Glad to have the chance to decline though if I didn't want it. Was there for a total of 45 mins for the whole cleaning and exam, no X-Rays this time since I just had some in January. When you make a mistake of being 13 min late, Brandi will take pride in throwing their stone policy book at you & refuse you. Full saga: I scheduled an apt with a young gentleman during my last apt in May. Showed up on time for my appointment in Sept & was told I had no appointment scheduled that day or at all & they would not see me. I was extremely frustrated: I woke up early, drove far, & took an hour off work. I was hesitant to reschedule & asked how they make these situations right. The front desk rep said there was nothing they could do, that man who "scheduled" my last apt is no longer working for them, & implied he left them a mess to clean up. I was not happy with this response, & she told me she'd call me back same day after talking to her manager. As expected, I never heard back. A week later I called for an update & was told the manager had been out all week, which conflicts with what I was originally told & felt like a lie to cover, & still didn't excuse the lack of a follow-up call she promised. Brandi (manager) then called, apologized they no-showed me, & said sternly there was nothing more they could do & they "never comp services because it would be insurance fraud." I insisted they make up for my wasted time & explained that in the past I declined an X-ray my insurance didn't cover, & the doctor insisted on taking it & comped it. When I confronted her on her lie to avoid taking accountability, she agreed to talk to her boss & call back by the next day. Again, I received no call back. When I reached out, she said she tried to call & offer a complimentary fluoride treatment. I had no missed calls, but I accepted. I showed up for the rescheduled 7 a.m. appointment 13 minutes late (100% my fault). Brandi refused to let the hygienist see me, saying they need a FULL hour before their 8 a.m. appointment to do a cleaning & flip the room. I own being late, however they had more than 45 minutes before the next patient & still refused to see me for a simple cleaning. Brandi could have been human, taken all the failures I experienced into consideration, & made an exception for me being a mere 13 late. Instead she took delight in hiding behind policy, was snarky during our convos & raised her voice when explaining rules are rules. Stay far away from any orchard dental group run offices if you value your time and energy.

The girl (Dr Bottoms daughter) that worked on me finished up and then something went wrong. She attempted to take the"temporary" crown off and pulled, pried, and used a block of something they put in boiling water, then stuck it on your teeth! Well, she pulled and poked and tried to get it loose and it would not budge She finally gave up and said, "we will let nature take its course!" I was having total shoulder surgery and the dr really impressed on me the dentistry could cause an infection to the arm. I worried about this from that first day until this past week! Constantly on my mind all those months! When, after months, I went in to put the real crown on, they questioned if I didn't like the color. I said,"This is a temporary", so they took an XRay. Imagine my shock and upset when he told me it was a permanent replaced tooth! I worried and was afraid for 7 months because this was to be replaced when I was healed enough from shoulder surgery to do so. I told them I could, and I arrived at 8:15 am. I was happy to help, and thought I'd have a chance to be treated, then go home and get ready for work. Unfortunately, I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes, and was not seen until 9 am! I could've gotten ready for work, prior to my 9 am dental appointment, and arrived to work on time. However, they had me arrive early, then had me sit and wait in the waiting room for 45 minutes! To make matters worse, not only was I late for work, but I was charged $75, by Dr. Peterson, who took less then 5 minutes to file and polish the retainer that had a sharp edge, which was my only concern. I contacted the practice manager Debbie and advised her of the scheduling fiasco, which resulted in my being late for work, and how I was upset about being charged $75, for something simple that took Dr. Petersen less then 5 minutes. Debbie said she'd discuss this with Dr. Petersen and call me back. Well, it's been 3 days since I spoke with her and she has yet to call me back. Two of my siblings are dentists. They were both disgusted by my being charged $75 to file down a sharp edge of a retainer, which again, took less then 5 minutes. This is not an appropriate fee for service. Dr Leo was a consummate professional and his "chairside" manner immediately put me at ease.
