The staff is here is all so friendly and helpful! Both Kailey's at the front were very pleasant and made everything very clear on check in. The dental assistants Julia and Maria were also very nice and efficient and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Janani is an amazing doctor and was so knowledgeable and explained things so clearly and i was really impressed by how gentle she was while doing the cleaning. Happy to have found a dentist office near me where I know I'll have a pleasant experience and excellent customer service! My first time at this office was about 7 months ago and I had a pleasant visit, (despite the sour attitude man at the front- I believe he's no longer employed there). I went in today and had an even better experience! The office manager, Anna is very friendly and helpful. The office has been remodeled and looks nice and bright! The staff is cheerful and helpful - I interacted with Dr Jasani, Karin and Ruth and they were all very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and an overall pleasure to interact with. read more

Went in to get chipped tooth repaired. Still have a balance from a previous visit and have been paying on that bill. Explained my situation and I could pay monthly through my insurance I have with my employer. This smarmy little man demanded $200 or get me started on a payment plan which is a line of credit that will show on credit reports. I had to walk out. I literally tried to give them money and they demanded more. Avoid this place like the plague. So disappointed. read more

This place has changed a lot since I started coming 2 years ago. My appointments are always canceled. And my last experience- one of the young male dentist had me in his chair for LESS than 10 minutes for an exam and cleaning. He was very stand offish and gave zero level of respect for customer concerns. I had a horrible experience here. They will try to say that your insurance doesn't cover what you need done just to get more money from you upfront. Went in for a new crown after a root canal. They didn't mention the price of the crown would be completely separate from the procedure. I told them I'd wait because Christmas is coming up and I just paid $1,200 for the root canal and cannot pay another $1,200 for a crown. Suddenly they were able to search up what discounts they could offer. I told them I was still going to wait since it isn't urgent. Then, the office manager lied to me saying my insurance wouldn't cover a new crown because I had one done within the last 5 years. Called my insurance as soon as I left the office and they said they don't know where they got that from and they will cover the crown because I was under a different insurance at the time and haven't had any work on any teeth under my new insurance. I went back to the office and asked the office manager if that was their policy, she said no it was the insurances policy. Had her call the insurance right in front of me and they said they will absolutely cover the crown not a problem. When she got off the phone with them she told me I needed a prior authorization and it could take 2-4 months. Again, called the insurance back and they said it's not necessary and to just bill the insurance. Office manager was condescending saying that she knew the insurance company tells customers what they want to hear and they'll probably deny it - even though two benefits reps confirmed the 5 year limit policy of crowns didn't apply here. Nonetheless, I'm tired of scam dentist offices and will not be coming back here ever again. Make sure to check with your insurance before signing away any money. This office made a painful time even more difficult with their lies and deception. read more

I've had issues with this practice previously (see my other review). The practice changed hands again (the third time since I have been a patient) so I decided to give them another chance. I had a crown come loose and went in for an evaluation. Dentist wanted to reschedule to pull the tooth and prepare for an implant. I went to a Endodontist for a second opinion and he said the tooth was fine. He retreated the root canal and I am scheduled with Candela's Dentistry for a new crown. On a positive note the office staff is a lot more friendly the the last group. read more

Beware of questionable billing practices. I was given a price for a crown and paid that at the time of service. Was told at a later appointment that I owed more on the crown as my Medicare didn't cover an additional amount they tried to bill them. I objected to having to pay the additional amount because I was given a set price previously. The office manager didn't care and said that is what I needed to pay. I told them if that is how they conduct business my family would go to another provider. read more

