Highly, highly recommend using them for a move! This was my first time using movers and I was reassured by Dennis's (the owner) promptness and friendliness when he spoke on the phone with me to discuss the details. Pricing was straightforward and actually ended up being slightly less in the end because it was 3.5 hours rather than the estimated 4 hours (that's was due to my partner, my dad, and myself pitching in). They made two stops (my old apartment and my partner's) so they really do move fast (Dennis and Ken helped us). They rent a UHaul so gas and that truck rental is tacked on with their hourly rate, but that still ended up being comparable (or even less) than some of the estimates I received. They take Zelle/Venmo and they also will take cash for the tip! They're really great guys and helped a lot with my move. read more

Handled my furniture and belongings, packed them in the truck carefully and managed the winding path from my door to the street well, and then unpacked and helped set up in my new place. Dennis and Dan were helpful and funny, hard workers! Very highly recommended, would definitely use them again read more

These guys are the best. We're hired them for over 6 moves over the last 15 years. Professional. Careful. Fast. read more

Holy moly. I hate moving, worst thing in the world. I have had nothing but horrible movers in my past, everything from over charging to blaming me on stealing their equipment. this time I decided to ask people who they recommend , and to my surprise I think I found the best movers in the country. Right off the bat they were on time, and wanted to be finished as much as we did. They moved so fast and were so helpful. They honestly couldn't have been better. 3 guys moved 30 boxes, big and bulky furniture from my old place to my new place and finished in 3 hours. They did not milk any second of the move, they hustled their asses off. Most importantly they did this with a great positive attitude. The last thing you need on moving day are douche bags. I will be telling everyone about them. They really made our day. read more

Sean & Dennis are such incredible professionals, I will forever sing their praises! Communication was stellar, they came on time, they worked feverishly (and carefully) in the scorching sun to pack up my u-box with Tetris precision and did so with a positive attitude and some good humor. There was no funny business when it came time to pay and the rate was the most reasonable in town! If you are moving and need some strong and awesome guys to help you out, do not hesitate to call Artists Movers! They are the best! read more

Sean and Dennis are rad! They make me want to move again and again, well, not really, but I have used them personally about 4 times and have referred them to friends and clients to rave reviews. They are smart, super efficient and kind of ridiculously affordable. Also, they seem to be able to disassemble and reassemble anything to get it where you want it, all with exceptionally great attitudes! read more

These guys "turned-up" the moving process to "11"...KUDOS to Artistry Movers - who richly deserve their name. A small operation of active musicians, offering fast, accommodating and VERY REASONABLY priced packing & moving. Being used to stowing LOTS of delicate gear for travel to gigs, quick set-up and quicker take-downs of their own cherished equipment, they worked wonders in respectfully loading my household items snugly in their truck - and then 'puzzle-piecing' everything into a small space. Special thanks to composer & violinist Sean, and Thrash guitarist & bass-player Vance... THEY TRULY ROCKED my move!! +18186054925 read more

We've used Artist Movers in 2012, 2017, and in 2019. They're a hard working, fast team who are careful and efficient in moving your treasures. The guys bring in a good, happy attitude which is such a relief during a potentially stressful time, like moving apartments. They have fair rates but please tip well, they're worth it! read more

We met Sean and Dennis back in 2006 when I was moving my mom from LA to Palm Springs. Now, 12 years and several moves later I honestly can't say enough about them. They are seriously THE BEST ! Professional, Reliable, Efficient, Attentive, Work fast & and actually make moving Fun ! I can go on and on about these guys. They deserve more than 5 stars. I have referred them to a ton of my friends and co-workers who feel the same and have thanked me for recommending them. They are awesome all around and I recommend them 100% ! I'm sure all their 5 star reviews speak for themselves ! You guys ROCK ! Thank you THANK YOU ! read more

I've used Artists Movers five times now...for both large and small jobs. By now, I know for sure that they are competent; highly trustworthy, hard workers and very nice! They have the dollies and tools required to do any move job I can imagine. Plus, they know how to handle your stuff. And, they know how to take things apart and put things (furniture etc) together. All of the reviews here are spot on. There's really nothing more or different than I can say about Sean and Dennis. I've recommended them to others, and highly recommend Artists Movers to anyone who might need their services!!! read more

