I've been visiting Nadi for 4 years now and he has taken cared of me on every single visit. He's very nice, professional and courteous. FYI - I'll be name dropping the brands of my clothes to highlight the importance/ seriousness of my research when looking for a trusted, reliable tailor. First time, I had 6-7 designer jeans tapered for a perfect fit look. This was when True Religions, Ted Baker, 7 for Mankind and Rock and Republic were the fad. They were all very expensive jeans so I needed to find someone I can trust and do the work right. I found Nadi to be very reasonably priced. Ultimately, his work was very professional and good quality so overall I was very happy. Second time, I needed to have alterations done to my Kenneth Colr pant suit. I needed to resize my waist and get it tapered. Of course, I went straight to Nadi. He took my measurements and made sure everything was recorded to my liking. Again, reasonably priced and professionally done. Third time, Lululemon Jacket. Won't zip up - zipper broken, so he fixed it within seconds and didn't charge me. This really meant a lot to me as it prolongs our business relationship for future alterations. Overall, I highly recommend Nabi and his craftsmanship. My mom and I have been coming here to get our things altered. We love coming here for the quality and service. The man is so nice and remembers you and what you needed done when you come in. One time we even came with just fabric and he created a whole Santa sack for us. It was amazing. This time we had a seam fixed on a pair of pants and a snap button added to a blouse. Both were done really well. You can not tell that the seam was fixed and the button that was added to the blouse looks like it was originally meant to be there. There is a loose end of string on the pants but that has very little notice. When you go in he will let you know what is going to work best for you and if something you are wanting will not work or change the size or style of the clothing. He also listens and does exactly what you want and explain. Great place and highly recommended to get anything done here! read more

I'm not tall, dark or handsome. And lacking that first adjective means a lot of clothes don't quite fit me the way that 6 foot tall, 130 lb. model in the picture wore them. Mostly that means sleeves needs to be "corrected" so I'm not going to business meetings looking like that one dwarf in Snow White (you know the one...) So what do you look for in a tailoring place? Close and convenient? Check. Fast, attentive but not fussy? Check. Gets the length of sleeves and slacks correct the first time? Check. Inexpensive? Check! No, I don't like doubling the total price of a shirt I bought for a screaming deal online just to have it fit correctly. And the owner of Arya (who is, like, ALWAYS there...) gets that. Prices are really, really generous and turnaround is very quick. I've never asked for anything other than getting a jacket, shirt or pants to fit - and he's always gotten it right. I have no idea if he does custom dress shirts, technicolor dream coats or bespoke capes with shark fins. But I do know he makes my screaming online deal purchases fit me like they were made for me, and for that I'll keep coming back. Arya won't make you tall, dark, or handsome. But at least your clothes will wear correctly. read more

Thee best ever!!! I pray to GOD he never leaves the area!! I use him for anything and will continue to do business with him!! He's accurate. Once over ten years ago I took a wool coat that was too big I bought anyway cause it was so freaking cute and he made that coat fit me to a T and I had no idea how he even made it possible and the coat has a bow on the back waist of all the same material and color. This place and couple are really good at what they do and are generally nice people. However, I had to take two stars away because: 1) In my last visit, I had a pair of pants that needed to be corrected from a previous fix-up (which the gentleman there measured with other pants and not on me; wrong on his part) and apparently I was not informed that there would be an additional fee. I thought he realized that he had made an error and was simply going to fix it but as I thanked him and was about to walk out he then said "that will be $20"... I was embarrassed and confused. I did not appreciate that at all. Basically, if you see an error on your clothing, be sure to ask if there's a fee for correcting his mistakes. 2) Similar to above, I don't live close to the store and having to be told several times that your clothes will be done on a certain day and then travel there to find out its not is unprofessional and uncalled for. Nothing personal towards them but this was just my experience and I felt like they could have done better or at least communicate properly. read more

Arya Alteration Tailoring never disappoints! I continue to bring in clothes for alterations and they're always expertly altered to high satisfaction ...and by the agreed upon date. But, I always call first, just to make sure the items are ready ...just the way I roll! Since my initial review, I've brought in a few pairs of jeans, slacks, blouses, sleeveless pullovers, midi-dress and, just today, I picked up two jean-jackets and a wool/polyester sweater jacket ...the alterations done superbly! Hey, and on the midi-dress, aside from shortening it a bit, there was a pin-sized hole that Nabi patched with cut-off fabric from shortening the dress. ...awesome. BTW, I always try on the tailored clothes before leaving the store ...that way, I am assured the clothes fit to my specs ....and, if I ever happen to find something isn't 'quite right', adjustments could be requested without a frustrating return drop-off trip. ;) And, in response to another reviewer who states they only take cash ...untrue, as I occasionally pay with credit card ...did so again today. I brought my wedding dress here to be tailored and Nabi did the most amazing job! I asked him if he could shorten the dress, make some alterations to the shoulders and hips to fit better, and add in a bustle. He listened to everything I asked for and was able to help give me guidance when I had questions, but never pushed me to alter anything I hadn't already pointed out. I had two fittings, and when I came to pick up my dress it fit me like a glove, fitting all of my curves without being tight or uncomfortable. Nabi does incredible work! We also brought in my sister's maid of honor dress to be tailored (shortened hemline and changes to the neck and straps) and again he did a superb job. There is a private dressing room with a smaller changing room inside, and mirrors to see every angle, which was very nice and helpful especially when dealing with a large dress. I looked up wedding dress alterations places for hours, looking within an hour+ of where I live. The first time I came here I arrived with a last minute dress for my birthday and Nabi was able to alter it by the time I needed it (within 1-2 days). The dress was perfect! I told Nabi I would be back with A LOT of more pieces. I'm super piete, so a lot of my clothes are too big for me -- an entire collection in fact! I came back probably 3 more times within a month with about 40 more pieces (variation of casual and complex items) and Nabi was able to help me figure out the perfect fit for everything!
