Five stars are for the employee who helped us ! The delivery process was fine and so far the furniture seems nice! We did have some issues with some bar stools we ordered. The stools were chipped up due to the boxes being all mangled during shipping but Ashley's did send a replacement part very quickly. We were helped by Lizeth Ortiz at the Burbank store she was very sweet . We love how she took her time with us and answered all of questions and made sure we were 100% comfortable with our purchase. She was super friendly and I feel went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our purchase experience! Employees like her are definitely the reason I will be returning to Ashley's for my future home purchases! read more

I only give a 2 star because the person who helped us was attentive and help full but so far our overall especie for our first time has been bad! We order all of our furniture on the 27th of December. Plans were to receive part of it on the 2nd of janurary and other part between the 6-15. Well on the 6 one sofa and our table got here. Now the rest of the stuff will not even here probably until the 11 of February. It's ridiculous how we're going to make our 1st payment before we can even enjoy Half of the furniture. When I got to the store, they refused, and they gave us at least 3 different excuses which started with "we don't price out of state". My first time ordering from Ashley furniture and the WORST customer service experience I have ever had in my life. This is not a review of products because I never even got to receive any products to review. Here is my TERRIBLE ordeal with them: - Ordered a sofa and a chair. They called to schedule delivery, missed the call, but I called back. Was given a 4 hour window on a Saturday and was told I would receive a call when delivery team was 30 min away. Like most people, since I do not have 4 hrs to sit around and am in the middle of a move, I went over to clean my old place which was 5 min away (it was my last day on the lease). Was banking on that 30 min advance call so that I could return to my new place to wait for delivery once I got the call. Well, I get a call from customer service telling me the delivery team was at my new place and had been waiting for me. I informed them that I didn't get the advance call but that I would be over at the new place to meet the delivery team in 5 min. Got there and they had left. I tried calling the delivery team and explaining my point of view, but the person who answered was INCREDIBLY RUDE AND HUNG UP ON ME. Tried calling back but no response. I took up the matter with customer service, got some routine meaningless apology, but I left it at telling them that I would be making an official complaint about the delivery team. - delivery was rescheduled but we never got to that because of another hoopla. I updated my address with my bank not realizing that the funds for the order had not been withdraw. They do not withdraw the funds until they either ship or deliver your items. I did not know this. In the interim, they charge and refund your debit/credit card every 6 days or so just to ensure the funds are available. Well when they tried to do this, in the aftermath of me changing my billing address, they were unsuccessful and sent me an email saying that my order was on hold. I called to rectify this situation, spoke with their financial department, was sent a link to update my card information and billing address. Did that while on phone with them and simultaneously was also logged into my bank account. Noticed that the transaction went through but WAS DUPLICATED. I mentioned this to them while on phone and they said must be my bank error because they only saw one transaction on their end.I said ok. - called my bank next day. Long story short, they said they couldn't do anything about the duplicates until the charges were finalized. They told me to call Ashley furniture and take it up with them. I called and after agonizing conversations with several people, was told that they could now see the duplicate charges and that they would start the process to cancel one of the charges. Hopeful and thinking this was the end of my ordeal, I asked if my delivery was still on schedule. They said no. I asked when it would be and they said someone would call me to reschedule the delivery. - At this point, I'd had it. Ten min or so after that call, I called to cancel my order. Needless to say, it was not a pleasant call. Purchased several items. Sales person was nice, not pushy. I'm giving them 1 Star because the delivery was a mess. The items I purchased were not available right away, of course I was told after I made the purchase. Had a total of 4 deliveries to get my furniture and still needed two more items. Thank you to KHALED for being so friendly and helpful! Recently visited Ashley Furniture for the 3rd time in the last 12 months. We previously bought couches and then the second time decided to go back for the large chair to match the couches. The third time we were looking for a new dining table. Khaled helped us out and took the time to explain the different wood options on the tables. He also explained the pricing really well. In the end, he was able to get us a good deal. Our whole family really liked him since he was extremely friendly throughout the process. (The prior time our salesman was not very pleasant.) On top of that, days after our dining table purchase, we noticed that the table was about $80 lower priced online. So we went in and Khaled happened to be working that day again. Working with this store was a complete nightmare. My first order didn't show because one of the delivery men became sick, I was called about 20 minutes after my four hour delivery window closed that this would not happen. I also of course had to miss a day of work, and received no furniture. They also would not make my delivery a priority even though it was their fault it was not delivered and I just went back into the delivery rotation. The second attempt at delivery did not work because someone marked my order incorrectly so it was not on the delivery truck. The floor manager Chris was of zero help when I went to the store to figure out what was happening. He would barely even look at me and passed me on to one of his employees. The third attempt the furniture actually arrived. The delivery team however said it wouldn't make a turn in my apartment. I asked them to take the couch out of the packaging and maybe take the feet of the couch and try. They would not even attempt it. Just kept repeating, "no it won't fit." I got my sales associate on the phone with them and she asked for them to take it out of the packaging and try and they would not do it. Yet again, another day taken off work with no furniture. While on the phone with the sales associate, I can hear her in the background talking to a manager and I asked to speak to this