NEW ***1 month update *** Dr. Widder ... what a wonderful doctor... he has taken great care of me throughout this process. He is so patient and kind. I can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. My follow up appointments have been going so well. I couldn't be more happy. Dr. Widder is so thorough and walk me through everything that he does. I've researched many doctors and have seen such horrible scars. Dr. Widder uses ONE small incision at the crease of the butt for the implants and it's healing up great. Other doctors use two different incisions and they are big and ugly. I'm so happy I went here. Money well spent. And thank you JoJo and Vanessa... (his office staff) ... you two are wonderful and so friendly and answer all my silly questions. read more

I was botched by two previous plastic surgeon, over the past few years I went through so much pain and complications, the poor performance caused me some tumors that had to get removed too. I had to do two surgeries, one to remove the tumors and one to make my breast to look normal. I was hopeless and worried. I decided to consult with Dr sholomo widder, he told me that he could fix all of my problems in one surgery. I can't tell you enough how grateful I am today, it's been almost two months, I have confidence and my problems are fixed too! i definitely recommend dr widder, he is kind and he is an artist. thank you Dr. read more

Dr.Widder is a very talented surgeon. I've had 2 procedures with him. Many years ago I had a tummy tuck. I've gained and lost a tremendous amount of weight between then and now and my stomach still looks amazing. I've had other doctors compliment my tummy tuck scar saying that whomever did my tummy tuck did an amazing job. A few weeks ago I went back and got an arm lift. Again, very happy and satisfied with his work. My scar is looking great! read more

I got breast augmentation with Dr. Widder. Words cannot describe how HAPPY I am with my results. Dr. Widder is a truly amazing surgeon! Let me give you girls the background. I had breast augmentation 10 years ago in Miami FL. When I first had them done, they were just OK, but over the years they sank down and I had NO CLEAVAGE. Well, Dr. Widder fixed all that. He gave me the perfect size for my height (550 ccs, which gave me a D cup because I was starting from a small B). The best part about it is that Dr. Widder gave me the BEST CLEAVAGE. He brought my boobs together because they were spaced far apart. I also have the perfect height and projection. Dr. Widder's bedside manner is so sweet and professional. Ladies, if you are looking for an awesome cosmetic surgeon, you need to go get a consultation at Dr. Widder. PS: Shoutout to Jo-Jo and Vanessa, his super sweet assistants! read more

9 months post surgery, hardly know I have implants, love the shape. Everybody loves my figure, especially when the realize I'm 62 years old. I got lots of attention and complaints last summer at the beach. Can't wait for this summer. read more

Well where do I start? I've been a faithful patient of Dr. Widder for over 14 years! A friend of mines had amazing boobs that had me staring, she rapidly referred me and well I've been hooked since. He is absolutely AMAZING! We've disagreed because I'm one of those patients that see what I want and pay to get it. He is a professional and knows what he is doing. Be he's also very experienced beyond my imagination. He will quickly tell you how it is and what he will not do on a patient, take it or leave it. I respect that although I throw mental tantrums when I want something in a magazine and he recommends otherwise. After all I'd said and done I'm always pleased! My breast were the first thing I did and that was 14 years ago (I was 24 after 3 kids). Guess what I'm still in love with them and many others do too. Lol! I'm currently 38, with 3 adult kids so it's not normal to have great boobs even after a argumentation and lift since it was done so long ago. Pain- it was just lots of chest pressure. Note: I fainted on the table when he was drawing on me because I was freaking out. He calmed me down I cried and woke up feeling like a truck hit me but I was so excited to see "the twins". 1 1/2 years later I had a tummy tuck. Boy ole boy did that hurt!! Omg it did! But let me tell you I show off my tummy more than a model. I had a tattoo to cover the scar after a year (the scar is huge) but again my stomach, abs are on point! After that, my most recent surgery was a type of rhinoplasty (well I had my nostrils reduced drastically). The first time was fine, but not to my likings (I wanted smaller nostrils) so I had him go back in and snip them again 11.5 months later. I'm a transformed woman but not to the point I look fake! He strongly suggest my chin implant, although I think the nose was very necessary. I went with the nose both times and I'm very happy. The tip wasn't touched but maybe in the future I'll have it snipped too. Overall I'm a happy gal. 100%recommended him to all my friends and family! Dr. Widder and his staff changed my life! Keep in mind beauty hurts and hard work pays off. The pain isn't forever and you're giving medications TAKE AS DIRECTED and you will be fine!!! The very best part is that the doctor (not his staff) Dr. Widder calls you the night of your surgery to speak directly to his patient to check on their status. I love that!!!! read more

