Everything to sell, sell, sell and upsell. Nothing to care.
They get lots of reviews on Google because they pester customers with review invites after every simple bait-type appointments like cleaning and x-rays. (you just do not want to know what the "switch" stage looks like. Look below for "crown" and "filling").
Or that whole sales pitch, from the first step, about the invisalign etc for tonnes of money. You can get excellent night teeth guards and retainers online from reliable reputable makers for order of magnitude of $100.
Tactics akin to white rabbit "always in too much hurry to explain". Car dealers aggressive strategy.
By someone who thinks very highly of himself, in complete contrast with the reality.
Hushed or crushed employees, which you notice only after it starts repeating with every visit, or when you do not see someone any more.
It felt like being only a life support system for a crown, or implant or whatever other expensive dental work.
Plain mortal fillings are not liked here, and have not seen any kids around ever. Not much money in it.
He wanted to leave a quarter inch gaping hole on the side of a tooth where previous one fell off, and I had to insist to have it covered!!!
And then, you may think that it was a misunderstanding, because he behaves so guiltlessly even with biggest blunders and obvious sales tactics. But, when he then places a crown over a tooth where the sensitivity and aches have not been addressed, indicating an infection!!!!! That is downright dangerous, not just expensive. Your entire jaw may be at risk. Starting with infection spreading and root canal. You gamble a lot when you come here.
Or assistant (with "so many years of experience") who does not even know how to control the saliva with suction tube, who refuses to put the X-ray protection bib on you even though it is hanging there (claiming that emissions are low, while not being aware that malfunction can always happen). What does it cost her to just put it when requested by CUSTOMER! That assistant then became a receptionist of equal quality, not giving any clear answers, driving you in circles. Who gave such directions? What a place.
One better be very careful and not rushed, asking for clear and patient explanations. Have things in writing from them, with clear and specific descriptions, not generic. Since there is no e-mail, it has to be given right there in writing, instead of just being flashed in front of you, or told over the phone.
In absence of information from the source, one has to do a lot of research or Google AI search and dialogues when they give you any descriptions (you need to find out about the options they omitted).
I could have prevented all these problems just by not ever returning to the premises after the first exploratory visit. Should have learnt on other customers' experiences, instead of feeling it on my back. It is my health at stake, which is not to be played with it, Should have reacted to the very first alarm bells, instead of shrugging it off with "it happens to the best of us". It sure does happen to the worst of us, always, and at every step of the way.
It is good to get the gut feel by feeler questions, such as asking how come they have one business name there, another with the phone number, and so on. Asking how come they have other location, and what is with it. Asking how come they have only online form to initiated appointments (still not make them), not a contact e-mail to communicate with patients in writing, with a track record.
Then, by the answers, if any ifs and buts remaining, listen to your gut.
