keep in mind we have an empty living room during this time frame. Had a bad experience here. First time around couches did not fit through our door so we had to reschedule delivery. It took a week to wait for RE delivery... Day of delivery the movers never showed up! I waited 9am -12 noon as instructed, they could not call us to give us a heads up. A week wasted waiting for nothing. So we canceled our order, we had to go in person for a refund, refunds could not be done over the phone apparently. Once we got there and explained the situation. the staff never apologized for any inconvenience, they did not really show they cared about the inconvenience we went though. They just processed our refund and didn't care for loosing a sale/client. No sense of urgency from employees at all. Someone who is looking for furniture would like the pieces delivered in a timely manner, I think 2-3 days is OK, NOT ONE WEEK! FYI - our couches/set was about $2k total. ***BE AWARE OF RETURN POLICY*** I had two recliner sofas delivered on 7/26/2020, within less than 10 days I noticed a tear on one of the sofas. Multiple attempts were made to contact the store, customer service and the warranty and they all said the same thing "NO RETURNS" once you've accepted the furniture at home and to read the back page of the invoice. I'm now stuck with these what I now know to be very poor quality sofas. They really push you to get the warranty and now I know why but good luck putting in a claim. Horrible delivery service. When we bought our couch they did not mention that they only deliver big furniture pieces (such as a couch) to the third floor. So after waiting months to get our couch delivered, the delivery people arrive (without a mask on!) and let me know that they will have to take the couch back because it does not fit in the elevator (they didn't even try to put the couch in) and they cannot deliver it by foot beyond the third floor. Ashley needs to make the delivery process clear to customers. If I would have known this beforehand, I would have not wasted months of waiting and money on them. Received good help while there. I moved the furniture around the whole store to see what end tables looked good with my couch. They didn't seem to mind. Was able to get their credit card and paid the whole balance within 12 months so avoided any fin charge. Unfortunately, the micro fiber reclining sectional is pretty deflated one year later and the couch seats are wrinkled. The mechanics still work though. read more

My review is based on the QUALITY of ASHLEY furniture. I purchased a charcoal gray LEATHER sofa ($1300) 2 years ago and purchased the extended warranty from GBS (PROTECT ALL). I went to wipe up a chocolate stain with an actual "leather" cleaner and the color came right up onto the cloth. The warranty won't cover it. They won't cover because the couch is "discolored" not stained in their eyes. I will be writing a bad review on GBS as well, but wanted to warn anyone buying an Ashley Furniture leather sofa, that the quality is REALLY bad and they won't do anything about it either. Our initial shopping experience was ok. The used car dealership feel was to be expected. The salesman Khaled was friendly and happy to sell us anything in the store but once we ran into a delivery problem we never heard back from him. He took us over to the mattress section and introduced us to the manager who was the "expert". That "expert" quickly disappeared when we realized we weren't buying a 10k mattress. After hearing what a great deal we were getting on a mattress, bed frame, and a recliner we scheduled a delivery and left feeling like we were only slightly ripped off. We had to adjust our work schedule to accept delivery. Delivery guys were nice but showed up with a headboard that was not compatible with the rest of the bed frame. We returned to the store and our salesman said that for some reason that color was not compatible. We weren't happy but adjusted our Saturday schedule to accept a second delivery. You would think they would adjust their delivery schedule to accommodate a customer when it was their mistake. Nope... they text you day before with 3-4 hour window. Delivery drivers showed up and the 2nd headboard they had was not compatible with the rest of the frame. I contacted the salesman and he said it was a silly mistake and he would work on it. I told him no problem as long as the resolution didn't involve us clearing our schedule for a 3rd day to accept delivery. Never heard back from him after that. What happened to our friendly helpful salesman?? Not a problem... I'll just call and talk to a manager. Ha! Couldn't get through to a manager. Guy that answered the phone said the manager would get back to me. Called back the next day and finally was able to speak with a manager. After explaining our problem he offered $100 off a future order. I respectfully declined due to the fact that I wouldn't be shopping there again. Manager said he would get back to me. He never called back to follow up. We had to wait around for a third day to accept delivery and are now sleeping comfortably on our new bed. read more

