I had bought furniture from here about 7 months ago and it's been a nightmare ever since. But really got 100x worse when the company switched. The customer service department with Yvette, Michelle, and we're trying to make things right and trying to fix my situation. The furniture kept coming in damaged I had to wait almost 4 months from when I bought it to even to get my furniture delivered without any damages I had my clothes in laundry baskets waiting. Than they finally came in and had damages. This happens twice. After I finally got my furniture I noticed the drawers were defective the way it slid out it rubbed against the drawer next to it causing paint pilling and also had an effect on how my drawer stayed closed. As that wasn't the only problem the drawers on both dressers would randomly open all the drawers started falling open all the time. Plus that wasn't even the only problem my bed fell apart. Like how does this bedroom set bed Frame break after a month and doesn't have a lot of weight on it just fall in. Started to get so frustrating! Keep in mind this is the expensive Corlayne bedroom set. So I had them come inspect them and they were supposed to fix the problems and came out twice just to inspect them and twice didn't get the problems resolved! Finally ordered a replacement on the tall dresser and it came in perfect drawers are nice and sturdy and stay in! They just forgot about the long dresser. I called back and was like what happened I told you guys about both dressers and you guys only addressed half the issue? I was told they switched to a new company which made everything 100 times worse. Yvette was trying to fix everything and make it all right and give me a call back to talk about things and ever since never got the call a For about a 2 months now. and now I call back and can't even talk to Yvette because she's in a different department. We ordered a couch and loveseat on black Friday weekend. We were promised a date about two weeks out. When the day before came and no call from them, we called. They said date had been moved and they weren't even going to call us. We had scheduled the 17th but, when I called back the very next day to speak to a manager they said we had nothing scheduled. They said they only had the 18th. Then today which is the 16th, furniture is suppose to be delivered two days from now, I called to make sure its still coming in two days since they don't bother calling there customers. The date was moved to the 19th. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was put on hold and then after five minutes, I was hung up on. This is the worst furniture company to ever deal with. We paid over 3,000.00 and as soon as they have our money they don't care. We are sitting in a empty living room because we had planned on having our new couch and loveseat by now. We tried emailing the company corporate but, again they don't care either. I tried calling the store, no one cares. This place is a customers worst night mare! Better go to american home furniture. I walked in knowing I needed an entire bedroom set and needed it delivered on short notice! Carmen helped me out and was unsure of whether it would be delivered by my desired date or not but called their warehouse to find out. By the next morning Carmen told me it was possible for them to deliver it to me within a wk when usually they need at least 2! I was moving overseas on short notice and they really helped me out by getting me my bedroom set delivered quickly. I cannot thank Carmen and the delivery guys enough, greatly appreciated! read more

ASHLEY HOMESTORE HAS DRAINED ME EMOTIONALLY, BUT HOPEFULLY NOT FINANCIALLY... I placed an order in August 2020 for a sectional. During the pandemic it's fair to be given a couple of months for your expected order to come in so with the arrival date of late October we were willing to wait. A BIG MISTAKE! It's now mid March 2021 and I'm anxiously awaiting my refund. I decided to finally give up on them after 7 months of waiting. After having several set backs on their end, half of our sectional was finally delivered at the end of November. Ever since then I've had this awkward couch that is bare and has the metal attachment sticking out for the remaining pieces to slide in just sitting there. Doesn't look the best when you have company come over and have to explain every time that your still waiting for the rest of it to be delivered. Also, it came with scuffs and scrapes around the bottom panel and a major tear/rip on the corner of the armrest like something was scraping against it. FOR 6 MONTHS my husband and I were patient with them even after being left in the dark with failed attempts to get ANY information. It was on a monthly basis that we would contact customer service and ask if they knew anything and I don't know if they just gave us dates that weren't true to just get us off their backs but it sure felt like it because this was ongoing month after month that they gave us expected dates of arrival and then nothing. We would not hear from them at all until we called them. When we did reach out customer service never knew what was going on and never had any new information to give me. Finally, during the last month I lost all hope of ever getting my furniture anytime soon. What did it for me most of all was customer service. Every other time I would talk to a representative they had a very careless approach to my questions and concerns. Their attitudes were