During my initial consultation with Dr Bhatt, I appreciated his gentle, soft-spoken manner & his recommendations on what he felt would be best for my problem areas/concerns. I did not feel pressured or pushed to commit to anything on the spot. Dr. Bhatt was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions, making me feel confident and well cared for in making the decision to move forward with surgery. As for the surgery itself, I had AirSculpt + on my full abdomen, flanks, and underarms. Everything went smoothly, and my recovery has been exactly as described by the surgeon & his staff. I was extremely nervous the morning of my procedure, but the staff was friendly, attentive, and supportive throughout the entire surgical experience, which helped put my mind at ease. You will be swollen, bruised, sore, & tired afterward, but be patient & trust the healing process! I am one week post-op and although I am still healing, I can already see incredible results (my pooch is gone!) & am so happy that I decided to go through with the surgery. I am truly grateful to Dr. Bhatt for his skill & artistry, and to the team for their exceptional care. Go AirSculpt DC!!

There was no phone call or anything for aftercare or checking up on. I have two dents in the front from the procedure, which I am self-conscious about, as well as two dark marks on my back. Majority of the lipo was taken right above the flanks, which more should have been taken from the flanks to improve the contour. Now, it makes my body look square from behind and like I have a weird muffin top. Just wish I got better results for the amount of money I paid. The procedure itself was easy. There was some pain...but nothing crazy. I still look back at this and have regrets, knowing that I could have had a sufficient result if I went elsewhere. It makes me upset that I left feeling less confident about my abdominal area.

This review is long overdue for 2017 and recently for July 30, 2021…read more For many years the back of my arms were my enemy. I was normal weight for my height, worked out and would eat mostly healthy. But no matter what I did in the gym I was not able to get rid of this stored fat in my upper arms. I found Dr. Palumbo on Groupon and scheduled a consultation. I didn't really know the cost of what lipo of the arms would be, so his pricing at the time didn't turn me one way or the other. I think I called his office because of a good review that stood out to me. Anyway, the consultation went well. Dr. Palumbo has an easy going, direct personality with a great bedside manner. I decided to have my arms treated (2017) and WHOA! He removed approximately ONE LITER of fat total from both arms. After coming home, even though i was drowsy as heck, I put on a tight jacket and the arms already fit! I followed his directions and wore my compression garment. I healed very well and the tiny scars near my elbows are practically non-existent. Fast forward----- 4 years to July 30, 2020 - I am exercising, but at home now and my snacking, somewhat sedentary lifestyle was more common that of my usual routine--Thanks to COVID 19 :( For many months before this pandemic, I thought about my love handles and how much larger they were over my actual butt and even more so now with us being quarantined. Even if I lost a few pounds, the love handles still stuck around. I immediately called Dr. Palumbo and he suggested that not only should I have liposuction of the love handles/flanks, but in order to sculpt the body appropriately, he recommend that my lower and upper abs get done as well. Almost like a modified 360 lipo (where you go all the way around the trunk) that is so popular now. Reason being is that when you remove an area of fat, the surrounding areas that were not treated would then accumulate fat down the road (which I did not want). Obviously it cost more, but I am 8 days out and I would say it was the best decision going back to Dr. P. He removed almost 3.5 liters of fat off this 135 pound body. Yes...I had a HIGH body fat percentage! Again, I am following his directions, wearing my compression garment and I can already tell with some time and shrinking that I will have a much easier finding my abs. I was also up and walking around 8 hours after the procedure and worked at my desk the next day. Everything Dr. P. told me about post-op did happen so there were no surprises. If I have any fat left to remove, I will certainly go back to Dr. P I absolutely hands down recommend Dr. Palumbo. I am sure at some point, he will add my before and after photos! Or, I can post them at my next follow-up. P.S. His staff is great. Sincerely, Jamie

I would not recommend this doctor for any type of fillers. I bought a groupon deal a while back for…read morelip fillers on groupon. I should have known better and done my research. Dr. Palumbo struggled with my lips, and kept saying they were uneven and even cursed at one point because he messed up. He kept saying that he does this all the time and never sees issues. Which I highly question now. He struggled with the fillers and made them uneven and I had bumps which developed and are still here months later! I ended up going to a SKILLED place and they did an amazing job fixing my lips. Goes to show don't trust just anyone with your face or body. I would def think twice before going here!

After having six children, I had significant abdominal muscle separation (diastasis recti) that left me feeling defeated even after working out consistently at the gym. Dr. Kochuba repaired it beautifully, along with addressing the capsular contracture in one of my breasts. The results are truly amazing. I look like a new person. My abdomen is flat and strong again, something I thought I'd never have again! I feel confident in ways I haven't in years. From the very first consultation to the most recent post op appointment, Dr. Kochuba provided expert care. He took the time to listen to all my concerns, answered questions, and made me feel at ease. His attention to detail and surgical skill are outstanding. Recovery was great compared to most experiences I read about and I credit this to Dr. Kochuba's excellent surgical skill. He truly cares about delivering the best possible outcome, both visually and physically, and it shows in the results. The entire team at Austen-Weston was fantastic as well. Simone was wonderful (and patient, as I had many questions!) during my consultation, Katrina made sure I was comfortable and prepared the morning of surgery, and Anastasia provided caring support during my overnight stay, which I highly recommend adding on if you can. Even the Anesthesiologist did a perfect job and I wasn't even nauseas when waking up after surgery, which has happened every other time I've been put under. Every single staff member was professional, kind, and attentive. If you are considering restorative surgery, especially anything involving the abdomen or breast revision, Dr. Kochuba is the surgeon you want. He exceeded all my expectations and I am forever grateful for the transformation he gave me. Highly, highly recommend!

So, let's start with the positive: around 2001, I had a procedure here and was very happy with…read moreeverything. Recently, I went back for a second procedure, but this time after donating a kidney. The pre-op was a mess, including: - The practice contacting my transplant surgeon for clearance, even after I asked them not to. (At this point, she has no obligation to me except for routine monitoring. Plus, I haven't seen her as a patient since I donated four months ago.) - My "patient advisor" telling me, inaccurately, that they are concerned about my "liver" function. I pointed out that my liver function is just fine. - My "patient advisor" telling me that my (bad) kidney numbers "keep going up, up, up." That's simply not accurate. - The "patient advisor" telling me that they would give me Celebrex post-op. My response: "Um, no. As I told you earlier, as a kidney donor, I cannot take NSAIDs." - My "patient advisor" falsely telling me, apropos a possible discount, "As I told you earlier...." Again, that simply didn't happen. - The practice ignoring my PCP's clearance for the procedure and, instead, saying they would delay for two months. - The practice ignoring my nephrologist's verbal clearance for the procedure and, instead, saying they would delay for two months due to a minor blip in my kidney numbers. To be clear, they should have asked my nephrologist about a pre-op evaluation, not my surgeon. I'm pretty disappointed, as this was going to be my present to myself after kidney donation. To be clear: I appreciate their being careful. But when we are talking about my health, accuracy is key. And I am just not seeing it. Plus, while these inaccuracies may not be a big deal when individually considered, taken as a whole, they are deeply concerning. And I don't know how a patient can give informed consent when they are getting bad information about being given NSAIDs, etc. In fact, I don't know why you would give an NSAID to a patient post-surgery, but perhaps I'm missing something. I should also state, in fairness, that my patient advisor is very new, so that may be part of the issue. She also is not an RN, which is okay, but then she should have a high level of basic medical knowledge-like knowing that you cannot give kidney donors NSAIDs. I've asked for my deposit to be refunded and plan to go elsewhere. I'd love to recommend this practice, but I can't.
