The team took down about 13 trees for me in about 5 hours and they were clearly experienced. However, the clean up process left me wanting more. Unfortunately the team showed up a day after a heavy rain and my entire back yard took a beating, as did the lot next to me where they drove the log truck and bobcat. Additionally, the road in front of my driveway was covered with mud and I'm in a community with an HOA. I asked Josh about clean up, and he said the team would rake it over and clean up the road before they left, which they didn't. Josh even said he would come back and help me spread grass seed and straw over the lot beside me if I would go purchase, which I did but he never showed. I even asked if Josh would come back after the stump grinding to help grade the back area and I would pay him over his normal rate for two hours of work, and he agreed. That's where the transaction went sideways. Josh was hard to get in touch with and never showed back up. He didn't call to negotiate for more money or anything. The few texts I received just said I will be out this weekend or sometime next week. Three weeks later I called and left him a voicemail and said not to worry about coming back. I was left with about 25 hours worth of work and additional expenses for equipment rentals. Just beware what you are getting into when you hire for tree services. I was left with a mess for a backyard, many hours of labor and several hundred dollars of additional expenses for more work to the area before it will be considered "finished." Might be wise to ask your contractor these types of questions upfront and avoid unmet expectations. Price was competitive, tree work was good, cleanup and communication was poor, and follow thru was lacking. Best of luck if you choose these guys in the future!

He ended up advising to cut a third tree down because it was right next to the creek that runs behind our house and the roots were exposed and it could come down if the ground got too wet. This is the reason we took down the other trees. He gave us a very good quote compared to the guys that came after. They arrived on time on the day of the service. They even had to take my fence down and did it seamlessly. They took care of my property as well as the plant and grass in the area. When they got finished they left my yard clean of any debris and they put my fence back up to where it looks like nothing ever happened. Being prudent consumers, we called 5 tree removal companies for estimates. ArborCut was one of them. While showing the trees to "Alex", I had my doubts as to whether he was a qualified arborist. He said some things that were contrary to the way the other arborists had suggested we handle the trees and roots. When I got the estimate it was WAY lower than the other estimates. And, when I asked for proof of insurance he said it didn't have it with him (all 4 of the other companies provided proof at the time of the estimate). I emailed Alex the next day to get proof of insurance and this was his exact response (errors and all): "We can send you insurance certificate after we sign agrement, this is our policy, after we sign the agreement with you, we will send you proof of insurance with your name on it. Actualy we will submit your information to our insurance agent and they will send it to you." This is completely deceitful and unacceptable. Any legitimate, insured company will be happy to provide you with proof. And, I don't even know what he is talking about - liability insurance isn't handled that way. All I can say is - unless you have a tree out in a field that is no risk of falling on something, and you get the company and each of its workers to sign an Indemnity agreement - I would AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!
