Around the end of June, on a Tuesday night, my 18 year old son hydroplaned during a bad downpour and his truck jumped a curb and ended up stuck in a divider median island full of bushes. He was safe and unhurt, but we quickly found out that there are very few Tow companies in Orange Park and especially Fleming Island. AAA was absolutely no help. The first two companies I called didn't even answer their phones. But Scott's did. And he came right away. When you are standing in the rain and in the dark, and it seems like no one wanted to help. But hopefully I won't need to. :) I have no idea what it typically costs to pull a car out of a ditch (took an hour) and tow it a few miles, but I was perfectly fine with the price I paid.

STUCK IN THE MUD ON OSCEOLA TRAIL!!!…read more I drive for Uber on the side. It was 9:30ish at night when I took a rider home on Osceola Trail. In pitch-black darkness, I drove along the bumpy, pothole-filled, dirt road that is the Osceola Trail. At my rider's direction, I made it safely around a big, water-filled pothole that stretched the width of the road and got her home safely. On the way back out, I straddled the side of the road, but drove up too high and I was stuck in the mud on Osceola Trail!! I called 911 and AAA. The responding officer suggested calling ALL COUNTY WRECKER SERVICE, because AAA could not give me an ETA. So, I agreed. The wonderful men at ALL COUNTY WRECKER SERVICE came to my rescue and got me back on the road. They arrived within 15 minutes of the call and pulled my car out. They were kind and considerate.
