Hilariously bad experience. Towed from my apartment complex because my mom who was visiting to meet mine and my wife's first baby girl...her first grand baby...didn't pull into the spot far enough and was "blocking the fire lane..." Towed @ 4am. Absolute garbage service. Guy on the phone made my mom cry and my wife super upset. Told them $310 to get it out. Said it was a "police impound" but couldn't give them a report #? Called three police departments...no idea what I'm talking about. No record of anything. Call back myself..."Oh, that's a different truck...my bad." Told me $350 to get it out. Vultures somebody else mentioned in their review. Absolutely! What can I say that hasn't been said already. Garbage company. The kind you move to Texas to not deal with. Hope you never have to read this while you're sitting in a dark gravel parking lot with barbwire fencing all around it, waiting for 45 minutes for somebody to come let you in the gate for $300 (cash only) so you can get in your truck and go back to your wife and newborn and park in the spot you pay for every month so nobody tows you. ASAP Towing - Such a dump. - Towing Near Me - Florence, Texas

These people are awful. They towed us from a garage that we were told to park in by the security of that shopping center. They circle around and look up for cars to tow. Then I couldn't get a hold of them for over two hours so I assumed my truck was stolen. Georgetown PD was the one who finally got a hold of them. Then they tried to charge me extra for overnight storage, even though I couldn't get a hold of them. I had to get the police involved, the guy wouldn't tell me who towed my truck until after I came to Florence to pick it up and paid him the $300. Oh and he wouldn't tell me his name and hung up on me several times. Then they tried to jack up the bill to $425. We had the laws printed out as to what they could charge us. I have the Rivery security & Rivery Mgmt involved bc of the communication error and to report the behavior of this vendor that they hired. 0 stars is what their rating is. read more

This towing company sucks, they are rude and lie about the pricing. They only accept cash because they don't report all of their stuff to the irs. Karma comes back around! I'm not even mad about getting towed but when I called to ask what time I can come pick up my car it took them 40min to even get there. Like many others here, I'm baffled by how astonishingly terrible this company is. When I asked the owner for their address (a basic piece of information most businesses know, right?), he confidently responded, "Google it." When I pointed out that, as the owner, he should know his own address, his helpful advice was, "Figure it out," followed by hanging up on me--seems to be a recurring theme if you browse other reviews. Undeterred, I called back, only to be met with silence. I suppose answering the phone isn't high on their list of priorities. As if that wasn't enough, their sign is practically invisible from the highway. I can only assume this is either an intentional ploy to rack up yard fees for people who can't find them or a reflection of their understandable embarrassment about the company. Oh, and just to add another layer of professionalism, they only accept cash or (drumroll, please)... Venmo. I'm sure the IRS will be thrilled to know they're so meticulous in reporting all their income. If I could give this company a -3 stars I would. I called them the day before I needed my RV moved due to a water main break and sent them pics of the motorhome. Called the next morning and got a quote from a man that I must've woken up at 8:30 am. He said the driver was on the way. Never showed up and after calling several times the dispatcher told me he couldn't find his driver. Had five trucks from the water company waiting for over two hours for these clowns. No show, no call and dispatcher hung up on me twice while trying to get an ETA. Horrible experience! Wouldn't ever recommend these people! read more

My granddaughter was involved in an accident on Friday, July 4th. She inadvertently left her wallet in the car. This company towed the car to one of their lots. The next day, Saturday, realizing that the wallet was left in the car, we called to get access to the car to retrieve the wallet. We were told that we would not be allowed access to the car until Monday, and assured that the cars are always locked and the wallet would be safe. On Monday I made an appointment to see the car and was met by a nice man with a goatee who let met through the gate to access the car. He told me that he found the car unlocked, and guess what, there was no wallet in the car. I have called a number of times since then asking to speak with a manager, and was told a number of times by the young lady that answered the phone that she would have Justin call me. He has not contacted me by phone nor has he answered the email that I sent him. read more

Not sure how this place is even legal. I was towed to this lot so I called an hour before I wanted to come by to be sure I could pick up my car at noon (I had to uber). They answered and said to come over and they'd have someone there for me at noon. Long story short, I was stranded outside in the Texas summer heat for 2 hours, unable even to contact the business, until someone came by to take my 300 dollars and let my car out. read more

I have lived in my apartment, Waters Edge, for nearly five years. The majority of this time, I have had the privilege of working from home, however I drive my car every day. Waters Edge has a contract with ASAP Towing to keep the community up to date. From March 2023 through January 2024, a building neighbor had an unmovable Jeep with a flat tire and the Jeep ultimately sat out front for nearly a year deteriorating. This is the definition of abandoned. On February 5th, 2024, ASAP Towing slapped a bright green sticker on my car, which is used and moved every day, as well as cleaned as detailed, saying I had two days to "claim it" because it had been abandoned. When I called a spoke with Justin with ASAP Towing, he said there are "signs of abandonment" which include leaves and dust. Also, if the vehicle isn't moved, they will consider it abandoned. I asked how ASAP towing can monitor signs of vehicle use if they are only coming around once or twice a week. Justin said "You're the one who called me." Horrible business, seems like they're desperate because they can't put food on the table for their families and are poaching on good people to sustain their livelihoods. read more