HORRIBLE. I was hung up on at least twice and nobody cared to help me at all. They were never willing to resolve my issues instead they would argue with me. It's like they know they're not gonna be held accountable for how they act so they treat you with zero respect. I feel completely drained after dealing with them for this long. I feel like I'll never make another purchase from Ashley HomeStore again because of this unfortunate mess. In my opinion there a lawsuit waiting to happen with all these broken promises and unfulfilled orders to their customers. Funny thing was, when I voiced my concerns and asked for a refund two different representatives basically said to wait in line. I can't imagine how many others are in the same boat. Well after several long exhausting phone calls to them I finally managed to cancel my order for the remaining piece and they also picked up my couch. During the pickup for my return they were careless taking the couch out. They did not take the legs off the couch and instead decided to scrape my walls and door by trying to jam it through. It would've taken a few minutes to unscrew them but I guess they didn't care to. Now I have scrapes on my door and wall. So now they said that Ashley was going to reach out to me but I haven't heard from them yet. So once again I decided to take it upon myself to do it. They said they made a note and sent it out so I should hear back from them in 24-48 hrs. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. Worst Customer Service Ashley Furniture has the worst customer service! I called five times to talk to a manager each time someone picked up the phone and said "she would be right with me" I waited over 45 minutes to speak with her and she had no customer service skills either. My parents (84 years old) bought couches from Ashley's and now their on sale and she refused to honor the sale price. Myself nor my family will be purchasing any furniture from Ashely's . As soon as I walk through the door the sales associate offered there assistance. They were very nice and showed me all the new features that are out there while I am trying to fill my new house one room at a time. Horrible experience!!! I had purchased a bed frame and headboard three months ago and still didn't get any of my items. They scheduled me for delivery three times and every time they cancel the delivery the same day because apparently they cannot find it in their warehouse. I bought a Queen bedroom set from Ashley Home,Store on 10/18/18. Today is 12/7/18 and I have yet got my furniture from them. Every week I call them and I get told that it will be here in 2 weeks. That seems to be the way they get me off of the phone. I have talked to Rachel the manager who tells me I need to speak with the warehouse manager. The Customer service manager called me and stated that the Furniture will be in back order and has no way of knowing when the furniture will be ready to be delivered. She stats again will call me back. They will pressure you into buying the furniture and than call you weeks in to tell you the furniture is not ready. I am writing today to voice my concern of the level of service I have received from Ashley Homestore. My initial experience in the store was great and the customer service at time of purchasing my furniture was exceptional. Unfortunately, every experience I have had post ordering my furniture has been extremely disappointing. I placed an order for a sectional and a bed 6 months ago. I was informed that it would be a couple of months until my furniture arrived (which was understandable due to delays from Covid). I was surprised to hear that my bed was ready early and was supposed to be delivered on October 29th, 2021. Unfortunately the sales associate ordered the wrong bed and the delivery men told me that they get to choose the delivery price and that they got to choose whether or not they set it up (even though I had already paid the $200 delivery fee). After this I went in person to the Ashley store and tried to order the correct bed. I cancelled the order for the couch as I was nervous that I would be dealing with the same issue as the bed. They then were supposed to deliver the bed end of February 2022 but the delivery men accidentally ripped the headboard. They told us that we could have another headboard delivered that day but that did not happen. They then told us we could reschedule for delivery early March but on the day of delivery I called to confirm our delivery and they told us the headboard was on backorder. I went to the store in person again to speak with the manager and he told me that there was really nothing that could be done as there is no headboard in stock and no estimated date to have this in stock. The manager told me to reach out to him at the end of March for an update but I am concerned I will face the same disappointing situation I have been facing for the past 6 months. I am currently sleeping on the floor of my apartment and am increasingly feeling hopeless and frustrated that I have paid for an item I may never receive. I'm going to start of by saying my first experience at the store was good! My sales girl was great! I just wish I was warned that I wouldn't be getting the quality that I was being sold! Initially I was given a date for my daughters bedroom set then was contacted and delayed another week. When my furniture arrived it was set up, delivery guy asked for a signature and took off! Make sure you check