My sons truck finally died, but it couldn't stay at Tire Plus and it couldn't be driven. AKA~ we…read morehad it towed tot he house for now. John was our tow truck extraordinaire, he quickly loaded the pickup truck onto the lift and brought it the whole 2 miles to our house and parked it neatly in our driveway. We were quoted about an hour when we called it in and went and had lunch when we got the call from John that he could be there in ten minutes- I think that was right at 40 minutes. So they promised and delivered in the time frame. I picked this company because it has been in business for 30 + years. I figured you wouldn't be around that long if you weren't good. I will say- when I called the number on Google it gave me an automated message that the mailbox was not set up for the phone number. I went to their website and they had the same number listed so I tried again with success. Phone skills have definitely gone by the wayside though- this is the 2nd towing company I have used in the last several months and neither took my name or number. I understand they can see my number- but they could at least say that. Confirm it. Something. I answer phones for work and there is something definitely lacking there. But the driver was well spoken both on the phone and in person.

I reached out to Tiki's Towing after seeing their $65 tow advertisement on Facebook Marketplace…read more When I contacted them, I was informed that the $65 rate only covers up to 2 miles, which is understandable. My total came out to $120, which I agreed to without issue. Before the tow, I clearly explained to the first person I spoke with that the vehicle needed to be moved from one property to another and placed behind a gate, and that they would need to open the gate. After the vehicle was picked up, I also sent them a picture of the gate--circled--as you can see in the image below, to make sure there was no confusion about the drop-off location and instructions. When the driver arrived, a different person contacted me for directions. I assumed all prior details had already been communicated, so I did not repeat the information about the gate. However, once they arrived at the drop-off location, they refused to open the gate and place the vehicle inside. They told me the person I originally spoke with was "in training" and unaware of their gate policy. I explained that if I had been told upfront that I needed to be present to open the gate, I would have made arrangements to be there. Despite this, they refused to wait for me and left the vehicle in front of the gate--even though I had already paid the full amount. Before posting this review, I tried to handle this professionally and work things out directly with the company because I genuinely support small businesses. However, I was told they would rather respond to a review than resolve the issue. To make matters worse, the owner/co-owner was argumentative and unwilling to fix the situation, stating they had other jobs to get to. Overall, this experience showed a lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service. I would recommend clarifying all policies upfront if you choose to use this company.
