Months were added to my plan because I had to do "refinements" to try to undo the terrible looking changes he made to my teeth against my wishes and in opposition to what he told me he was doing. He literally lied to my face about how much my upper teeth would be moved forward and down. In appointments, I felt pressured to agree to plans I did not like or understand. He only offered the "refinements" after I wrote an email with my concerns. I guess having something in writing made him pay attention. He didn't respond well, calling me rude and "combative against treatment." Sorry if it's hard to be cheerful when I've not been heard for months and my treatment is taking longer and longer and looked terrible, and the information I'm given is very brief and uninformative. He even complained about me refusing processes that were never presented and weren't mentioned AT ALL during my initial set of aligners. That caught me off guard and seemed unprofessional. Medical professionals should treat patients with respect, not ignore them, or undermine them, and actually spend time at scheduled appointments to answer questions, instead of making it seem like questions are not allowed. Important information should be provided. It seems like he pushes Invisalign to maintain a status as a provider but once you sign the paperwork and the payment, you're just an inconvenience.

I would never go back to this place…read more I went in for tooth pain in an upper tooth on my left side and they said oh you need crown they did a temporary crown and I told them my tooth was still bothering me at that time. I went back to get the crown put in and I told him that my tooth was still bothering me he said that the pain would go away. I went back after the crown was installed and said that I have extreme pain in that same tooth and they said oh you need a root canal. It does not make sense to me to put in a finished product and then have someone go in there and drill through a finished product to do a root canal. I went and got a root canal after going through a month of tooth pain before and after the ceramic crown was installed. I don't see how they can stay in business with this type of professionalism. On top of all that I had a dental cleaning scheduled a couple of months after this period of time and they said that I told them that I was not coming back when I called them. I was in very bad tooth pain and I said I might not be back. They never gave me a notice or anything that they canceled my appointment and I showed up and they told me my appointment had been canceled with no notice. Patient beware!!!

They were very quick to respond and I was able to get an appointment quickly. Prior to my appointment, they sent me all the forms I needed to complete to speed up the process. I also appreciated that they sent me reminder text messages to ensure that I wouldn't forget my appointment. When I arrived the check-in process was painless and quick. After about 2 minutes in the waiting room I was called in and taken to my designated room. The gentleman who brought me to the room was extremely personable and professional while he explained everything that they would be doing during the visit. He informed me of everything that was covered with the visit and confirmed that I was okay with the pricing as well prior to anything being performed. I was then passed to the hygienist (Katherine I believe) who was so incredibly nice. She made sure that I was comfortable throughout the whole cleaning and was very thorough which I was grateful for. She was very helpful and told me about getting a Sonicare Toothbrush and how it would help with keeping my teeth healthier. She also mentioned that Costco had a deal with them (thank you for that)! Who is this Murphy guy any way and why does he get to make the Laws?? Well I was looking for a dentist in Colorado, but wasn't really serious yet (because I didn't NEED one) so I kept putting it off until one was NEEDED. Well, finally I needed one for a root canal. Saw a Haystack paid commercial and ended up at Barotz Dental because I wanted a tooth implant. Dr. Barotz told me even though he would sell me an implant for $thousands!$ he would recommend a root canal instead. $1900!!! OMFG!!! That's not including the cap I would need to go over it! When I left his office I had to nearly beg for a prescription for my pain and abscess. I got 2 pills a day for 5 days of Amoxicillian. Any other dentist or doctor would give a 10 day and at least 3 pills a day. Oh yea, and 5 mg of Vicodin, a few pills. I ended up throwing those out because they didn't work on me. I thought his bedside mannor was awful too because when he found out I didn't have that much money to give to him, his attitude completely changed. I really can't stand it when people do that to me. What, I'm your friend when you think I have something to give? That's not ethical. Now, for Dr. Nakamura..... this guy is THE dentist to go to!!!! His office staff is the THE NICEST EVER!!! They know what they are doing, are very personable and professional. The cost for my root canal was VERY reasonable and what I expected to pay a dentist. When I was in the chair he kept asking if I was ok and I never even felt the pinch of the needle. How amazing! I have been to this dentistry at least 3 times for regular dental cleaning and each time it's been…read morea total nightmare! The first time, Dr. Tindrell wanted to refill all of my fillings because they were "old." I did not have any problems with any of my fillings over the years! I didn't allow the x-ray to be taken and quickly hopped out of his dentist chair upon finding out that the procedure was going to cost thousands of dollars, despite having Comfort Dental's Gold Plan insurance. Three days later, I received an office bill of an evaluation for nearly $40, which the Gold Plan Insurance didn't cover, despite Dr. Tindrell not cleaning my teeth, which was my reason for the initial appointment. During the second visit, I was forced to wait for an hour for the lady dentist Dr. Ferguson, in her dental chair. X-rays and measurements were taken, but cleaning was not accomplished because they wanted me to spend thousands of dollars more for 2 visits of deep cleaning, including numbing painful injections which again were out-of-pocket and not covered by insurance. A simple cleaning is all I need! I still had to pay a $35 non-deductible fee upon leaving for the office visit, despite having absolutely no cleaning done! The insurance counted that as cleaning on a 6-month service plan, so I couldn't go back for another 6 months unless it was at my own expense. The third visit, this time again with Dr. Tindrell, was insane! He refused to use the scaler device for a simple annual cleaning because he wanted me to sign a disclaimer for not heeding his advice for deep root cleaning. All I received was a couple of manual scrapes on one tooth as he pretended to clean my teeth, reluctantly, because he wanted me to spend thousands of dollars for unnecessary treatment (root scaling). After the pandemic, Comfort Dental has become greedy by price-gouging its loyal patients!
