Came here for a root canal and a crown. I'm disabled and use…read morea walker, it was difficult to navigate the tight maze of exam rooms and equipment in this place. Additionally, I have difficulty laying prone for any length of time, the staff and the endodontist seemed puzzled by this, and frankly exhibited a little impatience with my need to keep my back elevated to relieve pressure on my hips, which are severely arthritic. I understand that they need access to my mouth, but I can't be in excruciating pain during the procedure, either. The endodontist went right in with the shot, no gum swab to numb up the area first, and said they don't do that for this procedure. Every other root canal in my life was preceeded by the gum swab, so I was puzzled by this. When he got in there, he was pretty rough, pressure on my front teeth for leverage and a fair amount of pinching the cheek. I will say he was damn quick about it, and shortly after he was done, the regular dentist put my crown on. All in all, I was fairly discombobulated by the whole experience, and I don't think I'll be coming back.

It seems there was a misunderstanding about the statement I was asking for and it takes time for insurance companies to square away payments with dental offices. She removed me from their Collection List immediately. Thank God this mis-step won't affect my credit report. My issue has been completely resolved. I paid for my dental services through a payment plan for my wisdom teeth extraction. Almost a year after I had the procedure and finished the payment plan, I received a call that I owed $213 due to my insurance company not covering the anesthesia is what the office told me. I told them please send me a paper bill and I would like to contact my insurance company before I pay it. I have been waiting for the paper bill and have not received any notice from the office. Again, I called and they updated my address, told me the amount has been adjusted to $196 and said the Office Manager would reach out to me. I never received a call from her. Again, I just called the office to see what is the update with receiving the bill and they informed me that they placed the balance in Collection. I have not received any notice from a Collection Agency yet. I never received a due date or even statement notice to see what the amount was for specifically. I am working on my credit and think it is truly unfair that I didn't receive any notice besides a phone call regarding the balance. I have reported this issue to the Better Business Bureau and am still waiting to hear from the Office Manager.

Full story: I scheduled an apt with a young gentleman during my last apt in May. Showed up on time for my appointment in Sept & was told I had no appointment scheduled that day or at all & they would not see me. I was extremely frustrated: I woke up early, drove far, & took an hour off work. I was hesitant to reschedule & asked how they make these situations right. The front desk rep said there was nothing they could do, that man who "scheduled" my last apt is no longer working for them, & implied he left them a mess to clean up. I was not happy with this response, & she told me she'd call me back same day after talking to her manager. As expected, I never heard back. A week later I called for an update & was told the manager had been out all week, which conflicts with what I was originally told & felt like a lie to cover, & still didn't excuse the lack of a follow-up call she promised. Brandi (manager) then called, apologized they no-showed me, & said sternly there was nothing more they could do & they "never comp services because it would be insurance fraud." I insisted they make up for my wasted time & explained that in the past I declined an X-ray my insurance didn't cover, & the doctor insisted on taking it & comped it. When I confronted her on her lie to avoid taking accountability, she agreed to talk to her boss & call back by the next day. Again, I received no call back. When I reached out, she said she tried to call & offer a complimentary fluoride treatment. I had no missed calls, but I accepted. I showed up for the rescheduled 7 a.m. appointment 13 minutes late (100% my fault). Brandi refused to let the hygienist see me, saying they need a FULL hour before their 8 a.m. appointment to do a cleaning & flip the room. I own being late, however they had more than 45 minutes before the next patient & still refused to see me for a simple cleaning. Brandi could have been human, taken all the failures I experienced into consideration, & made an exception for me being a mere 13 late. Instead she took delight in hiding behind policy, was snarky during our convos & raised her voice when explaining rules are rules. The girl (Dr Bottoms daughter) that worked on me finished up and then something went wrong. She attempted to take the"temporary" crown off and pulled, pried, and used a block of something they put in boiling water, then stuck it on your teeth! Well, she pulled and poked and tried to get it loose and it would not budge She finally gave up and said, "we will let nature take its course!" I was having total shoulder surgery and the dr really impressed on me the dentistry could cause an infection to the arm. I worried about this from that first day until this past week! Constantly on my mind all those months! When, after months, I went in to put the real crown on, they questioned if I didn't like the color. I said,"This is a temporary", so they took an XRay. Imagine my shock and upset when he told me it was a permanent replaced tooth! I worried and was afraid for 7 months because this was to be replaced when I was healed enough from shoulder surgery to do so. Even when I didn't have insurance, Dr. Jung's prices have been super reasonable. About $200 per year for cleanings and x-rays twice a year, which was about what I would pay for insurance outside of my employer. One time I did have a cavity that didn't hurt. Dr. Jung showed me the proof with x-rays and it only cost $95 to fill. The front desk staff has been super friendly and greeted me by name for every appointment. I am particularly happy with their new dental hygienist, Maureen. She was super nice and took the time to clean my teeth very thoroughly. She didn't use that water pick thingy (magnetostrictive ultrasonic scaler) to clean my teeth, which I find to be annoying and occasionally painful. She just used the normal scalers and was super detailed. But it didn't take long at all. And we had a good talk. She seems to understand I can't talk while my mouth is being cleaned and didn't ask questions until I could respond, which I appreciate. I go out of my way (about 30 minutes) to see this dentist. He's great.

The hygienist, Hannah is great and Dr Darwin is excellent. Everyone in the office are friendly and very helpful. The location is new and clean, and they have the newest and most advanced dental equipment I've ever seen. I'm so happy I found this office.