This review is based solely on the results of the procedure performed by Dr. Widder. I love the result, the scars are minimal, and I'm very comfortable with him as a health care provider. Now if I wrote a review and included other aspects; such as scheduling, organization of the office, etc., my review would be one star less. Just one example of this is being asked the day before my procedure if I would mind moving it to another day to accommodate a change in Dr. Widder's schedule. Now it can't hurt to ask, but this is a stressful question for someone that has arranged their job, finances, and care-take after surgery, to accommodate a date that was set months ago. For me, even posing the question resulted in a feeling of panic that they didn't have their ducks in a row. However Dr. Widder has been doing this for a very long time, and I think the relaxed, somewhat laissez-faire way in which the office is run reflects this. I am going to return to Dr. Widder if I ever need any other cosmetic procedures, I have complete trust in his capabilities. read more

I have had several surgeries with Dr. Wider and feel that he is the finest cosmetic surgeon in the region. People in his waiting room come from over seas because he is so good. He is particularly good at tummy tucks and breast augmentation. My work was done more than 15 years ago and other doctors and mammography technicians still tell me that the work I had done is the best they have ever seen. In fact the mammography technicians have actually had me write down his name. I have sent a handful of others to him and they have all been thrilled. He is an artist who knows his craft. If he tells you to do a procedure HIS way, then do yourself a favor and do what he advises. After all, that's what you are paying for. I am 54 and my breasts still look better than anyone's my age, and usually even those 20 years younger. My stomach is still rock hard. read more

Dr. Widder is an excellent doctor. He answers all and any questions and gives an honest opinion. It is obvious to me, the daughter of a doctor (I don't think I ever mentioned it to them), this doctor loves his work. I went in for some moles removals from my face. Dermatologists wouldn't touch them, saying they'd butcher me. It has only been a short time, but it is clear my face will be completely scar-less. I am also one of those people who can feel every everything. He was extremely gentle. His staff is very attentive and friendly, and as nice a staff as any I've met. Dr.Widder indeed has magic in his hands. I would highly recommend him, and have already to co-workers asking re my face. read more

This review is based on procedures solely preformed by Dr. Widder and his staff. I am in my mid 50's and in a high-profile professional career. My goal is not as much "age-driven" however, in my position, it is important to look fresh and engaged. Through consultations with Dr. W he listened and understood my goals so I opted for a Partial Face Lift and neck "refresh". I am in week 2 and am very pleased with the results. From the beginning of this process, Dr. Widder, Jo Jo, and Vanessa have be very attentive and helpful. I have been going to Dr. Widder seeking recommendations for about 15 years. My first Partial Face Lift in 2008 was a huge success. I had surgery on a Thursday and was back to work on the following Monday. Even though it was effective, it was minimally invasive (meaning recovery was quick). Dr. W knows how to achieve the most natural results and exceeds expectations. I feel I am in safe professional hands in a clean environment. Glad he is not retiring anytime soon to "refresh" me in the future. read more

Perfect example of a doctor that should've retired a long time ago. This review is only based on a consultation. First off, I am fairly certain the front office staff are illiterate. One lady asked how I found the place (Google) and she spelled it "Geogul" (really??). Dr. Widder started showing me pictures of other patients (faces were not covered) of breast augmentations (I was there for a rhinoplasty). He said he was going to have to do "triple nose surgery" in order to get the nose I wanted and that my recovery would be very long. The office is extremely outdated and dirty. Take your money elsewhere to someone who will do a better job. read more

Just had my procedure on April 13, 2021 and I can't say enough about Dr. Widder and there are not enough stars to rate him about the new tummy he gave me, it's amazing. The bedside manner for him and his entire staff is phenomenal and I can't say it enough but I rate them with 100 stars.... Love them and if you want to see for yourself make an appointment and you will leave at ease and ready for surgery the next day.... money well spent, I promise he will not disappoint. Thank you Dr. Widder, Ms. JoJo, Vanessa and the little quiet elderly sweet lady that keep me company during my visits.... read more

The only plastic surgeon I would ever trust to work on my face or body is Dr. Widder. I'm a value shopper. Like most people I like to pay the lowest price for the highest quality so I work diligently to find the right deal---in everything. When I was super young, I wanted to enhance something about myself. I'm sure you can guess what so I'm not going to say it... So I followed Dr.Widder's practice, his ads and so on, Based on pure intuition, I smelled quality right away. When I was finally ready for the procedure and met him for a consultation, I instantly knew he was talented. But what i didn't expect was amazing pricing. So I had my procedure without any hesitation and moved on and lived a wonderful life. When I referred friends, they too were happy with their results. I didn't return for about 15 years (I know that's a long time). But when I did just recently to try botox for the first time, everything seemed the same, as if time stood still. As an older, wiser me, I appreciated the consistency that only a true professional is capable of. The office was the same, the same two women I had met over 15 years were still there which made me realize how loyal Dr Widder's nature is to have kept the same staff, almost like family. You just don't see that anymore. In summary, I've had 5 different procedures, minor and major with Dr. Widder and am very happy with the quality of work and standard of care he provided. I'm very dubious about people and worry about everything these days but when I look into Dr Widder's eyes, I find solid reassurance he will take care of everthing. I can't believe I'm writing this review. I never intended to let anyone know I get work done but I just want to help anyone else who is shopping around for great quality. read more

