ok why write a review for a Target store? Well for me when an employee impresses me with great customer service it needs to be known by others. The employee "Hillary" (working the self checkout) was able to quickly fix a price issue I was having on a product. I ask about the phone number that the computer wanted, she explained the Target app & how it saves money for the customer. She also explained how the Target credit card would help me save even more, but wasn't pushy about it. She is one of the reasons I choose this department store over others & keep coming back. Store is clean, well stocked, great products, large variety/selection of items, & good prices. Parking lot is big enough for an RV & right off I-25. read more

Made my last trip to Target today. First off they are limiting self-checkout to 10 items. YET they only have 2 staffed lanes. Make up your mind... let us check ourselves out or hire some cashiers. Second, I just went by to pick up some socks. And they are locked in a glass case! F-ing SOCKS! Again, understaffed so no one unlocks the sock prison to allow a purchase. Never going back. Lately I've been busy traveling through town for work due to COVID19. I had to work over by this location and figured I needed to do my regular biweekly grocery run as my supply at home was running low. I figured since I was nearby might as well shop there. Walking in I was impressed to see someone up front wiping the carts with Lysol wipes. As I grabbed my cart and moved past the registers I noticed they had markings on the floor to keep people social distancing. Target never fails to impress me. I've been shopping at this retailer exclusively for the last few months now mainly because not only is it much less populated, they have an amazing rewards program called "The Circle". It's completely free and if you join you get 1% cash back applied automatically in your Target Circle account to use at anytime for every purchase except for alcohol and certain items are excluded. Everything else gets your rewarded. Target always keeps their floors clean and shelves stocked for the most part with the exception of certain high demand items. This location is no exception they definitely do their best to keep the place nice and neat for everyone. Keep up the good work Target! read more

Complete incompetence from the workers we came to pick up a order from the drive up that said it was ready for pick up we waited for 30 minutes before someone came up and said it was lost and they were shopping for it again another 15 minutes passed and another worker came out and said that they didn't have any in stock. We rarely, rarely, rarely go to this Target because it is far from our house. It is, however, right next to my husband's work but I'm the shopper in the house so that settles that! Ha! Today we ended up at this location because we wanted to score a specific pre-Black Friday TV sale and this location held the very last Philips 50" 4K 5000 series TV for the special price of $240! Woohoo! It was such a special deal that the electronics department held them in the back and you had to request it. PLUS they were offering an extra 15% off sales price AND 10% off if you applied for a RED card at the time of purchase! Excuse my French but that's one helluva deal! They also accept 30 day returns just in case there is anything wrong with the TV. Because of the great sales, the department was busy but we were thrilled to score our TV without having to brave the Black Friday madness! read more

We typically shop at this Target and find the service to be hit and miss. Tonight however, was a huge fail. Not feeling well, I placed a same-day delivery order for some much needed medicines and other items around 7:45 pm via the Target app. By 7:55 the app showed the Shipt person was shopping the order. I never saw any updates and after 90 minutes had passed I started calling the store. No one answered the phone in any department. Never got my order and the app won't let me cancel it. I like this Target location. It's very easy to get to via either I-25 or Paseo del Norte. It's also close to other shopping and restaurants, so if you're like me and had to drive a bit further for this Target location, you can run a lot of errands in one go. The parking lot is HUGE, so no worries about finding a spot. I've mainly spent time in the household cleaning and home goods sections, so I can't speak to the clothing or grocery, but it's a large store and it seems like they have a lot of inventory. They have ample self check outs, which is always a plus. read more

Target, you have my heart, but wow, your parking lot is always like the mall on Black Friday. This store is well-stocked, employees friendly, and it has an in-house Starbucks and hotdog/popcorn area. I go to it because it's convenient to get to, but I prefer other Targets that I don't have to contend with the frustrating parking lot configuration (by that I mean, to go west on Paseo, you have to exit at the far east end of the parking lot, make a left at the light, and then a left at the next light--aaaand both lights get WAY backed up. You *could* go out onto Paseo, fly across four lanes of traffic in short order, and make a possibly illegal U-turn... this I do not advocate). Use the Target app on your phone and scan your items in-store to see if there are coupons or discounts that can be applied when you check out (the Target app and the Cartwheel app are now one). read more