I really don't like the receptionist, she just keep giving me hard time from the beginning, from signing up to become a new costumer and making an appt. I made an appt on Friday to remove my teeth, they called back the next day and changed it on next Wednesday. The receptionist was not helpful and not willing to help me to make another appt, she kept saying that s the only time the doc has. Ok, how about next month? She said she does not have their schedule for next month. Ok, how about another locations? She did not even offer to help and also she said she is not able to look up the times for me I need to call each locations by myself. After going to this dentist for 8 years and paying thousands of dollars for services rendered, we were sent to collections for $110 that we actually did not owe because there was a problem on their end with the insurance company. It turned out that they actually owed us money. I contacted Arvada "Modern" Dentistry on the phone or in person over seven times between 2022 and 2023 and their debt collections company at least three times in 2023 and I could not clear the debt because there was no way for me to prove that i actually did not owe any money. The front office personnel at Arvada Modern Dentistry assured me on multiple occasions that they would take care of the situation. I recently received another bill from their collection's agency for, you guessed it, $110.40. Whatever the issue, they are completely incompetent the paperwork side. Rather than bang my head against the wall, I filed a complaint with the state. I'd rather go to the worst dentist in the city and have all my teeth fall out of my head than go to this dentist again. read more

There lack of modern tools made them miss several critical issues which were now very bad. They're wonderful. I have seen Dr. Narker for some problematic crowns that I got at Broomfield Modern Dentistry. She and the full staff, from front desk to all hygienists and assistants I have experienced have been exceptional. The crown issue turned into a stubborn infection which needed help from Dr. Lowry and a total of 3 rounds of antibiotics. I didn't realize that it would be so many things to just save my teeth, but honestly, I don't regret it one moment. The whole team serviced me quickly and made sure that they offered me the best pricing available. I expected it to cost more to have this fixed and it was a pleasant surprise that it cost less than I thought it would, as well as the fact that they helped me solve it quickly despite being a lengthy process of things that had to happen to make sure I'm happy with my teeth. Although I have relocated nearly an hour away from this location, I chose to have all of this work done with Dr. Narker's office versus one that is closer to my new home, simply because I feel comfortable with the way they treat me as a person. That's huge considering I used to have major anxiety about even thinking about dental work, so I would say that this is a terrific dental office to visit, especially if you've been putting it off for any reason. read more

Based on how kindly everyone who works there has treated me, I wish I could write a good review, but based on how I almost became a dental victim of getting unnecessary work at this office, I must write a bad one. I've always gotten regular cleanings and taken good care of my teeth. Generally, I've been satisfied with my cleanings at this office every six months. At my last visit, I was due for X-rays. After the X-rays I was told I had three giant cavities surrounding three fillings in my teeth. I was devastated and unbelieving. The fillings to which Dr. Ross was referring had been done by a TOP dentist who had retired; this old dentist had worked on all my family's teeth and it was suspicious that nobody would be having trouble with his dental work except me. Additionally, I brush and floss everyday, without fail. But, supposedly, these X-rays showed cavities surrounding the fillings that my old, retired dentist had done. Not being convinced that anything was wrong, I asked for copies of my X-rays and went to two other dentists, for second and third opinions. Dentist #2 and dentist #3 both told me something interesting: the X-rays I was showing them from Arvada Modern Dentistry were of such low quality that it made almost every tooth look like it had a cavity. Dentist #2 took his own set of X-rays and told me I had no cavities. Dentist #3 took her own set of X-rays and also told me I had no cavities. Arvada Modern Dentistry was ready to massacre three of my teeth and ruin my beautiful dental work for no reason. I'm SO glad I got second and third opinions, otherwise my perfectly healthy teeth might have been damaged. read more

Haven't been here in over two years since my incident. Dentist said they needed to redo a 5 year old filling. They drilled too deep and caused tooth decay. Could no longer get a filling. Instead they had to completely pull the tooth and I was so young to have a tooth decay and be pulled. Absolutely ridiculous. I've gone here multiple times over the last few years (maybe 4 or 5 times now), and I'm pleased overall. I've had the following procedures performed: General checkup Teeth cleaning Xrays (including a panoramic xray) Wisdom teeth removed Things I'm happy with: Very attentive and friendly doctors and assistances Up to date technology Clean office Things that could be improved upon: Scheduling is hit or miss. Some times I'm in and out, and others I'm waiting up to 20+ minutes after my scheduled appointment time just to get in. Also, from time to time, the doctors and assistances seem to be over booked and working on too many patients at one time. This can lead to longer waiting times in the room. The front desk staff (one lady in particular) is pretty rude. As the other review indicated, she's not very friendly, and it reflects poorly on the entire staff. So, to conclude, I'd say this is a pretty good place to get your dental work done. I mean we're talking about dentist offices here, and like air lines or cell phone providers, one often makes their choice based upon which evil will be the easiest to deal with. That's not the case here. I feel pretty confident that I'm not getting services that I don't need pushed on me, and I've had no problems processing my insurance. YMMV. read more