5-Star Experience from start to finish. Artists Movers have a great reputation for a reason: they get the job done quick. We moved from a small condo to a house - with lots of stuff. The place was very well-prepared when Dennis & Vance arrived, but since you're never really completely packed, they got all the little stuff packed up and on the truck in no time, too. They even helped me return unused boxes to U-Haul, & delivered a piece of furniture to a friend for me. Helpful, reassuring, good-spirited, careful, courteous, strong, reliable, and FAST - all the things you could ask for in a moving company. Thanks, Guys! read more

I am so happy right now to find Dennis and Sean when I'm looking for someone to move me, again. Back in 2007 they helped me Move twice. They were so respectful of my belongings and so professional and chill. Can't wait to see you guys again read more

Easy to work with, fast and affordable. These guys were great. Actually charged me less than what they quoted me, which is typically unheard of from moving companies. We moved from a 2 bedroom apartment into two different apartments and they had no trouble packing everything up, dropping stuff off at the first place, then continuing onto the second. Really cool guys and would definitely hire them again. read more

Moved us last year. They showed up on time, worked carefully and responsibly, and ended up charging less than they originally quoted. The experience could not have been better. These guys are pros. read more

Professional Reliable Quick Reasonably-priced Very accommodating of time Chill Seamless from start to finish! If you have questions, PM me. But the rest of the reviews speak for themselves. A known quantity of high quality. read more

More than five stars! Bigger 'commercial' companies don't compare. Let's face it, moving is somewhat stressful. These guys take care of your stuff, your walls, they are extremely fast and efficient, and wait for it, just a whole lot of fun. A group of people who show up with a can do attitude with a contagious "this is the best move ever" vibe - even when you are all tuckered out - and they are pros at what they do? Execs would kill for a team like this! I've moved with them twice and will again and I recommend them to my friends. Don't steal all their time friends! I want them for my next move! read more

LOVE them! Had the most amazing and painless moving experience. They made an extra stop for me as we went from west Hollywood to Hollywood to San Marino in under 3 hours! Dependable, on time, chill guys! I'd definitely use them again. Denis understood my jokes which is also important. read more

Artist movers rocked our move!!! Highly recommend them. They were on time, friendly and communicative. I had two movers and they powered through my two bedroom apartment. My place is on the second story and has some odd turns in the entrance but this did not faze these guys a bit-they moved out the couch and refrigerator with ease! My stuff was going into storage and somehow they managed to get it all into 5X9 storage unit. It was amazing to watch them assess the space and get every thing in there-- snug and orderly. Their real-life Tetris skills are unmatched! Have moved many times but these guys are by far superior to any others! read more

Sean and the guys did a fantastic job and got us into our new home with ease. I highly recommend them for moving. Thanks again! read more

There's really no better way to put it than, Sean and Dennis point blank take the stress out of moving! Without them, I probably would have pulled all the hair out of my head. So for this, I am super thankful! GO ARTISTS MOVERS!!! read more

These guys are the best. We have used them on two moves now. Both times very professional and nothing broken or scratched. And they're great guys working in the music scene when they aren't moving you. Definitely check them out if you need help moving. read more

We have used Artists Movers quite a few times to move items from home and/or office to storage and to help clean out storage units. The other great reviews here reflect our experience. The team is excellent. You never get any "attitude." They are easy to schedule, reasonably priced, friendly, and do a professional job. We feel like family. We've been happy each and every time. read more

