The actual service went great. However, I paid upfront before insurance was billed. I have been trying to collect my overpayment for the past two months. I have called numerous times, only to be told the billing department will reach out. I bet you can guess: Billing never reaches out. Even my insurance company called them to verify overpayment and to make sure they return the funds and still, nothing. I met with Dr. Ballenger and he said my extraction should be straigh forward. He gave me injections. He then started to pull, it HURT. I told him how much it hurt and he said he could not put an injection That deep? I have had several extractions at other locations and have never felt anything but pressure. I asked me regular dentist and they said he was probably impatient and should have waited longer for the injection to kick in. I am still very traumatized. I am also still getting pain in my jaw 2 weeks later. Guess I should have not gone with Dr. Ballenger. Make sure you go with the person whose name is on the door. read more

First time I was here I had a couple front teeth implants. The staff and Dr. Burnham where outstanding. They turned out perfect, you CANNOT tell they're implants. I have had so many teeth extracted and I can genuinely say this was the most painless extraction I have ever experienced. I am so grateful to him and his staff. I've driven pass this business many a times and literally didn't know they existed. I was recommended to this office from my dentist. The whole entire staff was an absolute pleasure to work with. They were very helpful and nice. Answered any and all the questions I had. Before, during, and after my procedure, they made sure I was comfortable. They provided me with a set of instructions, water bottle, and gauze after my procedure. Dr. Burnham also called to ensure how I was doing and recovering. On top of the call, his office also delivered a large bouquet of flowers. They are currently under renovations but the office is already so pristine with top notch equipment. Where do I i even begin? I'm crying as I type this. As someone who had a horrific And traumatizing past experience with oral surgery, I have since put off having an impacted wisdom tooth removed for almost 3 years. It was so infected it killed the molar in front of it. I was told by numerous dentists that they both had to come out asap. I have spent the past 3 years in agony, going from surgeon to surgeon and chickening out at the last minute, then never going back out of embarrassment. My two teeth all the meanwhile were starting to crumble and even landed me in the ER with a systemic infection. I knew it was time or I was going to be in big trouble. From the friendly and smiling receptionist, to the warm, comforting and patient surgery assistants, to the man of the hour- the amazing Dr. Burnham himself- the experience was the very best. They made me feel as if I were the most important person there. They explained every single thing to me before doing it, checked in with me during the procedure, put headphones with spa music on for me, held my hand, gave me a warm blanket and just really made me feel safe and in good hands. Patient beware! While the office itself is nice, there is a reason for it! My daughter went in for a consult, which cost $155 for them to try and charge $4,000 for 4 wisdom teeth. We have done our research and 3 other practices do not even charge half of that. I would also like to put it out there that when we asked if her teeth had issues making the price so high? They responded "No. they will be super easy." I just want people to look at multiple offices and not get ripped off by a place like that. Plus, $155 to have a consult? That is crazy. Plus, we brought in her Pano so they had literally nothing to do yet still charged us. Research, people so you can avoid a unnecessary $155 and $4,000 bill for a "40 min, easy procedure." read more

Had an appointment because of severe mouth pain. Had to wait almost an hour after my appointment time and then they didn't even have the correct info. I suppose the referring dentist has a part to play in that as well , however they weren't able to proceed with any consult due to not having the right xray and pushed off calling over for it for the next 2 days because of a meeting. I couldn't have been more pleased with how the extraction of all four wisdom teeth went. Each member of the staff was incredibly kind and professional. I experienced no discomfort during the procedure. They took my own white blood cells and packed the wounds with the platelets to speed the healing... AND they offered that service at no cost just because they believe in the benefits so greatly. I got some wisdom teeth taken out a week ago by Dr. Stearns and she did an amazing job. I've had my lower wisdom teeth taken by a different doctor and he had just numbed me. She requested I do the same with the upper and I can honestly say I was a little nervous to do this since my last experience wasn't so well. I went through with it anyways and trusted her decision and I'm glad I did. She suggested some laugh gas to help me relax. The day of the procedure comes and I was done within 15-20 minutes I didn't feel a thing. They had given me a blanket for comfort and some music so I wouldn't freak out over any noise that might of happened and to help me relax some more. Mind you I had a total of 3 wisdom teeth along with some stitches on my right side. Dr. Stearns along with her assistant was very comforting and made sure I was doing well through the whole thing and to make sure I didn't feel anything. After a week I went in and besides a bruise on my cheek(which was expected) everything is healing phenomenally and I couldn't be happy with the job done and also the reasonable price! I went to this office to have my preop and oral surgery. I was very hesitant because so many places in the medical community are harsh, unapproachable, and self serving. I had previously had my left-side wisdom teeth out at Marketplace dental (owned by Pacific Dental) and they were ruthless, The owners of Pacific dental are all about money and care nothing about the customers, not to mention several of their office staff complaining to me that they were abused by the corporation. However, when I went to Buhrnam's office, I was in for a wonderful surprise. The front desk was totally Professional, kind and compassionate. DR Burnham's office is hospitable at minimum. Every single person was positive and kind. The place was clean, up-to-date, and had the latest technology. I went in to see Dr. Stearns who explained the procedure better than any doctor I have ever been to. She also cared. Unlike marketplace dental who lied to us about prices and tried to upsell us all the time, Dr. Stearns and Dr. Burnham offered the service of spinning my blood and then injected in the platelets into the place of surgery. Not only did Dr Stearns do an excellent oral surgery but she call me the night after surgery to make sure I was OK. Wow, that is the only place I've ever been to that really cared that much. Dr. Stearns Is most qualified with a DDS and MD. She finished her medical school at Emory University which is just one step below Harvard and Yale. She is probably the most qualified in town. Just think, the dental hygienist at marketplace dental intentionally hurt me and my wife by being extra rough when we did not buy the more expensive cleaning and so I was afraid to go in here to Burnham's office but now I wish that all of my medical appointments would be there. If all medical offices were half as good has this wonderful office, the dental and medical fields would be a better place. read more

I was referred to Burnham Oral Surgery, for a complex impacted wisdom tooth removal. They did an amazing job, not just with the surgery, but all around! They were so gracious to accommodate my crazy work schedule, and went above and beyond with everything. Dr. Burnham cares greatly about your care as an individual and gives you all possible options for your care. I got all four of my wisdom teeth out and my pain was minimal and managed without narcotics. I also had a minor complication of infection at one extraction site (my fault) and his office was able to bring me in and start treating it that same day. Dr. Burnham himself even called later that night to check on me to ensure I was doing okay which I never had a doctor do before. I believe he is the best surgeon in practice and he wants the best outcomes for his patients. As long as you follow his directions he provides to you before, during and after your treatment, you will surely have the best possible experience you can have at an oral surgery office.