I made the mistake of not looking at reviews for this place before having work done. Last summer I had two crowns done. The first one was good and although several hundred dollars more than what I typically have paid out of pocket, I attributed it to a change in insurance. Then when I went in for the second crown, they told me my out of pocket was roughly twice what I have ever paid for any crown before, about $1400. When I questioned this they said they would check again. About 10 minutes later they came to me and said they "found" $400 in "credits" and so I would only be charged 1,000 out of pocket. It all sounded very fishy. Still, paying 1,000 for a crown and another small filling out of pocket (after the insurance payment) seemed pretty high to me. I went ahead and had the work done, but I still think I was being ripped off. I also had a cleaning done last summer and they suggested that I have periodontal work done because my gums were in poor shape. Mind you they said it was not so bad that I had to have the work done but that it would be a good idea. So I agreed to have it done. It cost me several hundred dollars out of pocket. Four months later a had a follow up check up and they said my gums were in great shape. Eight months later I went in for a regular cleaning and they said I had to have a "periodontal" cleaning because of the past work that was done. Of course that would be $125 over what my insurance would pay for a cleaning. I said that I only wanted a regular cleaning that my insurance would pay for and they said that they could not do that. It sounds completely fishy to me so I canceled my appointment and I am going back to my old dentist. Since the last incident with the cleaning, I went back to my old dentist and scheduled a cleaning. I will never go back to Arvada Modern Dentistry. It was a disaster and cost me a lot of money. read more

I scheduled an appointment for a Saturday, and the day of the appointment I called to confirm the time and I was told that my appointment was canceled (note they didn't call me to tell me I had to call them). I was assured I would get a call on Monday to reschedule my appointment and discuss a credit for my inconvenience. I waited almost 3 weeks and didnt get a call, I called them today and they arent willing to adjust their schedule to accommodate me, and will not offer me a credit. Do not use. Like others, we had a horrible experience at this office. They have an office manager that is in charge if billing and insurance that was very rude to my wife. She refused to honor our insurance rate, though they claim to except our insurance. When we asked why, the explanation was basically that it generated extra work for her. My in-laws had a similar poor experience with the staff behind the desk. Also, people can see into the windows when they are working on your teeth. We did like the dentists and their modern equipment. This is a chain. If you need to use them because of your insurance, I recommend using the superior location close to costso/target/chuckie cheese. Its called marketplace dental group. Its great for kids and a fantastic office staff. worth the 15 minute drive. read more

I took advantage of there so called $59 exam, exray and "cleaning" special only to walk out without my teeth cleaned and $59 less in my pocket. $2995 is what they wanted to "sale" me but after declining there generous offer of $2995 worth of dental work and asked for "only" a basic cleaning, I was told the Hygienists was booked and I would have to reschedule. BEWARE *** My fiancée had a root canal here on Monday and has been in a lot of pain since. She hasn't slept over three hours at a time since the procedure. We called their office Wednesday morning to get help and the receptionist said to take Tylenol. That night she woke up every other hour and started vomiting. Thursday morning we called their office again and they were nice enough to let us come in at 10 am. As we were pulling into the parking lot they called and said don't bother coming in, they would call in 3 new prescriptions for her. We turned around and drove the 30 minutes back home, I dropped her off and went to the pharmacy to find out the dentist hadn't called in the prescriptions. We called them again and they informed us that there were 3 patients waiting to get checked in and then they would have time to call in the prescriptions. Arvada Modern Dentistry has the worst patient care I have ever experienced. 4 days, 4 phone calls, a wasted drive to Arvada and half of a day of vacation time and we're still waiting. I recently had two fillings and a root canal done by Dr. Grae at Arvada Modern Dentistry. Dr. Grae and the dental staff at AMD are exceptional and the work was performed with great attention to detail. My past experiences with dental offices have always been rushed, but this was different - I was cared for with sincerity and NOT treated as just a number. What a relief! As an engineer, I tend to be inquisitive and have a lot of questions about the work being performed. Any questions or concerns I had regarding the procedures or costs associated were explained to me thoroughly until I fully understood all my options. My needs as a customer were met above and beyond. Yes they have the latest technology, but they also have the highest prices, poor dental care and AWFUL customer service. I just spent $5,000 out of pocket at this place over the past 6 months. They screwed up my two crowns so badly that I cannot use them after two shavings of the crowns and $1500. Now I need a root canal. Going elsewhere. But the kicker was just now I asked the front desk women for a syringe for my $25 tube of bleach because they didn't give me one originally with the replacement tube. THEY WOULDNT GIVE ME the syringe. They acted like I was lying that I didn't get one! DONT GO HERE!!!!!! unless you want to be taken to the cleaners. Shame on them. read more

