I needed to tailor my suit pants just to trim off around 2 inches from the length. Arya was able to measure how long my pants should be and then I was able to pick it up a few days later. Very quick turn around time and the blind stitch on the suit pants was very exceptional. Amazing service for an amazing price, thanks Arya! read more

Absolutely love the work Aryas Tailoring did on my jeans!! lost a bit of weight and needed the waist fitted, and love the results. Quick, efficient, and did such a great job. Both pairs fit like a dream now, and the price for both was cheaper than a pair of new jeans, which I find great! read more

My go to alterations place. Work quality never disappoints nice people. Service is good

If you're looking for a tailor who values precision over pretense, look no further. I had the pleasure of working with a gentleman whose quiet demeanor belies his remarkable skill. He completed my alterations with astonishing speed and care--no fuss, no upsell, just honest craftsmanship. What stood out most was his integrity: he didn't push for unnecessary changes, and his pricing was refreshingly fair. In a world of overpromising and overcharging, his gentle presence and efficient work felt like a gift. The stitches were clean, the fit was perfect, and the whole experience was calm and reassuring. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality, humility, and a job well done. read more

We brought in a dress that needed to be hemmed, last minute, and he was kind enough to do it the same day since we needed by Monday. Since they are closed on Sunday, this was really last minute. We appreciated his kindness very much! read more

Always reasonably priced, sometimes zero charge. Excellent at doing little high-skill jobs.

Very kind, polite, quick turn around, great pricing and great work. What more can you ask for? I use to live close by, but now I live over Ygnacio. I tried going to a closer place but they said they could not get the hemming done in time (4 day turn around) and they didn't even look at the item. They just flat out said no. I called Arya the next day (at the end of the day), explained what I kind of hemming was needed, and he said to bring in the item. He said, no problem and would have it done by Saturday morning (2 day turn around). The jumpsuit has a blind hem and a liner, so it is not just a basic pants hemming. He also did major alterations on my wedding dress back in 2020 and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this business and will gladly deal with Ygnacio traffic whenever I need future alterations. read more

This place is absolutely great. I am a firm believer!! Any professional tailoring/altering I will need in the future will be done here. I had a dress I bought from Amazon which was actually pretty good quality (I don't usually trust Amazon with like higher end clothing, but this surprised me!). It was a high low dress, where it goes above the knees in the front, then swoops down in the back, but the front was a little too long for my taste. So I asked for them to make it a little shorter in the front and Nabi suggested they shorter it a little in the back too. I'm so glad he did! I picked it up yesterday and it looks amazing! Somehow it fits better too, like maybe lightening the back made the back a little more flowy. They only charged $50 for this. Nabi was the only who helped me and he was so polite, respectful and knowledgeable. It's a quiet little place that you could miss so easily, but don't skip on Arya! It's definitely the place to get your tailoring done! read more

Great tailor, I wouldn't go anywhere else! Very reliable, reasonable pricing and quality work! You just could not ask for better.

Absolutely amazing service and a lot less than my dry cleaner was. Turn around was less than one week which I've never had before. Usually, my dry cleaner charges a lot more, and the turnaround takes twice as long. I would highly recommend them read more

Came in on a time crunch! I needed my bridesmaid dress and my mom's mother of the groom dress altered in less than 2 weeks! Yes, I know. We are very much procrastinators. Decided to come to Arya and everything went so smoothly. Brought in the dresses, tried them of and had them altered to fit our body. And great news was it would be done in 1 week! The work was great, and it was done in within our needed time frame. The man helping us was super nice and accommodating. I would def come back if I needed alterations again. read more

I had been referred to Arya Alterations thanks to a few ladies who had good experiences with the location. I came here in January to begin my wedding alterations and Nabi was wonderful with our initial meeting . I needed the upper chest area taken in, hem the front of the dress (mine was mostly tulle) and to add in an extra piece of the tulle to the chest because I didn't want too much cleavage shown lol. He executed my requests beautifully! His pricing is affordable and I'm so thankful I was able to find him thanks to others' recommendations. He made that part of my wedding plans go so smoothly. read more

I've used Arya for my daughter's prom/ball gowns in the past and Nabi (owner) is very professional, friendly and reasonably priced. Nabi also altered my son's suit and a pair of slacks. He listened to my son's request to taper the legs, creating more of a slim fit and Nabi also offered suggestions to make the suit more flattering and comfortable. Arya is located in the Clayton Station near the Pavilion restaurant. Parking is easy. The turnaround on the alterations is quick and seamless. See what I did there? I will continue to come to Arya for all of our tailoring needs. read more

Fairly price and professional. I would recommend this place and would go back for more alteration of my jeans.

I'm down here in Orange County working and I need a tailor to take in some new slacks. Oh how I miss Nabi at Arya Tailoring. He always made my suit coats, blazers and pants fit just right. I always listened to his suggestions and when I needed a rush on something, he would always come through. You never know how good you have it when you miss great service and tailoring. I needed a suit fine tuned for my dad's funeral. Ordered from the many online stores and tried it on. I hate looking for a new tailor because aside from online reviews, how do you know right? It's not something that you can "return". Once it's done, it's done. So I found this place on trusty old yelp. It's deep inside Concord/Clayton, and located in a sleepy strip mall. The owner Nadi, is soft spoken, but nice and professional. I tried on my suit in the back and Nadi pinned his recommendations for sleeve length, pant leg, and waist. I said sure. I left it with him and he told me it should be ready in one week. I returned in a week, and tried on the suit. Perfecto. Loved the fit and the tiny bit of sleeve showing underneath my suit jacket. I forget what I paid, but it was under $50 for sleeve, pant, and waist alterations. Very very reasonable. Easy 5 stars for Nadi. Worth the drive. read more

Professional, Does great work, very fast and most of all GREAT PRICING. I really love this place.

Always quick and efficient when I need things altered. They aren't too pricey either.

Wow! I can't believe he charged me $90 for a simple alteration on my dress. I had my alteration on the other place last year and they only charged me $20-30. I only needed adjustment on my sleeve and the length of my dress. It was so simple. I should have done it myself if wasn't busy. Lol. read more

We've been taking clothes for alteration here for over 10 years and can highly recommend the tailoring of Nabbi. I've had pants taken in, hemmed, shirts adjusted and sleeves shortened - all work was of the highest quality and prices were very reasonable. And quick turnaround! His place of business is nothing fancy, but don't let appearances fool you. This is a place where good old-fashioned, quality craftsmanship reigns. Highly recommended! read more