I love Target. This place gets more of my paycheck than I like to admit. This particular location is closest to my house, and they tend to get the cream of the crop when it comes to special events. The recent ABQ Force Friday was held here and they get a good selection of the special designer events (Missoni, etc.) that Target holds. I wish this store would convert to a SuperTarget, but that's a small detail. The Starbucks store inside is nice, and I could easily drop $500 here if money was no object. Great Staff. Poor managers. This is a combined account from two separate visits. The first involved my going to guest services to return an item. A woman was behind the counter. She never smiled or seemed remotely friendly. Another employee then went up to the counter to ask her a question. She seemed very annoyed. After completing my transaction, I asked the person who was cleaning the carts who the woman was. She said, "That's Anne. She's our manager for the front of the store." I felt sorry that employees are subjected to work under someone who has such a poor attitude and even worse communication skills. Hardly desirable attributes in a "professional" manager. The second time I am accouting is when I walked by their Drive-Up booth outside. A short man was barking orders at several employees who were gathered around him. "You need to listen to me!" he barked. He also said, "Pull the refrigerated items. I don't care if they sit out for a while! We need to get our time down!" Once again, I asked an employee who this person was and what his position was. The employee said, "That's Greg. Our store director." I thought, "Well, I'm never using their drive-up if my goods like milk, cheese, and other perishable products can simply sit outside for a long period of time just so he can reach some time quota. After this second instance, I've decided never to return to that store. I hope other stores in and around Albuquerque have far more professional managers who know how to communicate and don't put store goals above the well-being of their customers. This Target is a complete disgrace! I highly recommend you shop at another location. read more

It's Target. You know what to expect if you have been to any other Targets around the city and country. This particular one is in a good location in Albuquerque. The only thing you have to worry about is the horrible stench in a certain part of the parking lot. That funk will make me throw up. If I have to, at least the restrooms are near the entrance. Let's hope I can run fast enough inside instead of having to throw up at the door. This odor makes this Target lose three stars. Please fix this problem and announce it proudly when the unpleasant smell is gone. read more

In my humble opinion this is the best Target. I love the location and the parking lot is better than the one on Montgomery/Wyoming by bounds and leaps. It's always clean. My husband wishes I could make it past the dollar bin just once. And Freddy's is in the same parking lot. What more could you ask for!? read more

This is my favorite Target in all the land. Why? I'll tell you. It's clean. The store, the parking lot, the bathrooms- all clean. Always. I've never had a problem using a coupon, gift card, or receiving the orice listed. If there is a problem, it's always corrected quickly. Even when it's busy, the employees are helpful and kind. The lines are never crazy long, and you can check out in a reasonable amount of time. This location is generally well stocked, and they do issue rain checks for sales on things they don't have. read more

I'm at this store waaaaaaay toooooo much...but I'd definitely chose Target over Walfart any day! Today I went to Target in search of a clothes steamer/presser. They had a couple for a good price, one for $29 and another on sale for $24. The one on sale was not in stock. So...I took the sale price tag to customer service and asked if they do not have the item in stock can i get a similar item for the sale price? No problem...they gave me another steamer for the sale price. :) no bullshit, no issues. Good customer service, knowlegable and fast. Store is always clean and floor staff helpful. Meh. It's a Target. More or less like a Wal-Mart, except with red as the dominant color instead of blue. Also, no greeters. Electronics in the back, clothes on the left, pharmacy and bath stuff up front on the right. Food on the far right, hardware in the back right corner. Parking can be interesting here since it shares a lot with Lowes, so there are a lot of soccer moms in Suburbans and DIY/contractor guys in big trucks roaming around. There's also a Walgreen's nearby, which is a little redundant since Target has a pharmacy, but whatevs. read more