I walked out of the office without having anything done... Let me start with this - I don't usually walk out of a dental or doctor's office. It was necessary to my longevity to do so in this case. The office has a standard release form that they want you to sign. I actually take the time to read all of these. Theirs states that if something comes up, they will try to inform you of any added "things" that need to be done to you or additional medicine that needs to be administered, but sometimes they just won't be able to do so. I have severe medicinal and food (the worst which is eggs and is in many medicines) that will kill me and can not sign a contract that blindly lets a dentist choose whether or not he is going to inform me of something that will be administered to me. I take my life seriously. The dentist told me, "hey, we're not actually going to do that." I asked for them to modify the form to state what they will actually do which is tell me before something is done, as he just said they would. The dentist refused. Hmmm, now why won't they sign up to doing what they say they are going to do? No dice for me; I'm not taking the chance that they will actually do something that will send me into a severe allergic reaction and possibly kill me. By the way, this is all after you fill out their online patient informtaion form, half of which is marketing questions and cosmetic questions designed at making them more money. All of these questions are before your actual health history. Gee, what is most important to them? And these marketing questions are not optional; the form will not save unless you answer these questions. This office clearly wasted my time. It is a shame when these companies are there only for profit and want to say anything to keep you there but aren't actually willing to sign off on what they just said they would do. But you want me to sign off saying it is ok that you don't do what you just said you would do. No thanks! read more

I cannot recommend this place. Went in for a checkup (admittedly it had been a long time). I had a filling and a deep clean over two checkups, have good insurance, and still ended up paying over $800 out of pocket. In addition, It was recommended to me that I get a consult for a root canal, and every estimate I received prior to the consult did not have anything about there being a fee. After receiving my bill I was charged $75 for the consult. When I asked them about it, they offered to remove the fee from my next bill. This may seem ok, but I paid so much out of pocket as it is and am finding that what they billed my insurance company is incredibly expensive, meaning I may be getting a bill for even more out of pocket. My impression is that they are only interested in billing you as much as possible and not the actual care of your teeth. Will not be going back, cannot recommend. read more

I agree with Lulu. They have fancy gadgets and are vastly over priced. My first visit, they misdiagnosed a tooth and sent me to a gum specialist. The gum specialist then apologized for them, because it was clearly a tooth issue (that cost me $60). Went to another dentist who diagnosed it instantly and took care of it. I then went back there (mistake) and scheduled an appointment. They had me tell my insurance company to call them to ensure I was still insured. I was then able to schedule my appointment. I call the day of my appointment to double check the exact time and they said I was no where on their schedule. I rescheduled. They call the day before for a courtesy reminder and tell me they need me to get a hold of my insurance company again to ensure I am insured. I do so and show up the day of for my simple fillings. They then inform me there that it was going to cost me 270. I inform them my insurance typically covers this procedure and they claim that my insurance only covers an archaic way of doing the procedure. I cancel and call up the first dentist I can and they inform me they will do the procedure I wanted for free (the same procedure they informed me no one does any more). I have been to bad dentist, but this place is without a doubt the worst. Over priced, hard to work with, and illustrate little care for their patients. read more