Dr Widder is a bad doctor who ruined my breasts and he is not experienced . please come to Scott Spears who is professional and experiences. Dr Widder is hungry for money and it is known for bad reputation. Out of 10 patients , 8 of them having real problems with him. Please stay away from that office or else you will loose tons money and you will have bad ugly scars on your body and face for the rest of your life. Stay away ladies! read more

Went to Dr. Widder for stomach procedure last year, he was knowledgeable and precise. His office personnel is nice but loopy, his office and equipment can use some remodeling but he was an all together good surgeon. Had an opportunity to go back for some additional nips/tucks but I opted on another surgeon (Austin Weston clinic in Reston) just felt more comfortable there. read more

This office clearly doesn't know what they are doing. I would gladly accept a call from Dr. Widder himself to discuss the behavior and actions of his staff namely Lynn- each time my wife called she didn't remember who she was or what it was for. She then proceeded to be very rude and yell explicatives over the phone and even hung up a few times. If this is how the office is ran I don't want to know how anything else here gets done. read more

Dr. Widder performed an amazing augmentation mammoplasty on me months ago. Afterwards, I wished I had followed his advice regarding implant size. So consequently, I recently had the recommended size implants inserted plus a tummy tuck. After only two weeks post-op., I am amazed at the results of both. I'm thrilled beyond belief and so impressed with Dr. Widder's skills and ability to refine and sculpt with such beautiful aesthetic results. read more

Dr Widder is the best thing since sliced bread!! He came highly recommened and I wish I'd met him before the botched breast augmentation I had in 2007. I consulted with 4 surgeons before I met with Dr Widder and they all told me the results I wanted were unattainable. Not only did Dr Widder deliver results other surgeons told me were unattainable he far exceeded my expectations!! He did an incredible job with my revision surgery and I am EXTREMELY happy with the outcome. read more

November 7, 2018 was the day of my tummy tuck procedure. It's been almost 2 weeks. I love Dr. Widder, he did an amazing job. I can't wait until all the swelling is gone and I can't wait until I get my breast augmentation done. Thank you Dr. Widder. read more

Dr. Widder is amazing!! If you are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable plastic surgeon, look no further! I am so happy with my breast implants! I am so glad I consulted with him. Hands down the best plastic surgeon in the area. read more

I went to Dr Widder to get a tummy tuck and he was TERRIBLE! I mean he was SERIOUSLY bad. There was no licensed nurse in the recovery room (only a "caregiver" of some sort but NOT an R.N.who could otherwise give me pain medicine), When Dr. Widder did see me in the Recovery area, he kept saying that I looked very "sexy," which felt a little gratuitous and creepy. I ended up with a post operative wound infection which he kept blaming on me for somehow contaminating everything.! Seriously, please DO NOT GO TO DR WIDDER!!! There are plenty of good doctors out there I'm sure but Dr Widder isn't one of them, though he sure tries to be one of the cheapest , and it shows. read more

I just had a consult at this office today. I went in to talk about breast augmentation. Lynn came and got me from the waiting room and said " oh I thought I was about to go home but you're here" and I already found that to be rude. Back in the room she started going over my paperwork and then told me to change into the robe which as I did she saw my breasts and said aloud " oh you have no tits you definitely need this". Which was also rude. She then proceeded to ask if I had any children and I said yes a 5 year old and she responds with " so you've been walking around with your boobs like that for 5 years?" These are all actual word for word responses. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She then proceeded to tell me what size implants she thought I should get after I told her I wanted smaller. Then she told me "well you're not a small girl and that would be too small". This alllll happened before I even met Dr. Widder. Lynn left the room and told me she needed a drink, and said " I need some Jack Daniels" and she laughed. She then came back in 10 mins later apologized for the wait to see the doctor. Then she went over the SAME things we had already talked about like my name, why I was there, told me I had no "tits" again, I think she has some form of dementia. I mean she is 75 so it's understandable. When the doctor came in he was much older than the picture on his website probably by at least 20+ years. He was very short with me and then left me with Lynn again. We then went over finances and she told me to give her a call when I wanted to schedule. Umm no never!!!! She was the most unprofessional woman I have met in a place of business. I felt insulted from the moment I stepped in the room. This was supposed to be a positive experience that made me want to go through with the procedure to help my self esteem but I just felt beat down even more by this woman. I will never return to that place!! I'm sure the doctor loses patients due to her manner. I've read another review and they said that she was Dr. Widder's wife so I'm not even sure if you spoke to him about her, he would understand. read more