Well, the worst part about this experience was the wait time. I called before my workshift was over around 515 pm to verify I'll be there between 630/645 (Austin traffic on I-35 isn't smooth around that time lol) called a gent named Jessie said he would notify his driver. It's now 754. I called again, a lady answered this time said it was the first time she heard about it and someone would be out in another 15-20 minutes Update at 806 p Smoother than I thought. I was in the process of being towed by this company today. I sincerely didn't realize I was in a tow parking spot. I was able to flag down the driver. He stopped for me and was very professional and even walked back to the spot with me to show me the sign nearby and explain everything. He was very nice and professional. It really makes me mad that people jump down their throats when they are just doing their jobs. ASAP Towing is rude and not responsive or dependable. We broke down on a very busy highway in Texas. We called our insurance company to order towing to a car dealership less than 10 miles away. It was about 5:15 PM and the temperature was 98 - 100 degrees. The insurance company contacted ASAP towing and they provided an ETA of 30 minutes. I received a text stating the ETA and ASAP Towing confirmation. I immediately called ASAP towing on the number they provided in Florence, TX to verify. The dispatcher confirmed and indicated that the driver is within 30 minutes. 40 minutes later I called ASAP to inquire about the TOW and the dispatcher indicated the tow should be there any minute. I then get a text message from ASAP towing indicating that they needed information. So, I called the ASAP dispatcher again to inquire what he needed, he said name, location and vehicle to be towed. I told him that the insurance company provided the information to them, and he hung up. I texted the information he asked for. The Tow driver showed up about 15 minutes later and said he just received the call. He said he was less than 10 minutes away, So, it took over 1 1/2 hours after the first call to get a tow from ASAP Towing. Totally UNSAT. I informed the insurance company of the issue, and they said the text I received from the first call was a confirmation from ASAP towing. I will not use ASAP Towing again! The most unethical, illegal, abusive company I have ever come across in my 55 years. Illegally placed my car between two spaces after a request from a property manager and towed it costing almost $1000. Stay tuned. Saturday evening we had a shredded trailer tire and were out in the dark in the middle of nowhere. Most places already closed, and even the 24/7 tire delivery services couldn't help with the odd trailer tire size! I called ASAP and they were happy to help us, they figured out a plan quickly and kept me informed on the time it would take to get the job done. They went out of their way to pick up a new wheel and tire for my trailer, brought the tire to our location and were helpful in getting us back on the road! Talk about a load of stress lifted! Thankful that ASAP Towing was willing and had a solution. We didn't have to leave our trailer sitting by itself on a country road with a new washer and dryer strapped to it! They're quick to tow a vehicle from a business, but then no one is at the lot when you go to pick it up. It's been "5-10 minutes" waiting for quite a while now. One of the tow drivers even left as we pulled in ... while other people were already sitting in the sun waiting. For $271 to be towed seven miles because of a parking mistake ... I guess the screwing people over side of their business is more lucrative than the helping people out side. I called for roadside assistance through my insurance company and apparently this is the best USAA could do. I had to wait over 2 hours for the tow truck to get to me then he took another two hours to tow me out the ditch then the guy scratched my car with his winch and didn't know what he was doing he got me out then let my car roll back in. on top of that he charged me out of pocket because he said my roadside assistance didn't cover what he had to do. Terrible terrible business I can guarantee you they will also collect funds from my insurance company. read more

I called ASAP towing immediately and i got great service over the phone. They answered all of my questions and were very helpful. I arrived at ASAP towing & was greeted by the nicest man. Very talkitive and fun. I had no problems at all with the service. I'm pretty sure the people who rated ASAP low, were people that were mad their cars got towed. i was in and out of ASAP in less than 30 minutes. read more