your furniture before they run off!! I went back to the store, spoke with a manager named Michelle who promised my second set would be inspected to assure this didn't happen again. Well here we are another week later and that was a complete lie! The second set came out worse than the first did. My husband and I were here Sunday looking for some new furniture, potentially for our expanding family. Our sales-woman Ashley was amazing! She did not follow us around the store while we made our rounds trying to figure out what popped out at us. After about an hour of meandering through the store, Ashley came up and asked if we had any questions or if anything stood out to us. For the next 3 hours we slowly got closer to what we liked and a helpful tip from her is that there is no final price just in the store. You can price match with their online website which are based on corporate rates that are often lower than what is in the store. My husband fell even more in love with a recliner because of the $500 savings in the final price. Ashley was a peach to work with, the star knock-off is not her fault but simply the amount of time it takes to walk around and find what you are looking for based on the the design of the store. I visited this store on October 26, 2019 and purchased a sofa. I was told that it was in stock but because I live in a rural area of the state, it would not be delivered until Dec. 10. Several days later, I received a phone call stating that the sofa wasn't in stock and wouldn't arrive until Dec. 3 and couldn't be delivered until Dec. 17. Then the woman changed her mind and stated that they could deliver it on Dec. 3. On Dec. 3, I received a call stating that the sofa hadn't arrived and couldn't be delivered until Jan. 3, 2020. The next day, I called this store and spoke to a manager. She again stated that the sofa couldn't be delivered until Jan. 3. I told her to cancel my order. The manager then stated that I wouldn't receive my refund for 2-4 weeks. I asked to speak to her boss or regional manager. I was told that I could only communicate with the person via email. I pressed on for a phone number, which I eventually received. Only the number she gave me was for a call center. The call center didn't have the number I was looking for and suggested that I call the store. At this point, I decided to call a different store. I called the new store and was informed that the VP worked at the Albuquerque store. I was also told that the store manager could have written an emergency response ticket so that I could receive my sofa sooner. I then called the Alberquerque store and asked for the VP. I was told that she had left for the day but they would email her and have her call me on Dec. 5. At noon, when I hadn't heard from the VP, I called the store again and was told that Vanessa, the VP, was in meetings all day and they would again give her the message to call me. Later Thursday, the manager called me and said that she could issue me an immediate refund but I would have to go to the store. When I asked her about the emergency response ticket, she ignored me. I still haven't heard from Vanessa. This was my first time shopping at any Ashley store. I will never go back. This is the worse customer service that I have ever received at any store. I had one of the sales men help me with my order over the phone because I wanted to replace a bench for two chairs for my dinning room table. He did take note of that and told me about my delivery date. Well before that time came I received a call saying my items would be in to prepare for them. That time came then I received a random txt message saying sorry they've been delayed. 3 months later I received my items but before I could check them the delivery guy left. Once I opened the boxes up i noticed I was missing one chair. Since then I have been back and forth with them looking for my missing chair. They are no help all I got was an automated response requesting information about the items! After three whole days I finally had it with them and reached out to a group who helps people who have had trouble with these guys. The customer services at this location is horrible. When I first when in there to purchase furniture they were nice and helpful but once I purchased the furniture they could careless about me. I purchased furniture here and notice the price online had gone down $800.00 so I called the store and was told that I had to go into store to get a price adjustment since it was before the 30 day. So mind you that I had to drive 45 mins to try and get them to adjust the price. However when I got there I was told that if I wanted a price adjustment I would have to call customer service. I called on several days and was put on hold for over an hour. I was finally able to get a hold of an actual person so I asked for a supervisor but he told me that supervisors only help the people in the stores. I told him that I live 45 mins away and he said he would transfer me and see if someone would pick up. I waited on hold for about twenty minutes and Angelica got on the line and I asked her for a supervisor she state that her supervisor was out to lunch so I told her my situation and she told me to hold on so she could ask her supervisor what to do. I thought to myself "I thought her supervisor was out to lunch". She got back on the phone and said that she felt bad that I was getting the run around so she would contact her regional manager to see if