I refused the treatment and they still charged me for all future procedures. They illegally made me choose between anesthesia and my right to choose or make me pay anyways. I have called and left messages but they refuse to answer and remedy the situation. So I already have it in the works through the dental board of kansas and bbb. Next is the cfpb.

Not one, not two--every patient he treated in our family required corrective care elsewhere. That's not bad luck, that's a pattern. We gave the office multiple chances to make it right. After repeat visits and no real resolution, we finally had to put our foot down and refuse to see him again. What made things worse was the experience with the senior dentist. His bedside manner with my young daughter was completely unacceptable. He didn't explain anything he was doing and repeatedly put instruments in her mouth without warning or reassurance. Watching your child sit there confused and scared while someone in a position of authority ignores basic communication is something no parent should have to deal with. The outcome speaks for itself. Our 7-year-old had to be referred to a pediatric dentist and ended up needing a tooth pulled. I had to go to an endodontist for a full root canal after what was supposed to be a simple cavity. These aren't minor issues--these are major corrections. But honestly, the worst part is what it did to my kids. My 7-year-old used to be completely fine going to the dentist--now she's scared and anxious. My 15-year-old has developed dental anxiety as well. That didn't happen by accident. If you're looking for a place that prioritizes patient care, communication, and especially how children are treated, this was not our experience at all. We won't be back, and I wouldn't trust them with my family again.

Telehealth is available, but keep this in mind for evening appointments when are battling rush hour and peak travel times. Availability: 2/10 The LSCW we were paired had limited availability. She booked clients back to back, with little breaks in between. This made it difficult to schedule anything with her. Her latest appointment was 8pm; which worked for us briefly, but it quickly led to her burnout and emotional unavailability to my child. It was also pretty difficult to get ahold of her. Initially, I had to reach out to the front desk/admin to relay a message or schedule an appointment. I finally requested her direct email to reach out, which slightly improved communication. Vibe Check: 2/10 The office itself is nice, but the vibe was way off to me. The decor reminds me of a dentist office in the late 70's, early 80s and smelled like the plastic bib they place over you before starting a cleaning. It just did not feel very welcoming or inviting to me. I always felt awkward being in the waiting room. I know it is not easy having your child go to therapy, but nobody looked happy to be there. It was the ultimate doom and gloom. Nap time: 0/10 During my child's sessions, the therapist would wrap themselves in a blanket and doze off. This was no surprise to me, as she scheduled her last appointment at 8pm. Eventually, she started cutting back her hours to be done around 5, but at that point, burnout had set in and the damage to my kid had been done. This is beyond unprofessional. Improper Termination: 1/10 I really do not think termination was properly done with my kiddo in a way that provided closure. Luckily, we were able to find services with another therapist, but there was just lack of communication and closure at the end of our time with her. Again, this is due to burnout, which is common with therapists that book the way she did. Overall: 2/10 I cannot recommend this Resolve location to anyone I love and care about. I honestly believe there is not great management at this location because I observed burnout and the therapists did not seem happy to be there. Overall I would definitely reccomend the office as the desk gals and hygienists are wonderful and so is Dr Hutchinson but I wouldn't reccomend seeing Dr Jessup. Also the location is kind of interesting to get to but once you've gone once it'll be a breeze to get to again. They do have a parking lot which I appreciate, and the office is very cozy and clean inside as well!

The first time I called and it was around $150.00. Then calling back to confirm my appointment the fee increased to $241.00. No reason could be given, so maybe it was the time of day or perhaps the charges the office had to bring in to cover its operation that week. Obviously, I cancelled. I've have never been to the office but it looks high dollar on the advertising picture and indeed it is. If you don't mind paying just to chat with their "expert" for 10 minutes, then this may be the place for you. Maybe they just want wealthy clientele, so fee "extraction" is easier.
