Ashley furniture is an over priced, discount furniture store! They are jammed packed with stuff. The customer service is horrible. We went into the place and no one would even look at us or offer help, at first. Once we got the fast talking sales person, we ended up spending $6,000.00 on a horrible bed. My fault, I trusted the store but, should have definitely done my research ( hadn't purchased a new bed in many years) so forgot how things and people have changed. Their is no return policy for a $6,000.00 bed, no matter how new it is. Will never go into a Ashley store for anything. I predict this company will go out of business sooner than later. read more

REPORT TO BBB: My wife and I bought a new Trampton furniture set from Ashley furniture last month (Sofa, Love seat, Recliner). After the couches were delivered and set up we noticed that the two backs on the Love seat and one of the backs on the Sofa were crooked. The delivery people said that a technician would come out and adjust them. They never did. About a week later, we went in to Ashley to buy a Bedroom set, during our visit I told them about our issues with the furniture. They promised that we would get a call from a technician to get the problem resolved. It never happened. So, we made another trip to Ashley to see what was going on. They apologized, and promised that someone would come fix our furniture. Long story short, no one ever came or called. We have spent over $5,000 at Ashley in the past month, one would think that the least they could do is honor their "warranty". I have back problems and cannot use my new furniture due to the discomfort it provides me. Do yourself a favor, SHOP AT AMERICAN FURNITURE WAREHOUSE OR CONNS. If we cannot return or have our furniture fixed, we will be taking legal action. DO NOT SHOP HERE. read more

After earlier problems, finally got repairman to come out and fix the drawers. Not only did he fix the problem drawer, he also checked ALL of the other furniture we purchased and made adjustments wherever necessary. Horrible customer service. Had a bedroom set delivered and the bed was drug inside. Delivery driver was in a hurry to leave cause the bed was all scratched up. Called to tell customer service and had a guy come out with spray paint to fix a brand new bed frame with spray paint. Got a text message that the delivery would be here in 45 min and ended up being almost 3 hours later. Will never buy again from this company. read more

This visit was terrible. Lots of associates on the floor but nobody was very helpful. Everyone just standing around or on their phones. Worst 1st time experience ever bought my self a new mattress and box spring bought my kids a full size mattress and bunk beds was told they would be delivered in a week which was fine confirmed the delivery date and time come next morning they only have my mattress and box spring and my daughter mattress no bunk beds I asked where it was they said it was on back order. I was very upset at this point because they didn't tell me this when I made this purchase. Called the customer service and they said they simply just forgot it at the warehouse like it's no big deal and than I asked for when it would be delivered and they couldn't even deliver it for another week. Asked about what they would to do compensate for there mess up said they could refund me the delivery fee and was told it would go back to my card. a week goes by and still no refund to my card like they say so I Call their customer service just to be told I now have to go into the store for my refund. Warranty sucks, extended wasn't honored instead replaced table ( didn't say additional warranty needed to be purchased) same issue ( chipping) now we are basically out of luck and can't get the chips fixed due to no coverage. Had table less than a year over $1400 spend. I Will not be going to Ashley EVER AGAIN. read more

The store staff was good and helped us with our purchase and all questions. Unfortunately, that has been the only pleasant thing about our experience after purchase. We bought a couch, which was good and accepted at first delivery. We also bought a storage bedroom set, and 4 weeks after purchase and first delivery, we still do not have a complete bedroom set. We have made countless of calls to their customer service, who seem like they try to help, but when we call back, there are no notes on what we discussed. We are missing the rails / sliders to put in the drawers, and no one realized it was not in the original order after all of the calls we have made until today. Now we are being told they are on back order for 21 days. Our first payment is due in 20 days, and I refuse to make a payment on something we do not have yet. When I tried calling to get help on this, I have received absolutely no sympathy, and they say that is just the way it is. It is absurd and ridiculous we are being expected to pay for something we cannot even use or don't have. read more

