Submitted a prescription that called for diabetic shoes with a rocker sole. At 1st appointment ordered the shoes. Was told that after I approved the shoes, they would be sent out to insert rocker sole. At 2nd appointment, approved shoes, but was then told Summit Orthopedics wouldn't make me any rocker soles. This is the same bait and switch I got from the Eugene Summit. Must be a standard business practice. When I asked to speak to the person who told me that they would send them out to have rocker sole made, I was told "he's no longer available. I drove in from Scio for both appointments totaling more than 3 hours and over 130 miles. Not even an apology! Do not use Summit for any reason. Be wary of these dishonest people!

I had a previous good experience, however their practices have drastically changed. I've been…read moretrying to get a new orthotic now for 3-4 months. Summit tells me my insurance requires Dr.s notes, insurance (that I work for) says they don't need that or a referral. Insurance has even called them and told them so and doesn't understand why they're doing this. Additionally they are terrible at communicating any of this, the only way I get any updates is to call and inquire. Meanwhile my current brace is falling apart. Save your time and dignity and avoid this place if you can.

Barnhart will not respond to their E-mail at info@barnhart.com and when I sent them information, in a phone conversation was told they could not read their E-mail. Their pone service after hours will give you that E-mail however... Although they have not heard from me other than 1 call due to a post I left on F book, after the sale, they have not called or reached out to me for service or to see if I needed other products of adjustments or even to "touch base"... I am a RBK Thanks, have a great day...

We moved here from out of state and didn't know which place was the best place to get orthotics…read moremade. We had AFO's created at Barnhart and a TLSO created at another local company. After talking to Kris and seeing his talent for creating orthotics we have decided that Barnhart is our place! They're a good office so they do book up quickly but we've always been able to get in to be seen when needed. Susan runs the front desk and she is a pleasure to speak with. Kris LISTENS and never makes me feel rushed. That is super important to me as a mom. The AFO's he created are brilliant and my son, for the first time in his 9 years, doesn't hate wearing them! If he doesn't mind them, he wears them more, and therefore gets better long term results. Try Barnhart if you're checking out local places for orthotics and/or prosthetics.

Horrible service for a Nike store. No joke, every time I go in, they have a new employee that has…read moreno idea what retail service is. I was a concierge at a nearby hotel and I would hear from our guests daily about how they were treated poorly. Now they have a new policy that they don't return shoes after 6 months. But on the Nike app it shows all purchases from years back. Why have the app that shows you purchases if the store won't take back brand new items. No where does it say this in stores or online. I have hundreds of pairs of new shoes that they refuse to trade in for new releases. I am done with Nike. Their clothes have lost all quality, and they are selling cheaply made designs on the showroom floor. I suggest going with an American alternative

Stopped in this Nike location because well, Hi we were in Oregon so it only felt right…read more I'll admit, I'm not a big Nike fan anymore. I love supporting smaller athletic and athleisure wear companies but Nike is Nike and will always be Nike. I think it's still a solid choice for Men but there are so many far better small brand options for Women in my opinion. My brother is also sponsored by Nike and Callaway so buying these brands at retail price just seems silly to me. I have zero reason to do it other than wanting something right then and there - and I did! I wanted a little gift to bring home to my son, since he's a runner and I was in Eugene. I found a great shirt for him. Customer service was great, store associates were friendly at each encounter.

It is my opinion that rex smith is a Sad excuse for a doctor. In my experience he seemed arrogant,…read morelacking patient skills, and may be prone to misdiagnosis. I went to him several years ago. He didn't seem to concerned and eventually ended up diagnosing me with multiple neuromas. He just couldn't say I don't know. He didn't want to treat me because he didn't really know, but he couldn't say that. He told me I should go home and stay off my feet for three or four months and I'd be OK. I asked him if he would write that as prescription for short term disability and physical therapy, but he wouldn't, because he knew he didn't know. He just threw out something that was impossible to do so he didn't have to say he didn't know. I then went to another podiatrist immediately diagnosed my problems as peripheral neuropathy and was able to give me a medication that worked. Thank God there are doctors who know, and good doctors will tell you they don't know if they don't know. There are some really good Podiatrist in town in my opinion, this isn't one of them. If I were you, I think I'd book someplace else.

I was appalled at the front desk help. This lady was like Cruella Deville. She was rude,…read moredisrespectful, and just plain unhappy. The doctor diagnosed my friend without even doing a physical exam and then did not refer her on for testing or further treatment. He gave her a foot orthotic..of course, because orthotics are priced over 110% of their worth. If you want real treatment and a friendly atmosphere, go somewhere else. Because if you choose this doctor and you need something else done, it will be Miss Deville answering your call. I was not impressed and I have been in the medical field over 25 years. Then you have Rex Smith answering your message; and quite frankly, I believe it will be a lazy answer.

My mom was brought in to the ER by ambulance following a stroke. We weren't sure what was happening…read moreand requested an MRI. It showed that she had in fact had a stroke. She was kept overnight. The next morning Dr Whitsel walked in the room and her first words were "She has dementia!" I questioned how she could diagnose it so quickly and she responded that mom was given a story to read and then asked questions about it and that she had failed the test. I continued asking questions and she said that she had 8 new patients and she would have to look over her notes. I think she should have gone over the notes before she entered the room. She has HORRIBLE bedside manner and does not like to be questioned. I would suggest you request a different doctor if she is looking at your patient.

Decided the moment she saw me that she had issues with me, it was obvious. Popped into my room throughout my week long visit at McKenzie Willamette's Progressive Care Unit (which she is somehow the 'hospitalist' for) to make weird and taunting statements while displaying a poorly disguised grin. After a procedure to save my life, she (the last time I'll assign it any human/animal pronoun) was the first face I saw while coming out from under anesthesia, telling me it was discharging me immediately. My actual cardiologist had told me I would be kept for observation. When I argued with it, it told me it was her wing and it was not going to be argued with. I stayed the night but was rushed out next day even after staff had damaged my prosthetic in the process. Yeah, I'm also an amputee. I would recommend it be stripped of title and prosecuted. It is an absolute monster and it never should have been given license to practice. Still in process of taking legal action. The ER staff were amazing. The majority of nurses on it's wing became increasingly cold and passive aggressively punitive as the week went on, and I have no doubt it was at the urging of Whitsel. F@#k Whitsel.
