I would never go back to this place…read more I went in for tooth pain in an upper tooth on my left side and they said oh you need crown they did a temporary crown and I told them my tooth was still bothering me at that time. I went back to get the crown put in and I told him that my tooth was still bothering me he said that the pain would go away. I went back after the crown was installed and said that I have extreme pain in that same tooth and they said oh you need a root canal. It does not make sense to me to put in a finished product and then have someone go in there and drill through a finished product to do a root canal. I went and got a root canal after going through a month of tooth pain before and after the ceramic crown was installed. I don't see how they can stay in business with this type of professionalism. On top of all that I had a dental cleaning scheduled a couple of months after this period of time and they said that I told them that I was not coming back when I called them. I was in very bad tooth pain and I said I might not be back. They never gave me a notice or anything that they canceled my appointment and I showed up and they told me my appointment had been canceled with no notice. Patient beware!!!

I was told that the best option would be to prep and crown every single tooth. Dr. Chae is truly remarkable. His craft and precision are SECOND TO NONE. This entire practice is elite. I know this because I'm a son of a dentist and I can confidently say that this practices the most elite practice that I've ever experienced in my long history of dental care. Dr. Chae crowned every tooth and my smile looks real to the extent that people have complimented me on my teeth not knowing that what they are seeing are actually crowns. I went from an eroded, shortened teeth due to grinding and ended up with a genuinely beautiful smile that sincerely looks 100% real. I have increased my dental hygiene to the extent that I have a water pick and toothbrush at work after I eat lunch. I am so happy with my smile that I want it to last as long as possible as I am 31 and presumably have a lot of life ahead of me. I feel confident in the longevity of the total mouth rehabilitation given the extreme detail that Dr. Chae practices (he redid what was supposed to be an original final crown because they were not exactly how he wanted them to be at no extra cost, but just because of his demanding of perfection to the extent that is possible). It was a long process, the full mouth rehabilitation took around 15 visits over 6 months of multiple sets of temporary crowns, each improving on the last. I would trust Dr. Chae with my mouth forever because I know that he simply demands perfection and I have responded to his enthusiasm by implementing a strict floss 2x daily, waterpick 3x daily, brush 3x daily because I want my mouth to look exactly how it does now for as long as possible. I am confident that this rehabilitation will last a very long time given my new dental hygiene routine. If anything were to change, I would only go to Dr. Chae and this practice. There are several prosthodontists and their performance I can tell is similarly detail oriented, and elite. But given the fact that Dr. Chae completely rehabilitated my mouth, I would go nowhere else. I supremely recommend this practice more than five stars. It is as top notch as you can get. I can confidently say that if I were a patient, I would trust Dr. Chae's treatment plan and work over anybody else. In response to Barron Family Dental's reply:…read more Before my appointment, I took deliberate steps to confirm that Barron Family Dental was in-network for my specific plan -- Cigna DPPO Advantage. I provided my physical insurance card to your front desk, explicitly asked for verification based on that plan, and was told more than once that your office and the treating provider were in-network. After receiving a significantly higher-than-expected bill, I contacted Cigna directly. During that call -- which occurred shortly after the appointment -- a Cigna representative and I searched their system for Dr. Abigail Nye. At the time, she was not listed under any Cigna network. Not just for my plan -- she simply did not appear in their provider system at all. Now, after the fact, Dr. Nye appears in Cigna's directory -- but only under the Total and Total Plus plan networks. She is still not listed under Cigna DPPO Advantage, which is the plan I have. Yet your office's own PDF -- linked on your website -- explicitly lists "Cigna DPPO Advantage Dentist" under accepted in-network plans. That was part of what influenced my decision to book with your office. The issue here is not just confusion over plan names. It's about negligent misrepresentation. I presented my insurance card, asked your staff to verify network status for my specific plan, and was assured that I was covered. Cigna's billing and coverage records -- both then and now -- do not support that assurance. I was billed at out-of-network rates because the provider was not, and is still not, in-network for my plan. Even if your network affiliations have since changed, that does not retroactively justify what happened at the time of my appointment. Patients have a legal and ethical right to rely on what they're told by a provider's staff when verifying coverage. If I had been informed honestly that the provider wasn't in-network, I would have made a different decision. This situation has caused avoidable financial harm, and I've submitted documentation to the appropriate regulatory authorities. The inconsistency between what your staff communicated, what your website claimed, and what Cigna confirmed is not acceptable. Your website says advantage dentists and I have a ppo advantage plan. Your desk people literally took my card twice and assured me I was covered, intentional or not if it wasn't untrue, that doesn't excuse it from being a point of negligent misrepresentation. This truly is a clear cut small claims case. As well as I have transcripts of the call logs with Cigna dental. Whether or not the dental board wants to waste their time with it is one thing but that doesn't mean that what I'm saying is incorrect. In fact I have a feeling a small claims court would see otherwise.

I asked if I was going to get my teeth cleaned today and the root canal that they recommended and they said that I had to schedule an appointment with both the hygienist and the endodontist. Ok.... Then they told me the endodontist is only there twice a month. So I had to wait another week or more to get anything done for the pain I'm in. When they did the temperature check on my teeth they held the cold on there way to long and it was SOOO painful. Then they left it on my lip and burned my lip. So now I have a big lump on my lip.
