What should have been beef tacos were actually chicken taquitos. They were ok. The tamales were fresh but lacked sufficient meat so I it felt like I was just eating breading thus, I didn't finish them. They also needed more seasoning. I have had better Mexican food elsewhere. In contrast, the plantains were excellent! Overall, the 3 stars is for the freshness not the flavor (with the plantains as the exception).

It didn't take too long for the tamales to be ready and I was handed the hot chocolate immediately. We regretted ordering from the restaurant across the street when we first walked in, after we looked at the menu, and after we received the food. The hostess was very nice she even offered me a take out menu since you saw me taking pictures of their menu. I told her that I would be back because I can so see me bringing one of my groups back to try so many other dishes.