they can help me. I still have not had a call back. I don't think the company so state that they will do a price match or price adjustment if you find a lower price for the same exact item and then they do not honor it. Beyond very unhappy with the customer service and 2 sofas I purchased at Ashley Home Store in Albuquerque. It's will be a year in August from the date I purchased my sofas and they not rectified the situation with my sofas. Shortly after the delivery in November the frame of one of the couches fell apart and it had a squeak that we could hear after a couple of days from delivery. I called and they sent a service tech out in late Jan he let us know that the couches were not broken but incorrectly manufactured and said not just the one sofa had the problem but the 2nd one also . He stated he could try and locate parts that he could use to fix them for use.but we would have to make another appt for that to happen after it took 2 months for the first appt to happen. That was not satisfactory after all I purchased new furniture and didn't want repaired furniture. Eventually we decided on an even exchange of both sofas that were to be delivered in March and then postponed to June then recently we were postponed for another 6-8 weeks tentatively. During this whole experience we have been in contact with Ashley Homestore and have experienced representative s that just do not to seem understand that we are storing there Poorly manufactured in the living room of our new home and informing our guests not to sit on them which I find ridiculous. Now that we have been postponed again we just want our money back . They said they cannot refund because we had the furniture in our home which I also find ridiculous as they could have come and picked up thr poorly manufactured furniture at any time but did not do so . They have offered a reselection option and I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I would get a call back but that didn't happen so now I just got off the phone and guess what I've been offered a supervisor call back once again ... My family and I went to look at some sofas and other living room furniture. Violet helped us and she was amazing! She was sweet, very helpful and didn't make us feel pressured to buy. She was very patient in answering my kids riddles. She answered our questions made great recommendations. Needless to say, we ended up buying the whole living room set. I purchased a sofa, love seat, and end table from the Ashley Home Store in Albuquerque, NM in September 2020. It was originally scheduled for a delivery date of November 2020. Due to Covid, however, I didn't have any expectation that it would arrive that soon. By mid-December 2020, however, I called the store to inquire about the status and was rerouted to a call center where they told the love seat was out of stock and to expect a delivery date in January 2021. The item was in stock when I purchased it in September 2020 unless the sales person lied to me about that. In early January 2021, I went to the store in person to inquire about the status of the delivery. I was told the end table and sofa was at the store and they scheduled delivery for January 23, 2021. I was also told the love seat would arrive at the store on January 23, 2021 but it would take a few days after that before they could deliver it. I went ahead and scheduled delivery of the sofa and end table while I waited for the love seat. When the delivery truck arrived, only the end table was on the truck. The delivery guy said that somebody else ordered the same sofa and it got delivered to them instead. The delivery receipt/paperwork he had me sign clearly showed the sofa and end table. He made a note that only the end table was delivered and said he would put in a "priority" request to have the sofa delivered the next business day. I called the store and was told that neither the sofa or the love seat had arrived yet and that is why it hasn't been delivered. Clearly this is not the same story that the employee at the store told me when I scheduled delivery nor is it the same story the delivery guy told me. Additionally, why would they put the sofa on the pre-printed delivery receipt if it was not in stock and not planning to be delivered? I tried calling the store but kept getting rerouted to the call center who said the sofa and love seat does not arrive until February. I expect there to be some logistical problems due to Covid but I did not expect a "reputable" company like Ashley to flat out lie to their customers about their mistakes and disorganization. I will go to the store in person to complain but I will not be buying anything else from this store again! These people are dishonest about their logistical/shipping errors. They should at least admit they screwed up and apologize rather than make false excuses. read more

