Incredibly overpriced in my opinion along with other electrician company I contacted. But honestly that wasn't the main issue. This was maybe the most annoying and oddest consultation of my life. From the very beginning I was being very clear that I only wanted my outlets replaced, nothing else. I reiterated this verbally in person. The technician, kept on trying to sell me a membership and additional services. I would say "I just want my outlets fixed" and then he would completely ignore me and go on to sell me about replacing the circuits. This happened over and over again. I would say "please I don't want this service" and then he would just go right back to other services. I actually couldn't believe what was happening. I was incredibly uncomfortable the entire time. For the 4th time, I was again very direct in not wanting any additional work. I literally said "I do not care for anything but the outlets". But he just didn't care and kept going for 15 minutes about working on my panel. Like oh my god, what is happening. It was additionally rude when I told him I was on a time crunch but then he still spent 30-40 mins creating an additional 4 quotes for the work that I insisted I didn't want. They straight up did not care about me and what I wanted. He kept saying I'm the top priority while also completely disregarding what I do not want. If a customer tells you to stop, please stop. I was incredibly upfront with the services that I wanted but this guy was on a mission to charge me $9356. I ultimately didn't continue with this company and reached out to another one who did the work for $300, which was the quote I also received from other electricians in the area. I truly do not know how they justify charging $2807 for only 6 outlets. Listen to the other reviewers. I had the same experience of the worker just looking for upgrades rather than what I called for. He spent nearly 20 minutes analyzing my electrical panels to see where he can charge me additional services after I just told him I only want the outlets. Stop trying to phrase this is for your customers when you blatantly ignore their needs and wants. This was such a weird experience and I lost $89 for the dispatch fee.

They were very professional, friendly, efficient and thoughtful of our home. Before starting to install the final fan in the great room (with a 20-foot ceiling), they first had to maneuver a 16-foot step ladder into the house and room which was not easy due to the size and weight. Once they started to work on the install, they discovered that I didn't buy a fan for such a steep sloped ceiling. They repackaged the fan and wrapped up the job. Bottom line, Gunther's team members Alex and Brad did an awesome job. I'm having them back to do the great room fan after I get a new unit.

They were very nice, respectful, and the overall experience was great. Until, a few months later my uncle was in my garage and he noticed something about our electrical. He called my husband and myself over and asked us a few questions. He then explained to us that several of our outlets and switches in the garage/laundry room were wrong; He explained that my 15amp outlets are on a 30amp breaker labeled (by all American) as water heater. But our water heater is gas. Not only is this against code but highly dangerous, as if anything sparks or overloads the breaker won't shut off. I called all American electric and explained what we found. Thinking that since they had been so great that they would come out and take care of this mistake/over site. The representative agreed this was a problem then The representative on the phone told me it was not their responsibility and when they installed the new panel they don't test to see if the labeling was accurate on the old paneling. (Which by the way they were checking light switches, asking me did this turn on the bathroom is it off now etc... sooooo, they did confirm and check some of it) The representative then tells me "we will come out free of charge to give you an estimate to change out the breakers and see what else" So I repeated it back to him and said I'm confused. This was an error, and that it never should have been installed like this. Where he doubled down that it wasn't their problem basically. This is a huge safety violation and I don't even want to imagine. So needless to say at the moment we have the outlets taped off until we can have this fixed. I'm so very disappointed it what seemed to be a wonderful company. I was hoping they would make it right and do the proper thing and stand by their work. Unfortunately that was not the case.