Holy moly. Artists Movers. The connotations can conjure up images of lofty, dreamy, and irresponsible, or in our case, professional, hardworking, and punctual. The latter is definitely the truth. I'm also a musician and in this town, in order to work one must always be the professional kind. We had a seemingly simple move, from a 1-bedroom to a 2-bedroom (it ended up being rather brutal). I was nervous particularly about some large pieces of furniture in awkward angles, knowing there was no way I'd be able to get that out of my place. So Dennis and Vance show up on time, and boom, right down the stairs. They had all the equipment necessary and knew everything about packing, wrapping, leveraging, etc. There's an experience these guys have that even most well-intentioned friends often lack. Long story short, it was one of hell of a move, but these guys made it so worthwhile in every sense. Their rates were totally reasonable, upfront, and the fact that they bring their truck with all their gear makes all the difference. Think about it. That wasted hour getting a U-Haul plus $25 for a stinkin' hand truck?! That's all included and then some. I've moved a lot of stuff, but this particular move had its challenges. When we got to the new place, the couch wouldn't fit through the front door. We tried everything. I would've just given up. Dennis and Vance we're like "no biggie, we'll just lift over the rear balcony (happened to be 10 feet high). We'll just need some help on your end." Really?! You can do that?! That kind of fearlessness, you can't even buy. I was being a nice host, offering beer or Red Bull. They politely declined as they were just focused on the work. Who does that?! And wow, they really were wanting to not overcharge me and make sure everything was done within the targeted time frame. I had about 7 other friends help move and they were all in awe of this awesome team. "Dude, I've had movers before and often they'd just take their time. These dudes HUSTLE!" - quotes recent immigrant from NYC. Nothing damaged, either. Yeah, that's it. read more

I was looking for a reasonable, reliable, and affordable moving company. My friend recommended these guys and I'm so glad I chose them. They were punctual and did an amazing job moving my stuff. Give them five stars all around and would highly recommend them! read more

These guys were great! I'm late in writing my review as my move was a few months ago. Nothing but high praise. They were fast, careful and affordable. They even came in under their time. Almost wish I could move again...well almost ;-) Awesome service! Highly recommended. read more

These guys are fantastic! They've moved me twice now to 2 different apartments. The speed at which they loaded and unloaded me was head spinning. They literally moved me from Sherman Oaks into my new apartment in DTLA during rush hour in under 2 1/2 hours. Efficient, friendly and professional service! Highly recommended! read more

This was the 1st time we used Sean. I called him and he showed up with his helper the very next day, did a quick and stress-less move for me. I would use them again in a NY minute. They were pleasant, honest & reasonably priced. Thanks to Yelp I found them. read more

they were awesome for a last minute move on the hottest day of the year (bad luck, really short notice) moving from Pasadena to downtown, and their rates were good too (out of everyone I called, they were the most reasonable and didn't nickel and dime for driving time/gas/etc). read more

Artists Movers are seriously the best!!! They moved me in to my place last year and were simply amazing. They make moving such a breeze, they're efficient, attentive, and so easy to get ahold of and schedule with. I cannot express how amazing these guys are. So fast and efficient! They came to the rescue after Fastruck Moving Co. literally ripped our contract in front of us and left us stranded. These guys came the next morning to help us move even on their day off. I will always use and recommend these guys. Thanks for all you do! read more

Sean and Dennis helped my husband and me move from an apartment to a house. From 9am until 7pm, they had a smile on their faces. They were gracious and acomodating, and never lost patience as I changed my mind about where things should go in our new home. They were flexible and worked around our schedule. I couldn't say enough great things about these guys! No plans to move anytime soon, but I would recommend them to family and freinds in a heart beat! read more

I met Sean and Dennis back in 2006 while doing a search for movers online. I was moving my mom from her home in Glendale, CA to Palm Springs. They were AMAZING !!! Professional, yet fun ! The move went so smooth. They made it so easy for us during a very difficult time. After that, we used them several more times, for small and BIG moves and have referred them to a ton of our friends and co-workers who love them just as much as we did. They are honest, fun, hard working and KNOW how to move your furniture. Truly amazing. One of the executives who used them from my company called them "Movers with integrity". I can't say enough about this awesome group of guys ! You guys ROCK ! :-) read more

This is one of the best moving companies I have ever used. They moved us out of a 4 story town home into a house that has 72 steps to the front door. Not once did they slow down and not once did they complain. They are extremely professional and make sure they do the best job they can. If you want the best help at an affordable price, then use this service as you will not be disappointed in the least. read more
