They are very honest and they do a great job. I like their last technology and the staff are wonderful to deal with.

I've had braces as child. I had them on for almost 5 years. That was close to 20 years ago. As a 36…read moreyear old female, my teeth had shifted a bit and a small gap had opened up in the very front on the top arch. It was very obvious! I had an awesome smile for 20 years and couldn't imagine going through the rest of my life with a gap in the very front. With that thought, I decided to get braces again. Or so I thought... I had called around to at least 10 orthodontics office's in the Kansas City Metropolitan area and I had gone into more than several for consultations. I figured I'd need braces on the 6 teeth in the front. EVERY SINGLE ORTHO I called and went into for a consult, I was informed that they wouldn't do just the top arch. This meant that every Ortho wanted to put a full set of braces on even though the bottom arch didn't need them, but they refused to do just the top. As soon as I was given that information the appointment or phone call was over. There was no way I'd spend that kind of money on something I didn't need. I received estimates for a full set of braces at all of these businesses before leaving their office. The most I was quoted was $6,100.00 and the least was $3,400.00. The least amount was even for Invisiline Express. It blew my mind that a supposed "reputable" company would take advantage of a possible future patient like that. So, I kept calling around to get quotes, right? I came across an Orthodontics office called Hannah Orthodontics located in Shawnee, Kansas. I was excited after I called them for the first time. They informed me that they offered several solutions for individuals who had braces as a child but needed help as an adult. I made an appointment for the next day. Their office was clean, the staff was soooo kind & informative and the office had just been remodeled. I went through the appointment expecting to shell out about $2,000.00 for braces and another year of my life in braces. Dr. Hannah came into the exam room, looked at the x-rays and did an exam. He then informed me that it'd take about 6 months and ONLY cost $300.00. He recognized my top arch was the only thing that needed work and here's the best part... He could shift my teeth back into place using the traditional retainer!! I was so floored with that information that I started to tear up a bit. It's a bit embarrassing, I know, but to find an Ortho who wasn't in the business to take advantage of a patient was incredible! So, in the end, it cost me $300.00 and that includes the office visits I need to go back for so they can adjust the retainer. I'm now in a top retainer and my gap has started to close a month into wearing them. I would go to this business over and over and will recommend it to anyone looking for a great smile. Thank you so much, Dr. Hannah and staff!!!

My hygienist is gentle, thorough, and always takes the time to explain things in a way that makes sense. The dentist is knowledgeable and makes sure I'm comfortable during my treatment. Three members of my family--a 15-year-old, a 7-year-old, and myself--were all treated by Dr. Brendan. Every single one of us ended up needing another dentist to fix his work. Not one, not two--every patient he treated in our family required corrective care elsewhere. That's not bad luck, that's a pattern. We gave the office multiple chances to make it right. After repeat visits and no real resolution, we finally had to put our foot down and refuse to see him again. What made things worse was the experience with the senior dentist. His bedside manner with my young daughter was completely unacceptable. He didn't explain anything he was doing and repeatedly put instruments in her mouth without warning or reassurance. Watching your child sit there confused and scared while someone in a position of authority ignores basic communication is something no parent should have to deal with. The outcome speaks for itself. Our 7-year-old had to be referred to a pediatric dentist and ended up needing a tooth pulled. I had to go to an endodontist for a full root canal after what was supposed to be a simple cavity. These aren't minor issues--these are major corrections. But honestly, the worst part is what it did to my kids. My 7-year-old used to be completely fine going to the dentist--now she's scared and anxious. My 15-year-old has developed dental anxiety as well. That didn't happen by accident. If you're looking for a place that prioritizes patient care, communication, and especially how children are treated, this was not our experience at all. We won't be back, and I wouldn't trust them with my family again.

I was interested in getting Invisalign treatment and visited Dr. Harman's practice as they specialized in it. The initial consultation went well. The staff seemed helpful, and I met Dr. Heidi Harman. The assistant took detailed photos and X-rays, assuring me that they would email my information, pricing, and treatment plan by the next day to help me make an informed decision. However, despite repeated texts and calls over the next FOUR months politely requesting the promised information, I encountered puzzling excuses each time. Such as "Gmail is a tricky guy" Ultimately, they ghosted me completely and refused to release my X-rays to any other office. I'm deeply disappointed and confused. I had hoped to pursue treatment with Dr. Harman, but without the promised information, I couldn't proceed. It's disheartening to think that I could have been four months into the procedure, but instead, I faced runarounds from the staff, and my time was utterly wasted.

The original estimate was about 12-16 months start to finish, however a snag in progress has drawn that timeframe out. I expect to complete my ortho treatment during the upcoming year and so far am pleased with my choice of coming to H2O.

I advice anyone who is looking to go here to not do so. The office manager Rhonda broke part of my tooth off while she was applying the braces on. The worst part is that Rhonda gave me attitudes and a lot of sarcasm while I try to explain to her what she had done. She lied to the staff in the office saying that I repeatedly told her to "shut up." I would never speak to anyone in that way. I talk to everyone in a respectful way no matter what because I expect to be respected in return. Rhonda is not a nice person, she is not trust worthy, she lied to my face in order to make me look like the bad person in front of her coworkers. Rhonda is the office manage that was assisting the doctor Williams. I'm very disappointed at Dr. Williams for not putting a stop to Rhonda's false claims. At all time I kept calm at all times, that is just my character... After they put on my braces they did not show me my end results on the mirror they rush me out the door, as i was in my car in the parking lot i noticed on my car mirror that my tooth was broken. Because of me noticing not inside of their office they were not wiling to pay the proper fix for my broken tooth. They wanted my dentist to pay, I called my dentist and they said they ortho office was responsible. Long story short I'm not upset so much that my tooth got broken off because accidents happen, and its not the end of the world, me theres worst things out there like dealing with people like Rhonda an untrustworthy person, unprofessional. I refused to continue the treatment with them they took my braces off that same day they took the off. Dr. Williams made me swallow a bracket that had fell on my tough near my throat.
