I love that they open late, serve fresh rotating pastor tacos, and have a large menu with so much variety. I highly recommend trying them out, our favorites are their Pastor Tacos, Buche Tacos, Cabeza Tacos, Lengua Tacos, Carne Asada Tacos y Tortas, and more. I see some people write about #2 on the other page, but I thought it would be better to create a page for this location. While there are two of them, both of their vibes are very different. for Taqueria la Fondita #2, this location has more of an enclosed space with bench+umbrella seating, and even an indoor section where the sauce bar is at. It's a lot nicer than the other location down the street, since that one is more of a "pick up and go", while here has a nice sit-down area to hang with your friends. I came on a Taco Tuesday, but unfortunately I do not think they run that promo. No worries though because the tacos here are decently priced for your everyday eats at $2.50 per taco. I ordered the carnitas tacos, and the quality of the meat was really good, and my friends who ordered the carne asada said the same thing. The funny part is, after saying how amazing the meat was cooked and my friends taking a bite of their food, they just couldn't stop saying how amazing these tacos were. Even to the point where they say it's one of their favourite taco places now. While I definitely agree these were some top tier tacos, it's not quite yet #1, but a solid contender nevertheless. I would recommend Taqueria la Fondita #2 to anyone getting tacos in this part of town, it's a great environment with great food and great service. Triple greats!
