I felt like I could not breathe and had trouble swallowing- it was bad! Then they put this very long camera up your nose and down to check your throat. The whole thing took less than a minute. I could see inside my nose, the back of my mouth where my tongue was and my throat . He asked me to say eeee so I could also see my throat opening and closing. It was strange for sure. I did ask to record their recording bc that's my body and my right. It was a scary experience but it was nice to learn more about my body.

In trying to get a copy of a test that was performed on me, I had to make multiple calls and in-person visits only to be given incomplete information and to be made to feel like a nuisance. Even the best doctors can be undermined by a lousy front desk staff...

The area is also frequently blocked or congested, and even nasal corticosteroids, allergy shots (I'm on the 2nd level of maintenance) and antihistamines aren't fixing the issue. This has made it hard for me to continue the sport I love, scuba diving. Another issue is that when the surgery was done, he didn't put the plugs/hard gauze into my sinuses to hold my septum in place while it heals. From what I researched, and checking with another doctor, putting these in is the best practice. Now it almost feels like it reverted, and got worse. I paid him in full for the surgery, and for everything, but when I went back for a follow up and explained the issues, he kind of just said everything is fine, but... it's definitely not. I left a review on Google, and even that he didn't seem to care. So it's alarming, because if you have trouble with Dr Hwang, is he really going to help you? Or is he just going to write you off, like he did me? I'm really hoping if Dr Hwang could help me get this resolved and actually look for a real solution to these clear issues and not just blow it off. Considering he's a doctor, and this is what he does, surely there's a way to fix it. If he ever makes things right I'll remove this. This surgery was partially successful, However, my primary reason for writing this review was that last year, Dr. Lee was very adamant that a salivary gland lump/cyst I had was nothing to be concerned about and several enlarged lymph nodes in my clavicle area could be looked at again in "several months". He knew I was a lymphoma survivor, yet said this, anyway. He was extremely arrogant and was very condescending. I then went to my prior oncologist, who got me a biopsy right away. It turned out to be diffuse large B cell lymphoma in my salivary gland. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone, unless it was something very simple for him to deal with. If I could rate him 0, I would do so.

Go to Dr. Murray for advice you can trust and have confidence in. I will never go to another ENT if I can help it! As a plus, he's down to earth and great with kids!

The baby oil provided no relief. The untreated itching got so bad over the next eleven days that I canceled my Christmas visit to see my parents. I saw Dr. Soltany on December 29, 2023. He immediately looked in my ear canal and removed some dead skin from my left ear canal. He prescribed the right medication for both my ear canals and thoroughly answered my question about next steps. My visit with Dr. Soltany definitely was worth the wait.

I called Cigna and they said this doctor is in network and HAS been taking my type of insurance? So this is discrimination on the part of the receptionist. Dr Mellis is wonderful. I have seen him off and on for years. This receptionist will be the downfall of his career.

But nobody, not even the good ones, can touch the level of care that Shor provides. He is off-the-charts smart, and he's dedicated to highly individualized care. He is open-minded but conservative, and his instincts are to be relied on without hesitation. He is also an exceptionally kind and decent man. When my daughter was quite ill and running low on options, Shor stepped in and saved the day. Since then, he's provided her with first-rate care as her general practitioner.