Doctor Widder is amazing! He did a great job with my breast implants. He did the other women in my family, making me number 5. He did a great job on all five of us. His staff was great and friendly. Okay so I had my nose done at first it looked nice but I see a bump I haven't had before and Dr. Wider said I need a chin implant I think I know why I need it he explained to me that my face a little too wide and my chin will definitely give me a very attractive face. I derfinitely recommend Dr Widder he's a really good surgeon but I have to go back because of the bump on my nose I live 4 hours away but I guess its worth it. read more

Had breast augmentation with Dr. Widder in February. Very easy to schedule appointments and see the doctor. Staff is friendly. Booked earlier than I thought possible since the price was lower than I imagined it would be. Very happy with my results. Dr. Widder has a lot of experience and made me feel very comfortable. I was confident that I would be happy with my results here. read more

Horrible experience. I was scheduled for surgery on 4/4/17. 2 days prior to this surgery my daughter who lives in SC attempted suicide and was hospitalized. When the nurse from the hospital called me Monday night to update me on my daughter's status she informed me that the psychiatrist had 72 hours to see my dght and that my dght may be released on Thursday. I DID NOT cancel surgery d/t signing an agreement with Dr. Widder that I could still be charged for surgery if I cancelled. I proceeded to drive into Virginia from NC (8 hour drive) on 4/3/17 at 11:30pm. When I was 3 miles from his office on the morning of surgery Dr. Widder called me to tell me that he was not feeling well and HE needed to cancel surgery. Dr. Widder said he could maybe try tomorrow (4/5/17)-I sat in a local shopping center parking lot from 7:37am to 2:48pm because my booked hotel could not get me into the room any earlier. During that time I made numerous phone calls to my daughter in Delaware who was going to be my primary caretaker after surgery to not only tell her I was not having surgery that day but the Dr. wanted to perform surgery possibly the next day. Our original plans was for my dght and her roommate in Delaware to meet me in Virginia after surgery take me to the hotel. My dght's roommate was to drive my dght's car back to Delaware and my dght was to drive me back to NC Wednesday afternoon AFTER the follow up appt. with Dr Widder on Wednesday. She was then going to proceed down to SC Thursday to pick her sister up from the hospital and then return to my home in NC. We both would then come back to Virginia 7-10 days following surgery for drains to be removed and a follow up appt. I was then going to stay with my dght in Delaware until I was safe enough to drive. HOWEVER none of this happened. I informed Dr. Widder the morning of 4/5/17 that I could not get the care set up for me after surgery or be able to follow up with him on Thursday. He said the earliest he could do surgery was the following week. That very morning I went into Dr. Widders office to reschedule surgery and I was even willing to pay an additional $500.00 fee to secure the surgery date. Dr. Widder said that if I did not have surgery that very day he was NOT rescheduling it and he would "go after me for the cost of surgery,"- This MD did not care if I had aftercare, that my dght was to released from the hospital the following day and it was already planned to have my primary care taker pick up her sister from the hospital on Thursday. I tried informing the Dr. that I just drove 8 hours to have the surgery on my scheduled date BUT he was the one that cancelled and it put me and my care taker in a bind. This physician went on to say "doctor's get sick too," which is understandable but I feel I should have been able to reschedule the surgery. This MD not only WOULD NOT reschedule surgery he also proceeded to charge my credit card $9100.00. ness if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you're connected in any way to the owner or employees. read more

Dr. Widder was very professional and I feel like a new me. His staff is friendly and overall it was a great experience!

This review is a reflection on the attitude and rudeness of Lynn, Dr. Widder's office worker. I don't know her title but I know that she is not a doctor. I am currently having severe migraines and vertigo issues. After reading numerous post on silicon poisoning I realized that may be the cause of my current ailments. I called, asked to speak with Dr. Widder and Lynn asked me what was my issue. Once I told her she immediately said that I couldn't have silicon poisoning as no one in their office has ever complained. She went on and on belittling my ailments. I politely told her that she wasn't a doctor and that Dr. Widder should be the one addressing my issues not her. She then replied that I was "Pretentious." I responded to her that she was very rude and that her comment was uncalled for and that I would follow up the phone call with an online review. She then immediately denied calling me that. After reading another post here on YELP I noticed there is another complaint regarding Lynn. Obviously it's not just me. She is a rude, condescending person that should not be working in customer service as she does not have the skillset to properly and effectively communicate. read more
