I have never waited more than 2-3 minutes in the lobby before being called back to a room for my appointment, and once I'm in a room, I'm treated with so much kindness and comfort that I forget I'm even at the dentist. Everyone who works at Rhoades is incredibly well trained, gentle with their tools, and they explain everything that is happening thoroughly as it happens. In addition to the amazing ladies who work at Rhoades, holy cow they have top of the line equipment! From the X-rays to the cameras to make molds for crowns...(that's right-no more mushy mold making in your mouth!) they have the newest and best equipment. Bonus-they have every movie every made available for your viewing on the ceiling flat-screen. From the very first phone call, I was clear: I have real time constraints, and I did not want to split X-rays and cleaning into separate visits. I asked to do everything in one appointment. I was told that would push my start date out, and I accepted the wait to avoid multiple trips. When I arrived, I was told they couldn't do the cleaning that day and I'd have to come back -- the exact thing I'd asked to avoid. What made it worse was that I was surrounded by other patients who appeared to be getting their cleanings, so the claim that it couldn't be done didn't add up. The dentist found a few cavities, so on my way out I again asked to combine the cleaning and fillings into one visit. They agreed. Yet at that appointment, I got the cleaning, was sent back to the waiting room for fillings, waited about 20 minutes, and was then told the dentist was too backed up and I'd need to return -- either later that day or another day entirely. That's now a third trip for something I explicitly tried to schedule in one, and it doesn't even account for the deep cleaning or Invisalign still ahead. The X-ray process itself was also rough. The assistant handled the apparatus so aggressively that at points I thought my gums were bleeding from it scraping against them. On top of that, a second assistant had to come in and redo the X-rays because they weren't done correctly the first time. Between the constant rescheduling and the care I received, I won't be returning. Whether it's a scheduling problem or something else, the office here does not respect its patients' time.

In response to some of the previous reviews regarding payment of dental services, I would like to say that several times when I was given an estimnated cost of service, the actual fees were less than originally stated. I was not asked to pay the original amount and then wait for a refund. I was asked to pay the adjusted amount (which was a nice surpirse to pay less than anticipated.) As a senior citizen, I would recommend Dr. Moore and Dr. Tayhlor Sutherland to anyone who needs a little extra patience when having dental work performed.

Sadly, I was already thinking of finding a different place because her staff are unprofessional. This was confirmed last week. I couldn't remember my appointment because I usually depend on a text notification confirmation. I didn't get the text until after I called. I called 24 hours in advance to learn it was the next day but I already knew I would need to reschedule for the following week. The lady on the phone wanted to know "what was going on" that I could not come and would just cancel my appointment. Why do you need to know this and why won't you just reschedule? I learned that I would be billed because I did not cancel 48 hours in advance. That's fine however, It doesn't make sense to send a text notification 24 hours in advance when your cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance. You should maybe send it 48 hours in advance so people will know the policy and not get billed when you have not provided a service. That's TACKY!

The reception staff was very friendly and welcoming when I was making my appointment and when I checked in. The hygienist who took the x-rays and completed the cleaning was very friendly and gentle.