It was delivered in a few days, with great delivery guys, who took care in assembling it and taking all trash away! I love the piece, it's exactly what we were looking for! I purchase a couch from Ashley furniture on April 24, 2022 on June 5 I received a phone call stating when we get the couch between 830 and 1130 on this day when the delivery guy showed up we asked him if he would kindly help move the other couch out of the way we went buy him lunch he then came back stating he needed $40 to do that once we disagreed and advise we would move the couch on our own he refused to leave the couch that we had purchased loaded the couch back up on the truck and took off we contacted the office we had another delivery schedule from June 8 between 830 and 1130 again no-show on Ashley got another message stating we had a delivery on June 11 now we're being told that the couch is on back order according to the main office they sold our couch to another customer the delivery guy was very belligerent when I asked him to leave the couch the first time on June 5 started saying the F word to me stating that I was yelling at him which I was not , I do have cameras inside and outside of my home. Don't waste your money with Ashley furniture and I just end up being a headache in the end I will never buy another thing from Ashley furniture after the way they treated me and my husband today and on June 5 and on June 8. read more

Beautiful furnitue, good quality. Refurnished our living room and two dining areas and got an amazing deal on the furniture. They delivered 24 pieces with only one small issue. Every employee we worked with from my sales people to the delivery and set-up crew were patient and did all they could to meet our needs. Lastly contacting customer service was efficient and issue of one missing item was resolved in 48 hours with prompt delivery!! read more

I'm a Latina with lots of tattoos and a doctor, but the Latino and black associates ignored me. They will not stand by a product they choose to sell even though their third party manufacturer denied a warranty unjustly. When I called to order two twin beds the one on the phone was very eager to sell me anything.

I had ordered a king bed online and ended up having to cancel my order due to the absolute worst customer service. I spent several HOURS on hold on several different days, half the time to be told I would receive a callback- which I never once got a callback, email or txt back, or I would get hung up on. Mind you, I finally got the order cancelled Monday and originally put the order in on August 23rd and the bed was supposed to be delivered 9/15. read more

