Timber dental was a great dentist office to go to when I was living in the area! The hygienists and receptionist were always very friendly. The one thing that bothered me a bit was that I would always feel pressured to schedule my next appointment fat in advance and reassured that it was no issue because I could always reschedule, but was always given the reminder text or call on a Friday while working and then they would close for the weekend, leaving me without time to reschedule within the grace period, and resulting in some cancellation fees. Totally understand why these are in place and that I should be better about remembering my appointments, but sometimes I just forget as many people do I am sure! read more

Staff was phenomenal and kind. My hygienist went over everything before and as she was working, felt informed throughout the entire time. Office had a comfortable fee. Dr Ionescu was kind and informative as well. read more

Been coming here for years, since Dr Ionescu was the sole DDS. They have added two more DDSs since. They have done a great job with my teeth and gums. They have never suggested an unnecessary procedure. Their hygienist Ayleen is awesome! read more

Very FRUSTRATING experience and I DO NOT recommend Timber Dental. They gave me a treatment plan on my first visit and I paid the amount I owed up front be because that is their policy. On my first visit, I had treatment (root canal) I had a pleasant experience. They scheduled me to come back for a permanent crown and to complete the remaining work that needed to be done as part of my treatment (which I paid for upfront). During this second visit, they ran out of time and weren't able to complete the work I was scheduled for (again, paid for upfront) and asked me to make a new appointment to complete the work for my treatment care that they didn't have time to complete. I also scheduled a cleaning for the same upcoming appointment. Before I left, the second appointment, I confirmed with Dr Siri that there would NOT be a fee for the next visit since I paid the fee upfront. She confirmed. Today during my appointment, they completed the cleaning and numbed my mouth in preparation for my last part of the treatment (I already paid for). When I sat in the chair to have the last part of treatment, Court handed me an iPad and asked for my signature for treatment consent. After signing the consent forms, Court gave me the iPad again asking for my signature to consent to pay $400 today. I asked why I was being charged $400 even though I already prepaid for the treatment. Court could not answer my question so he had someone from Finance come in and talk to me. As we discussed the fee, she could not give me a definitive answer as to why I owned $400 before the treatment. She went to the front desk and I overheard them talking. So, while my mouth was completely numb, I decided to go to the front desk to see if I could help sort out the issue. They asked me to sit down and speak with Jennifer at the front desk to go over everything. At this point I was very calm and told her that I wasn't upset or frustrated and just wanted to help sort everything out. During the course of the conversation, I was given three different amounts I owed. It went from $400, to $73, to $117, then back up to $367. They could not give me an exact amount due or explanation for an upfront payment for treatment today. I spend several minutes going over all the paperwork. During this time, Jennifer said she understood my frustration. At that moment I was not frustrated and told her that. However, Jennifer was clearly frustrated and raised her voice and repeatedly said the same things. Because of this, I did become frustrated and told her that I no longer wanted to continue with the treatment plan and just wanted to leave. I spoke with Dr Siri and she verbally agreed that during my last appointment she told me that I would not have anything to pay for today's visit because I prepaid for the treatment. My feedback is that the front desk should have the treatment plan, receipts, and explanation of charges BEFORE they numb you and have you sitting in the chair for treatment. I have never left a dentist appointment during mid-treatment. But today's experience was so bad that I did not finish the appointment and left with my mouth completely numb. My advice is DON'T GO to this dental clinic. If you decide to go there, be sure to carefully review your charges and payments in advance. I truly believe that they were trying to charge me for things I already paid for or didn't agree to. It left me feeling like I was being ripped off. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!! read more

I called with a broken front tooth, they got me in right away to see Dr. Siri. Who is incredible at making you feel at ease if you dental anxiety. She was so kind, zero judgment, and truly made me feel optimistic about my situation. She set me up with a treatment plan to get my dental health under control and I couldn't be happier with how my front tooth turned out. I go back in a few weeks for some major dental work and I feel like I'm in the best hands read more

Had a routine cleaning scheduled for a Monday and called due to childcare falling through last minute , I've only been here one time before and the service was ok . Immediately the front desk woman who answered the phone was completely rude and told me that they have a 48 hour policy cancellation and would be charging $129 if I missed the appointment. No understanding or empathy was used by her,I was in an unexpected predicament and she could care less . She was a cold heartless person who clearly doesn't care about losing patients , all I did was call to reschedule and she tried to bully me into coming in and bringing my three kids who, by the way one of them is one years old. There was no way I was going to be able to receive care with my three small children there. I asked her was I just supposed to bring them and she said yeah you can do that if you want to( condescending and rude because of course I couldn't bring them and be able to get my teeth cleaned) I never signed anything stating I would agree to the fee so she came back on the phone and said they wouldn't charge me because I didn't sign it. Good thing things work out for a reason because the way she handled herself and the way she represented this business I will never be back and I will never recommend anybody go there. Funny because they kept calling me for months repeatedly to try to get me to come back. Seems like they need people and bodies in their chairs that bad to where they will be willing to bully their patients instead of being understanding or personable with them, it must all be about money for this dentist office . That's how businesses fail ! Good luck. read more

Had a great experience here! I needed 4 fillings and was able to get in the very next day. The lobby is welcoming and beautifully decorated, everyone was super nice and successfully catered to my every need. I was concerned about being able to afford the care I needed, so they made sure to be 100% upfront about pricing before any work was done, and they gave me different options to work with. Thank you! read more

Inspires patient confidence and safety. Competent, easefully unselfconsciously brilliant Dr. I came here for a second opinion and left with a confirmed light heart. My continuing-education-oriented gnatho-ortho-based holistic dentist retired over a year ago. Finding a replacement has been very difficult. I'm a brush-when-I-eat-type of person, in good health, focused on nutrition, no health complaints. The holistic dentist I tried early this ear finished the exam, then advised me of some alarming, shocking news; drew a dire picture of my immediate oral future, advocating an oral surgeon asap and imperative root planing. A surprise diagnostic, unprepared for such a turn in my life. I had no symptoms to indicate I was in such a state. Shortly afterward, a holistic therapist - who had been deep in dentistry before her career transformation, heard my report, queried the lack of symptoms and advised a second opinion. Ultimately, she referred me to Timber Dental Care because of a recent visit there with her daughter. First off she told me Dr Ionescu had won many awards, yet presented himself as a genuinely good-hearted caring human being. Next in importance, she pumped him with probing questions into the background of procedure and so on, to test his knowledge and detail, very specific and involved, and he seemed surprised at first but entered into the exchange with ease, ready information, clarity, detail, awareness and interest. He permitted her to observe the implant procedure on her daughter. She recognized a genius at work - showing perfection in procedures, interest in the given situation, delicacy in precision, care and compassion. Thus, I felt I could give it a try. I was swept off my feet, so to speak, by the good Dr and his hygienist and staff. He is easeful confident, broad-minded, encyclopedic beyond dentistry. My situation is NOT a dire one at all! He explained how it is that some dentists can inaccurately assume certain things based on certain evidence. That helped me to understand the other dentist was not a fraudster. Dr Ionescu's experience with bone (he does implants, wisdom tooth extractions...) and orthodontia gave him a better view of my situation. I'm over the moon grateful to have been led to his practise!!! The staff represents him well, as extensions of his own consideration and intelligent awareness, showing various levels of experience, care, and affability. A 45-minute drive for me to visit here is nothing when compared to the amazing wealth of information, education, and reassurance I received from him and his hygienist. read more