They have contracts to tow cars from low income housing developments where the lines for the parking spaces are barely viewable. No warning, and the people struggling the hardest to make ends meet, have to pay $300 to get their vehicles.... or never get them again. If it were possible to leave ZERO STARS, I would. My car broke down January 4th. ASAP towing was apparently "contracted" by my service warranty company to handle my tow. The car was in a parking spot at McDonald's in Burnet, TX, easy enough to access. The driver called to ask where he was taking the car and I said I guess he could just take it to the preferred shop given to me by my warranty provider in Burnet, and that I was new to the area so I didn't exactly have a shop. He stated that I could pick whatever shop I wanted and he would take the car there, and that it didnt have to be the one they recommended. He pretty much convinced me to change the address. I apprehensively decided on the Chevy dealership in Marble Falls, 12 miles away. My warranty company covers claims up to $150 so I figured I should be okay. Soon after the guy took the car, someone from ASAP called me to say that my warranty company wasnt going to pay for some of my tow, and that I needed to contact them to figure it out. I did and they told me that because I had changed the address, I was responsible for all but the ACTUAL TOW (no labor charges)!!! Soon after that, Andy (the driver) with ASAP called me to say I owed him money for the tow. I was furious!!! Not only did he say I owed him money, he said I owed money for "dollying", labor, overage on miles, 30 minutes time speaking with the warranty company, AND A REHOOK FEE!!!!! He wanted OVER $270!!! I asked how much the warranty company was paying and he told me $84. He said the car was in a "difficult" spot to move it from, and that when he got to Chevy they made him move the car from where he originally put it!!!!! I told him I wanted to speak to his supervisor and he told me if I hung up, he would charge me more time. THEN HE THREATENED TO IMPOUND MY CAR IF I DIDNT PAY IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!! IT WAS ABSOLUTE EXTORTION!!!!! He eventually said he would "settle" for $200 (ridiculous!). When I finally gave in and offered my credit card (BECAUSE I LITERALLY HAD NO CHOICE!) he asked me to text or email a picture of my drivers license. WHAT!?!?!? When I told him ABSOLUTELY NOT, he got upset and again tried to threaten an impound. I finally told him he could take my credit card and run it or he could go to hell but I wasn't giving him a copy of my DL. I WAS FLABBERGASTED!!! Never in my life have I been so mistreated by a company!!!! He finally hung up and left my car. When I tried to call ASAP after the encounter with the driver, nobody would answer the phone (even though they had always answered everytime before). Today, someone tried to use my credit card in Edinburg, TX, south of Corpus Christi. I have never even been there. Do I think this is a coincidence of the tow driver asking for so much info, NO, I DO NOT. Needless to say, if you use ASAP, GOOD LUCK TO YOU. My car was towed to a service center on a Sunday to be diagnosed on Monday. Since the keys were not left as instructed I had to track down the tow company on Tuesday who found that my car key was still in the tow truck. When I spoke to the office I was told that yes, the extra day I was out for my rental car would be reimbursed since it was the tow companies fault that I had to wait an extra day for diagnosis, but now after getting no response I have finally talked to someone who basically said nope not our problem. I don't appreciate 1) being ignored, 2) being lied to and 3) having someone not even apologize for horrid customer service. Thanks anyway. read more

This company is a joke !! My vehicle was towed on 2/12/20 from an accident scene to their tow yard The driver seemed hesitant to take my key with the vehicle. He stated most people want to keep the key. I thought that sounded strange as any of my vehicle that have been towed the key went with the vehicle. Well it turns out the driver LOST my key & the company will not take responsibility for it. They are extremely rude when you call there. I called & my insurance company. Got no where. ASAP Towing is awesome. I called the office just to let them know my Insurance company would be contacting them, the gentleman that answered, Joe I believe, was reasurring and friendly, letting me know a truck was already dispatched. I was like ya right. But true to their word, Jonathan was there in 20 mins, not an hour, as I was informed it would take by my roadside assistance provider. He was very friendly and safety conscious. He called ahead to verify my exact location, and had the cabs heat on when he arrived, it was cold and raining. He escorted me to the truck, and then quickly got my car hooked up and delivered to the tire shop. As a side note, the outside of the truck was clean and appeared well maintained, which probably doesn't make sense to mention, but to me that shows they take pride in their services. After having previously waited more than 1 hour for Pop a Lock to arrive, and him be rude and condescending even before he informed me that I had the wrong spare and needed a tow, I expected to wait yet another hour for the tow. Broken down and stranded 150 miles from home, south of Temple, TX during rush hour was frightening and stressful. ASAP showed up and securely towed our vehicle to the nearest garage. The driver was courteous and reassuring. The next day we learned from the garage the repairs were much more than we expected and may involve a complete engine rebuild. We weren't comfortable leaving my truck in Temple/Belton with someone we didn't know and called ASAP Towing. They pulled my F-150 to our home dealership in Richardson, TX the next day, in the rain, giving us text updates when they picked it up and delivered it and thanked us for the business. I couldn't have asked for more and STRONGLY recommend this company. Towing illegally parked vehicles, etc. is a tough business and prone to negative reviews because of the associated hassle. We were accused of Grand Theft auto after acquiring our car. The driver, Landon, claimed he came sprinting after my girlfriend and I as we stole our own car. Which is categorically untrue, because we spent twenty minutes on their lot trying to find someone to talk to. The car was left unsecured, gas cap forced open, driver-side mirror knocked off, and unlocked. Landon then proceeded back to our apartments to harass the front desk, and demanded payment. His boss Justin offered to reimburse us for the troubles. This dude "Landon" is a loose canon. read more
