LOL?? What could improve? Just about everything! My first visit was in August 2025 with Dr Bottoms…read more I had a crown that failed and they ground it down, made the crown that day, but that is when I do not know what happened. The girl (Dr Bottoms daughter) that worked on me finished up and then something went wrong. She attempted to take the"temporary" crown off and pulled, pried, and used a block of something they put in boiling water, then stuck it on your teeth! Well, she pulled and poked and tried to get it loose and it would not budge She finally gave up and said, "we will let nature take its course!" I was having total shoulder surgery and the dr really impressed on me the dentistry could cause an infection to the arm. I worried about this from that first day until this past week! Constantly on my mind all those months! When, after months, I went in to put the real crown on, they questioned if I didn't like the color. I said,"This is a temporary", so they took an XRay. Imagine my shock and upset when he told me it was a permanent replaced tooth! I worried and was afraid for 7 months because this was to be replaced when I was healed enough from shoulder surgery to do so. Dr Bottoms called after I left a message, nothing apologetic about any of the mistakes. $2000.+ for a huge aggravation!

Unfortunately, after following Dr. K from her previous practice, Summit Dental didn't accept my…read moreprivate insurance nor my medicaid dental plan. Her assistant, Jackie, botched multiple fillings that had to be filed down after the fact and continue to cause problems that can't be resolved without an out-of-pocket replacement. While Summit was able to get me a new retainer, the quality is questionable at best. I sought out a female practitioner and team who advertised experience and understanding of dental anxiety, but everyone I spoke to seemed ambivalent or even confused anytime I expressed concern about money or the quality of the work that was being done. I'm stuck with subpar fillings and will have to find a new provider anyway; I would caution new patients before pursuing care here.

All of my experiences at Mountain Range Dentistry have been exceptional, except for one. The…read morehonest, and state-of-the-art dental care that is provided at this office is superb. I would avoid seeing Dr. Schubert, though. Dr. Schubert is incredibly condescending, rude, and unfair. If you have dental issues, she explains them to you like you are a moron, or a five-year-old child. Also, if you struggle to get time away from work on a week day, drive 1/2 an hour one way to see a good dentist, miss your exit, and still arrive within the 15-minute grace period of your appointment time (even if it is a 3 hour, important appointment, and the last appointment of the work day.) Dr. Schubert will send you away. She would rather cost one client hours of their work day, and hundreds of dollars, than leave work even one minute past the hour. She seems power driven. I like the other doctors who seem to genuinely care about their patients and their practice. I highly recommend this office as long as you avoid Dr. Schubert.

Even when I didn't have insurance, Dr. Jung's prices have been super reasonable. About $200 per year for cleanings and x-rays twice a year, which was about what I would pay for insurance outside of my employer. One time I did have a cavity that didn't hurt. Dr. Jung showed me the proof with x-rays and it only cost $95 to fill. The front desk staff has been super friendly and greeted me by name for every appointment. I am particularly happy with their new dental hygienist, Maureen. She was super nice and took the time to clean my teeth very thoroughly. She didn't use that water pick thingy (magnetostrictive ultrasonic scaler) to clean my teeth, which I find to be annoying and occasionally painful. She just used the normal scalers and was super detailed. But it didn't take long at all. And we had a good talk. She seems to understand I can't talk while my mouth is being cleaned and didn't ask questions until I could respond, which I appreciate. I go out of my way (about 30 minutes) to see this dentist. He's great.
