We did a walk through before starting the move and went over what all needed to be moved. They were honest and raised concerns about moving our tv as it's pretty thin, and took extra precautions to pack it. Nothing was damaged during the move. They were extremely quick in loading and unloading. They were quick in assembling and dissembling. They finished our move in lesser time than expected!

On both occasions, the teams were friendly, efficient, easy to work with, and very accomodating to our needs. They arrived on time, provided excellent communication, checked in with us frequently throughout the process, asked questions along the way, and both jobs came in either at or slightly under the estimated cost. College Hunks aren't the cheapest service around, but they're definitely among the best. Horrible! the driver 'forgot' our big valuable sculpture when we moved from Olympia out of state…read more It is heavy and they charged a lot as part of a Huge moving bill to transport it. After two days of chaos with them in our house packing and loading, the driver Rushed us that he finally walk through, wouldn't go out and check the sculpture area saying he already got all that. The delivery was a moving nightmare. The truck and driver showed up at 8:15 am, due at 8. By 8:45 No crew was there so he called and was told that the company they hired to move us in "forgot" to send the message hiring the crew. After 10 am 3 people who spoke NO English showed up: a small man complaining of arm pain all day, and two small women in their 20s who couldn't carry anything heavy. Nothing was put where it should have been as they couldn't read labels or get the tag numbers right. The driver told them to flip over our big expensive cherry dresser on the concrete porch but there was NO blanket or padding on that side so it has huge gouges. and the driver said he "Forgot" our sculpture. Many items were scratched, they broke 3 legs off a big upholstered chair and the move in crew broke the 4th leg. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID! Hire anyone else!

I do not recommend j and a labor. we have had conversations with alesha and our movers were chase…read moreand Jermaine. we paid 538 for 7.5 hours and spent 40 dollars on them for lunch. it took them 6 hours to load a uhual and 1.5 hours to unload. they broke a 250 dollar table from the old cannery and a 150 dollar Disney frozen bed. after spending 30 minutes to track down the office phone number we got a hold of alesha. she was very understand and apologetic. she hlasked for proof of purchase for both items. we found it for the table and sent it to her along with pictures. she then begged us not to leave them a bad review. my husband recieved an email reciept which had a smile and frowny face. he clicked the frowny face and said "they broke my table and daughters Disney bed". she responded and said after our conversation yesterday I thought we had this resolved. so long story short she was telling us we shouldn't have reviewed them, my husband thought he was sending an email and not a review. now a day later she says her partner John wants pictures of the chairs top, bottom and legs, as well as the table. the chairs are fine. it almost seems like they want to see the condition before they help resolve the issue. she also hung up on my husband twice. we gave them a 30 minute break to eat there lunch, paid part in cash and she didnt even know that. they told my husband they wanted to make sure they got paid then put a pocket knife on my counter. we have not recieved a refund or a replacement bed or dining table. we are furious. and of course there office address is no where to be found. Team was able to provide packing and moving services very quickly (I needed to move things the next…read moreday). They also offer storage solutions at their warehouse in Woodinville. Just be mindful that the storage rate is per crate, not a set amount so you'll want to really 'pack in' as much as you can in the boxes.