I had a terrible experience at Ashley. I was trying to furnish my new home and needed many new pieces. I couldn't find exactly what I wanted so I kept going around and around the whole store for over an hour and a half. Every few minutes a different sales person kept following me around and pestering me. They offered to let me use their computer to scan what they had available online since I couldn't find it in store, however the machine was old and froze so I sat on one of their couches browsing the catalog on my phone. I heard the MANAGER say to another associate that she thought I was probably stealing designs to send to China to manufacture. I also kept hearing associates whisper "she's still here??" I should have left the store, but I couldn't beat their price. In the end, I purchased a dining set, couch, and coffee table. Even though the dining set was a "manager's special," I was able to get them to price match with their OWN website for another $150 savings. Moral of the story, go to Living Spaces if you can, but if you must buy from Ashley make sure they aren't scamming you and that you're getting the best price. In other news, I was able to cancel an item and reschedule my delivery without a hitch and the delivery itself was quick and efficient. I understand that everything is backed up due to CO VID but they will say anything to make the sale then keep delaying your order by "2" weeks until months go by. THE WORST EVER!!!!!!!! I order a sofa online then we Updated the invoice to include a billing address as well as a shipping address. On the delivery date, the day after Christmas, my girlfriend's birthday, the delivery team showed up at my PO Box a.k.a. the billing address. After much talk with the delivery person who could not speak any English then speaking to his dispatcher in the inland empire she informed me that there was nothing she could do. I told her that I had the updated email with the shipping address and she told me there was nothing she could do. Bought a couch with a bed in it. We then moved it to an apartment a few doors down in our building. Shortly after owning the couch (5 months maybe?) we heard a loud wooden CRACK and one cushion sank lower. Upon inspection, it looks like the crappy particle board they used was warped (not user caused, this is a manufacturing defect) and did not receive many of the staples/tacks they used to fasten it to the rest of the couch. Because we moved, the warranty is VOID!!! It took three guys to strong-arm it back together because, again, the board was warped. We were bending the wood straight to do the repair. We used many heavy duty screws and adhesive. 5 months later it broke again. Hooray, crappy particle board that shattered and let the screws loose. I've never been so regretful about a purchase in my life. I should have listened to my mom who said avoid Ashley because their furniture is poor quality. Never again. This review is only for a "TONY" that works at the customer service section in the front. We were sent to him for him to pull up our account on the computer and get the sofa model we had purchased in 2019. CLEARLY we did not know the name of it so when we asked if we can get the name of it looking it up into our account or credit card we have with them he responded with a blank face saying "i dont know how i would find that out i dont have access to that, you dont know the name of it". I replied with umm can you look up our name and number maybe it will pop out. We just want to see the pieces of the sectional to change it. He Finds our account and he said ok let me write them down. It was my first time shopping here and trust me it will be my last! I purchased a sectional couch, table set, Tempurpedic mattress, and a rug from this location about 3 weeks ago just to give you an idea of the amount of money I spent here. My in-store experience was good as I came in on a sale weekend but honestly save yourself the money and the headache! The first issue I ran into was finding out that I signed up for a credit card without my knowledge. Beware of this! They say it is a financing plan but it is actually a credit card. Needless to say that I was infuriated with them and when I called customer service they told me that I should have been told it was a credit card and that there was nothing they can do. The second issue is that apparently they have a no return or exchange policy but they do not tell you this at the time of the purchase. I received my rug a week or so after my purchase. And once I put it on the floor I realized it was not the right style I was going for. I called the store only to be told about the policy and after begging them they said they would see what can be done and will give me a callback. It has been over a week with multiple phone calls and I cannot reach them as well as their own customer service team. The customer service rep asked me to go to the store to speak to the manager since they are unresponsive. This is absurd to me that this company has a customer service call center that can do absolutely nothing to help its customers. In result, I have a store credit card I do not want and I have wasted money on a rug I cannot use. Stay away from this store!