Our sales girl Cristal was very heelpful and we had a wonderful time in store, however, when the purchase was made she had asked if we wanted the items to be picked up on different dates so we could get a few early or all when the last one would be available. We decided to separate the order and confirmed with her that we could pick up each of our 3 items on their perspective weeks. Well last week our first item should have been ready, after getting no call, I called the DC and they told me nothing was ready. I said ok things happen but then when this weekend we didn't receive a call again, I called and talked to the DC and was told that nothing would be ready until the 15th. And that everything was sold as one pick up date. I called the customer service center and was told that everything was put into the system as one pick up date instead of the 3 we had agreed on. She told me I could call the actual store, so I did. After calling the store the manager told me that "no, everything was put in for individual weeks" and that it must have been a manufacturer delay that there was nothing they could do. Everyone I have spoken has been very nice but being told one thing by two people (that the order is only for one pickup date) then have the third assure me that she was right and everyone else was mistaken. This doesn't leave me with very much confidence in the items or company. I get that things happen but if something is wrong with our order it would have been nice to get a call or email about it and when an issue was brought up I feel that someone should have offered a way to help fix it. read more

I placed an order for an entry table back at the beginning of October. It was supposed to come around November 5th. It never came and I had to call weekly to check on it...on an average of a 20 minute hold on the phone to reach someone each time. By the second week of December I gave up and tried to cancel the order since it was such a hassle and I wasn't sure if it would ever actually arrive. They said that I would be charged possibly 10% as a fee for cancelling since I signed a contract...even though the furniture never came and every week I would call they couldn't give me info as to when it would be there. I finally had to walk into the store and speak with a manager. He said that the store salesman should have told me that the date on the invoice is just an estimate and that it could actually take up to 6 months to get any furniture?!!! He cancelled it for me and said he would issue me a refund check and I would get it in the mail and not get charged the 10%. Now here it is almost a month later and I haven't received a check. So I'm out on money and every time I call they don't answer the phone or I get hung up on and when I do the online chat I don't get anywhere. Since I'm living in Florida now I don't have the option to walk back in the store until next month. What a horrible experience. I've wasted hours and hours of my time on this company and never even received anything from it. I still have to go shopping for an entry table now and am out on money. read more

I don't understand how anyone can complain about Ashley's. I have never had an issue with them correcting anything I needed. They have always gone the extra mile to ensure I was happy. They have been very friendly everyone I shop there. read more

Love my new couch and chair. Had a very pleasant shopping experience. Sales person checked in on me periodically was was very helpful when I was ready. No pressure. Really nice guys and beyond excellent service. Gals in scheduling help reschedule due to work. Highly recommend to those who love quality and great people to work with. Salesman over promised the world and under delivered. I bought a sectional coffee table end tables dining room table and two bed room sets. Everything came on the day it was suppose to but my sons queen size bed. They promised we would have it in a week. A week later they delivered the wrong bed. After telling off my Salesman he promised me another delivery date. Wrong bed again 3 strikes your out. I made them get the bed out of my house called a manager and told them to pick up the dresser and mirror or I would personally drop it off in the show room. Manager told me there would be a restocking fee lol my ass there will be she also told me to get the right bed it would be an additional 6 weeks but don't worry the bed you want is 200 more we'll waive that fee lol not happening. Today they picked up the dresser and mirror finally. The same delivery guy I kicked out picked it up I wasn't home unfortunately I had to work. My mother in law called me cause he tried taking down a huge dresser and mirror by his self a drawer flew out came completely apart and put 2 scratches and 3 dents in my stairway. She asked him why he did that and why he didn't wait for his partner or take the drawers out he wouldn't say anything and they just left without apologizing telling us someone will fix the damage nothing just left wow. Another thing with the coronavirus I'm a business owner cdc and department of health want people wearing gloves and masks why are your employees coming into houses unprotected? I will be putting in a complaint with department of health! I have video footage of them in shorts and a tee shirt no gloves touching my belongings and not wearing masks they didn't even sanitize so I had to clean and sanitize everything. nov 16 2019 approximate 4:30 pm we walked into the store not one person offered to help us there were a cluster of young ladies 2 and 3 cackling like chickens laying eggs they were really busy i sat on serval recliners and actually liked one that was there it had no price labled and sales people just walked by i tried to call for a sales manager 3 times and i was put on hold after a reasonable time i hung up i just thought management might want to know we wound up at American Furniture and spent our $2000.00 hope this help you if your sales is not up to par you ll know why by they way i really did like the recliner that had the extra feet extension on it read more
