Immediately after asking if this store has cocopotamus chocolate in stock, this rude lady said, "what?! Talk slower!". After telling me the flavors, this employee was eager to hang up on me, and I proceeded to ask, "when will you get more in stock". I'm not sure how accurate this answer is, but I was just told, "I don't know, maybe not for weeks". Just from this interaction, I will NOT visit or support this store. This employee was definitely not the owner, but I'm sure this is the same rude lady from Tammy's review. If you call or visit, be warned that there is a chance that you will interact with this lady and be treated like trash. Very nice.

The colors are vibrant. Their products have been good quality. And they are mostly affordable. I love their metal cacti lawn ornaments, from Mexico. Pottery (10% off) and ristras (20% off) also made in Mexico. This place always has other unique gifts too... "tortilla" coasters. LED chili pepper lights. Blue Q coin purses. Plants - including the variegated string of pearls of which I may soon be convicted of botanical homicide. It's not looking good and I am incredibly sad about that. Someday I would love to have a "root coffee table" from here. I have seen them at other places, but I really like Jackalope's.

Poulin Marketplace is an interesting place…read more Its main focus is home decor and furniture. It's not necessarily my style. A friend had been hyping up their design style, so when I heard they had a coffee bar, it seemed like a good excuse to go and check out both. Their aesthetic is new, antiseptic cozy. If that makes sense. Kinda like what a furniture store would look like if Hobby Lobby sold furniture too. Not terrible, just not my taste. It is cozy, so that's a plus. The coffee bar is styled in the same way, so it's also cozy, plus it offers a nice variety of fancy coffees. Normally, I mostly stick with a traditional latte, but I wanted to try one of their fan favorites. I had their Pear Spice Latte. Though I couldn't taste the pear, it was pretty good, like caramel candy. It reminded me of Starbucks' pumpkin spice latte. If you're hankering for a snack, Poulin's coffee bar has pastries, including cookies, and their customizable oatmeal cup. It's a nice space and was quiet the day i was there. The baristas are nice and very helpful. The building itself has a whacky layout. When I first arrived at Poulin, I entered from the southwest entrance, which is on the west side of the building. The receptionist said the coffee bar was on the first floor but you couldn't just walk there from where we were. You have two choices, the first was to go back outside and walk to the northwest entrance. Easy, but not fun if it's freezing outside and the person is in a wheelchair. The northern and southern halves of the building are separated by a wall with no doorway to access either side. There is a nice awning over the sidewalk between the two entrances so you'll be protected from rain and snow. Otherwise, you stay inside and either head up the stairs to the second floor or take the one elevator. Then you walk across the second floor to the stairs on the north side and take those down to the decor store, or the coffee bar which is located at the northwest corner. The logic is that they have separated the custom design/furniture department from their decor department and coffee court. Because I only looked at the furniture as I passed, I didn't see the prices. But the receptionist handed me a coupon flyer that seemed to have good deals. The coffee prices seemed in line with other places.

For it being a Sunday I have to say I was a bit shocked til I saw the Santa booth by the elevator and was reminded it was the holiday season so during the holidays they extend the hours. Anyways after walking around I found this shop. They had a lot of home decor, furniture, hand made blankets, apparel, geo rocks, novelties, jewelry, and so much more related to New Mexico. The blankets they had were so soft and neat, if I didn't have to buy Christmas presents, I would've bought one for myself. They had these dia de los muertos figurines that I absolutely fell in love with! The furniture they had was gorgeous! Wooden bed frames, tables, and even leather couches that were so comfortable and neat. The home decor items they had ranged from wooden sculptures to hand crafted metal figurines. They offered so much. Admittedly the prices were a bit high but it's to be expected for handcrafted products. The mineral rocks were gorgeous but pricey as well. Definitely didn't much under $10 but admittedly everything seemed very good quality so the prices I thought were fair. They are located where the old Zumies was by the elevator in the middle of the mall by the candle shop.

C'mon, there's gotta be plenty of Grease 2 memorabilia lying around. You couldn't give that stuff away. Instead we have a boutique that strongly competes for First Place in this highly competitive, locally-owned strip mall. This is an absolutely divine shop to find a gift for your lover, each and every item that hangs on the wall or shines on a table is clearly hand chosen and, from what I could ascertain, impossible to find elsewhere in the city. World-sourced fabrics, jewelry, sweets, coffee and eats, alongside plenty of locally derived stuff; while I shopped I was offered a taste of some absolutely delirious plum dark chocolate, ungh. Prices were on the hefty end but affordable, certainly not in the Married To The Mob range; the clearance table by the front door had some steals. My favorite products: accessories and bags made from "reclaimed" bicycle tubes. It's a small place, but there's a changing room for those that want to try on the clothing, which is intriguing (but alas no period pieces from Dangerous Liaisons). Most of the gifts were geared toward women, yet I found a few things I'd love to have as well.