person. After I hear her ask, I can hear the person say no, they were not going to talk to me. I have yet to see refunds on my account. They have the absolutely worst customer service I have ever encountered in my entire life. I have never met ruder people in my life with zero interest in trying to help me out. I ordered a Bladen Full Sofa Sleeper, ITEM# - 1200036, for my man cave. It took about 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. Things went sideways the day of the delivery. I had paid with paypal. Unfortunately I had recently moved and not updated my home address with paypal. I had entered my correct delivery address on the Ashley site but old paypal address overrode the address I manually entered. The day of the delivery, I had taken a vacation day and when I got a text saying the delivery was going to happen within the hour, I noticed it was my old address. I called customer service and the first rep said there was nothing I could do but cancel the order and re order and wait for another 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I explained the situation to the supervisor. She informed me the first rep was technically correct because of paypal security measures, but she said she would call the delivery drivers directly and see if they would agree to the new address. They did. Long story short, the customer service manager was awesome, the delivery guys were very helpful (the room was a tight squeeze but they got in pro style) and the sofa sleeper is super comfy and looks like a million bucks. Worst customer service experience of my life. I cannot remember a single time where service was this bad. I purchased a living room set ($2000.00). Set was delivered, unpackaged, and assembled by the delivery drivers. During the unpacking of the delivery, the drivers noticed that one section of our couch was missing its legs. The driver did us the favor of calling customer support himself, and they told him 2 days to have the missing legs mailed and delivered to us. So, we figured why would we have them take back the entire set of furniture, if we only have to wait two more days to have the legs delivered? So, we signed and kept the furniture. I call customer support myself to confirm the shipping of the sofa legs. the representative said she didn't know what I was talking about, and that the legs would take at least 2 weeks to be shipped. On top of that, she was insanely rude, and condescending. She told me that I had to contact the store directly to fix this. So I call the store where I made the purchase. This must be a family owned business because the customer service rep who answered the store's phone was off the bat rude and completely unhelpful. I told her I would be heading to the store to figure this out. I get to the store, and speak to the sales manager. The sales manager tells me she's sorry but there is nothing they can do to speed up the process of getting the legs delivered. She's offering me store credit to put towards a future purchase (yeah right, like I'm going to spend more money there). The sales manager offers me $100.00 store credit, what the hell can you buy at Ashley's Furniture for $100.00? Nothing. The sales manager even suggested I buy a fake plant ($70.00) and even had the nerve to laugh as she suggested it. She then tells me it's going to be 3 weeks to get the legs delivered. At this point, I've heard 2 days, 10 days, 14 days, and finally 21 days to have legs delivered when it took less than a week to get the sofas. I asked to see the stores return policy...so get this...THEY. DON'T. HAVE. ONE. She tells me that once you sign and acknowledge that you have had the furniture delivered, it's completely out of their hands and there's nothing more they can do. Now, I have a $2,000.00 piece of furniture sitting on the floor that cannot be used. Backtracking a little here, the second rude service rep just happen to be sitting close by when I was speaking to the sales manager, I told her I thought she was rude and that google and yelp have several negative reviews simply because their customer service is so bad. She actually told me that they never read the negative reviews. I honestly laughed at this, what a shocker, right? I'd give this a lower score if it was possible. It's no mystery why a customer service rep who's pushing 50 years old is only answering phones at a furniture store, shocker right? I'd say, if you're going to shop at Ashley's Furniture, don't shop at this one. As I understand it, this one is managed, franchised, and independently owned from other Ashely's stores. Garbage service. And to the customer service rep at the store, I hope you enjoy your job and hang on to it for dear life, because you're almost obsolete. First of all the salesman Derek at this location took over an hour to process our order. We had to sit in the store waiting for a ridiculous amount of time. Not only that but when i asked if our premium delivery date was guaranteed he said yes. Which is a complete lie. My order has been delayed three times so far and customer service has been zero help. It's been MONTHS since i paid for my furniture and still haven't gotten it. The only updates i received were them telling me about the delays. When delivery is guaranteed and you're being lied to, you'd expect there to be some kind of compensation for their error and delay but nothing. If i could rate this place no stars i would. So let me start out with I purchased all my furniture from Ashley's furniture, then I got my CAL king bedroom set and I took them TWO months maybe longer to get me my bedroom set and they sent it to me in pieces, it's only been two years and I'm trying to do the warranty claim to find out that Ashley's furniture forgot to send it over my warranty to GBS and now GBS is giving me the runaround they can't find my warranty first then I spoke with Ashley Furniture they said they sent it and was supposed to add me in the email nope didn't happen,so I have been dealing with this for the last month and it's quite annoying I'm ready to take back all my furniture and tell them to give me back my money they're paid in full so they act like they don't want to help, I'm so over the back and forth, Young lady Bree from North Freeway said that she sent a email to corporate to have them call me back here it is 26 days later and I still haven't heard anything from anybody so I have a Tempur-pedic bed that is sitting on the floor because nobody's getting back to me this is ridiculous I am so done with Ashley's furniture I will never purchase anything else from them. I am currently shopping for a mattress and adjustable base. Walked in the store was greeted by a sales guy who tells me about the friends and family sale happening right now. He asked me what I was shopping for... I answered then asked if they too are part of the friends and family sale? He said yup... then walked me to the mattress area.