This by far the worse location I have ever been to. When people say first impressions are everything always believe it. I was rudely acknowledged by the greeter right when I walked in. I still gave the location an opportunity to have my business because sale rep Jose worked so hard. They advised me we would receive a call the day before delivery which they called the wrong CBR, but we returned the call right away to be advised delivery will be between 12-4 the next day. When the next day came I had to call the location 32 times before someone answered. Then I was advise the items would have to come next week because I missed the call even after advising them I called back and the recording said 12-4. I was then placed on hold for 38 mins and 26 seconds allowing me time to drive from loop 303& bell to the location to speak with manager Omar. He stated I understood there was a mistake but nothing he could do. After I got upset he stated will I'll just waive the delivery fee and you should be happy and I would have to wait 5 days. He walked away to help another customer but that's when I noticed how he spoke and treated me was completely different from them. I truly hope this isn't a race things ... but then after I ask further question regarding the delivery he decide to add an additional day I had to wait. I questioned why did you add another date, he became upset and said I'm done dealing with you and we aren't shipping you anything have a good day! This is going to be long, but PLEASE READ before you plan on purchasing from this company!! My husband and I moved into a brand new house recently and were very excited to purchase new furniture. We had previously purchased from the Bell Rd location and had a great experience, so, we decided to purchase from Ashley HomeStore again, but at the Dysart location, around the beginning of May. Our sales associate was very nice and just let us browse, which we appreciated very much. We ended up purchasing an entire bedroom set, a king size mattress and box springs, and a sectional couch...over $10,000 in furniture. We were informed half of our sectional was back-ordered until the end of June. A little annoying, but we understood the sectional could be purchased in pieces, and it was possible the inventory wouldn't be equal. We were putting the purchase on our Ashley Credit Card, but were a little taken back that we had to pay the taxes up front. We had never heard of that being required, and it wasn't brought to our attention until all paperwork was drawn up and we were wrapping up our purchase. We went ahead and paid and were on our way. Upon delivery day, we received our mattress and box springs and half the sectional couch we were expecting, but our bedroom set order was wrong. They delivered the same dresser and nightstands, but the bed they brought was an entirely different bed not even in the set we ordered! Come to find out our sales associate entered the wrong bed on our order form. Ok, I understand mistakes can be made, but was still inconvenient. They left our mattress and box springs so we at least had something to sleep on, and said we would be contacted regarding delivery of the correct bed. Well, it took WEEKS for them to come out with the correct bed because, after confirming delivery with us 1-2 days prior, they would simply NOT SHOW UP. In addition to not showing up, they continued to attempt to deliver our bed to our old address, despite talking to three different people and having those three different people CONFIRM our new address and delete the old one after each attempted delivery to the wrong address. How is it delivery can come to the correct address the first time, but then delivery is continuously attempted at the old address after that? The lack of communication has been absolutely unacceptable! Once we finally received delivery of our correct bed around beginning of June (an entire MONTH after our original order) the delivery guys informed us that with the bed we chose and the box springs we purchased with our mattress, our bed would be over 5 feet tall. I am 5'1! They said the sales associate should have informed us of the height knowing which bed frame we were purchasing and should have suggested Bunky Boards instead, that box springs were not needed. So, we finally had our complete bedroom set, but were then left with two box springs that we can't use. We made yet another call to Ashley HomeStore and let them know we were not thrilled that our sales associate sold us items we did not need, and that we wanted to just exchange the box springs for the flat boards. They pushed back saying we couldn't return the box springs. The sales guys sold us the wrong product. That is not our fault. But they eventually agreed to take the box springs back. But, it took, yet again, WEEKS for them to deliver the boards and take back the box springs, because, you guessed it, they just wouldn't show up and continued to attempt delivery to the wrong address STILL! Our last phone call with Ashley HomeStore, we were told we would be receiving delivery of our Bunky Boards today along with the rest of our sectional couch that was now back in stock. Well, what do you know, delivery guys show up with NO COUCH! Nothing on the order about a couch, they have no idea what we're talking about. We've been on the phone with them multiple times a week going on TWO MONTHS now just trying to get the items we purchased delivered when they say they're going to be delivered, but we called again asking about the couch and their response was "oh, we forgot to put it on the truck". EXCUSE ME?! Considering the trouble we have gone through so far with just trying to receive our correct bedroom set, I would fully expect that it will take another month to receive the rest of our couch as well. The customer service is terrible, they don't show up when they say they are going to and they have zero respect for your time! We will be paying off our credit card as soon as possible and then never returning to or purchasing from this company ever again!! read more

Beyond stupid. Bought two recliners. Worked with a very nice helpful older(72) salesman Richard. Made arrangements to pick up later in the day. Showed up and customer service paged Richard to load my truck. I just had shoulder surgery and could not help much. I asked rep are you really expecting Richard to load the truck? She then asked a manager who shrugged shoulders and said Richard needs to do it. Richard came to do it and asked co worker for some help and co worker rolled eyes and reluctantly helped. All I can say is, "wow" (and in the worst way). I purchased a very expensive couch from this location less than two years ago. I have been having quality issues with the couch starting about 2 months after I purchased it. I have contacted the protection plan I purchased and found out that I was lied to in the store and I was told one thing (probably to get me to purchase the plan) but found out later that the information was not the case. I now have a $2000 couch that is damaged and "Customer Care" has all but told me "too bad so sad for you". Despite being a customer for years and years, no one seems willing to assist me with this issue. Do not purchase furniture from this location! It is poor quality and the employees are dishonest about the protection plans they sell. I had my last couch for 15 years (NOT from Ashley) with zero issues. Ashley's couch didn't last 6 months before it was ripped just from minimal use. How disappointing. I used to be a loyal Ashley customer but now I'm out $2000 and all I'm left with is a crappy couch that continues to have issues. Couldn't be less satisfied. read more

