We walked right in with four people and immediately found prime real estate. Everyone knows that having four diners in a party allows for optimized sharing, along as everyone is down to clown. So we all picked a dish that spoke to us at a personal level. That's when we were floored by the level of service that Maharaja has to offer. Once our designated spokesperson relayed the dishes to the waitress, she paused and then made a counter offer... What if we could give you all of these and more at a discount? The gang was intrigued. We had inadvertently ordered some sort of party platter but in an a la carte fashion. The waitress took money out of her pocket to give us more food. A truly unparalleled opportunity to do right by the customer. Major applause to you (I hope this doesn't get you fired, and instead leads to increased business). These are the moments that you do not forget about as an enthusiast and avid promoter of the Seattle restaurant scene. I was blown away by the food as well. My experience with tandoori chicken in the past was that it can be dry and not pack the seasoning punch that you would expect from such a vibrant color. But this was quite the opposite, tender and juicy chicken that was exploding with flavor. The curries were also rich and deep in taste, with much more chicken than you get at many other establishments these days. I will 100% be back when I'm in West Seattle, and I would implore others to do so as well.

Service was excellent Food came out quite quick We had chicken tika masala and dal with garlic naan The dal was not as flavorful or spicy as we hoped but the chicken was good. Spice Level is not strong here but it was tasty. Would come back but likely not order the dal though

I thought that maybe it was the fried or onion or some other seasoning, but NO, that shiiii winked and moved bit by bit because it was a bug. I almost swallowed it, too, until I looked down while my high school best friend, Chooksty, talked about her day to me. Service was so dead. Rushing our orders and then serving it with attitude. It was so...offputting and made the experience at this restaurant even worse than it was. At least they knew to refill our water when it ran low, and to not interrupt when Chooksty and I were in deep conversation. I liked that the table had a glass top where the menus laid under so that you could order without having to flip through pages or scan a QR code. Truly innovative and I wish that I could rate this place higher like I wished that I could take the leftovers home, but the cons outweigh the pros so much so :( Also, the drive to this restaurant from Olympia, Washington had a pretty rainbow

It's refreshingly sweet and creamy, making it the perfect complement to the spicy dishes. Service here is top-notch as well. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring that your dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. It was still creamy and kinda tasted like they combined milk with the syrup that the canned lychees soak in. You get a decent amount for 1 order and I think the sweetness is enough to cover 2 people.

We were really hungry and decided to join them as I've had this spot saved too as the reviews were pretty positive. They were definitely very popular but we were put on the waitlist but I think it would be helpful if they took peoples' numbers as apparently they would just shout it outside. We weren't aware as we went somewhere else to wait as it was very cold. When we arrived, a different employee started cleaning a table for us and we waited but then the employee who did put us down was frustrated with us as he called us and no one of us answered cause we were elsewhere. We weren't sure if we had a spot after that but luckily the employee who was cleaning was done and offered that spot. They also did drop a glass cup after cleaning nearby which was concerning but they did clean it up right away. Once we were seated, it took almost a half an hour to get some to take our order. Luckily we did get our water refilled decently but there were a few times where our empty glasses were seen and ignored. I definitely think there should be staff training as it was non-existent. I understand being busy but you're across the convention center so it should be expected. The music was also so low I didn't know it was even on, they have a loud fan going on and even their TVs have no volume. It's a pretty awkward ambiance, especially with how they try to look like they are a upscale restaurant. It did take some time to get food and it seems like the kitchen was frustrated too as I heard the bell signaling food being ready several times. The food was actually good, especially for the price. The portions are generous. We never had paratha but our friend recommended it so we got the aloo paratha while my boyfriend got their butter masala and I got their tikka masala extra hot. It wasn't really spicy at all, definitely nothing like what I've had at other Indian restaurants. The curries were flavorful with good pieces of chicken. We might return if we need something nearby but there are definitely better options that I would walk for.