I went to look for a dining room table. The salesman tried to sell me the table for well over the advertised price...after negotiations I finally got a fair price. Then the table was three to four weeks out...the salesman said he would keep in touch. Six weeks later ! No word...I call and they say another month. They are horrible!! Bought an item back on 10/16, they told me it would deliver 11/18. Nothing came no call, I called again they told me it would deliver 11/21. Nothing, no call no item. Because this is long I needed to break it up. Please read first review first and continue here. I called to see if there was anything our salesperson could do to help. She remembered me and even recalled the three big pieces of furniture that I purchased. She wanted to help, and was very good at calling me back, but the situation was out of her hands. No one else from Ashley ever called us back. Frustrated with the whole situation, we went to the store the next day to cancel our order. I had the ladies at the counter call over the manager to explain why I was doing it so I would not have to repeat myself. Rick came over, acknowledged that he remembered me from being in the store, and I expressed to him why I was so upset. To save the sale Rick made me an offer that, quite frankly, was insulting. He offered to take $200 off, have me pick up the sofas myself from the warehouse, and he would bring the loveseat. Let me break that down. That would be a refund of my $100 delivery. Then, with the other $100 I would have to rent a vehicle since the sofas will not fit in my Honda Accord. I would have to pay for the gas to drive over 30 miles from my home to the warehouse and back and handle two pieces of furniture that weigh more than I do. If I missed the part of this that benefitted me in any way, shape or form, please let me know, because I'm just not seeing it. Rick was gushing on and on that he was trying to help but i had a hard time with his concept of help. He offered no alternative to this ridiculous suggestion. Additionally, he refused to look at, talk to, or in any way address my husband who was standing there with me. When my husband asked him a question, Rick would not even look at him. Well this ended up being a nightmare. I wanted to make sure that we got our recliner in time for my in-laws arrival. I was told it would be because it was in store. Well, I did not get it until almost a whole month later. I called the customer service number on my order (which is not the direct store #). And was told several times, that this was going to be delayed and that it was on back order. They agents also informed me that the salespersons always do this, just to get a sale. Say that it will be delivered on time and that it was in stock! Then when I finally get my order, the deliver guy was so unpleasant. set up everything and I told him the right side was clicking and there was a dip and he said it was supposed to be like this! WE WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN and I will make note to everyone to not go with Ashley Homestore. This was our 2nd shot at it and got the same horrible service. read more

This place is a joke! Bought 2 queen mattresses and box springs. Asked salesperson about encasements to maintain warranty and protect against bed bugs. She accidentally sold me 4 mattress covers. The manager would not let me return them. I even offered to keep 2 and him credit me back 2. He refused. I contacted corporate customer service. They never got back to me in the few days as stated. I called again. They had emailed store manager a second time because he never responded. Horrible place...beds weren't made well. Although my fiance and I had a good experience at the store itself (only after 1 salesman just walked away mid way through asking him a question). Their customer service and their "5 year warranty" protection service is crap. We spent almost $7,000 to furnish most of the rooms in our new home. The foot board and the dresser chipped off in chunks by simply running your nail over a tiny little bump. The kitchen table we ordered came broken and we had to wait 48 hours to hear from customer service before we could get a new one delivered. We ended up having to call them. FOUR TIMES. They can't get anyone to come out and repair the missing chunks on the bedroom set until a month later. Their furniture is cheap. Even their "high end" line is cheap. We got a great deal on furniture here, but the service was not ideal. The salesman was rude when I mentioned I had a pit bull and he didn't even mention that we would have to pick up our items in Phoenix until after I had paid for everything. They tried overcharging me (the listed discount didn't match the charge) and I wanted to make sure things matched before I spent thousands on it. Other employees were speaking in Spanish, thinking I didn't understand, saying how I should just buy it and deal with it. I needed the furniture, so I didn't make a big deal about it, but they should be way more professional and not make their customers mad. read more

Garbage leather furniture, less than 2 years old and will replace soon, just my wife and I, no kids, no pets, I weigh 175 and my wife is 105, I travel 2 weeks out of the month and leather condition every 60 days or so and still the leather has completely worn, can't even open the blinds in the house as our brown leather furniture is completely worn through where you sit... do NOT buy Ashley leather furniture, you will regret it, wasn't cheap either, we took advantage of no interest finance and the furniture will NOT last the payments... cheap junk read more
